금주의 묵상: 솔로몬의 노래 2:1-17

본문: 베드로전서 1:1-25

제목: 마지막 때에 그리스도의 신부들에게게 주시는 메세지

      히브리서, 야고보서, 베드로 전,후서, 요한 1,2,3서, 유다서 및 요한 계시록은 특별히 고난 가운데 있는 그리스도인들에게 주시는 메세지이면서 동시에 주 예수 그리스도께서 오시기 직전에 그분의 나타나심을 기다리는 그의 신부들에게 주시는 격려와 당부의 말씀들이 들어있는 것이다. 하나님의 말씀은 유대인, 이방인 그리고 하나님의 교회에 주시는 말씀들을 잘 나누어서 들어야 하며 동시에 역사적으로, 영적으로 그리고 교리적으로 올바로 나누어 구분해서 공부(딤후 2:15)하지 않으면 깨달음에 혼란이 있게 되는 것이다.

       예수 그리스도의 사도 베드로는 그 당시 여러지역에 흩어져서 고난과 핍박을 받고 있는 거듭난 성도들에게 편지하고 있다. 또한 동시에 오늘날 우리들에게 주시는 성령님의 메세지이다. 다시 말해서 예수 그리스도의 피가 세상의 모든 죄를 제거하신 것을 믿음으로써 그의 피가 양심에 뿌려져서 양심을 깨끗하게 하셔서(히 9:14) 그리스도 안으로 침례받아(롬 6:3) 하나님의 자녀로 택함을 받은 모든 자들에게 주시는 메세지인 것이다.

       주 예수 그리스도께서 우리의 모든 죄들을 위하여 십자가에서 죽으시고 장사되셨다가 셋째 날에 부활하신 복음을 믿는 사람들마다 성령으로 거듭나게 하셔서 이제는 하나님의 자녀이며 그분의 상속자들로서 하늘에 썩지 않고 더럽지 않고 쇠잔하지 않는 유업을 간직해 주셨으며 또한 또한 마지막 때에 주 예수 그리스도께서 오실 때에 죽을 몸이 죽지 않고 썩지 않는 몸을 입을 몸의 구속의 날을 믿고 바라는 믿음 안에서  하나님의 능력으로 보호받고 있는 바 그 어느 누구도 믿음을 빼앗아갈 수 없다는 것이다. 사도 바울도 이에 대하여, "그분 안에서 너희도 너희도 진리의 말씀, 곧 너희 구원의 복음을 듣고서 그분을 신뢰하였으니 또, 너희가 그분을 믿고서 약속의 그 성령으로 인침을 받은 것이니라. 이는 값주고 사신 소유를 구속하기까지 우리의 유업의 보증이 되사 그의 영광을 찬양하게 하려 하심이라."(엡 1:13, 14)고 에베소 교회에 있는 신실한 성도들을 격려했다. 뿐만 아니라 로마에 있는 성도들에게도, "자녀이면 또한 상속자들이니 하나님의 상속자들이요, 그리스도와 함께한 공동 상속자들이니 그와 함께 고난을 받은 것은 함께 영광도 받게 하려 함이니라. 이는 현재의 고난들이 우리에게 나타나게 될 영광에 감히 비교되지 못한다고 내가 여기기 때문이라."(롬 8:17,18)고 격려했다.

     또한 사도 베드로는 여러 지역에 흩어져서 고난 받는 성도들에게 그들이 받고 있는 고난을 잠시 슬퍼할 수밖에 없지만 그것을 기뻐해야 할 이유에 대하여 그것이 세상에서 제일 귀하게 여기는 급보다도 훨씬 귀한 하늘에 유업으로 바뀜으로써 휴거의 날에 그리스도의 심판석에서 칭찬과 존귀와 영광을 받게 될 것이라고 증거하고 있다. 예수께서도 육신으로 계실 때에 제자들에게, "나로 인하여 사람들이 너희를 욕하고 박해하고, 거짓으로 꾸며 갖은 악한 말로 너희를 거슬러 말할 때에 너희에게 복이 있나니, 기뻐하고 크게 즐거워하라. 이는 하늘에서 너희의 상이 큼이라. 너희 앞서 있었던 선지자들도 그들이 이같이 박해하였느니라."(마 5:11,12)고 말씀하셨다.

       또한 하나님께서는 창세 전에 지상에서 많은 하나님의 아들들을 입양하실 계획을 세우시고 그 계획을 이루시기 위하여 선지자들에게 그의 영을 주셨다. 또한 그들로 하여금 말씀으로 계셨던 창조주 하나님이셨던 그분의 아들을 그리스도(메시야)로 이 땅에 보내셔서 고난을 받게 하시고 그분께서 고난을 받으시고 죄인들을 위하여 죽으신 후 셋째 날에 부활하게 하심으로써 그분을 믿는 사람들의 혼을 구원하시어 하나님의 아들들로 입양하시고 그들을  통하여 영광을 받으시고 마침내 그들과 함께 이 땅에 오시어 영광스러운 왕국을 세우실 모든 일들에 관해 예언하게 하신 것이라고 증거하고 있다. 주 예수 그리스도께서 이 땅에 나타나실 때까지 사천 년 동안 얼마나 많은 선지자들이 박해 가운데 고난을 받고 죽어갔던가? 이 모든 일들이 우리같은 죄인을 구원하시기 위한 것이라니 이 크신 하나님의 사랑과 은혜를 깨닫는 자는 복 있을진저!

        이런 연유로 사도 베드로는 마지막 때에 살고 있는 그리스도의 신부들이 어떤 삶을 살다가 주님을 만날 것인가에 대하여 말씀하고 있다:

     첫째로, 육신의 허리가 아닌 생각의 허리를 동이고 깨어 정신을 차려 예수 그리스도께서 나타나실 때 우리에게 가져올 은혜를 끝까지 바라라는 것이다. 다시 말해서 첫 사랑을 잃어버리지 말라는 것이다. 예수께서 사도 요한에게 나타나셔서 에베소 교회에게 편지하라고 말씀하실 때에 한 가자 경고를 하셨다: "그러나 너를 책망할 것이 다소 있나니, 이는 네가 너의 첫 사랑을 저버린 것 때문이라. 그러므로 네가 어디서 떨어졌는지를 기억하고 회개하며, 너는 처음 일들을 행하라. 만일 그렇지 않고 회개하지 아니하면 내가 속히 너에게 와서 네 촛대를 그 자리에서 옮기리라."(계 2:4,5)

       둘째로, 거룩한 삶을 살라는 명령을 하고 있다. 거룩한 삶에 대하여 이전에 무지하던 때에 살았던 정욕을 따라 살지 말라는 메세지이다. 또한 그는 "내가 거룩하니, 너희도 거룩하라."는 구약의 말씀(레 11:44)을 상기시킨다. 그러면 어떻게 죄인들이 하나님처럼 거룩해질 수 있는가? 율법을 지켜서인가? 결코 아니다.  오직 거룩하게 되는 길은 하나님의 뜻에 따라 한 번 예수 그리스도의 몸을 드리심을 믿는 자들이 모든 죄들을 용서받아 성령을 받을 때 비로소 거룩하게 되는 것이다(히 10:10) 그러므로 거룩하게 된 거듭난 성도들은 이 거룩함을 삶 속에서 유지해야 하는 것이다. 사도 바울은 거룩함에 대하여 그것이 얼마나 중요한 것인지에 대하여 데살로니가 교회 성도들에게 당부했다: "하나님의 뜻은 이것이니, 곧 너희의 거룩함이니라. 너희는 음행을 삼가고 너희 각자가 거룩함과 존귀함으로 어떻게 자기 자신의 그릇을 소유하는가를 알며 하나님을 모르는 이방인들과 같이 색욕에 빠지지 말고…"(살전 4:3-5) 또한 갈라디아 교회 성도들에게도, "내가 이것을 말하노니 성령 안에서 행하라. 그리하면 육신의 정욕을 이루지 아니하리라. 육신은 성령을 거슬러 욕심을 부리며 성령은 육신을 거스르나니 이들은 서로 반목하여서 너희가 하고자 하는 것을 하지 못하게 하느니라. 너희가 성령의 인도하심을 받는다면 너희는 율법 아래 있지 아니하느니라."(갈 5:16-18)고 경고했다.  사도 요한도 거룩한 삶에 대하여, "세상도, 세상에 있는 것들도 사랑하지 말라. 누구든지 세상을 사랑하면 아버지를 사랑함이 그 안에 있지 아니하니 이는 세상에 있는 모든 것이 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 생의 자랑이요, 아버지께 속한 것이 아니라 세상에 속한 것이기 때문이라. 세상도, 세상의 정욕도 사라지지만 하나님의 뜻을 행하는 자는 영원히 거하느니라."(요일 2:15-17)고 경고했다.

       셋째로, 진정으로 하나님을 아바 아버지로 부른다면 아버지 왕국에 들어갈 때까지 이 세상에서 나그네 시절을 두려움 속에서 지내야 할 것에 대하여 죄와 사망과 저주와 지옥 안에 갇혀 있던 우리를 주 예수 그리스도께서 하나님의 피를 흘리셔서 값을 치르시고 우리들을 자유케하셨다는 사실을 잊지 말 것을 상기시키고 있는 것이다. 이에 대하여 사도 바울은 빌립보 교회 성도들에게 동일한 경고의 메세지를 주셨다: "그러므로 나의 사랑하는 자들아, 너희가 항상 복종했던 것처럼 내가 있을 때뿐만 아니라 내가 없는 지금도 더욱더 두려움과 떨림으로 너희 구원을 온전히 이루라. 이는 너희 안에서 역사하시는 분은 하나님이시니 그분의 선한 기쁘심에 따라 뜻을 두고 행하게 하려 하심이라."(빌 2:12,13)

      넷째로, 진리에 순종해야 함을 말씀했다. 그 이유에 대하여 우리의 구원받은 혼이 깨끗하게 되어 정결케 되는 길은 오직 성령을 통하여 진리의 말씀에 순종해한다는 것이다. 또한 혼들이 정결케 될 때에 거짓 없는 형제 사랑에 이르게 되며 이는 마음이 순결하게 되어 서로 뜨겁게 사랑할 수 있다는 메세지인 것이다.

       마지막으로, 성령으로 다시 태어나기 위해서는 하나님의 말씀으로 되는 바, 하나님께서 구원받지 못한 사람들에게 주시는 메세지는, "모든 육체는 풀과 같고 사람의 모든 영광은 풀의 꽃과 같으며, 풀은 마르고 꽃은 져도 주의 말씀은 영원토록 남아 있음이라."는 것이다. 그러므로 죄 때문에 사망과 저주와 지옥불 심판의 형벌이 있으니  구원받는 유일한 길은 우리의 죄와 저주와 수치를 짊어지시고 십자가에서 죽으심으로써 그것들을 모두 도말하시고 죄인들이 기야할 지옥까지 내려가셔서 모든 세상 죄를 제거하시고 셋째 날에 부활하신 주 예수 그리스도를 전심으로 믿어 영접하는  길박에 없다는 메세지를 아직도 구원받지 못한 사람들에게 다시 한 번 상기시키고 있는 것이다. 자신이 한 포기 풀처럼 잠깐 살다가 어느날 죽어 시들어갈 때에 이 세상에서 추구하던 모든 것들도 한 시절 피어나다가 시들어 떨어지는 들꽃처럼 비참한 삶을 살고 있다는 사실을 깨달을 때에, 길이요 진리요 생명이신 주 예수 그리스도를 전심으로 믿게 되는 것이다. 사도 베드로는 계속해서 2,3,4,5장에 그리스도의 신부들이 어떠한 삶을 살아야 하는가에  대하여 증거하고 있다. 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Song of Solomon 2:1-17

Main scripture: 1Peter 1:1-25

Subject: The message given unto the bride of Christ in the end time

      The scriptures such as Hebrews, James, 1&2 Peter, 1,2,3 John, Jude and Revelation are the messages specially given unto the Christians under suffering as well as the encouraging words for the bride of Christ that are waiting for the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are supposed to divide the word of the truth knowing whether it is given to the Jew or the Gentiles or the church of God; at the same time we have to study dividing into it historically, spiritually and doctrine wise to avoid confusion (2Tim. 2:15).

       Peter, a apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ is writing a epistle unto the born again saints scattered throughout various areas in the midst of affliction and persecution. At the same time, this is the message of the Holy Ghost given unto us in the end time. In other word, this is the message unto them for whom the blood of Jesus Christ has been sprinkled unto the conscience (Heb. 9:14) through faith in his blood which took away the sin of the world, and  baptized into the body of Christ (Rom. 6:3), and chosen as the children of God.

       Whosoever believes on the Lord Jesus Christ that died for our sins on the cross, and buried, and rose again the third day is born again of the Spirit to be the children of God as the heir of God so that they may have an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away; and they are kept by the power of God through faith in the redemption of body that is not corruptible and immortal upon his coming. In other word, no one can take away their salvation at all. Apostle Paul also wrote to the saints of Ephesians church of this:

"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."(Eph. 1:13,14) He also wrote a same message unto the saints in Rome to encourage them:

"And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."(Rom. 8:17,18)

       Apostle Peter explained the reason why they have to rejoice in the midst of manifold temptation unto the saints scattered throughout many areas even though they are in heaviness spiritually, for the trial of their faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might found unto praise and honour and glory at the judgment seat of Christ at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ also gave the same message unto his disciples when he was in the flesh: "Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."(Matt. 5:11,12)

          And God the Father had made a plan to adopt his may children in the earth before the foundation of the world, and he gave his spirit unto his prophets to make his will be done. And God let them prophet of the Word in the beginning as God the Creator to be sent as the Christ(Messiah), and let him suffer and die for the sinners and rise again from the dead so that he may save the souls that believe on him to adopt them as his children to be glorified through them; and he shall come back to the earth with them to establish his kingdom. How many prophets had been persecuted to death until the Lord Jesus Christ the Lord Jesus Christ appeared in the earth? Blessed are that understand the grace and love of God that had allowed such sacrifice of the prophets to give us salvation for such kind of sinners.

       Because of this, Apostle Peter encouraged the bride of Christ that live in the end time what kind of life should be led just before his coming:

  Firstly, wherefore we have to gird up the loin of our mind, not our flesh, and be sober, and hope the end for the grace that is brought unto us at the revelation of Jesus Christ. In other word, we have not forget the first love. Jesus asked Apostle John to warn the church of Ephesians: "Nevertheless I

have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent."(Rev. 2:4,5)

       Secondly, we are supposed to be holy; this is the message that asking us as obedient children, not fashioning ourselves according to the former lusts in our ignorance. He reminds us of the word in Leviticus saying, "Be ye holy: for I am holy."(Lev. 11:44) How the sinners could be holy as God? Through obeying the law of God? No way at all one can be holy! It is only possible through Jesus Christ, as said in the word of Hebrews, "By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all."(Heb. 10:10) Therefore, the born again Christian through his offering of his body to be sanctified to be holy must keep their life holy.

       Apostle Paul encouraged the saints of Thessalonians for the importance of holiness: "For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:"(1Thes. 4:3-5)

       He also wrote to the Galatianss also saying, "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law."(Gal. 5:16-18)

         Apostle John also wrote to the little children of God of holiness saying, "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."(1John 2:15-17)

        Thirdly,  if we can call God as Abba Father, we have to pass the time of sojourning here in the earth in fear. In other word, we cannot forget our salvation through the redemption of our sins by the blood of Jesus Christ to free us from sin and death and curses and bodage in the hell. Apostle Paul gave the same message of warning to the church of Philippians saying, "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."(Phil. 2:12,13)

       Fourthly, he is asking us to obey the truth through the Spirit to purify our souls so that we may love one another with pure heart fervently.

        Finally, to be born again of the Spirit is to be of the word of God that is incorruptible. He also gives a message unto them that are not saved yet saying, "For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you"(1Pet. 1:24,25)

Since because of sin, death and curse and the judgment in the hell, it is only way for salvation of those judgment is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ that died for the sin of the world together with curse and shame, and wnet down into the hell on behalf of sinners to take away the sin of the world, and rose again the third day. Whosoever understand themselves  as a grass withering to death, and their glory falls away at the same time is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ in all their heart that is the way and the truth and life. Apostle Peter continues to testify of the life for the bride of Christ through chapters 2,3,4,and 5. Amen! hallelujah!
