The title of the Word: When will the Lord be reigning among all nations?
The Holy Spirit made King David prophesy that Jesus Christ, who appeared on earth long after, is rejected by his people Jews, crucified, and suffered all kinds of afflictions and insults. Psalm 22 prophesies in great detail the sufferings and deaths of Christ. Through the Gospels, the apostles testify in detail about all the sufferings that the Lord suffered on the cross, thus demonstrating that the prayer of King David in Psalm 22 is not about himself, but about the Messiah to come.
In addition, King David also testifies of what follows after the crucifixion:
” All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.28For the kingdom is the LORD’S: and he is the governor among the nations. 29All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.”(Psalm 22: 27-29)
Apostle Paul also testified that one day in the same Spirit it would be done:
” Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; “(Philippians 2: 5-10)
Not only has not all the nations knelt before the name of Jesus and worshiped him, even though the Lord Jesus Christ had already ascended into heaven two thousand years ago, but not all nations fulfilled it by rebelling against him It is in order to worship the Antichrist.
John the Baptist and Jesus cried out to the Jews to repent because the kingdom of heaven was near, but they rebelled against Jesus, their king and crucified. Jesus had known this beforehand and said:
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force .” (Matthew 11:12)
That’s right! Herod, who flattered the Roman Empire and became the king Jews, not a descendant of Jacob, but a descendant of Esau. He was not a legitimate king, He took over the kingdom of heaven.
But Jesus, who knew all this beforehand, would give life to Jews and Gentiles without discrimination (Ro 1: 26) Jesus planed to make his own church. King David prophesied of this in the Spirit:
” A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.31They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.” (Psalm 22: 30-31)
According to this prophecy, the Holy Ghost that came in the name of Jesus Christ entered into them that believe in him to make them a generation. And letting Jesus Christ to be the head of the church of God. Thsi is the generation of grace. Of this King David testified in Psalms 23 saying, ” The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. “(Psalm 23: 1-3).
He testified of the Lord Jesus Christ, his Messiah to be his shepherd. The Holy Spirit has foretold through King David that the time of the Church will come after the Lord died on the cross and resurrected.
King David prophesied that the Lord Jesus Christ would reappear on this earth, as the king of kings and the Lord of Lords to build set his kingdom, in psalm 24:
” Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.8Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
9Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.10Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. “(Psalm 24: 7-10)
The prophet Zechariah, who had seen this glorious scene in the Holy Spirit, foretold when this shall be done: ” Behold , the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee., 2For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.….. And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. “(Zechariah 14: 1-4, 9)
The prophet Isaiah prophesied that in that day all things, including the cursed land, shall be restored:
” The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.7And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.8And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.9They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.… The wolf alsoshall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.7And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.9They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.….. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.6Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. “(Isaiah 11: 6-9, Isaiah 35: 1,2 , 5,6)
The prophet Ezekiel predicted that when the millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ come, the living waters shall flow from the threshold of the temple and revive the Dead Sea :
” Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.… And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it medicine.shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for “(Ezek.47:8, 12)
Apostle Paul testified that all creatures suffering because of man’s sin await the day and endure all things:
” For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,21Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.“(Romans 8: 19-21).
Not only that, he gave a message of consolation to the children of God in Rome, suffering with all creation, suffering from extreme suffering while looking at the redemption of the body, the rapture:
” For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. ” (Romans 8: 22-23 )
