금주의 묵상: 시편 50:1-23

본문: 이사야 64:1-8

제목: 그리스도를 기다리는 자들을 위하여 열리는 하늘 문

     세상에 죄가 들어와서 죄와 사망의 권세잡은 자 마귀가 통치하기 시작한 이래로 하나님께서는 한 날을 정해 놓으셨다. 그 한 날은 주 예수 그리스도를 기다리는 자들에게는 소망의 날이지만 그분을 믿지 않는 자들에게는 재앙의 날이 될 것이다. 선지자 이사야는 자신을 믿지 않고 자신의 백성들과 자녀들을 핍박하고 죽인 이방나라에 복수하시기 위하여 하늘을 가르고 나타나시는 주 예수 그리스도의 모습을 분명하게 예언하고 있다: “오, 원컨대 주께서 하늘들을 가르고 내려오시며, 산들도 주의 면전에서 흘러내리기를 용해하는 불길이 타서 그 불이 물을 끓게 하는 것 같이 되게 하시며, 주의 이름을 주의 대적들에게 알게 하셔서 민족들로 주의 면전에서 떨게 하소서! 주께서 내려오셔서 우리가 바라지 않았던 두려운 일들을 행하셨을 떄, 산들이 주의 면전에서 흘러내렸나이다.”(사 64:1-3)

     오늘 본문은 모든 민족들로부터 박해를 받아온 이스라엘 백성들을 위하여 복수하시려고 오시는 장면이다. 선지자 이사야는 예수 그리스도의 초림과 재림에 대하여 예언할 때에 은혜의 복음을 전파하시고 동시에 이스라엘을 위한 복수의 날을 선포하실 것을 예언했다: “주 하나님의 영이 내게 임하였으니, 이는 주께서 내게 기름을 부으사 온유한 자에게 기쁜 소식들을 전파하게 하셨음이라. 그가 나를 보내심은 마음이 상한 사람들을 싸매고, 포로된 자에게 자유를, 갇힌 자에게 감옥이 열림을 선포하며 주의 기뻐 받으시는 해를 선포하고, 우리 하나님의 복수의 날을 선포하며, 모든 슬픈 자를 위로하고, 시온에서 슬퍼하는 자들을 정하여 그들에게 재를 대신하여 아름다움을, 슬픔 대신 기쁨의 기름을, 무거운 영 대신 찬양의 의복을 주어 그들로 주의 심으신 의의 나무들이라 불리게 하여 주께서 영광을 받으시려는 것이라.”(사 61:1-3)

    이 예언을 이루시려고 이 땅에 나타나신 예수 그리스도에 대하여 누가는 이렇게 증거했다: “주께서 자라나신 나사렛에 오셔서 자신의 관례에 따라 안식일에 회당에 들어가셔서 성경을 읽으시려고 서시더라. 선지자 이사야의 책을 드리니 그 책을 펴시고 이같이 기록된 부분을 찾으시더라. ‘주의 영이 내게 임하시니 이는 가난한 자들에게 복음을 전하게 하시려고 내게 기름을 부으심이라. 그가 나를 보내셨으니 이는 마음이 상한 자를 자유케 하시며, 포로들에게 구원을 선포하고, 눈 먼자를 보게 하고 짓밟힌 자들을 해방시켜주고 주의 기뻐 받으시는 해를 전파하게 하심이라.’고 하시고 책을 덮으신 후 그것을 맡은 자에게 다시 주고 앉으시니, 회당에 있는 모든 사람의 눈이 그에게로 주목되더라. 주께서 그들에게 말씀하기 시작하시어 ‘이 성경이 오늘날 너희 귀에 이루어졌느니라.’고 하시니”(눅 4:16-21)

     주님께서는 은혜의 복음을 전파하신 후에   선지자 이사야가 예언한 “하나님의 복수의 날”은 선포하지 않으시고 책을 덮으셨다. 은혜의 복음이 선포되고 예수 그리스도께서 믿는 모든 사람의 죄들를 용서하시고 은혜로 구원하시려고 십자가에서 모든 죄인들을 위하여 피흘려 죽으신 후 이천 년 동안 교회시대는 한 마디로 피의 발자취로서 하나님의 백성들과 자녀들이 흘린 피로 물든 역사였다. 조만간 예수 그리스도께서는 하늘 문을 여시고 자신의 신부들을 하늘로 들려올리실 것이다. 성령 안에서 이 장면에 대하여 사도 요한은 이렇게 증거했다: “이 일 후에 내가 쳐다보니, 보라, 하늘에 한 문이 열려 있는데 내가 들은 첫 음성은 나팔 소리 같았으며, 내게 말하여 이르기를  ‘이리 올라오아. 내가 이후에 마땅히 일어날 일들을 네게 보여주리라.” 하더라. 또 내가 즉시 영 안에 있게 되었는데, 보라, 하늘에 한 보좌가 놓여있고 한 분이 그 보좌에 앉으셨는데 앉으신 분의 용모가 벽옥과 홍보석 같으며 그 보좌를 두른 무지개는 에메랄드같이 보이더라.”(계 4:1-3)

     사도 요한은 지난 이천 년 동안 교회시대에 일어났던 모든 일들을 미리 증거한 후 배교한 리오디게아 시대가 끝난 어느 날 하늘 문이 열리면서 자신이 하늘 보좌로 들려올라가서 본 것들을 증거한 것이다. 연이어 그는 첫 번째 인이 떼어지면서 흰말을 탄 적그리스도가 나타나는 것을 증거했다. 또한 사도 바울도 성령 안에서 동일한 증거를 했다:  “형제들아, 우리 주 에수 그리스도의 오심과, 그 앞에 우리가 함께 모이는 일에 관하여 이제 너희에게 간구하노니, 영으로나 말로나 또는 우리에게서 받았다고 하는 편지로나 그리스도의 날이 가까웠다고 마음이 쉽게 흔들리거나 두려워해서는 안될 것이라. 아무도 어떤 모양으로든지 너희를 미혹하지 못하게 하라. 이는 먼저 배교하는 일이 이르지 않고서는 그 날이 오지 아나함이라. 그리고 나서 그 죄의 사람 곧 멸망의 아들이 나타나리라. 그는 대적하는 자며, 또 하나님이라고 불리는 모든 것과 숭배받는 대상 위에 자신을 높여 하나님의 성전에 앉아 하나님처럼 보여 자신을 하나님이라고 하느니라. …불법의 신비가 이미 활동하고 있나니 현재는 막는 자가 있어 막을 것이나 그가 그 길에서 옮겨질 때까지만 그리하리라. 그리고 나서 그 악한 자가 나타나리니 주께서 그를 자기 입에서 나오는 영으로 소멸하시고 그의 찬란한 오심으로 제거하리라.”(살후 2:1-4)

     오늘 본문 말씀은 적그리스도를 소멸시키시고 하나님의 백성들과 자녀들의 원한 갚아주시기 위하여 나타나시는 장면을 우리는 미리 본다. 이때에도 하늘 문이 한 번 더 열린다. 사도 요한은 이 장면을 미리 보고 증거했다: “또 내가 하늘이 열린 것을 보니 흰 말이 보이더라. 그 위에 앉으신 분은 신실과 진실이라 불리며 의로 심판하고 싸우시더라. 그의 눈은 불꽃 같고 머리에는 많은 왕관이 있고 또 한 이름이 기록되어 있는데 그 자신 외에는 아무도 모르며 피에 적신 옷을 입었는데 그의 이름은 하나님의 말씀이라고 불리더라. 또 하늘에 있는 군대들은 희고 정결한 세마포를 입고 흰말들을 타고 그를 따르더라. 그의 입에서는 예리한 칼이 나와서 그것으로 민족들을 칠 것이며 또 철장으로 그들을 다스릴 것이며, 그는 전능하신 하나님의 맹렬한 진노의 포도즙틀을 밟으실 것이라.또 그의 옷과 넓적다리에 이름이 기록되어 있는데 ‘만왕의왕, 또 만주의 주’라 하였더라.”(계 19:11-16)

      선지자 이사야도 본문에 앞서서 계시록의 장면을 미리 예언했다: “보스라에서 물들인 옷을 입고 에돔에서 오는 이가 누구인가? 그의 의복이 화려하고 그의 능력의 위엄으로 거니는 자가 누구인가? 의로 말하는 나니, 구원하기에 능력이 있도다. 어찌하여 네 의복이 붉으며 네 옷이 포도즙틀을 밟는 자 같은가? 나는 포도즙틀을 밟았고 백성 중에 나와 함께한 자가 아무도 없었도다. 나의 분함으로 인하여 그들을 밟고 나의 진노함 속에서 그들을 짓밟으리니 그러면 그들의 피가 내 옷에 튀어서 내가 내 옷을 모두 얼룩지게 할 것이라. 이는 복수의 날이 내 마음 속에 있고, 내 구속의 해가 오기 때문이라.”(사 63:1-4)

     본문에서 이사야는 주 예수 그리스도께서 하나님의 사람들의 원수들을 복수하시기 위하여 나타나시는 일은 주를 기다리는 자들을 위하여 예비하신 것이라고 증거하고 있으며 이는 세상이 시작된 이래로 사람들이 들은 적도 없고, 귀로 깨닫지도 못하였으며, 눈으로 보지도 못하였다고 증거하고 있는 바, 이 사건은 전후무후한 일이 될 것이며 이것을 깨닫지 못하다가 심판의 날을 맞이하는 어떤 사람도 피할 길이 없음을 선포하고 있는 것이다.

그리고 이 복수의 날은 아마겟돈에서 모든 민족들이 이스라엘을 공격할 때에 드라마틱하게 이루어질 것이라고 선지자 스카랴는 증거했다: “보라, 주의 날(복수의 날)이 오나니, 네 약탈물이 네 가운데서 나뉘리라. 내가 모든 민족들을 모아 예루살렘을 대적하여 싸우게 하리라. 성읍은 함락되고 집들은 강탈당하며 여자들은 욕을 당하고, 성읍의 절반이 사로잡혀갈 것이나, 백성의 나머지는 성읍에서 끊어지지 아니하리라. 그때에 주께서 나가 그 민족들을 대적하여 싸우시리니, 전쟁의 날에 싸우셨을 때처럼하시리라.”(슥 14:1-3)

     그렇다! 이 날에는 세상나라들에게는 심판의 날이 될 것이나 주님의 오심을 기다리는 자들에게는 영원한 축복이 시작되는 날이 될 것이다. 그러나 이 날에 대하여는 어떤 누구도 알 수 없으며 주를 기다리는 자들만이 알 수 있는 것이다. 다시 말해서 회심하여 다시 오실 예수 그리스도를 믿는 자들에게만 계시되는 날인 것이다. 성령 안에서 이 사실을 깨달은 사도 바울은 선지자 이사야가 예언한 것에 관하여 증거했다:

“그러나 기록된 바와 같이 ‘하나님께서는 자기를 사랑하는 자들을 위하여 에비한 것들은 눈으로 보지도 못하였고 귀로 듣지도 못하였으며 인간의 마음 속에 들어온 적도 없었느니라.’ 한 것이라. 그러나 하나님께서 이것들을 우리에게 그의 영으로 나타내셨으니 이는 성령께서는 모든 것, 심지어 하나님의 깊은 것들까지도 통찰하시기 때문이라. 사람의 일을 그 사람 안에 있는 사람의 영이 아니면 누가 알리요? 이와같이 하나님의 일도 하나님의 영이 아니면 아무도 모르느니라. 우리가 세상의 영을 받지 아니하고 오직 하나님께로부터 온 영을 받았으니 이는 우리로 하나님께서 우리에게 값었이 주신 것들을 알게 하려 하심이라. 또한 우리가 그것들을 말하되 인간의 지혜가 가르치는 말로 하지 아니하고 성령께서 가르치시는 말로 하나니 영적인 일들을 영적으로 비교하여 말하느니라. 그러나 자연인은 하나님의 영의 일들을 받아들이지 아니하나니 이는 그 일들이 그 사람에게는 어리석게 여겨지기 때문이요, 또 알 수도 없나니 이는 그 일들이 영적으로만이 분별되기 때문이니라. 영적인 사람은 모든 것들을 판단하나 자신은 아무에게도 판단을 받지 아니하느니라. 누가 주의 생각을 알았다고 주를 가르치겠느냐? 그러나 우리는 그리스도의 생각을 가졌느니라.”(고전 2:9-16)

     사도 베드로는 이 소망이 있는 성도들에게 어떤 삶을 살면서 주님을 기다려야 하는 지에 관해 권면했다:

“만물의 마지막이 가까웠으니 그러므로 너희는 정신을 차리고 깨어 기도하라. 무엇보다 서로 뜨겁게 사랑하라. 이는 사랑이 허다한 죄들을 덮기 때문이니라. 불평하지 말고 서로 대접하며 각 사람이 받은 은사 대로, 하나님의 다양한 은혜를 받은 선한 청지기 같이 서로 섬기라. 만일 누가 말하려거든 하나님의 말씀처럼 말하고, 또 누가 섬기려거든 하나님께서 공급하시는 능력으로 하는 것처럼 하라. 이는 모든 일에 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님께서 영광을 받으시게 하려 함이니, 그분께 찬양과 권세가 영원무궁토록 있느니라. 아멘. 사랑하는 자들아, 너희를 연단시키려는 불같은 시련에 관하여 너희에게 어떤 이상한 일이 일어나는 것처럼 이상하게 여기지 말고 도리어 너희가 그리스도의 고난에 참여하는 자들이 되는 것이니 즐거워하라. 이는 그의 영광이 나타나실 때에 너희도 큰 기쁨으로 즐거워하게 하려 함이니라. 너희가 그리스도의 이름을 위하여 욕을 당하면 복이 있느니라. 이는 영광의 영 곧 하나님의 영께서 너희 위에서 안식하고 계시기 때문이니라. 그들의 편에서는 그분께서 비방을 당하시나, 너희 편에서는 영광을 받으시느니라…..그러므로 하나님의 뜻에 따라 고난을 받는 사람들은 선을 행하면서, 신실하신 창조주께 그들의 혼을 지키시도록 맡길지어다.”(벧전 4:7-14,19)

     당신은 자연인(Natural Biological man)인가? 아니면 하나님의 영을 받아 거듭난 영적인 사람(Spiritual man)인가? 오늘이 회개하여 그리스도 안에 있는 성령을 받아 눈이 열려 하나님께서 예비하신 것들을 보고 소망 속에서 살아가야하는 은혜의 날인 것이다. 조만간 휴거가 일어나고 교회가 이 땅으로부터 사라지게 될 때에 이 은혜의 문은 영원토록 다시 열리지 않게 될 것이다. 이 세상 썩어질 것들에 소망을 두지 말고 하나님께서 예비하신 영원한 약속을 바라보지 않겠는가?

Meditation of the week: Psalms 50:1-23

Main scripture: Isaiah 64:1-8

Subject: The door of heaven to be opened for them that are waiting upon Christ

     God set a date since the Devil started to rule on the earth bringing forth sin and death with power thereof. The day is the hope for them that are waiting upon the Lord Jesus Christ, but it will be the day of wrath for them that not believe on him. Prophet Isaiah testified of the Lord Jesus Christ that is to render the heaven and to appear to revenge on the nations of the Gentiles that had persecuted his people and his children:

“Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence! When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.”(Isa. 64:1-3)

     The main passage shows the scene of the Lord Jesus Christ coming again to revenge for the people of Israel persecuted by all the nations. When prophet Isaiah prophecy of the first coming of Jesus Christ as well as his second coming, he mentioned about him that preaches the gospel of grace as well as proclaims the day of vengeance at the same time:

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.”(Isa. 63:1-3)

     Luke testified of Jesus Christ that appeared on the earth to fulfill this prophesy:

“And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”(Luke 4:16-21)

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”(Rev. 19:11-16)

     After Jesus preached the gospel of grace, he closed the book of Isaiah not preaching the day of vengeance that was foretold by Isaiah.  Since Jesus proclaimed the gospel of grace, and died on the cross shedding to forgive all the sins of men to save them, the age of church has been filled with the blood of the people of Israel and Christians. Sooner or later, Jesus Christ shall open the door of heaven to take away his brides to heaven. Apostle John testified of this in the Spirit:

 “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.”(Rev. 4:1-3)

     After John testified of all things that are happening in the age of the church for last two thousand years, he revealed what he saw when he was lifted to heaven at the end of the age of the church of Laodicea. He also testified of the Antichrist riding a white horse when the first seal was opened. Apostle Paul also testified of him in the Spirit:

 “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”(2Thes. 2:1-4)

     Now we foresee the Lord Jesus Christ that shall appear to destroy the Antichrist to revenge for the people of God and his children. At this time the door of heaven shall be opened once again; Apostle John testified of this scene:

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.      Prophet Isaiah also had testified of the scene of Revelation 19 before ahead of the main passage:

“Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.”(Isa. 63:1-4)

     In the main passage, prophet Isaiah testified of what God had prepared for them that wait for him when he appears to revenge of the enemies for the people of God. Since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen. This had never happened before, or in the future at all… And there will be no one that could avoid the Day of Judgment not understanding this day. Prophet testified of the day of vengeance that shall happen dramatically when all nations attack Israel at Armageddon:

“Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.”(Zech. 14:1-3)

     Yea! This day shall be the Day of Judgment for the nations in the world, but day of beginning blessing for them that wait for the Lord Jesus Christ. This day cannot be known for anyone but them that wait for the Lord. This day has been revealed only for them that are converted to the Lord, and believe on the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Apostle Paul testified of the prophecy of prophet Isaiah in the Spirit:

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.”(1Cor. 2:9-16)

     Apostle Peter encouraged the saints about what kind of life style to be made in the midst of waiting for the Lord:

“But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified…..   ¹⁹Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.”(1Pet. 4:7-14,19)

     Are you a natural biological man? Or a spiritual man that is born again through the Spirit of God. Today is the day of grace to open the eye through repentance in the Holy Ghost to see the things that has been prepared by God to live in the hope of the Lord. Sooner or later, the Rapture shall be happening; the door of grace shall not be opened again when the church of God disappears from this earth. What about looking forward the eternal promise not putting the hope in the corruptible things? Amen! Hallelujah!
