금주의 묵상: 시편 24:1-10

본문: 예레미야 31:31-34

제목: 모든 유대인들이 주 예수 그리스도를 알게 되는 날들이 올 때

       주 하나님께서는 선지자 예레미야를 통하여 모든 유대인들이 주 예수 그리스도를 믿어 그분을 알게 되는 날들이 올 것이라는 예언을 하게 하셨습니다. 이 예언의 말씀을 이루시려고 하나님 자신이 사람이 되셔서 유대인 제자들에게 “왕국이 임하시오며, 아버지의 뜻이 하늘에서와 같이 땅에서도 이루어지이다.”(마 6:10)라 기도하라고 말씀하신 것입니다.

        유대인의 왕으로 이 땅에 사람의 모습으로 나타나셨던 예수께서는 그분의 백성 유대인들뿐만 아니라 세상의 모든 이방사람들의 죄를 위하여 모든 율법의 죄들을 자신의 몸에 전가받으셔서 죽으심으로써 세상 죄를 제거하신 것입니다(롬 8:3, 요 1:29).

        솔로몬 왕이 그의 잠언에서 “먼 땅에서 오는 좋은 소식은 목마른 혼에게 냉수같으니라.”(잠 25:25)고 증거한 것처럼, 먼 땅과 같은 하늘나라로부터 오신 그리스도 예수를 통하여 좋은 소식인 복음을 주셔서 모든 믿는 자들에게 죄와 사망과 저주로 인한 목마름을 채워주는 생명수를 주신 것입니다. 사도 바울은 이 좋은 소식에 대하여 “내가 그리스도의 복음을 부끄러워하지 아니하노니 이 복음은 믿는 모든 사람을 구원에 이르게 하는 하나님의 능력이 됨이라. 첫째는 유대인에게요, 또한 헬라인에게로다.”(롬 1:16)라고 증거했습니다.

      그러나 이 좋은 소식인 그리스도의 은혜의 복음 , 즉 믿는 모든 사람에게 영원한 생명과 하나님과 화평을 주는 복음은 때가 찬 경륜인 것입니다. 유대인들은 여전히 대부분 완고해져서 그들의 메시야이신 주 예수 그리스도를 받아들이지 않고 있지만 이방인의 충만함이 차게 될 때에 마침내 그들 모두가 주 예수 그리스도를 그들의 메시야이신 왕으로 영접할 것을 성경은 말씀하고 있습니다.

        사도 바울은 이 하나님의 경륜에 대하여, “형제들아, 너희가 스스로 지혜 있는 체하지 않게 하기 위하여 이 신비를 모르기를 내가 원치 아니하노니 이는 이방인들의 충만함이 차기까지는 이스라엘의 일부가 완고하게 된 것이라. 그리하여 온 이스라엘이 구원을 받으리라. 기록된 바 ‘구원자가 시온에 와서 야곱에게서 경건치 아니한 것을 제거하리라. 이는 내가 그들의 죄들을 없앨 때 그들에 대한 나의 언약이 이것임이라..’함과 같으니라.”(롬 11:25-27)

      주 예수께서도 유대인들에게 이방인의 때와 관련하여 말씀하셨습니다: “예루살렘이 군대에게 포위되어 있는 것을 보거든 그 패망이 가까운 줄 알라. 그때 유대에 있는 사람들은 산으로 피하고, 도성 안에 있는 사람들은 시골로 가되, 시골에 있는 사람들은 도성으로 들어오지 못하게 하라. 이는 이 날들이 복수의 날들임이니, 모든 것을 기록된 대로 이루려 하는 것이라. 그 날에는 아이를 밴 사람들과 젖 먹이는 사람들에게 화 있으리라! 이는 그 땅에는 큰 고난이 이 백성에게는 진노가 있을 것이기 때문이라. 또 그들은 칼날에 쓰러질 것이며, 모든 민족에게 사로잡혀갈 것이요, 또 예루살렘은 이방인들의 때가 찰 때까지 짓밟히리라.”(눅 21:20-24)

          예수님을 십자가에 못박은 유대인들은 주님의 피를 자신들과 자신들의 자손에게 돌리라고 외쳤습니다(마 27:25). 하나님께서는 로마의 티투스 장군을 부르셔서 이스라엘 성전의 돌 하나도 돌 위에 남게 하지 않게 하시는 진노를 퍼부으셨습니다. 그때부터 그들은 나라를 잃어버리고 모든 민족 가운데 흩어져서 유리방황하는 신세가 되었던 것입니다. 그때부터 예루살렘은 이방인들의 손에 넘겨져서 짓밟히게 하셨습니다.

        그러나 하나님께서는 선지자 예레미야를 통하여 미리 예언하게 하신 말씀을 이루시려고 1948년 5월14일에 이스라엘 나라를 회복하게 하셨습니다. 그럼에도 대다수의 유대인들은 여전히 세계 여러나라에 흩어져 살고 있는 것입니다. 하나님께서는 마침내 이스라엘의 모세 다얀 장군을 사용하셔서 이스라엘을 공격한 아랍 연합군을 물리치게 하셨을뿐만 아니라 이방인들의 손 아래 있던 예루살렘의 일부, 즉 동편 땅을 다시 찾게 하신 것입니다.

        우리는 이 역사적인 사실을 간과해서는 안되는 것입니다. 다시 말해서 조만간 하나님께서는 온 예루살렘뿐만 아니라 아브라함에 언약하신 대로 북쪽 큰강 유프라데스로부터 이집트 나일강에 이르는 전 팔레스타인 땅을 그들에게 주실 날이 눈 앞에 다가온 것입니다(창 15:18-21). 또한 주 예수님과 사도 바울을 통해서 미리 말씀하신 대로 이방인의 충만함이 차는 때가 우리 눈 앞에 다가오고 있는 것을 볼 수 있어야 하는 것입니다.

       사도 바울은 주님께서 주신 계시를 깨닫고 에베소 교회 성도들에게 이 사실을 전했습니다: “그의 기쁘심을 따라 자기 안에서 계획하신 바 그의 뜻의 신비를 알게 하셨으니 이는 때가 찬 경륜 안에서 하늘에 있는 것들이나 땅에 있는 것들이나 자신 안에 있는 것들까지도 만물을 그리스도 안에서 하나로 함께 모으려는 것이니라.”(엡 1:9,10)

      그렇습니다! 선지자 예레미야는 그 날들이 오면 하나님께서 이스라엘과 새 언약을 맺으시겠다고 예언하고 있습니다. 또한 그 새 언약은 엣날 모세를 통하여 주신 율법 아래에서 맺은 언약이 아니라 완전히 새로운 언약이라고 증거했습니다. 또한 이 새 언약은 신약시대에 하나님의 자녀들에게 주신 피로 된 새 언약과도 다른 것입니다. 그들에게 주실 새 언약은 New Covenant이며 우리에게 주신 피로된 새 언약은 New Testament인 것입니다. 앞으로 이스라엘 백성들이 야곱의 고난의 때, 다시 말해서 그들이 용광로와 같은 대환란에 들어가서 히틀러보다 더 잔인한 적그리스도 밑에서 고통을 받을 때 환란 끝 무렵에 나타나시는 주 예수 그리스도를 보고 그들의 죄를 회개할 때에 그들과 맺을 새 언약을 말씀하시는 것입니다.

      앞으로 그들이 회개하는 일에 대하여 선지자 스카랴가 예언했습니다: “또 내가 다윗의 집과 예루살렘의 거민들 위에 은혜와 간구의 영을 부어주리라. 그러면 그들은 그들이 찔렀던 나를 쳐다볼 것이며, 그들이 그를 위하여 애통하리니, 마치 어떤 사람이 자기 외아들을 위하여 애통함같이 할 것이요, 그들이 그를 위하여 비통에 잠기리니 마치 어떤 사람이 자기 첫 아들을 위하여 비통에 잠기듯 하리라.”(슥 12:10)

        선지자 예레미야는 이때에 하나님께서는 자신의 법을 그들 속에 두며 그들의 마음 속에 기록하실 것이며 주님은 그들의 하나님이 되시고 그들은 그분의 백성이 될 것이라고 예언했습니다. 주님께서 욥기 38장에 욥에게 나타나셨을 때 그가 재에 앉아 하나님께 회개한 것처럼 그들 역시 대환란 끝부분에 가서 이스라엘 백성들이 민족적으로 회개하게 될 것입니다. 이때에 그들이 오랫동안의 모든 죄들이 용서되고 더이상 기억되지 아니할 것이라고 선지자 예레미야를 통하여 주님께서 말씀하셨습니다. 선지자 스카랴는 예레미야를 통해 말씀하신 것이 이루어지는 것에 대하여, “그 날에 다윗의 집과 예루살렘 거민들에게 죄와 불결을 씻는 샘이 열리리라.”(슥 13:1)고 예언했습니다.

        그렇습니다! 본문 말씀은 주 예수 그리스도께서 심판주로 오실 때에 회개하는 이스라엘의 남은 자들에게 새 언약을 주셔서 그들로 하여금 주 예수 그리스도의 천년왕국에서 제사장 민족이 되게 하실 것에 대하여 말씀하고 있습니다. 또한 선지자 에레미야가 예언한 대로 모든 이스라엘 백성 가운데 작은 자나 큰 자나 할 것 없이 모두가 주님을 알게 될 것이라고 말씀하고 있습니다. 그러므로 더 이상 어떤 유대인들도 주 예수 그리스도를 알라고 가르칠 필요가 없게 될 것입니다.

        주님께서 지상에서 마지막 기도를 하실 때, “영생은 이것이니, 곧 사람들이 유일하시고 참 하나님이신 아버지와 아버지께서 보내신 예수 그리스도를 아는 것이옵니다.”(요 17:3)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그렇습니다. 이 세상 모든 사람들의 죄를 위하여 피흘려 죽이시고 부활하신 주 예수 그리스도를 믿어 영접함으로 그분의 피로 모든 죄들이 용서되어 제거되고 씻김받은 사람들은 주신 성령을 통하여 영원한 생명을 받게 됨으로써 유일하신 참 하나님 아버지와 예수 그리스도를 알게 되는 것입니다. 그러나 예수 그리스도의 피로 된 새 언약(New Testament)은 그리스도 예수께서 공중에 나타나시는 그리스도의 날이 되면 그 때가 끝나게 되는 것입니다. 사도 바울은 이에 대하여 “때에 찬 경륜“이라고 증거한 것입니다.

       주 예수 그리스도를 믿어 성령으로 다시 태어난 사람은 이미 먼 땅에서 온 좋은 소식을 가져오신 주님을 통하여 시원한 얼음냉수같은 영원한 생명을 받았습니다. 그러나 육신은 여전히 죄악 세상에 살면서 세상으로부터 고난을 견뎌야 하는 것입니다. 그러나 다시 한 번 먼 땅인 하늘나라로부터 우리 주 예수 그리스도께서 나타나실 때 우리의 영과 혼 뿐만 아니라 여전히 목마름 속에 있는 죽을 몸과 싹을 몸이 죽지 않고 썩지 않는 몸을 입게 됨으로써 다시 한 번 육신의 목마름까지도 온전히 해갈되게 될 것입니다. 뿐만 아니라, 먼 나라에 왕권을 받으시려고 떠나셨던 주님께서 자신의 왕국을 세우시려고 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주로 이 땅에 다시 오실 때 그분과 함께 다스리는 영광을 받게 될 것입니다. 그때 우리는 이 땅에서 받았던 모든 고난들은 마치 얼음냉수처럼 시원한 축복으로 변하게 될 것입니다(눅 19장). 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: psalms 24:1-10

Main scripture: Jeremiah 31:31-34

Subject: The days come when all the Jews come to know the Lord Jesus Christ

       The LORD God had prophet Jeremiah prophecy of the days when all the Jews shall come to know the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in him. To fulfill this prophesy, God himself became a man, and asked his disciples, to pray saying “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven”(Matt. 6:10)

        Jesus appeared to the world as the king of the Jew; and let all the sins of the law be transferred unto his body; and died not only for the Jew, but the Gentile to take away the sin of the world (Rom. 8:3, John 1:29).

      As king Solomon testified in his Proverbs saying, “As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.”(Prov. 25:25), through Christ Jesus who came down from heaven as a far country, God has given unto us good news that is the gospel of living water to quench the thirst because of sin and death and curse for believers. Apostle Paul testified of the gospel that is good news saying, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”(1:16)

        But this good news that is the gospel of grace of Christ that gives eternal life and peace with God is in the dispensation of the fullness of times. Almost all of the Jews are still hardened in their hearts not to receive the Lord Jesus Christ, their Messiah; but they shall receive him as their Messiah as well as their king when the fullness of the Gentiles be come in finally as the scriptures testify.

        Apostle Paul testified of the dispensation of God saying,

 “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.”(Rom. 11:25-27)

        Lord Jesus also testified of the fullness of the Gentiles unto the Jews saying,

 “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled“(Luke 21:20-24)

        The Jews asked to crucify Jesus, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children(Matt. 27:25) God called Titus, a Roman general poured wrath upon Jerusalem not leaving one stone upon another. Since then, they had lost their nation, and wandered scattering in the nations. Since then, Jerusalem had been taken over the Gentiles trodden down.

       But, God, to fulfill the prophesy spoken by prophet Jeremiah, allowed Israel to be restored on May 14, 1948. But still majority of the Jews are dwelling in many nations in the world. Finally, God used General Moses Dayan of Israel to defeat Arabic nations that attacked Israel. In addition, God allowed Israel to occupy the Eastern part of Jerusalem.

      We are not supposed to ignore such a historical event. In other word, we can foresee the day before our eyes when the children of Israel shall occupy the land of Palestine from the Great river Euphrates to the river of Egypt as God gave the covenant unto Abraham (Gen. 15:18-21). And as God spoke through Jesus and Apostle Paul, we should be able to see the fullness of the Gentiles before our eyes.

        Apostle Paul understood the revelation from the Lord Jesus, and spoke unto the church of Ephesians:

 “Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:”(Eph. 1:9,10)

        Yea! Prophet Jeremiah prophesied saying, he days come, shall the LORD make a new covenant with Israel. He testified of the new covenant as the one that is quite different covenant under the law through Moses. And this new covenant with Israel is different from the New Testament through the blood of Jesus given unto the children of God. New covenant shall be given unto Israel; New testament are given through the blood. Prophet Jeremiah testified of the new covenant that shall be given unto Israel upon their repentance of sins in the midst of the days of trouble of Jacob that is the Great tribulation under the Antichrist who is worse than Hitler.

        Prophet Zechariah testified of the repentance of Israel saying,

 “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourned for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.”(Zech. 12:10)

        Prophet Jeremiah prophesied saying, the LORD God shall put his law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and he will be their God, and they shall be his people. As Job repented unto God sitting in ashes when he appeared to him in the chapter 38 of Job, all the nation of Israel shall repent unto the LORD God at the end of the Great Tribulation. Then, all their sins shall be forgiven not to be remembered at all as testified by Jeremiah. Prophet Zechariah prophesied of achievement of the word of Jeremiah saying,

 “In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.”(Zech. 13:1)

        Yea! The main passages that we read testifies, God will make the people of Israel as the priest of all nations in the Millennium of Christ giving them new covenant upon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Lord of judgment. And as Jeremiah prophesied, they shall all know the Lord Jesus Christ, from the least of them unto the greatest of them. Therefore, there shall be not necessary to teach the Jews to know the Lord Jesus Christ at all.

        When the Lord Jesus made the final prayer on the earth saying,

 “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”(John 17:3) Yea! It is the way for man to know the only true God, and Jesus Christ sent by him only through receiving the Lord Jesus Christ by faith who died for the sins of all men shedding the blood, and rose again to receive the remission of sins to be cleansed to receive the eternal life through the Holy Ghost. But the New testament made through the blood of Christ Jesus shall be ended upon coming the day of Christ when Jesus Christ our Lord appear in the air. Apostle Paul testified of this as “The dispensation of fullness of times”.

        Whosoever is born of the Spirit through faith of the Lord Jesus Christ has received the eternal life as cold waters brought by the Lord Jesus from the far land in heaven. But they still dwell in the weak body enduring sufferings from the wicked world. But once again when the Lord Jesus Christ appears in the air from the far land in heaven, not only our soul and spirit, but also our body shall quench the thirst through being clothed with immortal and incorruptible body. When the Lord Jesus who left to the far land to receive for himself a kingdom come back to establish his kingdom in the earth as King of Kings, Lord of Lords, we shall reign with gloriously. The, all kind s of sufferings that we have passed through shall be cold blessing as cold waters quenching the thirst. Amen! Hallelujah!
