4-28-2019 Weekly Message Meditations of the Week: Psalms 12:1-8 Text: Acts 2:1-13 Theme of the Word: Let us discern the spirit of truth and the spirit of seduction!
Jesus taught His disciples to discern the spirit in detail explaining about the Spirit of truth,
“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. “(John 14: 16-17).
All men including his disciples had lived miserable life in the midst of sin, curses, and death under the devil for the past four thousand years. , But Jesus spoke unto the disciples to comfort all men giving them the eternal life through the Holy Ghost whosoever believe in him.
Jesus also spoke of how the Comforter serves his disciples when the Holy Spirit, come:
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.“ (John 14:26)
For three and a half years before God sent the Holy Spirit, Jesus taught the Word
s day and night. But they did not remember those words because they were not yet in the Holy Spirit, but he said that when they receive the Holy Spirit, they shall remember them. Even today, if anyone receives the Holy Spirit, they will be able to remember the words that they have heard and be able to testify of them. This is why Apostle Paul testified that the Word of God is the sword of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 6:17).
On His way to Gethsemane, Jesus told His disciples to dwell in His Word and to bear much fruit, and what
the Holy Ghost dwelling in them would do through them:
“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning” (John 15: 26-27)
To witness Jesus, the Lord and Christ, only those who have seen Him can do it. The disciples of Jesus were witnesses who saw Him in their own eyes. Therefore, they could testify about Jesus. Not only those who have received the Holy Spirit and who have seen Him spiritually present in the Holy Spirit can also testify of Him. Just before Jesus ascended, all those who would receive the Holy Spirit would receive power and be made witnesses of him to the ends of the earth.
He also said that the Holy Spirit who comes into the world in his own name will proclaim to all who are living in a world filled with the spirit of the Antichrist, not the truth, to escape the spirit of deceit that they believe is true:
” And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
10Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. “(John 16: 8-11).
Since the devil has deprived this world from God, the Antichrist
has brainwashed all men not to know the three kinds of very important truth of sin, righteousness and judgment. The devil has brainwashed using the education system of the world for men think of the wisdom of God foolish using the wisdom of man. The education system can be summarized as philosophy. In other word, all disciplines taught in the world originated from the reason of man that is totally corrupted. Therefore all the philosophy other then the words of God are not the spirit of truth, but the spirit of seduction from the spirit of the antichrist. Apostle Paul understood this, and testified that all things learned in the world were dumped out ad dung since he was born again of the Spirit of God. He sent a warning message about philosophy, the spirit of seduction:
“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.“ (Col. 2: 8)
As Jesus spoke to his disciples before the Ascension, the Holy Spirit promised to the disciples who waited for on Pentecost, the fiftieth day after the resurrection, and ten days after the ascension came upon them, It was like a strong wind. At that time, all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues (languages) as the Holy Spirit had spoken to them. They did not know what they were talking about because they spoke in languages they did not know. But the Holy Spirit has planned to prepare the people of the nations who use the languages they speak in order to witness Christ Jesus through them, so that they may testify of Christ.
The Bible tells us what languages people used to hear what they were talking about at the time. They heard in their own languages spoken by the Holy Ghost that is the spirit of truth:
” Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. “(Acts 2: 9-11)
The Holy Spirit gave them the message of comfort through the Spirit of truth, through which they heard the truth, and gave them a message of comfort to those who live in the areas in which they lived. Many people have been pushed into the kingdom of God by the gospel of Christ preached by the people who have received the Holy Spirit for the last two thousand years, coming out of the ruling of the devil.
Apostle John, who received the Spirit of Truth, testified of the discerning spirit between the spirit of truth and the spirit of seduction:
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God:because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error “(1 John 4: 1-6)
