금주의 묵상: 시편 24:1-10

본문: 시편 8:1-9

제목: 사람이 무엇이기에?.

     시편 기자는 사람이 존귀한 존재라고 증거하면서, “사람이 존귀할지라도 오래 살지 못하니 멸망하는 짐승들과 같도다….. 사람이 존귀에 처해 있어도 깨닫지 못하면 멸망하는 짐승들과 같도다.”(시 49:12, 20)라고 증거했다. 다시 말해서 하나님께서 사람을 지으실 때, 이 세상 만물 가운데서 가장 존귀한 존재로 지으셨다는 것이다. 성삼위 하나님께서 사람을 만드실 때에 “우리의 형상대로 우리의 모습을 따라 사람을 만들자. 그리하여 그들로 바다의 고기와 공중의 새와 가축과 모든 땅과 땅 위를 기어다니는 모든 기는 것을 다스리게 하자.”(창 1:26)고 말씀하셨다. 이렇게 말씀하신 후에 주 하나님께서 땅의 흙으로 사람을 지으시고 그의 콧구멍에다 생명의 호흡을 불어넣으시니 사람이 살아있는 혼이 되었다 (창 2:7) 하나님께서 아버지와 말씀과 성령, 세 분의 신격이 한 분으로 나타나신 것처럼, 사람도 하나님의 존귀함을 따라, 영, 혼, 몸, 셋이 하나를 이룬 존귀한 존재가 되게 하시고 하나님께서 이 땅에 창조하신 만물들을 다스리는 왕으로 임명하셨던 것이다. 사람의 모습이 하나님의 모습인 것이다. 하나님이 사람으로 나타나신 예수님은 우리와 동일한 사람의 모습이 아니던가? 사쳔 년 전에 하나님께서는 두 천사들과 함께 사람의 모습으로 아브라함을 방문하셔서 아브라함과 대화를 나무시면서 음식을 잡수신 적도 있었다 (창 18:1-33)

       뿐만 아니라, 하나님께서는 자신의 능력과 신성을 나타내시기 위하여 그분께서 창조하신 창조물 안에 그분에 속한 보이지 않는 것들을 분명히 보여지게 하셨고 심지어는 그분의 영원한 능력과 신격까지도 만들어진 것들에 의해 알려지게 하셨기 때문에 아무도 하나님을 몰랐다고 변명할 수 없다고 사도 바울이 증거했다 (롬 1:19, 20) 하나님께서 창조하신 창조물 가운데 사람을 위시해서 셋이 하나로 조화 가운데 운행하는 것들을 보여주신 것이다. 예를 들어 세 음으로 된 협화음이라든가, 물이 하나인데 세 원소로 구성되어 있다든가, 가장 작은 물질 단위인 원소도 양자, 전자, 중성자 세 가지로 이루어지며, 가정도 아버지, 어머니, 그리고 자녀들 셋으로 구성되어 있는 등등을 들 수 있을 것이다.

     본문 말씀을 통하여 우리는 하나님께서 사람을 만드실 때, 천사들보다 조금 낮게 지으셨지만 이 땅에서 영화와 존귀로 관을 씌우셨음을 볼 수 있는 바, 이는 사람을 이 지구상에 창조된 만물들을 다스리는 통치자로 삼으신 것을 알 수 있다. 본문 말씀은 사람이 범죄하기 전에 첫 사람 아담이 왕관을 쓰고 모든 양과 수소들과 짐승들과 공중의 새와 바다의 물고기와 해로를 다니는 모든 것들을 다스리도록 하셨던 에덴 동산의 모습을 볼 수 있는 것이다. 그 당시 에덴에는 창조주 하나님의 이름이 온 땅에 뛰어나신 이름이었다.

     그러나, 본문 2절에 나오는 원수 때문에 죄가 에덴에 들어와서 아담은 그의 통치권을 원수 마귀에게 넘겨주어야 했던 것이다. 그러나 하나님께서는 그 즉시로 다시 예수 그리스도를 통하여 하나님의 공의의 법에 따라 죄와 사망의 권세를 가진 마귀를 멸하시고 다시 자신이 창조하신 사람으로 하여금 이 땅의 통치권을 회복하시도록 계획하셨던 것이다. 이것이 이른바 그리스도의 복음인 것이다. 다시 말해서 그리스도이신 예수께서 세상 죄를 위하여 죽으심으로써 세상 죄를 제거하심으로써 이 땅으로부터 죄와 사망을 제거하시기로 게획하시고 이 계획을 알리시기 위하여 성령께서 여전히 예수 그리스도의 죽으심과 부활하심, 그리고 그분께서 다시 오셔서 아담이 상실한 통치권을 회복하실 것을 증거하고 있는 것이다.

        본문에 “주의 원수들로 인하여 아기들과 젖먹이들의 입에 힘을 두심은 원수와 복수자를 잠잠케 하려 하심이니이다.”(2절)라는 말씀대로 주님께서 그리스도를 전파하고 돌아온 칠십인 제자들이 돌아와서 “주여, 주의 이름을 대면 마귀들까지도 우리에게 복종하더이다.”라고 말했을 때, 주님께서 그들에게 “사탄이 하늘에서 번개처럼 떨어지는 것을 내가 보았노라. 보라, 내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 권세를 제어할 권세를 주노니 아무 것도 너희를 결코 해치지 못할 것이라. 그러나 영들이 너희에게 복종하는 이것으로 기뻐하지 말고, 오히려 너의 이름이 하늘에 기록된 것으로 기뻐하라.”고 말씀하셨다. 또한 바로 그 시간에 에수께서는 영으로 기뻐하시며 “오 하늘과 땅의 주이신 아버지시여 이런 일을 지혜롭고 슬기로운 사람들에게는 숨기시고 어린 아기들에게는 나태내신 것을 감사하나이다. 그러하옵니다. 아버지시여, 이는 그렇게 하시는 것이 아버지 보시기에 선함이니이다. 내 아버지께서 모든 것을 내게 주셨으니, 아버지 외에는 누가 아들인지 아무도 모르며, 또 아들과 아들이 아버지를 게시하고자 하는 자 외에는 누가 아버지인지 아무도 모르나이다.”라고 말씀하셨다 (눅 10:17-22).

      그렇다! 지금 이 땅을 아무리 둘러보아도 에덴 동산에서 하나님께서 사람에게 주신 영광을 찾아볼 수도 없고 온 땅에 주늼의 이름이 뛰어난 것도 들을 수 없으며 오히려 주님의 이름을 욕되게 하는 온갖 죄악으로 가득차 있는 것을 본다. 또한 사람도 존귀하게 창조되었건만 오래 살지 못하니 멸망하는 짐슬들과 같이 되었으며, 깨닫지 못하게 되어 멸망하는 짐승들과 같이 되었다. 모든 만물은 말씀이셨던 예수 그리스도에 의하여 창조되되 하늘에 있는 것들과 땅에 있는 것들과 보이는 것들과 보이지 않는 것들과 보좌들이나 주권들이나 정시들이나 권세들이나 만믈이 그에 의하여 또 그를 위하여 창조되었기에(골 1:16), 우리가 살고 있는 이 땅은 예수 그리스도의 소유물인 것이다. 그러나 인간의 죄 때문에 하나님의 공의의 법에 의하여 지난 육천 년 동안 마귀가 통치하는 것을 허락하셨던 것이다. 마침내 예수 그리스도께서는 이 땅에 이천 년 전에 나타나셨다. 그분께서 초림하신 목적에 대하여, “자녀들이 피와 살에 참여하는 자인 것같이 그 역시 같은 모양으로 동일한 것에 참여하신 것은 자신의 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 가진 자, 곧 마귀를 멸망시키며 또 죽음을 두려워하므로 평생을 노예로 속박되어 있는 자들을 놓아주시려 함이니라.”(히 2:14, 15) “죄를 짓는 자는 마귀에게 속하나니 이는 마귀가 처음부터 죄를 짓기 때문이라. 이 목적으로 하나님의 아들이 나타나셨으니, 곧 머귀의 일들을 멸하시려는 것이라.”(요일 3:8)고 성경은 말씀하신다.

     하나님이며 창조주이신 예수께서는 아담의 모습으로 나타나셔서, 첫 사람 아담이 빼앗긴 이 땅을 다시 찾으시기 위하여 하나님의 공의의 법에 따라 십자기에 죽으심으로써 죄를 멸하고, 부활하심으로써 사망을 이기신 것이다. 동시에 부활 하셨을 때 죄와 사망의 권세를 가진 마귀를 심판하신 것이다. 누구든지 이 예수 그리스도를 믿어 영접한 사람들에게는 이제는 아담의 자손이 아닌 하나님의 자녀들로서 하나님의 가족이 되는 축복을 받게 하셨다. 또한, 마지막 아담(고전 15:45)이신 예수 그리스도께서 다시 오셔서 마귀와 이 땅을 심판 하신 후에 새 하늘과 새 땅을 조성하실 때에 옛날 아담이 있었던 동일한 곳에서 다윗의 보좌에 앉아서 영원토록 통치하시게 될 것이다. 또한 이때에 휴거되었던 그리스도의 신부들이 주님과 함께 이 땅에 내려와서 옛날 아담의 아내 이브처럼 그분과 함께 통치하는 영광을 누리도록 하신 것이다. 이에 대하여 사도바울은 “자녀이면 또한 상속자들이니 하나님의 상속자들이요, 그리스도와 함께 한 공동 상속자들이니 우리가 그와 함께 고난을 받은 것은 함께 영광도 받게 하려 함이니라. 이는 현재의 고난들이 우리에게 나타나게 될 영광에 감히 비교되지 못한다고 내가 여기기 때문이라.”(롬 8:17, 18) 이런 일들을 세상의 지혜롭고 슬기로운 자들에게는 숨기시고 어린아기들과 같은 겸손한 자들에게 깨닫게 하셔서 지금 이 순간에도 그들을 통하여 그리스도의 복음이 전파되고 있으며 그때 마다 공중의 권세 잡은 자 마귀들이 에수 그리스도의 이름 앞에 항복하는 것을 보고 있는것이다. 그러므로 이 땅에서 그리스도를 전파하는 종들에게 영화와 관을 씌워주셔서 예수 그리스도와 함께 통치하는 보상을 주실 것이다. 어떤 사람은 열 고을, 어떤 사람은 다섯 고을을 다스리게 될 것이다(눅 19:17,19). 주님의 말씀을 다시 한 번 기억하자! “진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 너희가 회심하지 아니하고, 또 어린 아이들과 같이 되지 아니하면 결코 천국에 들어가지 못하리라.”(마 18:3) 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 24; 1-10

Main scripture: Psalms 8:1-9

Subject: What is man?

       Psalmist testified of man that is in honor saying, “Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish……Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.”(Ps. 49:12, 20)  In other word, man was created most honorably by God of all creatures. God of Trinity said, when he made man, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”(Gen. 1:26) Thereafter, the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul (Gen. 2:7)

     As God is manifested in one, even though he has three Godhead s that are  the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, man became a honorable being consisting of spirit, soul and body according to the honor of God; and God appointed the man as a king to subdue all the creation in the earth. In other word, man became the shadow of God. God became a man in the name of Jesus; isn’t he exactly same as man?  God visited Abraham with his two angels four thousand years ago; and he spoke with Abraham, and ate with him (Gen. 18:1-33)

       To manifest his power and divinity, God revealed invisible things belong to him in his creation; even his eternal power and Godhead are manifested by the things made by him; so that they are without excuse, testified by Apostle Paul. (Rom. 1:19, 20). God shows the mystery of trinity through his creation including man; for instances, three tones of harmony, water consisting three atoms, atom consisting of proton, electron, and neutron, even household consisting of father, mother, and children, and so on.

       In the main passage, we understand, man was made a little lower than the angels, but he has been crowned with glory and honour that made him the ruler of all the creation made by God. The main passage shows us the picture of the Mount Eden where the man was ruling over the works of God’s hand such as all sheep and oxen, and the beasts of the field; the fowls of the air, and fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the seas. At that time, the name of the LORD God was excellent in the earth.

      But, in verse 2, we find the enemy that is the Devil that infiltrated into the Eden to bring forth sin into the Eden; Adam had to give up his dominion over the Devil because he became the slave of the Devil because of his sin according to the law of righteousness of God. Thereafter, God made a plan to destroy the Devil that has the power of sin and death through Jesus Christ according to the law of righteousness of God so that dominion of man may be restored; this is called as the gospel of Christ (Rom. 1:16). In other word, Christ Jesus died for the sin of the world to take away the sin of the world, so that the Holy Ghost came to the world has been testifying of the death of Christ and his resurrection.

         As said in the main passage, “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.”(V2), Jesus said to the seventy disciples returning from evangelism with joy, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.   ¹⁹Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven, when they reported to him saying, “Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.” In that hour, Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, “I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.”(Luke 10:17-22)

       Yea! We cannot find out the glory given to man by God in the Mount Eden in any place in the earth, and even the excellent name of the Lord; rather the world is filled with all kinds of wickedness ruining the name of the Lord. Ma has become as the beasts that perish, even though he was made in honor.   ¹⁶For by him that was the Word, were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him (Col. 1:16). This is the reason why the earth belongs to him. But God has allowed the Devil to rule over the earth for six thousand years according to the law of righteousness of God because the sin of man.

      Finally, Jesus Christ appeared in the earth two thousand years ago. The scriptures testify of his appearing: ^“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. “(Heb. 2:14, 15)  ^“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”(1John 3:8)

       Jesus that is God as well as the Creator appeared as Adam died on the cross to destroy the sin, and rose again the third day to overcome the death; at the same time he judged the Devil when he resurrected from the dead. Whosoever receives Jesus Christ by faith is blessed to be the children of God joining in household of God delivered from the blood of Adam.  When Jesus Christ that is to be the last Adam comes back to the earth to judge the Devil and the earth and to restore the New heaven and the New earth, he shall reign forever sitting at the throne of David at the same place where Adam was. At this time, the Bride of Christ that was translated to heaven shall descend with him to the earth to reign with him as Eve that reigned with Adam. Apostle Paul testified of this hope:   “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”(Rom. 8:17, 18)

         God has hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and revealed them unto babes that are humble before the Lord; even now the gospel of Christ is still preached by them; and they still see the Devil subject unto them through the name of Jesus Christ. Therefore Jesus Christ shall crown them with glory to have them reign with him. Some of them shall reign ten cities; some others shall five cities as well (Luke 19:17, 19). Let us remember the word of Jesus Christ again!

“Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”(Matt. 18:3) Amen! Hallelujah!
