6-2-2019 Weekly Message The contemplation of the week: Psalm 46: 1-11 Text: Psalm 91: 1-16 Theme of the Word: God who is the refuge and fortress of God’s people and children
For the last 6,000 years since Satan had taken over the rulership of this world violently, he has been constantly attacking God’s people and children by injecting the spirit of Antichrist into the Principalities and Powers, the rulers of the darkness of the world, and the evil spirits . God’s people are bound to live in fear until the Lord Jesus Christ appears in the world and judges the world. Therefore, unless God becomes their refuge and fortress, they will be locked away in death.
Therefore, world history has been proving the persecution and slaughter
against Israel. God protected them in a miraculous way and became their refuge and fortress. In addition, during the upcoming tribulation period, through the Antichrist, in the crisis that all of them must be killed and not to be destroyed, God will raise them by bringing them into their refuge by saving them.
When the Israelites who had come into Egypt with the help of Joseph
, the Lord God brought forth ten plagues through Moses.they were in the shelter of God in a safe haven. And in the period of the Great Tribulation, God will save them in the midst of slaughter of all of them, and he will send them to the refuge to feed them all
“And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.….Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.“(Exodus 8: 22; 9: 26)
“And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent..” (Revelation 12: 14)
That’s right! In the today’s text, “The one who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will live in the shadow of the Almighty.”
The doctrine wise, this words speaks of the Jews in the midst of the great tribulation.
This word is also for the children of God who are living in the age of grace today. Today, God’s children are living in world like Egypt. However, as Jesus said, those born again by the Holy Spirit see the spiritual kingdom of God and enter into it, dwelling in the secret place of the Most High, and living under the shadow of the Almighty. Therefore, in the threat of Satan, they are dwelling in the kingdom of God not worrying about what to eat and drink in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Satan will become a new god-like man and set a trap to hunt down the children of God and kill them with a terrible plague, but the Lord will rescue us. There is a historical record that a plague of Europeans had erupted long ago, and the great number of people died, but the Jews did not die at all.
When Jesus spoke to Jerusalem and spoke, he intended to cover them with his feathers, but they said they rebelled against his protection in his feathers. Even now, the Lord wants His feathers to cover and protect His people and His children:
” O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. “(Matthew 23: 37-38).
When we enter into the Feather of the Lord, and walk with faith in the shield of truth, we will not fear the night or the destruction that is devastating in the horrors of daytime, in the arrows that float in the darkness or in the infectious disease or in the darkness. We tell them that they will not come near and will see the reward for the wicked.
We are also saying that we must trust in the Most High God, our refuge, in order to prevent disasters and plagues from coming near our place, and to make a place in Him. At this time God sends His angels to keep us in every way. The angels are promising that they will not hold us with their hands and fall over the stone.
At this time, we can tread on lions and serpents, and we can trample on young lions. Jesus promised the disciples of the Seventy:
” And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.19Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.20Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. “(Luke 10: 18-20).
That’s right! We are in a spiritual battle with Satan in the world of sin, with his principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual evils on high places. Therefore, we must constantly attack in the spiritual battlefield, wearing the full armor of God, defending them and attacking them with the word of God. preaching the Gospel is the way to attack them, and attacking is the best defense.
Therefore, we must be saved by calling the name of the Lord whenever we are suffering, and we must magnify the name of the Lord. Also, when we call on the name of the Lord, the Lord will save from all kinds of calamities and diseases
King David vowed not to forget the blessings of God given unto us:
“ Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.“(Psalm 103: 1-5)
Finally, for the doctrine in the text, we must know what the Bible speaks first of doctrine for those where they live. Because Satan is trying to give us by telling us the wrong words against doctrine. For example, by saying that ancient Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were very rich men, so we must be very rich to show our faith unto God. This wrong doctrine discourage us when we are poor. .
We can see that today’s text is the doctrine that will be in place during the great tribulation: ” There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. “(Psalm 91: 10-12)
This means that at the end of the Great Tribulation, when Jesus returns to
Mount of Olives, the angels will not let his foot strike against the stone. To know this, wecan see the quoting of the devil unto Jesus when he was tempted by the devil in the wilderness:
” If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.” (Matthew 4:6)
In the words of the devil who applied the Word at the time of the Second Coming
not his first coming, Jesus immediately said,“
.’It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.“(Matt. 4: 7)
That’s right! If we do not wear the whole armor with the Word of God, we are bound to fall into the temptation of the devil. Therefore, we must first know the doctrine in the Word of God, and then we must realize the spiritual words. The apostle Paul appealed to pastor Timothy:
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3: 17)
Today’s text is a doctrinal word for the Jews in times of trouble, but it is also a word of promise given to us spiritually. Amen! Hallelujah!
