금주의 묵상: 시편 8:1-9

본문: 이사야 45:18-25

제목: 땅과 만물들과 사람을 헛되이 창조하지 않으신 하나님

       인류 역사 육천 년이 지난 오늘날 우리가 보는 지구와 그 안에 거주하는 사람들을 볼 때에 모든 것이 비극으로 멸망으로 끝날 것 같이 여겨짐으로써 많은 사람들은 이런 모든 현상에 대해 하나님의 존재를 부인하며 또한 하나님의 존재를 인정하는 사람들조차도 모든 책임을 하나님 앞으로 돌리는 소리를 듣는 것입니다.

      우리가 살고 있는 지구는 시간이 가면 갈수록 점점 오염되고 있으며 너무나 많은 저주 즉, 죄와 가난과 사망이 가득차 있는 것을 봅니다. 또한 지상에 거주하는 모든 나라들 가운데 전쟁과 범죄가 끊임없이 게속되고 있을 뿐 아니라 하나님의 교회라는 곳들 역시 죄악 세상과 다름이 없을 정도로 하나님의 의의 말씀을 떠나 배교하고 있는 것을 봅니다. 이 모든 일들은 마치 창조주 하나님께서 이 땅을 헛되이 만드셨을 뿐 아니라 그 안에 사는 모든 거민들 역시 헛되이 창조하신 것처럼 보이는 현실 속에 우리가 살고 있는 것입니다.

      그러나 본문에서 하나님께서는 선지자 이사야를 통하여 그렇지 않다고 주 하나님의 이름을 걸고 말씀하시고 있습니다. “하늘들을 창조한 주가 말하노라. 하나님은 스스로 땅을 조성하고 만들었으며, 그는 그것을 견고히 세우되 헛되이 창조하지 아니하셨으니 사람이 거주하도록 조성하셨느니라. 나는 주라. 아무도 다른 이가 없느니라. 나는 땅의 어두운 곳에서 은밀하게 말하지 아니하였도다. 나는 야곱의 자손들에게 ‘너희는 나를 헛되이 찾으라.’고 말하지 아니하였도다. 나 주는 의를 말하며, 나는 옳은 것들을 선포하노라.”(사 45:18,19)

        창조주 하나님께서 육 일 동안 빛을 창조하심으로 시작하신 지상의 모든 만물들을 창조하셨을 때에 이 땅은 형체가 없었고 공허하며 물 속에 잠겨있었습니다(창 1:1,2). 그 당시 이 지구는 마치 물로 씻김받은 것처럼 더러움이 전혀 없는 깨끗한 땅이었습니다. 첫째 날, 빛을 창조하셨을 때 창조하신 빛이 하나님의 눈에 좋았습니다. 둘째 날, 하나님께서는 물들 가운데 창공을 만드시고 창공 위에 있는 물들을 창공 아래 있는 물들과 나누셨습니다. 이때에 하나님께서는 만드신 창공이 좋다고 말씀하시지 않았습니다. 우리는 여기에서 창공에는 좋지 않은 무엇인가가 존재하고 있다는 암시적인 메세지를 발견할 수 있습니다. 사도 바울은 공중 권세의 통치자가 있음을 증거하였으며 그 공중 권세자의 영이 불순종의 자녀들 안에서 역사하고 있으며 그 영은 바로 하나님께 불순종한 사탄의 영인 것을 증거한 것입니다 (엡 2:2). 사도 바울은 창공 위에 있는 그 존재를 공중의 권세잡은 자 마귀라고 증거한 것입니다.

      창조주 하나님께서는 셋째날로부터 여섯째 날이 이르기 까지 땅을 물들로부터 나누시고 마른 땅이 되게 하셨습니다. 또한 땅 위에 풀과 씨맺는 채소와 그 종류대로 열매 맺는 씨를가진 과실수를 만드셨습니다. 뿐만 아니라 큰 광명인 태양과 작은 광명인 달을 만드셨습니다. 또한 물 속에도 생명이 있는 동물들과 하늘의 넓은 창공에 나는 새들과 큰 고래들까지 창조하셨습니다. 여섯째 날에는 땅에 종류대로 모든 생물들과 가축들과 기어다니는 모든 생물들을 만드셨습니다. 이 모든 것들을 하나님께서 보셨을 때 좋았습니다. 마침내 여섯째 날 끝에 하나님의 형상과 모양대로 남자와 여자를 만드셨습니다. 하나님께서는 그들을 보시고 좋게 여기시고 그들에게 복을 주시고 그들에게 “다산하고 번성하여 땅을 다시 채우고 그것을 정복하라. 그리고 바다의 고기와 공중의 새와 땅 위에서 움직이는 모든 생물들을 다스리라.”(창 1:28)고 말씀하심으로써 그들을 다스리는 왕으로 임명하셨습니다. 그야말로 죄와 사망과 저주가 없는 아름다운 창조였던 것입니다.

        그러나 하나님께서는 마침내 엄청난 비극을 가져올 뱀인 마귀가 창공 위에 있는 물로부터 나와서 아름다운 땅으로 들어오는 것을 허락하셨던 것입니다. 또한 죄없이 창조된 첫 사람을 유혹하도록 허락하셨던 것입니다. 하나님께서는 그 존재가 최초로 하나님께 범죄한 존재였음을 사도 요한을 통하여 증거하게 하셨습니다: “죄를 짓는 자는 마귀에게 속하나니 이는 마귀가 처음부터 죄를 짓기 때문이라. 이 목적으로 하나님의 아들이 나타났으니, 곧 마귀의 일들을 멸하시려는 것이라.”(요일 3:8) 사도 요한의 증거를 통하여 하나님의 눈에 좋지 않게 보였던 공중에 갇혀있던 마귀를 언젠가 멸하시고 죄와 저주와 사망이 없는 땅을 다시 회복하실 하나님의 뜻을 알 수 있는 것입니다.

      하나님께서는 선지자 이사야와 에스겔을 통하여 마귀의 존재에 대하여 미리 증거하게 하셨습니다: “오 아침의 아들 루시퍼야, 네가 어찌 하늘에서 떨어졌느냐! 민족들을 연약하게 하였던 네가 어찌 땅으로 끊어져 내렸느냐! 이는 네가 네 마음 속에 말하기를 내가 하늘에 올라 가서 내가 내 보좌를 하나님의 별들보다 높일 것이요, 내가 또한 북편에 있는 회중의 산 위에 앉으리라. 내가 구름들의 높은 곳들 위로 올라가, 내가 지극히 높으신 분같이 되리라.’하였음이라. 그러나 너는 지옥까지 끌어내려질 것이요, 구렁의 사면에까지 끌어내려지리라.”(사 14:12-15)

 “너는 완전한 규모를 확정하는 자라. 지혜가 충만하고 아름다움이 완벽하였도다. 네가 하나님의 동산 에덴에 있어 모든 귀한 돌인 홍보석과 황옥과 금강석과 녹보석과 얼룩마노와 벽옥과 사파이어와 에메랄드와 홍옥과금으로 덮혀 있었고 네 북들과 관악기들이 만들어짐이 네가 창조되던 말에 네 안에 예비되었도다. 너는 기름부음을 받은 덮는 그룹이라. 내가 너를 그렇게 세웠더니 네가 하나님의 거룩한 산 위에 있었고 네가 불의 돌들 가운데를 위아래로 걸었도다. 네가 창조되던 날부터 죄악이 네게 발견되기까지 너는 네 길에 완벽하였도다. 네 상품이 풍부함으로그들이 폭력으로 네 가운데를 채워서 네가 죄를 지었느니라. 그러므로 내가 너를 더럽게 여겨 하나님의 산에서 쫓아내리라. 오 덮는 그룹아, 내가 불의 돌들 가운데로부터 너를 멸하리라.”(겔 28:12-16)

      하나님께서는 창조 둘째 날에 하늘로부터 쫓아낸 루시퍼 마귀를 잠시 동안 공중에 거하게 하신 것을 알 수 있는 것입니다. 이로 인하여 창공을 만드시고 보시기에 좋았더라고 말씀하시지 않으셨던 것입니다.

        루시퍼 마귀가 뱀으로 나타나 첫 사람을 유혹하여 죄를 짓게 하였으며 그 죄로 인하여 하나님께서는 사람을 지으신 흙의 원천인 온 지구에 저주가 임하게 하셨습니다. 그후부터 지상의 모든 만물들과 모든 사람들은 죄와 사망과 저주 가운데 살아왔던 것입니다. 그때부터 마귀는 하나님께서 땅과 사람과 만물들을 헛되이 창조하신 것처럼 생각하게 하여 창조주 하나님을 부인하고 자신의 편에 서게 하려고 자신의 영을 주입하여 하나님께 불순종하도록 하였던 것입니다.

        그러던 어느날 땅과 사람과 그 가운데 모든 만물을 창조하신 하나님께서 에수라는 이름으로 사람으로 나타나셨습니다. 그리고 그분께서는 마귀와 그의 사람들에 의하여 무참하게 박해받고 상하시고 수치당하시고 채찍에 맞으시고 마침내 우리를 위하여 저주의 나무 십자가에 달려서 죽으셨습니다. 그 당시 어떤 사람도 그분에 대하여 아는 자가 없었지만 오직 그분께서 세상에 나타나신 이유를 알리기 위하여 보내심을 받았던 침례인 요한은 “보라, 세상 죄를 제거하는 하나님의 어린양이라.”(요 1:29)고 증거했습니다. 또한 사도 요한이 증거한 것같이(요일 3:8), 사도 바울도하나님께서 에수라는 이름으로 사람이 되신 이유에 대하여 증거했습니다: “자녀들이 피와 살에 참여하는 자인 것같이 그 역시 같은 모양으로 동일한 것에 참여하신 것은 자신의 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 가진 자, 곧 마귀를 멸망시키시며 또 죽음을 두려워하므로 평생을 노예로 속박되어 있는 자들을 놓아주시려 함이니라.”(히 2:14,15)

        하나님께서는 선지자 이사야를 통하여 마귀로 말미암아 죄와 사망과 저주가 임한 세상으로부터 구원받아야 한다는 하나님의 메세지를 전하게 하셨습니다: “땅 끝들에 있는 모든 자들아, 나를 쳐다보고 구원을 받으라. 이는 내가 하나님이요, 다른 이가 없음이니라. 내가 스스로 맹세하였으며, 그 말이 의로움으로 내 입에서 나갔으니 되돌아오지 아니하리라. 나에게 모든 무릎이 꿇을 것이며, 모든 혀가 맹세하리라.”(사 45:22,23)

사도 바울은 이 땅의 구세주가 되시기 위하여 세상 죄를 제거하시기 위하여 죽으시고 부활하신 주 예수 그리스도가 바로 땅 끝들에 있는모든 자들이 쳐다보고 구원을 받게 하실 분이심을 증거했습니다:

“이로 인하여 하나님께서는 그를 지극히 높여시어 모든 이름 위에 있는 한 이름을 그에게 주사 하늘에 있는 것이나 땅 위에 있는 것이나 땅 아래 있는 것이나 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고 모든 혀가 예수 그리스도를 주라 시인하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라.”(빌 2:9-11

      주 에수께서도 자신을 믿어 모든 사람이 영원한 생명에 이르는 구원을 받아야 함에 대하여, “모세가 광야에서 뱀을 들어올린 것같이 인자도 그렇게 들어올려져야만 하리니 이는 그를 믿는 사람은 누구든지 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 함이니라.”(요 3:14,15) 주님과 함께 십자가에 달렸던 한편 강도는 바로 이 주님을 쳐다보고 영생을 받아 구원받은 것입니다.

        사도 바울은 주 예수 그리스도의 죽으심과 장사되심과 부활하심을 믿어 구원받는 것에 대하여 “만일 너희가 내가 전한 복음을 굳게 잡고 헛되이 믿지 아니하였다면 복음을 통하여 너희도 구원을 받은 것이라”(고잔 15:2)고 증거한 것입니다.

      하나님께서는 주 예수 그리스도의 피를 믿는 모든 사람들을 그리스도 안에서 새 피조물로 재창조하시고(고후 5:17) 죄와 사망의 권세 잡은 자 마귀를 영원히 멸하시어 하늘에 있는 것들이나 땅에 있는 것들이나 땅 아레 물 속에 있는 것들을 새롭게 만드시어 (계 21:5)새 하늘들과 새 땅을 창조하심으로써 하나님의 창조를 영원히 헛되이 하지 않게 하실 것입니다. 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 8:1-9

Main scripture: Isaiah 45:18-25

Subject: God not created the earth and all things therein, and men in vain

        Six thousand years of human history have passed by; the earth and men therein seems to be miserable unto destruction at the end to the eyes of man. This is the reason why many people doubt of the existence of God the Creator. Even the believers of God’s existence attribute all things unto God.

        The earth where we are living in has been polluted continuously; and too many kinds of curse and poverty and death are full therein. Not only this, but too many wars and crimes among nations have been endless. Even so called the churches of God are to be indifferent from evil world falling away from the righteous words of God. All these things have misled the world so that they may think of God the Creator created the earth and men therein in vain.

        In the main passage, the LORD God deny the creation in vain through prophet Isaiah saying, “For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.

I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.”(Isa. 45:18,19)

        God the Creator made all things for six days beginning from creating light; then the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep that is waters (Gen. 1:1,2) At that time, the earth was so clean without any dirt as if it was cleansed by waters. In the first day of creation, God saw the light that he made was good unto his eyes. In the second day, God made firmament in the midst of waters, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from waters which were above the firmament. Then he never said, it was good seeing the firmament. We could find out a message related in the firmament there might be some kind of thing that is not good to the eyes of God. Apostle Paul testified of the prince of the power of the air; and the spirit of the power of the air works in the children of disobedience; and such spirit is the spirit of Satan that disobeyed God (Eph. 2:2). Apostle Paul testified of something bad above the firmament as the devil that has the power of the air.

        God the Creator continued to create thereafter from third day unto sixth day; he divided the earth from waters; and he let the earth brought forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth. And he created the sun that was the great light as well as the moon that was the lesser light. He also created the moving creature that has life in the waters abundantly, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves abundantly after his kind. God saw that it was good. Finally, at the end of the sixth day, God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God saw them good; and he blessed them, and said, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it(Gen. 1:28). God appoint them as the king and queen asking them to rule over all things that he created. Truly it was the creation without any kind of sins, death and curse.

        But God the Creator allowed the serpent that was the devil to come out of the waters above the firmament, and enter the earth that was so beautiful. He also allowed him to tempt the first man that was created without any sin. Apostle John testified of the devil that sinned from the beginning saying, “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”(1John 3:8) Through the testimony of John, we can understand the will of God to destroy the devil that was bound in the air to restore the earth without sin and curse and death when his time is to be fulfilled.

        The LORD God had prophet Isaiah and Ezekiel of the devil:

 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”(Isa. 14:12-15)

 ” … Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

Thou hast

been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.”(Ez. 28:12-16)

        In the second day of creation, God bound Lucifer, the devil in the air momentarily after he was cast out of heaven. This was the reason why he never said, the firmament was good to his eyes.

        Lucifer, the devil appeared as a serpent unto the first man, and tempted him to make him sin against God. Because of the sin of man, the earth has been full of curses. Since then, all things in the earth as well as all men have been living under sin and death and curse. Since then, the devil misled men so that they believe, God created heaven and the earth as well as men and all things in vain; and let them deny God the Creator, and put his spirit in the heart of man so that they may not obey God, but obey him.

        One day, two thousand years ago, a man appeared in the earth in the name of Jesus; he was the incarnation of God the Creator. He was persecuted by the devil and his servants miserably, and wounded by them, and dealt with lot of shame, and many stripes on his body, and crucified on the wooden cross to be cursed on behalf of us. There was no one that knew of him but only a man his name was John the Baptist that was born to testify of the reason for the coming of Jesus to the earth. He testified of Jesus saying, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”(John 1:29)

      As Apostle John testified(1John 3:8), Apostle Paul also testified of the incarnation of God in the name of Jesus saying, “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

15And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”(Heb. 2:14,15)

      And God gave the message of salvation through prophet Isaiah to be delivered from the earth that is full of sin and death and curse:

 “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.”(Isa. 45:22,23)

        Apostle Paul testified of the Lord Jesus Christ that died to take away the sin of the world, and rose again from the dead saying he is the very God that all the ends of the earth should look unto to be saved:

 “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”(Phil. 2:9-11)

          The Lord Jesus also testified of the salvation of all men unto eternal life through believing on him:

 “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”(John 3:14,15)

One of the thieves that was crucified with Jesus was saved looking unto Jesus on the cross.

          Apostle Paul testified of salvation through believing the death of the Lord Jesus Christ and burial and his resurrection saying, “By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.”(1Cor. 15:2) Amen! Hallelujah!
