금주의 묵상: 시편 2:1-12

본문: 다니엘 2:31-49

제목: 하늘과 땅에 이루어질 주 예수 그리스도의 왕국을 보는가?

       하나님께서는 범죄한 이스라엘 백성들을 징계하시기 위하여 바벨론의 느무갓네살 왕을 일으키셔서 예루살렘 성과 성전을 모두 불태워버리셨다. 또한 가난한 자나 천한 자들을 제외하고 이스라엘 백성들을 처참하게 바벨론의 종이 되게 하시려고 포로로 끌려가게 하셨다. 이때부터 이 땅에 하나님께서 통치하시던 이스라엘은 사라지고 이방인의 때가 시작되었다. 또한 하나님께서는 이방인의 때가 찰 때까지 예루살렘이 이방인들에 의해 짓밟히게 하셨다(눅 21:24)

     하나님께서는 당시 포로로 잡혀갔던 선지자 다니엘에게 지혜와 명철을 주셔서 장차 이루실 하나님의 뜻을 깨닫게 하신 것이다. 이 일을 이루시기 위하여 느부갓네살에게 무서운 꿈을 꾸게 하셔서 그의 영이 번민케 하셨고 그가 잠을 이루지 못할 정도로 고통을 주셨다. 하나님께서 주신 꿈을 마귀의 영이 들어있는 어떤 마술사들이 알 수 있겠는가? 오직 하나님의 영이 있는 다니엘 한 사람밖에 없었던 것이다. 다니엘은 느부겟네살 왕에게 "왕이 물으신 은밀한 것을 현자들이나 점성가들이나 마술사들이나 점쟁이들은 왕께 알려 드릴 수 없으며 오직 하늘에 계신 하나님 뿐이시니, 그분은 은밀한 것을 나타내시며 그분이 느부갓네살 왕에게 훗날들에 있을 것을 알게 하시나이다. 왕의 꿈과 왕의 침상에서 머리에 떠오른 환상은 이러하나이다."(단 2:27,28)라고 하나님께서만 꿈과 해석을 알려줄 수 있음을 먼저 말하면서 하나님께 영광을 돌렸다.

       어느누가 다른 사람이 꾼 꿈과 환상이 어떤 것인지 알 수 있겠는가? 하나님 한 분밖에 없는 것은 당연한 것이다. 하나님께서는 느부갓네살이 꾸었던 꿈을 기억하지 못하게 하심으로써 마술사들이 엉터리 해석을 하지 못하도록 하셨던 것이다. 또한 하나님께서는 이방인의 때가 시작되는 BC606년부터 시작하여 앞으로 조만간 있을 휴거 사건 직후에 이 땅에 임할 약 7년 동안의 대환란과 적그리스도의 통치 그리고 재림하시는 주 예수 그리스도와 그에 의하여 멸망하여  불못으로 떨어지고 주 예수 그리스도께서 이스라엘 예루살렘에 그분의 천년왕국을 세우실 때까지 이천 수백년 동안 이 세상에 나타날 이방 왕국들에 대하여 아주 세밀하게 보여주셨던 것이다. 또한 세계 역사는 다니엘이 해석한 그대로 이루어져 왔고 또한 앞으로도 이루어질 것이다.

       첫 번째 금 머리는 바벨론의 느부갓네살이며 은으로 된 가슴과 양 팔은 메데의 다리오왕과 페르시아의 코레스왕이요, 놋으로 된 배와 넓적다리는 그리스의 알렉산더왕, 그리고 철로 된 두 다리는 로마의 씨저로서 동 로마와 서 로마로 갈라질 것까지 보여 주셨다. 또한 일부는 철이요 일부는 진흙인 열 발가락은 앞으로 대환란 때에 적그리스도와 함께 통치할  열 왕을 말씀하신 것이다. 열 발가락에 대하여  사도 요한은 주님께서 나타나셔서 보여주신 것에 대하여 정확하게 증거했다: "내가 바닷가 모래 위에 서서 보니, 한 짐승이 바다에서 올라오는데, 일곱 머리와 열뿔을 가졌더라. 그 뿔들에는 열 개의 왕관이 있고 그 머리들에는 하나님을 모독하는 이름이 있더라."(계 13:1)

     다니엘은 계속해서 느부갓네살이 꾼 꿈에 대하여 세세하게 알려주고 있다: "왕께서 보셨는데, 손으로 다듬지 아니한 돌이 철과 진흙으로 된 그 형상의 발을 쳐서 산산이 부서져서 여름 타작마당의 쭉정이같이 되어 바람에 날려 사라져 간 곳이 없어졌으며, 그 형상을 친 돌은 태산을 이루어서 온 세상을 가득 채웠나이다."(단 2:34, 35)   다니엘은 계속해서 이 내용에 대하여 해석하고 있다: "이들 왕들(열 왕)의 때에 하늘의 하나님께서 결코 멸망하지 않는 한 왕국을 세우시리니, 그 왕국은 다른 백성에게 넘겨지지 않을 것이요, 도리어 그 왕국이 모든 왕국들을 쳐부수고 멸하여 영원히 설 것이니이다. 왕께서 사람의 손을 대지 않고 산에서 떨어져 나간 돌과, 그 돌이 철과 놋과 진흙과 은과 금을 산산조각을 내는 것을 보신 것은 위대하신 하나님께서 이후에 있을 일을 왕께 알게 하신 것이니, 그 꿈은 분명하고 그 해석은 확실하나이다."(단 2:44,45)

     다니엘은 이미 역사 속에서 사라져버린 바벨론과 메대와 페르시아, 그리스와 로마 제국을 이미 본 사람들로 하여금 이제 적그리스도와 함께  온 세계를 통치할 열왕들이 언제 나타날지 모르는 이 마지막 때에 살고 있는 모든 사람들에게 앞으로 임할 천년왕국에 대하여 확실하게 예언하고 있는 것이다. 그러므로 앞으로 만왕의 왕이시요 만주의 주로서 사람의 손을 대지 않고 하늘로부터 내려오실 산 돌이신 주 예수 그리스도(벧전 2:4,5)에 대하여 확실하게 증거하고 있는 것이다.

        침례인 요한은 예수께서 이 세상에 나타나시기 전에 광야에서 외쳤다: "너희는 회개하라. 천국이 가까이 왔느니라."(마 3;2)  또한 예수께서도 침례인 요한이 감옥에 갇힌 후 그때부터 "회개하라. 천국이 가까이 왔느니라."(마 4:17)고 전파하신 것이다. 이 말씀은 선지자 다니엘을 통하여 미리 예언하신 주 예수 그리스도의 왕국에 들어가기 위하여 회개하라고 유대인들을 향하여 외치신 것이다. 그 당시 철 왕국인 로마가 통치하던 때였다. 예수께서는 자신을 믿은 제자들에게 "아버지의 왕국이 임하시오며, 아버지의 뜻이 하늘에서와 같이 땅에서도 이루어지이다."(마 6:10)라고 기도할 것을 말씀하신 것이다.

       다니엘로부터 꿈과 해석을 들은 느부갓네살의 반응이 어떠했는가? 느부깃네살은 엎드려 다니엘에게 경배하고, 그들로 예물과 향품을 그에게 바치도록 명령하였으며 뿐만 아니라 다니엘 앞에서 이 모든 은밀한 일을 나타내신 것을 고백했다: "네가 이 은밀한 일을 나타낼 수 있음을 보니 너희 하나님은 신들 중의 신이시요 왕들 중의 주시며 은밀한 일을 나타내시는 분이심이 분명하도다."(단 2:47) 그 당시 온 세상을 통치하던 왕중의 왕이었던 느부갓네살이 종으로 붙잡혀 온 다니엘에게 엎드려 경배할 수밖에 없었던 것은, 다니엘을 통하여 나타나신 하나님의 지혜와 능력 앞에 정신을 잃어버린 것이 아니겠는가?

      오늘날 느부갓네살에게 보여주신 꿈이 거의 대부분 이루어진 것을 역사를 통해 알고 있는 현 세상에 살고 있는 사람들 가운데 느부겟네살 왕이 다니엘에게 행했던 것처럼 이 하나님의 예언의 말씀을 듣고 하나님께 경배하는 사람들이 과연 몇이나 될까? 세상 사람들은 차치하고서 주의 종들을 포함하여 자신이 그리스도인이라고 자처하는 사람들 가운데 과연 몇이나 이 하나님의 말씀 앞에 겸손하게 경배하고 있는가? 미국에 있는 목회자들 중 90퍼센트가 넘는 주의 종들까지도 주 예수 그리스도의 천년왕국을 도무지 믿지 않으면서 주님의 재림과 지옥의 존재까지도 믿지 않는 시대가 되었으니 다니엘 앞에 엎드려 경배했던 그 당시 가장 포악한 독재자까지도 인정한 하나님의 예언의 말씀을 부인하고 있으니 주님께서 산 돌이 되셔서 이 땅에 그분의 왕국을 세우시려고 다시 오실 때,  온 세상의 왕국들을 쳐부수고 멸하여 여름 타작 마당의 쭉정이같이 되게하셔서 어 바람에 날려 사라져 간 곳이 없게 하실 것이며 주님과 함께 이 땅에 나타날 산돌들인 거듭난 하나님의 자녀들과 회개한 하나님의 백성들로 태산을 이루어 온 세상을 가득 채울 일만 남아 있는 것이다. 사도 요한은 이 마지막 심판의 광경을 보고 증거했다: "또 하늘에 있는 군대들(거듭난 그리스도의 신부들)이 희고 정결한 세마포를 입고 흰말들을 타고 그를 따르더라. 그의 입에서는 예리한 칼(말씀의 칼)이 나와서 그것으로 민족들을 칠 것이며, 전능하신 하나님의 포도즙틀을 밟으실 것이라. 또 그의 옷과 넓적다리에 이름이 기록되어 있는데 '만왕의 왕, 또 만주의 주'라 하였더라. 또 내가 보니, 한 천사가 해에 서 있는데 그가 큰 음성으로 외쳐 하늘 한 가운데로 날아가는 모든 새들에게 말하기를 '와서 위대하신 하나님의 만찬에 다 모여 왕들의 살과 용사들의 살과 말들과 그 위에 탄 자들의 살과 자유인이나 종이나 작은 자나 큰 자나 할 것 없이 모든 자의 살을 먹으라.'고 하니라. 또 내가 보니, 그 짐승과 땅의 모든 왕들과 그들의 군대가 그 말 탄 분과 그의 군대에 대적하여 전쟁을 하려고 다 함께 모였더라. 그러나 그 짐승(이 세상의 마지막 통치자 적그리스도)이 잡히고 짐승 앞에서 기적들을 행하던 거짓 선지자도 그와 함께 잡혔으니 그는 짐승과 더불어 그 짐승의 표를 받은 자들과 그의 형상에 경배한 자들을 속이던 자라, 이 둘이 유황으로 타오르는 불못에 산 채로 던져지더라. 그리고 그 남은 자들은 말 위에 앉으신 분의 칼, 즉 그의 입에서 나오는 칼로 살해되니 모든 새들이 그들의 살로 배를 채우더라."(계 19:14-21)

       뿐만 아니라 선지자였던 다윗왕도 이에 대하여 분명하게 에언했다: "'내가 나의 거룩한 산 시온(예루살렘) 위에 내 왕을 세웠도다.' 하시리라. 내가 칙령을 선포하리라. 주께서 내게 말씀하시기를 '너는 내 아들이라. 오늘 내가 너를 낳았노라. 내게 구하라. 그러면 내가 이방을 네 유업으로, 땅의 맨 끝을 네 소유로 주리라. 네가 그들을 철장으로 깨뜨릴 것이며, 토기장이의 질그릇같이 산산이 부수리라.'하였도다. 그라므로 오 너희 왕들아 이제 현명해지라(느부갓네살 왕처럼). 너희 땅의 재판관들아, 교훈을 받을 지어다. 두려움으로 주를 섬기고 떨림으로 즐거워하라. 그 아들에게 입맞추라. 그렇지 않으면 그가 노하실 것이요, 그가 조금만 격분하셔도 너희가 그 길에서 망하리라. 그를 신뢰하는 모든 사람은 복이 있도다."(시 2:6-12)

       이로 인하여 조만간, 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주로서 그분을 믿지 않는 악한 세상을 심판하시기 위해 오실 분께서 "회개하라. 천국(천년왕국)이 기까웠느니라(마 4;17). 그 때가 찼고 하나님의 나라가 가까이 왔도다. 너희는 회개하고 복음을 믿으라 (막 1:15). 사람이 거듭나지 아니하면 하나님의 나라(왕국)를 볼 수 없으니라. 사람이 물과 성령으로 나지 아니하면 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어갈 수 없느니라 (요 3:3,5)."고 말씀하신 것이다.

     오늘 단 한 사람이라도이 예언의 말씀을 깨닫고 주 예수 그리스도께서 우리의 죄들 때문에 죽으시고 장사되셨다가 셋째 날에 부활하신 사실을 믿지 않은 것을 회개하고 그분을 전심으로 믿어 영접하여 성령으로 거듭나서 앞으로 임할 하나님의 왕국에 들어갈 준비를 하는 축복의 날이 되기를 기원하는 것이다. 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 2:1-12

Subject: Are you seeing the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven and earth?

         The LORD God raised the king of Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon to chasten Israel that sinned against God; and let him destroy the city of Jerusalem, and burn the temple of God. Except the poor and low level of people, all the people of Israel became the captive of Babylon to be their slaves. Since then, the kingdom of Israel reigned by God disappeared , and the times of the Gentiles began. God allowed Jerusalem be trodden down of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled (Luke 21:24)

       God gave wisdom and understanding unto Prophet Daniel in his captivity in Babylon so that he could understood the will of God to be done in the future. To do his will, God made king Nebuchadnezzar dream a dreadful dreams, wherewith his spirit  was troubled, and his sleep brake from him. How the dreams given by God could be interpreted by the magicians that had the spirit of the devil? There was only one Daniel that could give the king the interpretation of the dreams. Daniel glorified God saying,  " The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king; But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;"(Dan. 2:27, 28)

       Who else could see the dreams of others and visions that they saw? Only God himself it is possible. God erased the dreams of Nebuchadnezzar from his mind so that he could not remember them to keep his magicians making wrong interpretation. God showed Daniel in details of  the Great Tribulation, and the ruler Antichrist, and the second coming the Lord Jesus Christ to cast the Antichrist into the lake of fire, and the Millennium of Christ, and the kingdoms in the earth until his will be done. As shown to Daniel, the world history has been achieved as Daniel prophesied, and it shall be done also even in the future.

      The first golden head is the king Nebuchadnezzar; the two silver arms and breast are king Darius of Media and the king Cyrus of Persia; the belly and thighs of brass is the king Alexander the Great of Greece; and legs of iron is the king Cesar of Roman Empire; and ten toes of iron and clay are ten king to reign with the Antichrist in the Great Tribulation. Of the ten toes, Apostle John testified in details as the Lord Jesus showed unto him: "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy."(Rev. 13:1)

       Daniel went on to interpret the dreams of king Nebuchadnezzar saying, "Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth."(Dan. 2:27, 28)

He continued to say: "And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure."(Dan. 2:44, 45)

       Daniel prophesied of the Millennium of the Lord Jesus Christ coming unto them that live in the end time very clearly when sooner or later the ten king to rule with the Antichrist showing Babylon, Media and Persia and Greece and Roman Empire that disappeared behind the history. he testified of the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and the Lord of the Lord  coming as the lively stone (1Pet. 2:4,5) without hands from heaven.

       John the Baptist cried out in the wilderness, before Jesus revealed himself in the world: "And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."(Matt. 3:2) Jesus also preached after John the Baptist was put in jail, "Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."(Matt. 4:17)

Jesus asked the Jew to repent to enter into the kingdom of heaven prophesied by Daniel. At that time, the Jews were under rule of Roman Empire of iron. This the reason why Jesus asked his disciples to pray, "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."(Matt. 6:10)

 How the king Nebuchadnezzar responded to Daniel for his interpretation of the dreams? He fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him. And he confessed Daniel that his God is a revealer of secrets saying, "Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret."(Dan. 2:47) Even though Daniel was a captive slave, but king Nebuchadnezzar, a king of kings at that time ruling whole world knelt down to worship Daniel, for he lost his mind before the wisdom and the power of God manifested through Daniel.

       Human history has revealed that most of  the dreams of Nebuchadnezzar has been realized. How many people are willing to worship God upon hearing the word of prophesy as Nebuchadnezzar did Daniel? Besides nonbelievers, how many so called Christians including ministers of God are worshipping humbly before the words of God? It is said that more than 90 percent of servants of God in America not believe in the Millennium of Jesus Christ, and his Second Coming to the earth, and even existence of the hell, but one of cruel Tyranny in Babylon believed the words of God spoken by Daniel, his slave. It may be the right time when the Lord Jesus Christ come again to judge the word as a lively stone to build his kingdom, he will destroy the kingdoms of the world like the chaff of the summer threshing floors so that the wind carry them away. On the other hands, born-again believers as well as the people of Israel that repent upon his coming shall fill the whole earth as lively stones as Jesus Christ. Apostle John testified of the final judgment:

"And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND Lord OF LORDS. And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh."(Rev. 19:14-21)

       King David as a prophet prophesied about this:

 "Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him."(Ps. 2:6-12)

       This is the reason why Jesus spoke unto the Jew to prepare the way for coming as the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords in the future:

"Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand(Matt. 4:17).. The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel(Mark 1:15).. Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God(John 3;3)… Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God (John 3:5)"

       I pray even for only one person understand this word of prophesy, and repent, and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ in all the heart that died for our sins and buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures, and receive the Holy Ghost by faith to be blessed to enter into the kingdom of God. Amen! Hallelujah!
