금주의 묵상: 시편 147:1-20

본문: 에스겔 47:1-12

제목: 생수가 아닌 소금을 먹는 진흙 구덩이와 늪이 되지 말자!

      선지자 에스겔은 바빌론에 포로로 잡혀 있는 가운데 하나님께서 앞으로 회복될 이스라엘의 모습을 보여주신대로 예언하고 있습니다. 대 환란 끝에 그들의 메시야시며 우리의 주가 되시는 예수 그리스도께서 이 땅에 나타나셔서 회개한 이스라엘의 남은 자들을 아브라함에게 약속하신 땅인 지금의 팔레스타인 다시 말해서 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 카나안 땅으로 데려오실 때 있을 일을 미리 증거하고 있는 것입니다.

      에스겔은 그들의 메시야께서 이스라엘 땅에 세우실 영원한 성전의 모습에 대하여 40장으로부터 46장에 걸쳐 자세하게 증거했습니다. 이제 본문에서는 지어진 성전의 문지방으로부터 생수가 흘러나오는 것을 성령 안에서 미리 보고 증거하고 있습니다.

        그때에 하나님께서 환상 가운데 에스겔을 매우 높은 산 위에 두셨는데 그 옆에는 남쪽으로 성읍의 형태 같은 것이 있었으며 거기에 한 사람이 있었는데 그의 모습이 놋의 모양 같고 그의 손에는 삼줄과 측량대를 가지고 대문에 있었습니다. 그 사람이 에스겔에게 “인자야, 네 눈으로 보고, 네 귀로 듣고, 내가 네게 보여주려 하는 모든 것 위에 네 마음을 두라. 내가 너에게 그것들을 보여줄 생각으로 너를 데려왔으니 네가 본 모든 것을 이스라엘 집에 선포하라.”(겔 40:4)고 말했습니다. 그리고나서 미래에 이스라엘 땅에 세워질 성전에 대하여 환상으로 보여 주었던 것입니다.

        미래에 세워질 영원한 하나님의 성전에 대하여 자세하게 보여주신 후에 그 사람이 에스겔을 성전 문으로 데려갔습니다. 그때에 에스겔은 성전 문지방 아래로부터 물이 흘러나와 동쪽으로 흐르다가 방향을 바꾸어 재단 남쪽으로 흐르는 것을 보여주었습니다.

        그때에 에스겔은 그 사람이 일천 규빗을 재는 것을 보았습니다. 그가 물을 잴 때마다 발목에 차게 되었다가 무릎에 차고, 허리에 차게 되었으며 네 번째 재었을 때 그 물은 불어나서 헤엄을 치지 않으면 건널 수 없는 강이 되었습니다. 이 때에 강물이 된 물은 마침내 사막으로 흘러 내려가서 바다로 들어갔을 때 죽은 물이 치유되는 것을 보았습니다. 그가 본 바다는 지금의 사해(死海)였습니다. 그 강물이 이르는 곳마다 살아있고 움직이는 모든 것이 살아날 것이며 마침내 죽은 바다에 한 마리도 없었던 고기떼가 있게 될 것이며 죽은 바다가 치유되어 어부들이 서는 것을 볼 것이라고 말했습니다. 그때 고기들은 그들의 종류대로 있을 것이며 큰 바다의 고기처럼 심히 많으리라고 말했습니다. 또한 강 죄우 편에는 양식이 될 나무가 자라고 잎사귀들은 시들지 않을 것이며, 그 과실도 다하지 않고 달마다 새로운 과실을 낼 것이며 과실은 양식이 되고 그 잎사귀는 약이 될 것이라고 말했습니다. 다윗은 이때에 살게 될 이스라엘의 남은 자들에 대하여 복된 자들이라고 미리 에언했습니다: “복 있는 사람은 악인들의 간계를 따르지 아니하며, 죄인들의 길에 서지 아니하며, 조롱하는 자는 들의 자리에 앉지 아니하는도다. 그의 즐거움은 주의 법에 있으니, 그가 주의 법을 주야로 묵상하는도다. 그는 강가에 심겨진 나무같아서 계절을 따라 열매를 맺으며, 그의 잎사귀도 마르지 아니하리니, 그가 무엇을 하든지 번성하리로다.”(시 1:1-3)

      그때 에스겔은 생명수가 흘러내려가는 곳마다 모든 것들이 살아났지만 치유되지 못하는 것이 있음을 보고 증거했습니다: “그러나 거기 진훍 구덩이와 늪은 치유되지 못하고 소금이 주어지게 될 것이라.”(겔 47:11) 이것은 예수 그리스도의 천년통치 기간 중에도 그분의 입으로부터 흘러나오는 생명수같은 말씀을 믿지 않음으로 듣지 않다가 심판을 받을 무리들이 나타날 것을 미리 보여주신 것입니다. 사도 요한은 그들이 심판받는 모습을 성령 안에서 미리 보고 증거했습니다: “그 천 년이 끝나면 사탄이 그의 감옥에서 풀려나, 땅의 사방에 있는 민족들, 곧 곡과 마곡을 미혹하려고 나가서 그들을 함께 모아 전쟁을 일으키리니 그 수가 바다의 모래 같으리라. 그들이 땅의 넓은 데로 올라가서 성도들의 진영과 사랑하시는 도성을 포위하니, 하늘에서 불이 하나님께로부터 내려와 그들을 삼켜 버리더라.”(계 20:7-9)

        에스겔에게 보여주신 환상은 오늘날 우리들에게 아주 중요한 영적 교훈을 주고 있습니다. 오늘날도 죽은 자들을 살리는 생명수가 하나님의 사람들의 입을 통하여 흘러나오고 있는 것입니다. 오늘날의 성전은 성령으로 거듭난 성도들의 몸이기 때문입니다. 그 사람의 직분과는 상관 없이 생명의 말씀들이 지난 이쳔 년 동안 계속해서 흘러나오고 있으며 죽은 바다같은 세상에 흘러내려서 죽은 영을 살리고 있는 것입니다. 이천 년 전 지상에서 유일한 성전이셨던 주 예수께서 유대인들에게 말씀하실 때, “살리는 것은 영이니, 육은 전혀 무익하니라. 내가 너희에게 한 말들은 영이요 생명이라.”(요 6:63)고 말씀하셨습니다.

        에스겔이 성전 문지방 아래에서 흘러나오는 물을 본 것처럼 오늘날도 생수같은 하나님의 말씀들이 영적인 성전 문지방 아래로부터 흘러나오기 때문에 겸손하게 낮아지지 않으면 그 물을 마실 없다는 교훈을 주고 있습니다. 또한 그 물이 건널 수 없는 강이 되어 헤엄치지 않으면 건널 수 없을 때까지 인내하면서 말씀 안에 있는 생수를 마시지 않으면 죽은 바다같은 세상으로 흘러가서 죽은 고기같은 죽은 혼들을 살릴 수 없다는 교훈을 주고 있는 것입니다. 다시 말해서 세 번에 걸쳐 물의 깊이를 잴 때 까지는 자신의 자의대로 여전히 움직이는 삶을 살게 된다는 것과 네 번째 잰 후에 물이 강물이 될 때에 가서 비로서 그 물 속에서 헤엄을 칠 수밖에 없게 되어 자신의 의지와는 상관 없이 그 물이 가려는 곳으로 끌려갈 수밖에 없게 된다는 진리를 가르쳐 주고 있는 것입니다.

        지난 이십 년 동안 하나님께서는 이 교회를 통하여 생수같은 말씀들이 흘러나오게 하셨습니다. 이제부터는 이 생수같은 말씀들이 강물이 되어 죽은 바다같은 온 세상에 흘러가서 죽은 고기같은 혼들을 살려야하는 때가 온 것입니다. 오늘 이 시간을 통하여 자신의 신앙이 어떤 단계에 있는지, 발목인지 무릎인지 허리인지 아니면 성령충만을 통하여 헤엄쳐야만 하는 강물이 되어 자신의 의지를 초월하여 죽은 영을 살리기 위하여 성령님께서 인도하시는 대로 죽은 바다로 흘러가고 있는지 겸손하게 생각해 보아야 하는 것입니다.

      오늘 본문을 통하여 성령께서는 우리에게 아주 중요한 경고의 메시지를 주시고 있습니다. “진훍 구덩이와 늪은 치유되지 못하고 소금이 주어진다.”는 것입니다. 생수가 흘러나오는 교회 안에 있을지라도 사탄의 올무에 걸려 마치 움푹 파인 구덩이나 사탄이 처놓은 늪에 빠져 있다면 흘러나오는 생수를 마시지 못하고 소금같은 어두움 가운데 거할 수밖에 없다는 것입니다.

        오래 전에 하나님께서는 시편 기자를 통하여 미리 예언하게 하셨습니다: “그가 양털같은 눈을 내리시고 하얀 서리를 재같이 흩으시며 얼음을 부스러기같이 뿌리시니 그의 추위 앞에 누가 설 수 있으리요?그가 그의 말씀을 보내셔서 그것들을 녹이시고 그의 바람을 불게 하시니 물이 되어 흐르는도다.”(시 147:16-18)

      그렇습니다. 하나님께서는 영이요 생명이신 자신의 말씀들을 보내셔서 얼어붙은 죄인들의 마음을 녹이시고 성령의 바람을 불게 하셔서 거듭나게 하심으로써 그들로부터 생수같은 물이 흘러나오게 하실 수 있는 것입니다.

        하나님의 말씀은 믿지 않는 사람에게는 도무지 현실성이 없게 보이는 것입니다. 옛날 이스라엘이 시리아 군대에게 포위되어 여러날이 지났을 때 이스라엘 백성들은 먹을 것이 없게 되자 자신의 아들들을 삶아먹는 일까지 있게 되었습니다. 그때 하나님께서는 선지자 엘리사를 통하여 말씀하셨습니다: “너희는 주의 말씀을 들으라. 주께서 이같이 말씀하시기를 내일 이맘때 사마리아 성문에서 고운 가루 한 되가 한 세겔에, 보리 두 되가 한 세겔에 팔리리라” (왕하 7:1)

      이때에 한 귀족이 하나님의 사람 엘리사에게 말하기를 “보소서, 만일 주께서 하늘에 창문들을 내신들 이런 일이 있으리이까?”라고 엘리사의 입을 통해 하신 하나님의 말씀을 불신하며 말했습니다. 그때 엘리사는 그에게 “보라, 네가 네 눈으로 그것을 볼 것이나 그것을 먹지는 못하리라.”대답했습니다. 그 다음 날 엘리사의 말대로 하나님께서 시리아 군대에게 병거들의 소리와 말들의 소리, 즉 큰 군대의 소리를 듣게 하심으로써 그들 모두 있던 모든 것들을 뒤에 두고 도망하게 하셨습니다. 이때에 죽기를 각오하고 성밖을 나갔던 네 문둥병자들이 믿기 어려운 광경을 보고 성문지기에게 그 소식을 알렸을 때 마침내 백성들이 성문밖으로 나가서 시리아인들의 모든 것들을 약탈했습니다. 마침내 엘리사의 말대로 되었으며 믿지 않았던 그 귀족은 성문에서 백성들이 그를 밟고 지나감으로 죽게 되었습니다.

        그렇습니다. 우리는 교회를 통하여 주시는 말씀들을 계속해서 먹고 기도함으로써 성령으로 충만하게 되어 자신의 생각을 버리고 성령의 물줄기 속에 들어가게 될 때에 비로서 생명의 역사를 보게 되는 것입니다. 한 사람도 사탄의 시험에 빠져 마음 속이 구덩이와 늪이 되지 않도록 깨어서 기도하면서 생수같은 말씀으로 충만해야 하는 것입니다. 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: psalms 147:1-20

Main scripture: Ezekiel 47:1-12

Subject: Let us not be the salty miry places and marshes without living water

        Prophet Ezekiel prophesied in the captivity in Babylon as the LORD God showed him of the restoration of Israel. He prophesied of the day at the end of the great tribulation when their Messiah that is our Lord Jesus Christ appear the remnant of Israel that repent to guide them to the promised land unto Abraham that is now the land of Palestine that is flowing milk and honey.

        Ezekiel testified in detail of the temple of God that shall be built by their Messiah in the chapters of 40 through 46. In the main passage, he saw the waters issued out from under the threshold of the house of God in the Spirit, and testified of it.

        Then, in the vision of God, God brought him into the land of Israel, and set him upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south. There was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate. And the man said unto Ezekiel:

“Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.”(EZ 40:4)

Then, he showed Ezekiel the temple of God in a vision that shall be built in the land of Israel in the future.

       After he showed in detail of the temple of God, he brought Ezekiel again unto the door of the house. Then he showed Ezekiel waters that came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.

        Afterwards, Ezekiel saw, the man measured a thousand cubits. As he measured each thousand cubits, the waters were to the ankles, and to the knees, and to the loins, and finally waters became a river that he could not pass over: for the waters were risen. And then, Ezekiel saw the waters flow out going down into the desert, and going into the sea, the waters were healed. The sea that he saw was the Dead Sea in the land of Palestine nowadays. And he said unto Ezekiel, it shall come to pass, that every thing that lives, which moves, wherever the rivers shall come, shall live where the river comes; and there shall be a very great multitude of fish where was no fish at all; for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live where the river comes. And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it. And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side, and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed; it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because there waters they issued out of the sanctuary; and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine. King David prophesied in his psalm of the blessing for the remnant of Israel that shall be dwelling there:

 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”(Ps 1:1-3)

          Ezekiel also testified of the things that were not healed, even though every thing lived wherever the waters flowed down. saying, “But the miry places and the marshes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.”(EZ 47:11)

Actually, the man showed Ezekiel them that not believe the words as the living waters out of the mouth of the Lord Jesus Christ in his Millennium reigning unto judgment. Apostle John testified of the scene of the place of judgment in the Spirit:

“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured.”(Rev. 20:7-9)

        The Holy Ghost gives a very important spiritual teaching unto us through the vision shown unto Ezekiel. Even nowadays, the living waters are flowing out of the mouths of men of God to heal the dead unto life. Now, the temple of God is the body of born again Christian. Regardless of the job of Christian, the living waters have been flowing out to the world to heal the dead spirit for last two thousand years. The Lord Jesus Christ was the only the temple of God two thousand years ago in Israel; and he said unto the Jew saying,

 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”(John 6:63)

        As Ezekiel saw the waters issued out from under the threshold of the house of God, even nowadays, the living waters are flowing out from the threshold of the spiritual temple of God; but no one can drink the living water unless he lowers himself with humility , because the waters flows out from the threshold of the house of the temple of God. And as another spiritual teaching, we cannot heal the dead spirit as the dead fishes, unless we drink the living waters with patience until the waters is risen, waters to swim in. In other word, we are going to move wherever we want to go until the third thousand measuring; but we cannot move according to our will anymore when the waters is risen as river. In other word, when we are filled with Holy Ghost, the living waters shall overwhelm our will after all so that we are to move wherever the Spirit bring us out.

        For last twenty years, our Lord God has allowed this church to have the words of God as the living waters. Now, it is the time when the living waters are to be flowing into the world as the dead sea to heal the dead spirits as the dead fishes in the dead sea. It is the very time to meditate for ourselves whether we are in the level of our faith whether to the ankles or to the knees or to the loins or the waters is risen as river through the fullness of the Holy Ghost to be ready to flow down to the world swimming in the Spirit without our will.

        In the main passage, the Holy Ghost gives us a very important message of warning as said, “But the miry places and the marshes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.”(EZ 47:11)

Even thought we are in the church where the living waters are flowing out, if we are in the snail of Satan as we are in the miry places and the marshes, we cannot drink the living waters in the words of God, but to be in darkness as salt.

        The LORD God gave a psalm as a prophesy through a psalmist saying,

“He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.”(Ps. 147:16-18)

        Yeah! God is still sending his words as spirit and life to melt down the heart of sinners that is frozen unto ice, and let the wind of the Spirit so that they may be bon of the Spirit; and so that the living waters may be flowing out from their heart.

        The word of God seems to be unrealistic at all unto them that not believe. Long time ago, when Israel was surrounded by the Syrians for many days so that they had to eat their children to one another. Then the LORD God spoke through Elisha unto the Israel saying,

“Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.”(2King 7:1)

          Upon hearing his word, a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, Elisha not believing the word of God spoken through him saying,

 “Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be?”(2King 7:2)

Then, Elisha spoke unto him saying,

 “Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.”(2King 7:2)

        On the next day, the LORD God had made the host of Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of the great host; and they arose and fled in the twilight , and left their tents, and their horses , and their asses, even the camps it was, and fled for their life. Not knowing about the host of Syrians, the four leprous men were talking to one to another, and decided themselves to fall into host of the Syrians unto death. They were super surprised seeing Syrian at all leaving their camp. They called unto the porter of the city to tell about what happened unto the Syrians; and the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. Finally, the word of God spoken through Elisha was fulfilled as he said, the lord of the king was killed being stepped on by the people so that he saw that, but couldn’t eat thereof at all.

          Yeah! When we emerge into the living waters in the words of God given through this church with hearing and praying until we are filled with the Holy Ghost forsaking our own will, we shall see the thing that shall be happening before our eyes. No one in this church is not to be the miry places and the marshes thereof in the heart, but to be filled with the living waters awakening with alert praying without ceasing. Amen! Hallelujah!
