This week’s meditation: Isaiah 63: 1-19

Scripture: Isaiah 64: 1-12

Title: The zeal of God to recreate his works in heaven and earth

            Since the sin was brought forth to the world by the Satan, all the works of God that were created by him came to pass to be under curse and death. The LORD God gave the Devil manifested in the serpent the message of judgment right away. God declared to the devil saying his head shall be bruised by his  Only begotten Son that shall appear as the seed of woman. It was the first gospel that shall give life to the world again. Through being bruised his feet on the cross according to the law of righteousness, God will restore all his works created by him including men giving them life again.

          As God completed his creation of all things on the earth for six days, he has been still working with zeal without ceasing to restore all things delivering them from death to make them new things for six thousand years that is six days for his time.  

            God wants all his creation to understand his plan of restoration through salvation through his death and resurrection according to the law of righteousness to be his renewed works upon hearing. Apostle Paul testified in the Spirit of all creation except man are waiting for the day without murmuring even though they have never sinned against God. :

“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.Romans 8: 19-23)

          That’s right! Only those that believe on the Lord Jesus Christ that appeared to the world to take away the sin of the world through his death and resurrection are looking forward the day in the Holy Ghost when he destroy death to renew heaven and earth. 

           Then who are they that have the firstfruits of the Spirit? Nowadays so many people church goers confessing the faith in the Jesus Christ, but for those that confess the faith only with lips cannot bear the firstfruit of the Spirit. The Holy Ghost never enter into them unless they believe on him with all their heart as Jesus spoke unto the Jews. Jesus spoke unto the Jews that not believed in him very clearly:

“ This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. (Matthew 15:08)

                  Since the gospel was declared toward the devil, in other word, the LORD God spoke of the grace to be given again through his only begotten Son that shall appear as the seed of woman, only one man Noah found the grace in the eyes of God after thousand years had passed by. At that time, the gospel of God mush have been spread out to the world mouth to mouth through the word heard from Adam. Unfortunately, except Noah, all men were wicked in all their imagination of the thoughts in their heart continually to the eyes of God; and God repented that he created men, and he judged them all with the flood. Apostle Peter testified of this:.

 “For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:” (II Peter 3:05).

                  It might possible for God preach the gospel of God through Lot in the land of Sodom and Gomorrah through the words heard from Abraham. But all men except Lot were destroyed by the brimstone fire. Apostle Peter also testified of them:  ” Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. “(2 Peter 3: 6-8).

             The LORD God gave the law unto the people of Israel through Moses to have them understand their sins to be redeemed by the blood of animals. But they misunderstood of God that is pleased to see their sacrifices to the temple. In other word, they thought of themselves to be righteous through the law. They were ended up murdering the prophets that prophesied of the One that shall be their  eternal sacrificing offering for their sins of the law. They couldn’t see their king and Messiah when he appeared before them 1,500 years later. They couldn’t understand  of Jesus as the seed of woman that was declared by God as well as their sacrificing offering, and ended up nailing him on the cross unto death. Since then, two thousand years have been passed by, only small number of them believe in him even though the gospel of Christ has been preached unto them as well all nations of people.

                  Prophet Isaiah, the servant of God prophesied of the Lord God being angry with still wicked Israelites as well as all the Gentile nations as the people of the days of Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah and  coming to the earth to judge even though God has given them six thousand of years asking them to repent and enter into  his salvation plan:.

 “Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.  “(Isaiah 63: 1-4).

            In addition, the prophet Isaiah foretold about what they will eventually repent before God when the Israelites are disciplined  in the time of Jacob’s suffering.  :

” But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” (Isaiah 64: 6)  

        Then they finally will confess the Lord Jesus, as their Messiah waiting for His coming as the King  of Kings and Lord of Lords : “Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!  When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.“(Isaiah 64: 1-3)

              When they repent to wait for their Messiah, they shall confess that they understand what had been prepared for them by their God:

” For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. (Isaiah 64 :4)

           Apostle Paul testified of the same thing for the saint of the New Testament in the Spirit:

” But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. “(1 Corinthians 2: 7-10)

           The prophet Isaiah foretold that they will finally repent  in the midst of suffering, and shall confess to understand of themselves  to be created again as the new work of the Lord:   

” But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand..” (Isaiah 64: 8)

              Apostle Paul testified of  the same witness to the church of God : “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. . “(Ephesians 2:10).

              That’s right! God will finish to make the people of God as well as the church of God as his holy workmanships even though they may be small number of them with his zeal.. Amen! Hallelujah!
