The title of the Word: God will not leave even a piece of the bride of Jesus Christ in the world
Genesis ends with the death and burial of Israel and Joseph. Without Exodus, Genesis is bound to end without hope. At the request of Joseph, Pharaoh allowed to bury Joseph’s father Israel in the Promised Land, not in Egypt.
Fear came to his brothers when he returned home after burying his father. This is as what we are. Even though Jesus Christ who came to the world as a servant and died for our sins, and forgave all our sins and even not remember our sins. But we have doubts and fears whenever we sin. When Joseph’s brothers told Joseph what his father had not said, Joseph wept. His heart was so troubled. When our Lord was in the flesh in the world, the Jews did not believe in Him, He cried to Jerusalem weeping. In addition, when Jesus was on the way to Calvery to die on the cross, he said to the crying women because of him, “Do not weep for me, but weep for you and your children.”
Joseph seems to be as a model of Jesus Christ, who shall appear in the world as the Saviour. Joseph completely forgave his brothers and told them tenderly. Apostle Paul told the Saints of Ephesus to forgive each other in his letter:
” And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. ” (Ephesians 4:32)
Sometimes one of the reasons why we have doubt of that the Lord has forgiven us entirely is doubt and fear that comes from not forgiving others completely. Forgive and forget are completely different each other. The former is to give, the latter to receive. Because we do not forgive the sins of others but forget, sometimes we doubt that our Lord has forgiven us completely but forget our sins
Joseph told his brothers, as the Holy Ghost said in Romans 8:28 through Apostle Paul, that all things work together to make good for those who love God, who have been called according to his purpose:
” But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.21Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them. ” (Gen. 50: 20-21)
Likewise, the Lord died on the cross for our sins, just as we have killed him. But God has turned everything into good by changing the good and raising the millions of people who are perishing in the world like Egypt.
We can see through Joseph the image of Jesus Christ appearing to remove the sin of the world:
First, Joseph said unto his brothers to love, not fight, as the Lord said. to his disciples on the way to Mount Olivet to give His final prayer:
” This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.” (John 15:12)
Second, Joseph went out to meet his father Israel:
” And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while. “(Gen. 46:29)
Likewise, our Lord Jesus Christ will leave the throne of heaven and present himself in the air to meet us (I Thessalonians 4: 16-18)
Third, the family of Joseph at that time was the shepherds, and to the Egyptians, they were desecrated and abominable. It was people who could not live together. God’s children are also worthless and abominable when the world sees them. They are people who have come to the Lord realizing that they are ugly and filthy sinners.
Fourth, Joseph also gave inheritance to his brethren, just as the Lord come back and he gives inheritance cities as much as we occupy with the pound given by him.
Fifth, Joseph gave the seeds to them that could not repay their debts to Pharaoh, and after giving them the land whosoever he desired to cultivate the land and supplied seed to the sower. Joseph gave those who planted seeds four fifth of what they harvested. He did not exploit them but allowed them to live as gentle rulers.
Apostle Paul testified about the sower:
” Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)” (2 Corinthians 9:10).
Even God gives material unto them that sow the seed money, as well as spiritual fruit of righteousness unto them that sow the seed of the word of God
Sixth, Joseph wept like the Lord. He wept upon seeing that he brothers not understood him. Our Lord is also suffering in heaven whenever Christians sin without knowing his grace. Our Lord Jesus is still meditating for our sake with our own blood in heaven.
Seventh, just as Jesus went up after he rose again in the world like Egypt not leaving even a bone and even his own blood, Joseph did not leave his bones in Egypt when the Israelites left Egypt, but took them to the Promised Land as he asked his brothers.
Genesis 1: 1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis ends with the word death. Joseph was put in a coffin. This is the Word of God spoken to the human being in the world. Without the righteousness of God, without the grace of redemption through the blood of Christ, the world shall be finished as it is. Even though every man and woman are born into the world by the hand of God , all of them shall be put in coffins. Most humans, however, are deceived by the wisdom of man, wisdom of the world, and wisdom of the ruler, who speak through philosophy.
The man of God, Jacob, also left Egypt and was buried in the Promised Land. Joseph also not left his bones in Egypt when Israelites left Egypt to the Promised Land. And all the children of Israel not leaving even one left Egypt, Therefore, without Exodus, our life is bound to be without hope.. But we are born again by the Holy Spirit and have came out of the world like Egypt and entered into the spiritual kingdom of God.
But soon or later, when the heavenly gates open and our Lord Jesus Christ emerges from heaven with a shout of the archangel and the trump of God, our bodies shall pass through eternity from the world like the sinful Egypt forever not leaving even a bone. We will meet our physical Exodus with the sound of God’s trump. Therefore, because we have this hope, we must lead many people into this hope. That is why we have to fulfill our responsibilities as the Ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).
