금주의 묵상: 시편 110:1-7

본문: 창세기 3:1-7

제목: 현 세상을 쳐다보지 말고 하나님의 말씀을 통해 보라!

       하늘로부터 쫓겨나서 세상을 통치할 목적으로 지상에 나타난 사탄이 뱀의 형상으로 나타나 이브를 속여 첫 사람이 하나님께서 금하신 열매를 먹은 이후 이 세상은 선과 악을 아는 지식으로 인하여 싸움이 시작되어 서로 죽이는 역사가 계속되어 왔습니다. 아담의 아들 카인이 자신이 더 선하다고 여김으로써 동생 아벨을 죽이는 일로부터 시작되어 인류 역사 육천 년 동안 피흘리는 일이 여전히 세계 방방 곡곡에서 자행되고 있는 것을 봅니다.

      우리는 오늘 본문 말씀을 통하여 이런 비극이 시작된 과정을 살펴봄으로써 이 세상을 사는 지혜를 얻을 수 있는 것입니다. 지금도 사탄은 하나님의 자녀들을 유혹할 때 하나님께서 금하신 것을 쳐다보도록 유혹하는 것입니다. 첫 사람이 하나님께서 금하신 나무를 쳐다보지 않았다면 먹음직하고 보기에도 즐겁고 현명하게 할 만큼 탐스러운 나무라고 생각하지 않았을 것입니다. 다시 말해서 사탄은 지금도 하나님의 자녀들이 세상을 쳐다보도록 유도함으로써 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 생의 자랑을 자극하여 죄를 짓게 하는 것입니다.

        하나님께서는 하나님의 자녀들이 마음대로 먹을 수 있는 말씀들을 주셨습니다. 그러나 사탄은 여전히 세상, 즉 오늘날 선악을 알게 하는 지식의 나무를 보도록 시험하는 것입니다. 사탄은 이브에게 하나님께서 금하신 나무를 보도록 유혹할 때에 동산에 있는 모든 나무의 열매를 마음대로 먹을 수 있는 것을 잠시 잊어버리게 하고 금하신 나무에 대하여 호기심을 일으키게 함으로써 하나님께서 금하신 나무를 쳐다보게 만들었던 것입니다. 오늘날에도 여전히 사탄은 하나님의 자녀들에게 풍성하게 주신 영원한 생명을 잊어버리게 함으로써 이 땅에서 무언가 부족한 것이 채워지지 않은 것에 대하여 하나님께 섭섭한 마음이 들게 함으로써 시험에 들게 하는 것입니다. 이로 인하여 하나님의 자녀들이 풍성하게 먹을 수 있는 생명의 말씀을 먹지 않고 세상을 쳐다보게 하는 것입니다.

          하나님의 자녀들이 하나님의 말씀을 보지 않고 세상을 쳐다보게 함으로써 사탄은 하나님의 심판을 받아 불못에 떨어져 멸망하는 그의 최후가 어떻게 될 것인지 보지 못하도록 하는 것입니다. 옛날 아브라함과 롯의 삶을 통하여 우리는 마지막 때에 어떤 삶을 살아야 하는지 지혜를 얻을 수 있습니다. 아브라함은 하나님께서 인도하신 카나안 땅에 계속 머무르고 있었지만 롯은 아브라함을 통하여 주시는 하나님의 말씀을 외면하고 조만간 심판받을 소돔을 바라보았던 것입니다:

“이에 롯이 눈을 들어 요단의 온 평지를 바라보니, 소알에 이르기까지 어느 곳이나 물이 넉넉하더라. 그곳은 주께서 소돔과 고모라를 멸망시키기 전이었으니, 주의 동산 같고 이집트 땅과 같더라. 그리하여 롯이 요단의 온 평지를 택하고 롯이 동쪽으로 옮겨가니, 그들이 서로에서 갈라지더라. 아브람은 카나안 땅에 거하였고 평지의 성읍들에 거하여 자기 장막을 소돔을 향해 쳤더라. 그러나 소돔인들은 사악하였고 주 앞에 극심한 죄인들이었더라.”(창 13:10-13)

       하나님께서는 오래 전에 선지자 예레미야를 통하여 두 종류의 사람에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다:

“주가 이같이 말하노라. 사람을 신뢰하는 사람과 육신을 그의 무기로 삼는 사람과 그의 마음이 주로부터 떠난 사람은 저주를 받으리라. 그는 사막의 히스 나무같이 되어 좋은 일이 오는 때를 보지 못하고 광야와 소금 땅과 사람이 살지 않는 바싹 마른 곳들에 거하리라. 주를 신뢰하고 그의 소망을 주께 두는 사람은 복이 있도다. 그는 물가에 심겨진 나무가 강가에 그 뿌리를 뻗침과 같아서 더위가 와도 걱정하지 않고 그 잎이 푸르러 가뭄의 해에도 염려하지 않고 열매를 맺는 것도 그치지 아니할 것이라.”(렘 17:5-8)

       다윗왕도 세상을 쳐다보지 않고 하나님의 말씀을 읽고 묵상하는 사람의 축복에 대하여 증거했습니다:

“복 있는 사람은 악인들의 간계를 따르지 아니하며, 죄인들의 길에 서지 아니하며, 조롱하는 자들의 자리에 앉지 아니하는도다. 그의 즐거움이 주의 법에 있으니, 그가 주의 법을 주야로 묵상하는 자로다. 그는 강가에 심겨진 나무 같아서 계절을 따라 열매를 맺으며, 그의 잎사귀도 마르지 아니하리니, 그가 무엇을 하든지 번성하리로다.”(시 1:1-3)

         마음의 눈을 항상 하나님의 말씀에 두는 사람은 이 세상을 향한 하나님의 뜻이 무엇인지 깨닫게 되어 사탄의 속임수에 넘어가지 않는 지혜를 얻게 되는 것입니다. 왜냐하면, 하나님의 말씀은 처음부터 마지막까지, 다시 말해서 창세기부터 요한계시록에 이르기까지 이 세상을 유혹하여 죄와 사망과 저주를 가져온 사탄을 심판하는 말씀으로 가득차 있는 것을 알게 되는 것입니다. 사탄을 찾아가신 하나님께서는 즉시 그에게 심판하실 것에 대하여 선포하셨으며 동시에 아브라함의 후손으로 나타나실 그의 독생자 예수 그리스도를 통하여 그의 머리를 부수실 것을 말씀하심으로써 그분을 믿는 자들이 죄와 사망과 저주로부터 구원받게 되는 복음을 선포하신 것입니다:

“네가 너와 여자 사이에, 또 네 씨와 그녀의 씨 사이에 적의를 두리니, 그녀의 씨는 너의 머리를 부술 것이요 너는 그의 발꿈치를 부술 것이라.”(창 3:15)

           에덴 동산에서 하나님께서 뱀인 사탄에게 선포하신 것처럼 하나님의 독생자 예수께서는 십자가에 달려서 발꿈치를 상하시고 죽으셨습니다. 그러나 셋째 날에 살아나셨습니다. 하늘에서 최초로 죄를 지었던 사탄이 하나님께서 자신의 형상과 모양대로 창조하신 사람을 속여서 죄와 사망과 저주를 이 땅에 가져왔습니다. 그러나 이번에는 하나님께서 사탄을 속여 하나님의 독생자를 죽이면 더 이상 그분께서 이 땅을 통치하실 만왕의 왕 만주의 주가 될 수 없게 되어 영원히 자신이 이 세상의 통치자가 될 것으로 착각하도록 하셨던 것입니다. 그러나 예수께서는 죽은자로부터 셋째 날에 부활하심으로써 죄와 사망과 저주를 멸하심으로써 사망의 권세 잡은 자 마귀를 심판하셨습니다.

          이제 조만간 주 예수 그리스도께서 이 땅에 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주로 나타나셔서 사탄의 머리를 부수시고 그를 영원한 불못으로 던지심으로써 그에 대한 심판을 집행하실 일만 남아 있는 것입니다. 이 진리를 깨달았던 사도 바울과 요한은 하나님께서 사람이 되셔서 예수라는 이름으로 살과 피를 가지고 나타나신 목적에 대하여 “자신의 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 가진 자, 곧 마귀를 멸망시키시며, 또 죽음을 두려워하므로 평생을 노예로 속박되어 있는 자들을 놓아주시려 함이니라.”(히 2:14)

“죄를 짓는 자는 마귀에게 속하나니 이는 마귀가 처음부터 죄를 짓기 때문이라. 이 목적으로 하나님의 아들이 나타나셨으니, 곧 마귀의 일들을 멸하시려는 것이라.”(요일 3:8)고 각각 증거했습니다.

          그러므로 사탄은 여전히 세상을 유혹하면서 사람들로 하여금 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 생의 자랑을 바라보게 함으로써 주 예수 그리스도의 복음을 듣지 못하게 하고 깨닫지 못하게 함으로써 자신이 심판받아 가게 될 불못으로 인도하고 있는 것입니다. 뿐만 아니라 주 에수 그리스도를 믿어 성령으로 다시 태어난 하나님의 자녀들까지도 유혹하여 세상을 쳐다보게 하여 세상의 정욕에 빠지도록 하는 것입니다.

이렇게 함으로써 앞으로 나타날 하나님의 왕국에서 유업을 받지 못하도록 속이는 것입니다. 사도 바울은 에베소 교회 성도들에게 경고했습니다:

“너희가 이것을 알거니와 음행하는 자나 더러운 자나 욕심 밚은 자, 곧 우상 숭배자는 누구든지 하나님과 그리스도의 왕국에서 상속받을 것이 없느니라.”(엡 5:5)

       사도 요한은 영적으로 어린 하나님의 자녀들에게 권면했습니다:

“세상도, 세상에 있는 것들도 사랑하지 말라. 누구든지 세상을 사랑하면 아버지를 사랑함이 그 안에 있지 아니하니 이는 세상에 있는 모든 것이 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 생의 자랑이요, 아버지께 속한 것이 아니라 세상에 속한 것이기 때문이라. 세상도, 세상의 정욕도 사라지지만 하나님의 뜻을 행하는 자는 영원히 거하느니라.”(요일 2:15-17)

         하나님께서는 아들 예수 그리스도를 통하여 성령으로 다시 태어나서 더 이상 아담의 자손이 아니고 마지막 아담이신 예수 그리스도의 자손이 된 하나님의 자녀들이 모여있는 하나님의 교회를 세우셨습니다. 옛날 에덴 동산처럼 교회 안에도 마음대로 먹을 수 있는 생명 나무를 주셨습니다. 바로 생명의 말씀인 것입니다. 하나님께서는 여전히 그의 자녀들에게 세상이라는 선악과를 쳐다보지도 말고 먹지도 말라고 말씀하고 있는 것입니다. 옛날 아담이 하나님의 말씀을 받아 이브에게 전해 주었지만 이브는 불순종했습니다. 그러나 이제 마지막 아담이신 예수 그리스도를 믿어 영접함으로써 그리스도의 신부가 된 교회는 그분의 말씀에 순종해야 하는 것입니다. 더 이상 세상을 쳐다보지도 말고 세상 신인 사탄이 주는 유혹에 귀를 기울여서도 안되는 것입니다. 이제는 온전히 말씀 안에 거함으로써 진리를 깨닫고 자유함 가운데 하나님의 말씀 안에서 사탄이 통치하는 세상을 봄으로써 다시 오시는 주님 안에서 화평을 누리면서 모든 환난을 이겨내어 주님께서 통치하시는 하나님의 왕국에서 받을 유업을 바라보아야 하는 것입니다.

      성령께서는 시편 기자를 통하여 심판받을 세상에 대하여 예언하셨습니다:

“온 땅아 즐거운 소리를 내어라. 큰 소리를 내며 기뻐하고 찬송하라. 하프로 주께 노래하라. 하프로 또 시를 말하며 노래하라. 나팔들과 뿔나팔 소리로 왕이신 주 앞에 즐거운 소리를 내어라. 바다와 거기 충만한 것은 외치며 세상과 그 안에 거하는 것들도 외칠지어다. 큰 물들은 손뼉을 치며 산들은 함께 즐거워할지어다. 주 앞에서 할지라. 이는 그가 땅을 심판하러 오시기 때문이라. 그가 세상을 의로, 그 백성을 공의로 심판하시리로다.”(시 98:4-9)

      지난 이천 년 동안 하나님께서는 성령님을 통하여 이 세상 통치자인 사탄이 심판 받는다고 책망하고 계십니다(요 16:8-11). 사도 바울이 증거한 것처럼 주님께서 대 환란 전에 심판받을 세상으로부터 우리를 하늘 집으로 데려가실 것입니다(살전 4:16-18). 또한 주 예수 그리스도께서 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주로 이 죄악 세상을 심판하시기 위해 대 환란 끝에 이 땅에 나타나실 때 그와 함께 통치하기 위하여 이 땅에 다시 오게 될 것입니다 (계 19:11-21). 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 110:1-7

Main scripture: Genesis 3:1-7

Subject: Don’t look at the present world, but see it through the word of God!

        Since the Satan was cast out of heaven, and came to the earth; he appeared in the serpent to deceive Eve so that she ate the forbidden fruit, this world has been filled with the knowledge of good and evil resulted in the history of wars killing one to another. Cain considered himself better than Abel, and hated him to murder; since then, bleeding wars are still going on worldwide in the human history.

        Searching the procedure of such a miserable thing through the word of God, we can have the wisdom how to live in this world. Even nowadays, Satan tries to tempt the children of God for them to see the things that are forbidden by God. If the first woman, Eve had not seen the forbidden tree, she might not have thought of the tree as good for food, and pleasant to the eyes, and to be desired to make her wise. In other word, Satan is still trying seducing the children of God so that they may see the world; and he tries to stimulate their lust of flesh and eyes, and the pride of life unto sins.

          But God has given his words for the children of God to eat freely. Satan is still tempting them to see the world that is the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Satan made Eve forget the word of God saying to eat the fruits of all the trees in the Garden of Eden freely, and let her have curiosity of the forbidden tree to see the tree. Even nowadays, Satan try to make the children of God forget the abundant life of eternal given by God, and feel sorry for something in want to be in the trap of temptation, and make them hate to eat the words of life, but to see the world.

          Making the children of God not see the words of God but see the world, Satan tries make them not see his end of destiny unto the final judgment of God unto the lake of fire. And through the life of Abraham and Lot, we can have the wisdom of life; Abraham was remained in the land of Canaan being led by God; but Lot ignored the word of God given through Abraham, and saw the land of Sodom to be judged sooner or later:

    “And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.

Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east; and they separated themselves the one from the other. Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.

But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly.”(Gen. 13:10-13)

           The LORD God spoke about two kinds of man through prophet Jeremiah:

 “Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.

For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.”(Jer. 17:5-8)

          King David testified of the blessing for them that read the word of God, and meditate not seeing the world:

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”(Ps. 1:1-3)

          Whosoever puts his eyes in the words of God becomes to understand the will of God toward the world; and not to be in the temptation of Satan with wisdom of God. In other word, he shall find out so many words from Genesis through Revelation of the judgment against Satan that the world to bring forth sin and death and curse unto the earth. The LORD God found Satan in the Garden of Eden right after he tempted Eve, and he declared to judge him saying to him to bruise his head through the only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. God declared the gospel of Christ so that whosoever believe in Christ Jesus shall be saved from sin and death and curse:

 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”(Gen. 3:15)

       As God declared unto the serpent, Satan in the Garden of Eden, Jesus, the only begotten Son of God died on the cross bruising his feet. But he rose again from the dead the third day. Satan that sinned in the beginning deceived the man who was made in the image of God as well as his likeness to bring forth sin and death and curse unto the earth. But this time, God deceived Satan to make him have the wrong idea thinking himself to be able to rule the world forever more, if he kills the only begotten Son of God that shall be coming as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. But Jesus rose again from the dead the third day to destroy sin and death and curse, and judged the Devil, the Satan that has the power of death.

          Sooner or later, the Lord Jesus Christ shall come back to the earth as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, and execute the judgment of him bruising the head of Satan to cast him into the lake of fire. Apostle Paul as well as Apostle John testified of the purpose of Jesus who appeared with flesh and blood:

 “through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;”(Heb. 2:14)

“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”(1 John 3:8)

         Satan is still tempting the world so that people follow the lust of flesh, and the lust of eyes, and pride of life, and have them not hear the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and not understand even upon hearing the gospel to lead them the lake of fire where he is to be cast into. He also temps the children of God for them to see the world, and emerged into the lust of the world. Satan deceives the children of God so that they may not have inheritance in the kingdom of God. Apostle Paul warned unto the saints of Ephesians church:

“For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.”(Eph. 5:5)

        Therefore, Apostle John encouraged the little children of God:

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”(1 John 2:15-17)

        God has built his church through the Holy Ghost in the earth where the born again children of God gather together to be united; they are no more the children of Adam, but the children of Jesus Christ who is the last Adam. As the Garden of Eden, God has given the life tree that we can eat freely in the church of God; that is the words of life of God. Our Father God is still saying unto us not to see the forbidden tree that is the present world, and not eat of it. In the garden of Eden, Adam received the word of God, and it unto his wife, Eve; but Eve disobeyed her husband. But the church of God that is the bride of Jesus Christ that is the last Adam should obey his words; no more seeing the world, nor listening to the temptation of Satan. Now, abiding in the words of God deeply, we have to understand the words of truth to have liberty, and see the world that is ruled by Satan through the words of God, and have peace in the Lord to overcome all kinds of tribulations to look forward the inheritance to receive in the kingdom of God.

        The Holy Ghost prophesied of the world unto judgment through a psalmist:

 “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.

With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.”(Ps. 98:4-9)

         God has been rebuking the world saying the prince of the world that is the Satan is judged for last two thousand years (John 16:8-11). As Apostle Paul testified, the Lord Jesus will take us home in heaven from the world that is under judgment before the Great Tribulation comes (1 Thes. 4:16-18). And we shall come back to the earth to reign with him when he appears to the earth to judge the wicked world at the end of the Great Tribulation as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords (Rev. 19:11-21). Amen! Hallelujah!
