금주의 묵상: 시편 45:1-17

본문: 에베소서 5:21-33

제목: 그리스도의 돕는 배필, 하나님의 교회

       성령께서는 사도 바울을 통하여 우리에게 아주 중요한 영적 신비에 대하여 말씀하고 있습니다. 성령께서는 눈에 보이지 않는 영적인 신비를 말씀하실 때마다 눈에 보이는 것들을 통하여 말씀하시는 것입니다. 또한 눈에 보이지 않는 영적인 것을 깨닫게 될 때에 사람의 생각에 이해가 되지 않는 것들에 대하여 깨달음으로 하나님의 말씀에 순종하게 되는 것입니다.

       오늘 주신 본문 말씀은 성령께서는 하나님의 교회와 그리스도와의 눈에 보이지 않는 영적인 신비로운 관계를 깨닫게 하시기 위하여 눈에 보이는 남편과 아내의 관계를 말씀하고 있는 것입니다.

        사람의 생각으로는 아내가 남편에게 복종해야 하는 가에 대하여 자신의 남편에게 복종할 수 없는 여러 가지 부정적인 이유들을 들 때오히려 사람들에게서는 설득력을 얻을 수 있을지도 모르는 것입니다. 그러나 첫 사람의 아내가 남편에게 복종하지 않았을 때 그 당시에는 상상도 할 수 없었던 비극이 벌어지고 말았던 것입니다. 그 당시에는 별로 큰 일이 아닌 것으로 여겨졌을지 몰랐겠지만 아내가 준 금지된 열매를 먹은 일로 인해 온 세상에 죄와 사망과 저주가 임했을 뿐만 아니라 그들은 하나님께서 창조하신 만물들을 다스리는 권세를 마귀에게 빼앗김으로써 지구 전체를 그에게 넘겨주고 말았던 것입니다.

        또한 남편들은 자신의 아내를 사랑하되 자신의 목숨을 내어줄 정도로 사랑하라는 더 엄청난 명령을 받았습니다. 실제로 아담은 자신의 아내를 얻기 위하여 잠시 동안 죽을 수밖에 없었습니다. 하나님께서는 아담에게 돕는 배필을 주시기 원하셨습니다. 성경은 이렇게 증거하고 있습니다: “또 주 하나님께서 말씀하시기를 ‘남자가 혼자 있는 것이 좋지 않으니 내가 그를 위하여 돕는 자를 지으리라…. 주 하나님께서 아담을 깊은 잠에 빠지게 하시니 그가 잠드니라. 하나님께서 그의 갈비뼈 하나를 취하시고 살로 거기를 대신 채우시더라. 주 하나님께서 남자에게서 취했던 갈비뼈로 여자를 지으셔서 그녀를 그 남자에게로 데려오시니, 아담이 말하기를 ’이는 이제 내 뼈들 중의 뼈요, 내 살 중의 살이니, 그녀를 여자라 부르리라. 이는 그녀가 남자에게서 취해졌음이라.‘ 하니라. 그러므로 남자가 자기 어머니와 아버지를 떠나서 자기 아내와 결합하리니, 그들이 한 몸이 될 것이니라.”(창 2:18,21-24)

         그러나 아내 이브가 남편 아담에게 복종하지 않음으로 인해 하나님께서 세우신 가정에 비극을 초래하게 된 일이 하나님과 함께 거하던 에덴동산에서 일어났던 것입니다. 이브가 하나님의 말씀을 전해주면서 금지된 열매를 먹으면 반드시 죽게 된다고 하는 남편의 말에 복종하지 않았던 한 가지 일로 인해서 온 세상에 지난 육천 년 동안 가정이 깨어지는 일들과 그 결과 초래되는 증오와 살인 등 엄청난  비극들로 넘쳐나게 된 것입니다.

           하나님께서 여자를 지으실 때에 남편 아담을 돕는 자로 지으셨습니다. 여자 이브가 해야 하는 일은 남자 아담이 하는 일에 동참하면서 그가 시키는 일에 최선을 다해 도우면 되는 것입니다. 또한 하지 말라고 하면 하지 않고 하라는대로 순종하면 되는 것입니다.

         사도 바울은 그리스도와 하나님의 교회의 관계에 대한 영적인 신비로운 관계를 증거하기 위하여 보이는 아내와 남편 관계가 그리스도와 교회의 관계와 같은 것에 대해 증거했습니다. 하나님께서 자신의 독생자 예수 그리스도를 세상 죄를 제거하기 위하여 잠시 동안(사흘 동안) 죽게 하셔서 그를 믿는 자들을 자신의 피로 씻기시어 자신 안으로 들여보내셨습니다. 또한 그들을 하나로 모으시고 자신이 머리가 되셔서 하나님의 교회를 이루게 하신 것입니다. 남자와 여자가 혼인함으로써 한 몸이 되듯이 그리스도께서는 자신을 믿는 사람들을 자신과 한 몸이 되게 하신 것입니다. 그러므로 사도 바울은 “이는 우리가 그의 몸과 그의 살과 그의 뼈의 지체임이라.”고 증거한 것입니다. 또한 그는 “교회는 그의 몸이니 만물 안에 모든 것들을 채우시는 분의 충만이니라.”(엡 1:23)고 증거한 것입니다.

          그러므로 교회의 맴버가 된 사람들은 예수 그리스도의 지체가 된 사람들로서 마치 그분의 살과 그분의 뼈들이 된 것입니다. 아담이 이브를 가리켜 “내 뼈들 중의 뼈요, 내 살 중의 살이라.”고 말한 것처럼 주님께서는 우리 한 사람 한 사람을 자신의 몸의 일부처럼 여기시며 부르시고 계신 것입니다.

         그러므로 하나님의 교회의 지체가 된 사람들은 한 공동체로서 성령 안에서 하나가 되어 남펀이신 그리스도께 온전히 복종하면서 그분께서 하시는 일을 돕기만 하면 되는 것입니다. 성령께서는 교회가 그리스도의 사역을 돕는 일을 할 수 있도록 자신이 원하시는대로 각자에게 은사들을 주셨습니다.

         그러면, 그리스도께서 하시는 일이 어떤 것인지 아는 것이 무엇보다도 중요한 것입니다. 그리스도께서는 하나님 아버지로부터 기름부움을 받으신 분이십니다. 선지자로 오셔서 진리를 전하시다가 우리의 구원을 완성하시고 하늘로 들려올라 가셨습니다. 지금은 대제사장으로서자신의 피를 가지고 우리를 위하여 중보하고 계십니다. 또한 이제 장차 때가 차면 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주로 오셔서 자신의 왕국을 세우시고 온 세상을 통치하시게 될 것입니다.

          그러므로 하나님의 교회의 지체가 된 우리들은 이 세상에 잠시 동안 기거할 동안 그분께서 하시던 진리의 말씀을 온 세상에 전파하는 일을 함으로써 그리스도를 도울 수 있는 것입니다. 하나님의 말씀들을 전파하는 일을 위하여 각자가 받은 은사들로 성령 안에서 하나가 되어 일하게 될 때에 그리스도의 사역이 이루어지는 것입니다. 이에 대하여 사도 바울은 에베소 교회 성도들에게 증거하면서 부탁했습니다:

“그러므로 주의 죄수 된 내가 너희에게 권고하노니, 너희가 부르심을 받은  그 부르심에 합당하게 행하되, 모든 겸손과 온유와 오래 참음과 사랑 가운데서 서로 용납하고 화평의 띠 안에서 성령의 하나 됨을 지키도록 열심히 노력하라.”(엡 4:1-3)

        그가 말한 부르심은 교회 안에서 그리스도의 사역을 위하여 그분께서 주신 일이 있다는 것으로서 마치 세상에서 각자가 직업이 있는 것처럼 하나님의 나라(왕국)인 교회에서도 맡은 바 영적인 직분이 있다는 것입니다. 영어 킹제임스 성경에서는 부르심에 대하여 vocation(직업)이라고 확실하게 기록해 놓았습니다. 세상에서 직업이 없으면 실업자 또는 백수라고 부르듯이 하나님의 교회 안에서 할 일이 없는 사람 역시 영적인 실업자가 되는 것입니다.

        그리스도께서 두 번째로 하시고 있는 사역이 대 제사장으로서 우리를 위하여 중보하시는 것처럼 하나님의 교회도 자신의 몸을 희생제물로 드리심으로써 믿는 모든 사람을 구원하신 주 에수 그리스도를 증거함으로써 복음을 전해 죄의 문제를 해결해 주는 제사장의 직무를 수행해야 하는 것입니다. 사도 바울은 이 사역에 대하여 증거했습니다: “모든 것이 하나님께로부터 났으며 그분께서는 예수 그리스도를 통하여 스스로 우리와 화해하셨고 화해의 직분을 우리에게 주 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 계셔서 세상을 자신과 화해하게 하시며 그들의 죄과를 그들에게 돌리지 아니하시고 우리에게 화해의 말씀을 맡겨주신 것이라. 그러므로 이제 우리는 그리스도를 대신한 대사들로서 하나님께서 우리를 통하여 너희를 권면하신 것같이 우리도 그리스도를 대신하여 너희에게 간구하노니 너희는 하나님과 화해하라.”(고후 5:18-20)

        이제 조만간 그분께서 세상을 심판하시러 오실 때에 그분께서는 마지막 사역을 시작하실 것입니다. 그분께서는 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주로서 온 세상을 통치하게 될 것입니다. 하나님의 교회는 앞으로 임할 그분의 왕의 사역을 도우는 일을 하게 될 것입니다.

        그러므로 사도 베드로는 하나님의 교회에 대하여 “그러나 너희는 선택받은 세대요 왕같은 제사장이며, 거룩한 민족이요, 독특한 백성이니, 이는 너희를 어두움에서 불러내어 그의 놀라운 빛으로 들어가게 하신 분의 덕을 너희로 선포하게 하려는 것이니라.”(벧전 2:9)고 증거했습니다.

         사도 바울도 앞으로 그리스도의 마지막 사역을 도울 사람들에게 대하여 증거했습니다: “우리가 참으면 우리도 그와 함께 다스릴 것이요 우리가 그를 부인하면 그도 우리를 부인할 것이라…자녀이면 상속자들이니 하나님의 상속자들이요, 그리스도와 함께 한 공동 상속자들이니 우리가 그와 함께 고난을 받은 것은 함께 영광도 받게 하려 함이니라. 이는 현재의 고난들이 우리에게 나타나게 될 영광에 감히 비교되지 못한다고 내가 여기기 때문이라.”(딤후 2:12, 롬 8:17-18)   

          사도 요한은 성령 안에서 하늘로 들려올라가서 많은 천사들과 네 짐승들과 장로들이 경배하는 소리를 듣고 앞으로 성도들이 그리스도와 함께 통치하는 일에 대하여 증거했습니다: “…죽임당하셨던 주께서 하나님께로 각 족속과 언어와 백성과 민족 가운데서 우리를 주의 피로 구속하여 우리 하나님 앞에 왕들과 제사장으로 삼으셨음이니 우리가 땅 위에서 통치하리이다.”(계 5:9-10) 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 45:1-17

Subject: Church of God, the helping spouse of Christ

          The Holy Ghost testifies of a very important spiritual mystery through Apostle Paul. The Holy Ghost speaks of the spiritual mystery through the physically visible things. When we understand the spiritual things invisible unto our eyes, we are to obey the words of God through understanding the things that cannot be understood by the thoughts of man.

        The main passage given today testifies of the relationship between husband and wife so that we may understand the spiritually mysterious relationship between Christ and the church of God.

         The thoughts of man could make various negative excuses of the reason why wife is not willing to submit herself unto her husband. Such kinds of excuses could be heard reasonable unto the thoughts of man. But as we know, when the wife of the first man not submitted unto her husband, an unimaginable miserable thing was to be happening. Though it might not to be considered as a catestrophy at that time, sin and death and curse were to be spreaded out unto all the earth, because they ate the fruit that was forbidden by God. In addition, their reigning power of all things that were created by God was stolen by the Devil, and even the earth had to be taken over unto the Devil.

       Husbands were commanded to love their wives giving themselves unto them. Adam had to die for a while to receive his wife from God. God wanted to give him a helping spouse. The scripture testifies of this:

“And LORD God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him….And the LORD caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof. And the rib which the LORD God had taken from man, and made he a woman, and brought heru nto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because  she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh.”(Gen. 2:19,21-24)

          But unfortunately, a miserable thing happened unto the house made by God in the Garden of Eden, because the wife, Eve not submitted unto her husband, Adam. Because of not hearkening unto her husband saying not to eat the forbidden fruit not to die surely, all kinds of enormous miseries such as hatered and murders followed by broken homes have been continued to happen in the world for the last six thousand years of humans’ history.

         The LORD God made the woman as the helper for her husband, Adam. Eve, the woman only had to participate in the works of Adam, and help him doing best. She only had to do what she was supposed to obey to do, and not do whatever Dam ask not to do.

       Apostle Paul testified of the visible relationship between husband and wife as the same one between Christ and the church of God to testify the spiritually mysterious relationship between Christ and his church. God made the Lord Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son die for a while as Adam (three days) to take away the sin of the world so that he cleanse the believers by his blood to be baptized into his body. And he gathered together as one body making himself their head to be the church of God. As man and woman is to be one flesh through marriage, Christ made them that believe on him be one body unto him. Therefore, Apostle Paul testified of this mystery saying,

“For we are members of his body of his flesh, and of his bones.” He also testified of the church saying, “Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”(Eph. 1:23)

       Therefore, each member of the church has become his flesh and his bone. As Adam called Eve, saying, “She is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh.”, our Lord Jesus Christ is calling each member of his church as his bone and flesh.

           Therefore, the members of the church of God are to be one unity in the Holy Ghost as one body, and have to submit unto Christ as the husband, and help him. The Holy Ghost has given the gifts unto the members as he wants to give so that they may be able to help the ministry of Christ.

         Then, first of all, it is important for us to know the ministry of Christ. Christ is the One that is anointed by the Father God. He came to the world as a prophet to preach the truth. He was lifted up to heaven after he finished the salvation for us. Now he is interceding for us with his own blood in heaven as the High Priest. And when the time is fulfilled, he shall come as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords to eastablish his kingdom in the earth, and reign all the earth.

           Therefore, we, the members of his church are able to help him through praching the words of the truth of God unto all the earth sojourning in the world. When we work in one unity in the Holy Ghost with the gifts that we are given, the ministry of Christ is to be done. Apostle Paul testified of this unto the Ephesians:

“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye work worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. With all lowliness and meekness one another in love. Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”(Eph. 4:1-3)

          The calling that was spoken by him is described as the vocation; as we have our own job in the world for living, there is the spiritual job even in the kingdom of God. The King james Version clarified the calling as the vocation. As we call the unemployed that has no job, even in the church of God there are the unemployed spiritually.

           The sceond ministry of Christ is as the High Priest to intercede for us; we have to preach the word of gospel of Christ that saves all men that believe on him sacrificing himself to do as the priests that solve the problem of sins. Apsotle Paul also testified of this ministry of Christ:

“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself,, not imputing their trapasses unto them: and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.”(2Cor. 5:18-20)

         Now sooner later, he shall come to judge the world to begin his final ministry. He shall come as the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, and rule the whole world. The church of God shall help his ministry. Apostle Peter testified of the church of God:

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of the darkness into his marvelous light.”(1Pet. 2:9)

          Apostle Paul also testified of them that shall help the final ministry of Christ:

“If we suffer, we shall also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us…..And if children, then heirs: heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time sre not worthy to be compared the glory which shall be revealed in us.”(2Tim. 2:12, Rom. 8:17-18)

         Apostle John was lifted to heaven in the Spirit, and heard the voice of many angels round about the thrones and the beasts and the elders of the reigning of the saints with Christ:

“…..for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us  to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and toungue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests; and we shall reign on the earth.”(Rev. 5:9-10) Amen! Hallelujah!
