금주의 묵상: 시편 40:1-17

본문: 마태복음 26:26-29

제목: 예수 그리스도의 피로된 새 언약의 참된 진리

       아벨이 하나님께 한 마리 어린 양을 제물로 드렸을 때 하나님께서 아벨과 그의 제물을 받으셨다. 그러나 땅에서 나는 열매를 드린 가인과 그의 제물은 받지 않으셨다 (창 4:3-5). 그리고 나서 사천 여년이 흐른 후에 침례인 요한이 유대인들에게 회개의 침례를 베풀고 있을 때 그 앞에 나타나신 예수님을 유대인들에게 소개하면서, "보라, 세상 죄를 제거하는 하나님의 어린 양이라."(요 1:29)고 증거했다. 그분께서 아벨이 드린 어린 양처럼 하나님 아버지께 온 세상 죄를 제거하시기 위해 드려지시기 까지 삼년 반을 제자들과 보내시면서 틈만 나시면 자신이 죽으실 것과 셋째 날에 살아나실 것을 말씀하셨다.

        주님께서는 아벨이 어린 양을 제물로 드리기 전에 에덴 동산에서 아담과 이브를 유혹하여 죄를 짓게 한 뱀을 향하여 "네가 이것을 행하였으니, 너는 모든 가축과 들의 모든 모든 짐승보다 저주를 받아 네 배로 다닐 것이며 네 평생토록 흙을 먹을지니라. 내가 너와 여자 사이에, 또 네 씨와 그녀의 씨 사이에 적의를 두리니, 그녀의 씨는  너의 머리를 부술 것이요, 너는 그의 발꿈치를   부술 것이라."(창 3:14,15)고 말씀하셨다. 그후 이천여년이 지난 후에 하나님께서는 여인이 될 백성들을 택하시기 위하여 아브람을 부르시고, 이삭을 부르시고, 야곱을 부르시어 이스라엘이라는 이름을 주시고 하나님께서는 이스라엘 백성이 자신의 아내요, 자신이 그들에게 장가들어 남편이 되셨다고 말씀하셨다(렘 3:14).

또한 이스라엘 여인의 태에 성령으로 잉태하셔서 남자의 씨가 아닌 여인의 씨로 하나님께서 예수라는 이름으로 태어나신 것이다(딤전 3:16).

        하나님께서 이 땅에 만물을 통치할 자로 세우신 아담과 이브가 하나님의 신비로운 경륜 안에서 옛 뱀, 즉 사단이라고도 하며 마귀라고도 하는 존재요, 선지자 이사야를 통하여 말씀하신 루시퍼(사 14:12)에게 속아 죄를 지어, 온 땅에 있는 만물들과 모든 사람들까지 순식간에 마귀의 수중으로 들어간 이후부터 하나님께서는 창세기 3:15절에서 말씀하신 계획을 이루시기 위하여 일해 오셨고 지금도 일하고 계시는 것이다.

     본문에서 여인의 씨로 이 세상에 나타나신 예수께서 이제 마귀의 머리를 부수실 일을 행하시기 전에 제자들에게 말씀하신다. 다시 말해서 그분께서 마귀의 머리를 부수시기 위한 전략은 마귀나 사람으로서는 상상할 수도 없고 알 수도 없는 그분 자신의 공의 법을 사용하시는 것이다. 여인의 씨로, 다시 말해서 이스라엘 사람인 유대인으로 태어나신 예수께서 제자들에게 아주 간단하면서도 명확하게 말씀하셨다. "빵을 가지고 축복하신 후 떼어 제자들에게 주시며 말씀하시기를 '받아 먹으라. 이것은 나의 몸이니라.'고 하시고 또 잔을 가지고 감사드린후에 그들에게 주시며 말씀하시기를 '이것을 모두 마시라. 이는 이것이 죄들을 사하심으로 인하여 많은 사람을 위해 흘리는 나의 새 언약의 피이기 때문이라."(마 26:26-28)

       주님께서는 이미 죄들을 용서하셨다고 말씀하시고 계신 것이 아닌가? 왜 주님께서는 모든 사람이 아닌  "많은 사람을 위해 흘리는 나의 새 언약의 피"라고 말씀하시는가? 주님께서는 어린 양이신 자신을 믿지 않을 가인의 후손들을 염두에 두시고 그렇게 말씀하신 것이 아니겠는가? 가인은 자신이 농사지은 열매를 하나님께 드렸다. 그러나 하나님께서는 가인과 그의 제물을 받지 않으셨다. 왜 하나님께서 가인의 제물을 받지 않으셨을까? 깊이 묵상해 보면 그 이유를 알 수 있을 것이다. 하늘 아래 있는 땅과 그 안에 있는 모든 것들은 마귀가 가져온 죄로 인해 저주를 받았다. 하나님께서 아담에게 말씀하셨다: "….너로 인하여 땅은 저주를 받고 너는 전 생애 동안 고통 중에 그 소산을 먹으리라. 또 땅은 네게 가시나무와 엉겅퀴를 낼 것이요 너는 들의 채소를 먹을 것이며 네가 땅으로 돌아갈 때까지 네 얼굴에 땀을 흘려야  빵을 먹으리니, 이는 네가 땅에서 취해졌음이라. 너는 흙이니 흙으로 돌아갈 것이니라."(창 3:17-19)

     그렇다! 이 땅에 있는 것 가운데 유일하게 하나님께 드릴 수 있는 것은 어린 양이신 예수 그리스도밖에 없는 것이다. 그분만이 성육신 하신 하나님이시니 그분만이 죄가 없으시고 죄를 알지도 못하는 분이 아니신가? (고후 5:21) 그분 외에는 그 어떤 사람도 받으실 수 없고 그 어떤 것도 받으실 수 없는 것이다. 또한 아벨은 피흘림이 없이는 죄사함이 없다(히 9:22)는 진리를 분명하게 알았으며 가인 보다 더 나은 제사를 하나님께 드림으로써 의로운 자라고 증거를 받은 것이다(히 11:4). 성령께서 이 땅에 오시기 전에도 하나님께서는 그분의 사람들에게 성령으로 역사하셔서 하나님의 말씀을 예언하게도 하시고 그분의 일을 하게도 하신 것이다.

      그렇다! 하나님께서 받으시는 사람만이 그분의 왕국에 들어갈 수 있는 것이다. 본문에서 주님께서는 앞으로 이 땅에 왕국을 세우시려고 다시 오실 것이기 때문에 그분을 믿은 제자들에게 "내가 너희와 함께 내 아버지의 왕국에서 새 것으로 마시는 그 날까지 이 포도 열매에서 난 것을 마시지 아니하시리라."고 말씀하셨던 것이다.

       지금 이 순간에도 가인의 후예들은 무엇인가 하나님께 드려서 자신들이 받아들여지기를 원하며 헛된 종교 행위를 하고 있는 것을 본다. 그러나 그들과 그들이 드리는 것이 하나도 하나님께 열납되지 않는 것을 알고 어린 양이신 예수 그리스도의 보혈의 공로만을 믿고 하나님의 의이신 어린 양 예수 그리스도에 대한 믿음만을 드려 어린 양 에수 그리스도의 피로 모든 죄들이 제거되어 성령으로 거듭나서 하나님의 왕국에 들어간 사람들을 미워하고 있는 것이다. 가인이 아벨을 미워한 것처럼 이스마엘도 이삭을 미워하면서 조롱하였고 에서도 야곱을 미워하여 죽이려 하였으며, 요셉의 형제들도 요셉을 미워하였으며 사울도 다윗을 미워하여 죽이려고 하였다. 또한 헤롯왕도 침례인 요한을 미워하여 죽였으며 위선자들인 바리새인들과 사두개인들 그리고 서기관들이 예수님과 그의 제자들을 미워하여 십자가에 못박았고 제자들까지 박해하고 죽인 사실들을 성경을 통하여 알 수 있는 것이다. 해 아래 새 것이 하나도 없는 것처럼 지금도 가인과 아벨이 여전히 공존하고 있으며 인류 역사 육천 년은 가인의 후손들이 아벨의 후손들을 박해하고 죽이는 피의 발자취였던 것이다. 성령께서 이 땅에 오신 이후 이천 년 동안 대표적인 가인의 후예들인 로마 카톨릭이 성경대로 믿는 그리스도인들과 유대인들을 죽인 숫자가 그 얼마나 되었는지 역사가 증명하는 것이다. 가인도 그 당시 하나님을 알고 있었듯이 지금도 아벨의 후손들을 박해하고 죽이는 무리들은 하나님을 알면서 그분께서 유일하게 받아들이시는 어린 양을 믿지 않고 자신의 의를 주장하면서  교회라는 문패를 붙인 곳에 모여 있는 것이다.

       하나님께서는 마귀 때문에 죄악 중에 태어나는 모든 사람들을 불쌍히 여기신다는 사실을 예수께서 친히 말씀하셨다: "하나님께서 세상을 이처럼 사랑하셔서 그의 독생자(어린 양)를 주셨으니, 이는 그를 믿는 사람은 누구든지 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라."(요 3:16)

그렇다! 아버지 하나님께서 그의 독생자를 이 세상에 보내셨을 때 세상 사람들의 죄들을 이미 용서하셨기 때문에 보내신 것이다. 그러므로, 예수께서 본문에서 그분께서 피를 흘리시면서 죽으신 것은 이미 죄들을 사하셨기 때문이라고 분명하게 말씀하신 것이다.  또한 예수께서는 "하나님께서 자기 아들을 세상에 보내신 것은 세상을 정죄하려 하심이 아니요, 그를 통하여 세상을 구원받게 하려 하심이라."(요 3:17)고 다시 한 번 말씀하셨다. 그러므로 누구든지 아벨처럼 어린양으로 나타나신 예수 그리스도의 피를 통한 영원한 구속(히 10:12-14)을 믿어 그 믿음을 드리는 자마다 그 순간 모든 죄들이 사하여지고 영원한 생명을 받게 되는 것이다.   그러나 가인처럼 자신의 의만을 고집하면서 자신이 하나님께 무언가 드려서 구원받기를 원하는 사람은 그 자신도 그가 드리는 의도 열납되지 못하는 것이다. 구원은 하나님으로부터 받는 것이지 사람이 무언가 이루는 것이 아니기 때문이다 (Salvation is to receive, not to achieve).

        하나님의 관심은 이 세상으로부터 원수 마귀를 멸하시고 아벨같은 하나님의 의만을 믿고 구원받은 사람들만이 들어올 수 있는 하나님의 왕국을 하늘과 땅에 세우시기를 원하시는 것이다. "아버지의 왕국이 임하시오며, 아버지의 뜻이 하늘에서와 같이 땅에서도 이루어지이다."(마 6:10)라고 기도하라고 주님께서 말씀하신 이유가 여기에 있는 것이다. 마귀는 이미 셋째 하늘에서 쫓겨나서 이층천인 우주 공간에서 활동하고 있지만 조만간 대환란 때가 되면 이 땅으로 쫓겨났다가 (계 12:9) 주님께서 재림하실 때 끝없이 깊은 구렁에 천년 동안 갇혀있다가(계 20:2) 그후에 잠시 풀려나서(계 20:3)영원한 불못으로 떨어지게 되어 적그리스도와 거짓 선지자와 함께 삼위일체를 이루어 불못에서 그들이 행한 대로 영원토록 고통 속에 살게 될 것이다(계 20:10).

       그러므로 사도 바울은 이 진리를 깨닫고 "자녀들이 피와 살에 참여하는 자인 것같이 그 역시 같은 모양으로 동일한 것에 참여하신 것은 자신의 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 가진 자 마귀를 멸망시키시며 또 죽음을 두려워하므로 평생을 노예로 속박되어 있는 자들을 놓아주시려 함이니라."(히 2:14,15)고 증거했으며, 사도 요한도 "죄를 짓는 자는 마귀에게 속하나니 이는 마귀가 처음부터 죄를 짓기 때문이라. 이 목적으로 하나님의 아들이 나타나셨으니, 곧 마귀의 일들을 멸하시려는 것이라."(요일 3:8)고 증거했던 것이다.

       부활하신 주님께서 제자들에게 "예루살렘에서 시작하여 모든 민족 가운데 그의 이름으로 회개와 죄사함이 선포되어야 하리라. 너희가 이런일의 증인이니라."(눅 24:47,48)고 말씀하셨다. 누구든지 마귀가 통치하는 세상으로부터 돌이켜 회개만 하고 어린 양이신 주 예수 그리스도의 피를 믿어 죄사함을 받아 영원한 생명을 받게 되는 것이다. 이 얼마나 쉽고 간단한 복음인가?  아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: psalms 40:1-17

Subject: Truth in the new testament through the blood of Jesus Christ

     Abel gave offering a lamb unto God; and God respected him and his offering. But Cain and his offering were not respected by God when he offered the fruit of ground unto the LORD God (Gen. 4:3-5). One day after about four thousand years passed by, John the Baptist introduced Jesus seeing him when he was baptizing the Jew for repentance testified of Jesus saying, "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."(John 1:29) Jesus used to say to his disciples from time to time of his death to be offered unto the Father God to take away the sin of the world  as a Lamb which was offered by Abel, and of his resurrection the third day.

       The LORD God spoke unto the serpent that tempted Adam and Eve so that they sinned against God in the Mount Eden: "Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."(Gen. 3:14, 15)

After two thousand years passed by, God called Abram to choose the people to be the woman so called Isaac and Jacob, and gave Jacob a new name as Israel. Afterwards, God spoke unto the people of Israel through prophet Jeremiah, I am married unto you to be their husband(Jer. 3:14).

Finally, Jesus was conceived in the womb of Israeli woman to be born as the seed of woman, not the seed of man; it was the way that God manifested in flesh in the name of Jesus (1Tim. 3:16).

       God has been working to achieve his word that was spoke unto the serpent(Gen. 3:15) in his mysterious dispensation, since Adam and Eve, the Prince and Princess in the earth were deceived by the old serpent, the devil and the Satan and Lucifer prophesied by Isaiah  to sin so that all the earth and all things within it happened to fall into the hands of the devil.

       In the main passage, Jesus that appeared as the seed of woman in the world speaks unto his disciples before he was going to bruise the head of the devil. In other word, he is talking about the strategy how to destroy the devil according to his law of righteousness that cannot be imagined nor be understood.  Jesus spoke unto them in the very simple way and clearly: "Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."(Matt. 26:26-28)

          Jesus spoke unto them that he already had forgiven the sins of the world. Then, why Jesus spoke unto them of his blood shed not for all, but for many? He must have thought about the seed of Cain that not believes on him, as the Lamb of God. Cain offered unto God the fruit of the ground; but God not respected his offering. What is the reason why God not respected Cain and his offering? To understand it, we have to meditate deeply. The ground and all things within it under heaven have been cursed because of the sin that was brought by the devil as God said unto Adam: "….cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."(Gen. 3:17-19)

       Yea! The only one that can be offered unto God for him to respect is Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, for he is the only one that has no sin, even he not any sin because he is God that was manifested in flesh (2Cor. 5:21, 1Tim. 3:16). God is not willing to respect any man nor any thing except Jesus Christ. And Abel must understood the truth that without the shedding of the blood is no remission of sin (Heb. 9:22). Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous (Heb. 11:4).  Even before the Holy Ghost came to the world, God had used his  people for them to prophesy and to his will through the Spirit.

       Yea! Only they that are received by God can enter into the kingdom of God. The Lord Jesus will come back to the earth to establish his kingdom in the earth; and he spoke unto his disciple of his kingdom: "I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom."(Matt. 26:29)

        Even in this moment, the seed of Cain may be trying to offer something for them for their salvation continuing their ritual activities in vain. But knowing that they are not be respected with their offerings, they hate them that entered into the kingdom of God through regeneration of their spirit being taken away all their sins offering their faith in the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. As Cain hated his brother Abel, Ishmael hated Isaac and mocked him; so Esau hated Jacob and tried to kill him, and the brothers of Joseph hated Joseph, and Saul hated David to kill him, and King Herod hated John the Baptist and killed him. Finally, the hypocrites such as Pharisees and Sadducees and Scribes hated Jesus  and his disciples to crucify him and persecuted the disciples and killed some of them. As nothing is new under the Sun, even now Cain and Abel are living  together; six thousands years of the human history is the continuation of blood that have been shed by the seed of Abel by the persecution of the seed of Cain. Since the Holy Ghost came to the earth, the representative of the seed of Cain so called Roman Catholic has killed the bible believing Christians; history is proving the number of them killed. As Cain knew God at that time, the seed of Cain also knows God, but not believing on their righteousness instead of the lamb of God still gather together in the building so called church of God.

       Jesus spoke of the sympathy of God for all men born of sin because of the devil: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."(John 3:16)

Yea! The father God sent his only begotten Son to the world because he already has forgiven the sin of the world. Therefore, Jesus is speaking unto his disciple of the reason why he is going to die shedding his blood, because he already had forgiven the sins once again: "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."(John 3:17)

Therefore whosoever believes the eternal redemption of sins through the blood of Christ that appeared as the Lamb of God (Heb. 10:12-14) as Abel did receives the remission of sin right away and to receive the life eternal. But if someone trust in his righteous as Cain did offering something for his salvation cannot be respected by God as well as his offerings:  Salvation is to receive, not to achieve.

           The interest of God is to destroy the devil, his enemy so that he may establish his kingdom where only they that believe on the righteousness of God enter into. This is the reason why Jesus asked his disciples to pray, "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."(Matt. 6:10)

The devil has been cast out from the third heaven, and now he is working in the second heaven that is the air of universe. But sooner or later, he shall be cast out to the earth in the Great Tribulation (Rev. 12:9); and when the Lord Jesus coma back to the earth to judge the world, shall be bound in the bottomless pit for thousand years (Rev. 20:2); afterwards he shall be loosed a little season (Rev. 20:3) before he is cast into the lake of fire to be tormented with the antichrist and the false prophet forever as the trinity of the devil (Rev. 20:10).

       Therefore Apostle Paul understood this truth and  testified: "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage."(Heb. 2:14, 15) Apostle John also testified:  "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."(1John 3:8)

           After resurrection, Jesus spoke unto his disciples, "And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things."(Luke 24:47, 48)

He meant that whosoever repent turning back from the wicked world ruled by the devil, and believe the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ shall receive the remission of sins, and receive the eternal life. What a easy and simple gospel of Christ it is! Amen! Hallelujah!
