금주의 묵상: 시편 24:1-10

본문: 시편 23:1-6

제목: 주 예수 그리스도의 양이 누리는 영원한 행복

         주 하나님을 자신의 목자라고 부르는 다윗은 자신이 그분의 양이라고 고백하고 있습니다. 그는 자신이 하나님의 양으로서의 삶에 대하여 간증하고 있습니다. 현 세상에서 뿐만 아니라 영원 세계에서의 삶에 대해서도 말하고 있는 것입니다. 그는 자신을 주 하나님의 양이라고 부를 때에 자신이 목자이신 하나님의 음성에 절대로 복종하고 그분을 평생토록 따르겠다는 결단의 말인 것입니다.

       예수께서 세상에 오셔서 말씀하실 때에 목자와 양에 대해 말씀하셨습니다:

“진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 나는 양들의 문이라. 내 앞에 온 자는 다 도둑들이요 강도들이라.양들이 그들을 듣지 아니하였느니라. 나는 그 문이라. 누구든지 나를 통하여 들어가면 구원을 받을 것이며 또 들어가며 나오며 초장을 찾으리라…..내 양들은 내 음성을 들으며 나는 그들을 알고 그들은 나를 따르느니라. 내가 그들에게 영생을 주노니 그들은 영원히 멸망하지 않을 것이며, 또 아무도 나의 손에서 그들을 빼앗지 못할 것이니라. 그들을 나에게 주신 내 아버지는 만유보다 더 위대하시니, 아무도 내 아버지의 손에서 그들을 빼앗아 갈 수 없느니라. 나와 내 아버지는 하나니라.”(요 10:7-9, 27-30)

          다윗 왕이 “주는 나의 목자시니”라고 고백할 때에 그 당시 주 여호와 하나님이었지만 동시에 앞으로 육신으로 나타나실 주 예수 그리스도에 대하여 증거한 것입니다. 다윗 왕은 그때부터 앞으로 세상에 나타나실 주 예수 그리스도가 그의 주가 되신다고 기도 가운데 고백했습니다:

“주께서 내 주께 말씀하시기를 ‘내가 네 원수들을 네 발판으로 삼을 때까지 너는 나의 오른 편에 앉아 있으라.’ 하셨나이다.”(시 110:1)

         그는 창조주 하나님께서 자신의 목자가 되셨고 또한 그가 그분을 온전히 따르고 있기 때문에 부족한 것이 없다고 증거하고 있습니다. 예수께서 세상에 계실 때 유대인들을 향하여 그들이 자신을 믿어 하나님의 왕국에 들어가서 하나님의 양이 되기만 하면 하나님께서 그들이 필요한 것을 미리 아시고 또한 넘치게 공급하실 것이라고 친히 말씀하셨습니다:

“그러므로 무엇을 먹을까, 무엇을 마실까, 또 무엇을 입을까 하고 말하며 염려하지 말라. (이런 것들은 이방인들이 구하는 것이라.) 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께서는 너희에게 이런 모든 것이 필요한 줄 아시느니라. 오히려 너희는 먼저 하나님의 나라와 그분의 의를 구하라, 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더해 주시리라.”(마 6:31-33)

         마치 목자가 양들을 푸른 초장으로 인도하여 마음대로 풀을 뜯게 하고 물을 마시도록 인도하는 것처럼 목자 되신 주 하나님께서 그에게 영원토록 시들지 않는 생명의 말씀들을 먹게 하시고 또한 성령을 통하여 생명수를 마시게 한다고 고백하고 있는 것입니다. 그가 우리야의 아내를 범한 후 회개하는 기도 가운데 “주의 영을 내게서 거두어 가지 마소서”(시 51:11)라고 간청하는 말을 통해 그가 주의 영 안에 거하면서 쉼을 얻고 있었다는 것을 알 수 있는 것입니다.

        그러나 주 예수 그리스도의 죽으심과 부활하심을 믿어 구원받아 성령으로 다시 태어난 사람들에게 주신 은혜가 얼마나 큰지 우리는 사도 바울이 에베소 교회 성도들에게 하신 증거를 통하여 알 수 있는 것입니다:

“그분 안에서 너희도 진리의 말씀, 곧 너희 구원의 복음을 듣고서 그분을 신뢰하였으니 또 너희가 그분을 믿고서 약속의 그 성령으로 인침을 받은 것이니라. 이는 값 주고 사신 그의 소유를 구속하기 까지 우리의 유업의 보증이 되어 그의 영광을 찬양케 하려 하심이니라.”(엡 1:13-14)

           또한 다윗 왕은 하나님께서 자신의 혼을 소생케 하셨다고 증거하고 있습니다. 그리고 주께서 소생한 그의 혼을 의의 길들로 인도하신다고 증거하고 있습니다. 그는 그의 혼을 소생케 해 달라고 기도했습니다:

 “내 혼이 진토에 붙어 있으니 주의 말씀대로 나를 소생시키소서. 내가 내 길들을 아룄더니 주께서 나를 들으셨나이다. 주의 규례들을 내게 가르치소서. 나를 주의 법규들의 길을 깨닫게 하소서. 그리하시면 내가 주의 경이로운 일들을 말하리이다.”(시 119:25-27)

          그는 자신의 혼이 죄의 몸에 붙어있음으로 인해 죄를 지을 수밖에 없음을 깨달았던 것입니다. 이 시대에 이 진리를 깨달은 사람이 얼마나 될지 안타까운 일인 것입니다. 그는 그의 본체가 하나님께서 지으신 살아있는 혼(창 2:7)이라는 사실을 알았던 것입니다. 이 사실을 깨닫지 못하면 자신이 죄인인 것을 알 수 없으며 자신의 혼이 구원받기 위해 주 예수 그리스도께로 나올 수 없는 것입니다. 사도 베드로는 이 진리를 깨닫고 “이는 너희 믿음의 결과, 곧 혼들의 구원을 받음이니라.'(벧전 1:9)고 증거했습니다.

          또한 사도 바울은 주 예수 그리스도를 믿어 혼의 구원을 받은 사람에게 하나님께서 그리스도의 할례를 통하여 그들의 혼이 진토 같은 죄의 몸을 벗어 버리게 되었다고 증거했습니다:

“또한 너희가 그의 안에서 손으로 하지 아니한 할례를 받았으니 곧 그리스도의 할례로 육신의 죄들의 몸을 벗어 버린 것이라.”(골 2:11)

             다윗 왕은 하루에 세 번씩 기도하고 일곱 번씩 하나님을 찬양하는 삶을 통하여 성령님의 임재 가운데 살았습니다. 그가 가장 두려워하던 것은 하나님의 임재가 떠나버리는 것이었다고 그의 기도 가운데 고백했습니다:

“주의 얼굴을 내게서 숨기지 마시고 주의 종을 노하심으로 버리지 마소서. 주께서 나의 도움이 되셨으니 오 내 구원의 하나님이여, 나를 떠나지 미시고 나를 버리지 마소서.”(시 27:9)

다윗 왕 안에 계셨던 성령은 양자의 영이 아니고 종의 영이었으므로 항상 두려움 가운데 기도하고 간구하면서 주의 영이 떠나시지 말기를 구했던 것입니다. 그러나 하나님 자신이 사람이 되셔서 평생을 죽음의 두려움 가운데 살고 있는 죄인들을 위해 피 흘리시고 죽으시고 부활하신 후에 그를 믿는 자들을 위해 주신 엄청난 은혜를 미리 본 다윗 왕은 이렇게 고백했습니다:

“죄과들을 용서받고 죄가 가려진 사람은 복이 있도다. 주께서 정죄하지 않으시고 그 영에 간사함이 없는 자는 복이 있도다.”(시 32:1-2)

         세상 죄를 제거하시기 위해 나타나신 예수께서 제자들에게 자신을 통하여 구원받게 될 사람들에게 주시는 축복에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다:

“또 내가 아버지께 기도하겠고, 그분께서 또 다른 위로자를 너희에게 주시리니 그가 너희와 함께 영원히 거하시리라.”(요 14:16)

          그는 또한 주의 지팡이와 막대기가 자신을 위로하신다고 고백하고 있습니다. 목자가 지팡이로는 곁길로 가려는 양을 인도하기 위해 쓰는 것이며 막대기는 목자의 말을 듣지 않는 양을 혼내주기 위해 쓰이는 것으로 말한 것입니다. 그는 항상 하나님의 말씀을 따라 행한다고 고백했습니다;

“주의 말씀은 내 발의 등불이요, 내 길의 빛이니이다.”(시 119:105)

           뿐만 아니라 그가 때로는 말씀을 떠나 살 때에 헤매던 일과 그 일로 인해 그가 받은 고난과 주신 은혜에 대하여서도  증거했습니다:

“내가 고난 당하기 전에는 길을 잃었으나 이제는 주의 말씀을 지키나이다…내가 고난 당한 것이 내게 좋사오니 이는 내가 주의 규례들을 베우게 되기 때문이니이다.'(시119:67,71)

          다윗 왕은 마침내 그가 주 예수 그리스도께서 부활하실 때 함께 부활하는 소망에 대하여 그리고 그가 주 예수 그리스도와 함께 이 땅에 내려와서 그리스도와 함께 이스라엘의 목자로서 그들의 통치자가 되어 그의 생전에 그에게 수많은 고난을 주었던 사탄이 끝없이 깊은 구렁 속에 갇혀 있는 그리스도의 천년왕국의 때에 그가 하나님께로부터 주시는 식탁을 받게 되는 소망에 대하여 미리 증거하고 있는 것입니다. 또한 그때에 그가 이스라엘의 통치자로서 받는 영원한 기름부음에 대하여 “내 잔이 넘치나이다.”라고 고백하고 있는 것입니다.

          하나님께서는 앞으로 다윗 왕이 주 예수 그리스도의 천년왕국에서 받을 축복에 대하여 선지자 에스겔을 통하여 예언하게 하셨습니다:

“내가 한 목자를 그들 위에 세우면 그가 그들을 먹이리니, 곧 나의 종 다윗이라. 그가 그들을 먹일 것이요, 그가 그들의 목자가 되리라. 나 주는 그들의 하나님이 되고 내 종 다윗은 그들 가운데 통치자가 되리라. 나 주가 그것을 말하였노라.”(겔 34:23-24)

          마지막으로 그가 이 땅에 사는 평생 동안 주의 선하심과 인자하심이 마치 목자가 치는 양들을 곁길로 가지 못하게 돕는 두 마리의 개들처럼 하나님의 두 가지, 선하심과 인자하심이 항상 그를 따른다고 고백하고 있는 것입니다. 또한 그는 죽어 아브라함의 품 안에서 쉬다가 부활하여 주 예수 그리스도와 같은 모습으로 나타날 소망에 대해 증거했습니다. :

“나, 나는 의 가운데서 주의 얼굴을 보리니 내가 깨면 주의 모습으로 만족하리이다.”(시 17:15)

         또한 성령께서는 사도 요한을 통해서 거듭난 하나님의 자녀들의 영원한 소망에 대하여 증거하게 하셨습니다:

“사랑하는 자들아 이제는 우리가 하나님의 아들들이라.. 우리가 어떻게 될 것인지는 아직 나타나지 아니하였으나 그가 나타나시면 우리가 그와 같이 되리라는 것을 아노니, 이는 우리가 그분 그대로 그분을 볼 것이기 때문이라. 그분 안에서 이 소망을 가진 사람은 그분이 정결하신 것처럼 자신을 정결케 하느니라.”(요일 3:2-3)

그렇습니다. 주 예수 그리스도의 신부인 하나님의 교회도 주님의 집인 새 예루살렘에서 영원무궁토록 살게 될 것입니다.

This week’s meditation: Psalms 24: 1-10

Scripture: Psalm 23: 1-6

Title: The everlasting happiness for the sheep of the Lord Jesus Christ

         David, the Lord God called his Shepherd has confessed that he is the sheep of the LORD God. He testifies of his life as a sheep of God.  In the present world, as well as it is telling you about life in eternity. Calling himself as the sheep of the LORD God, he meant to pledge to obey the voice of the LORD God through his whole life.

          When Jesus came into the world, he  spoke of the relationship between shepherd and sheep:” Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.  I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.…. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.  I and my Father are one. “(John 10: 7-9, 27-30)

             Confessing, “The LRD is my shepherd”, he testified of the Jehovah God as well as the Lord Jesus Christ to be manifested in flesh in the future. He confessed of the Lord Jesus Christ  that is going to appear in the world as his Lord in his prayer:

”  The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. “(Psalm 110: 1).

             He testifies, he is not in want, for the LORD God the Creator is his own shepherd so that he is following him thoroughly. Jesus spoke unto the Jews to enter the kingdom of God through believing in him to be his sheep so that he will supply all things that they need abundantly foreknowing their need:

“ Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?  (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.“(Matthew 6: 31-33)

         He confess that like a shepherd leads his sheep to the green pastures for them to eat the grass freely as well as to the still waters for them to drink therein, the LORD God let him eat the words of life that is never withers as well as everlasting waters to drink through the Holy Ghost. We understand that he had rest in the Holy Ghost. He asked unto the LORD not to take the Spirit of the LORD with repentance when he committed sin against God taking the wife of Uriah saying, ” Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.“ (Psalm 51:11)  

         We can understand how much great grace has been given unto us when we are saved to be born again of the Spirit through believing on the death of the Lord Jesus Christ for us as well as his resurrection. Apostle Paul testified of such a great grace unto the Saints in Ephsians church:

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.“(Eph. 1: 13-14).

           In addition, David has proof that God revive his soul. And he testifies that the Lord leads his soul to righteous ways. He prayed to revive his soul:

 ” My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word. I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes. Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.“(Psalm 119: 25-27).

          He realized his soul no choice but to sin because of that cleaved to the body of sin. Knowing that there are so few that understand of this truth, it makes us sad. He realized of himself as the living soul made by the LORD God (Gen. 27). If you do not realize this fact cannot be found to be sinners, neither to come unto the Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation.  Realizing this truth, the apostle Peter testified, ” Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. (I Peter 1:09)

          The Apostle Paul also testified to the people who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, they put off the body of sin as the dust through the circumcision of Christ:

” In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: (Colossians 2:11)

             King David prayed three times a day to prayed unto the LORD God, and praised him seven times a day in the presence of the Holy Ghost.  What he was most afraid of was to lose the presence of the Holt Ghost as confessed in his prayer:

” Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.” (Psalm 27: 9)

             The Holy Ghost which dwelled within King David was not the Spirit of adopted son, but of the servant; he always prayed unto the LORD God in the fear to ask not to leave him away. King David foresaw the great grace to be given unto them that believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, God manifested in flesh, and shed his blood, and rose again for sinner; and he confessed:

” Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.” (Psalm 32: 1-2)

         Jesus appeared to take away the sin of the world; and  spoke about the blessings to those who will receive salvation through himself to the disciples:

” And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (John 14:16)

          He also confessed that his  rod and staff comforted him. He testifies of the staff of God that led him right ways, and of the rod that punished him whenever he was in trouble continually. He confessed to walk according to the words of God:

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.“ (Psalm 119: 105)

           He also testified of the wandering days falling apart the words of God as well as the troubles and grace because of that: ” Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word….. It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.” (Psalm 119: 67,71).

          King David finally testifies of the hope of his resurrection as Jesus rise again, and of the hope of his coming down to the earth together with the Lord Jesus Christ to be the pastor as well as the prince reigning with Christ. He also testifies of the blessing that in the Millennium age,  he shall receive the table from the Lord Jesus Christ before the Devil that is his enemy while he is in the bondage in the bottomless pit. He testifies of his blessing of the everlasting anointing as saying “My cup runneth over”  

          God prophesied of the blessing for King David in the days of the Millennium of Christ through the prophet Ezekiel to prophesy:

“And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the Lord have spoken it.

“(Ezekiel 34: 23-24).

          Finally, he confess, the goodness and mercy of God had followed him for all the days of his life as two dogs are used by the shepherd to follow his sheep to protect them. He also testifies of the resting in the bosom of Abraham after death as well as his resurrection with Jesus Christ in his likeness saying,  

” As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness..” (Psalm 17:15)

              The Holy Ghost testifies of the everlasting hope of the children of God through the Apostle John:

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.“(1 John 3: 2-3).

           That’s right! The bride of the Lord Jesus Christ that is the church of God shall dwell in the New Jerusalem that is house of the Lord.
