This week’s meditation: Psalms 132:1-18

Scripture Psalm 133: 1-3

Title: The glory of God to be done in heaven and earth

             This Psalm is a song of David singing on the way up to the temple. The people of Israel shall go up to the temple of God  to worship their king, the Lord Jesus Christ in the restored land in the Millennium of Christ. The whole nation of Israel shall be saved when they repent their sins upon looking at the Lord Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. 

      When Jesus came in the flesh, he commanded the Jews to pray, saying, “Thy kingdom come, and Thy will be done in the earth as in heaven.”  Through the main passage, we see the scene when the will of the Father is done in earth.

         Apostle Paul testified about the future restoration of Israel to be saved whole nation of Israel:

” For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: “(Romans 11: 25-26)

           The prophet Zechariah also testified about taking away the sins of Israel when they repent with great mourning upon looking at the Lord Jesus Christ, their God whom they pierced.:

” In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness..” (Zech. 13: 1)

           That’s right! When the day come, the people of Israel shall be dwelling together in unity without any threat of terror. They shall dwell forever with joy in the eternity. They shall live  with joy, as the born again Christian dwell in the kingdom of God in the Spirit with righteousness and peace and joy(Rom. 14:17) 

        Prophet Ezekiel had foretold also their happiness  the life they enjoy in that day:

” And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the Lord have spoken it. And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. “(Ezekiel 34: 23-25).

           In that day, they shall have eternal life through the anointment of the Holy Ghost more beautiful than the dew of Hermon and the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion from the Lord Jesus Christ, the High Priest and king that is  greater than Aaron. They shall be blessed to live forever in the earth as the born again children of God shall dwell in the New Jerusalem in heaven .

          Apostle John testified in the Spirit of their happiness with their God  after they suffer through the Great Tribulation:

” And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.. “(Revelation 21: 3-4)

          He continues to write that he heard:

” And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.“(Revelation 21: 5-8)

             Apostle Paul testified of the will of God in the epistle sent to the saints in Ephesus:

” Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.“(Eph. 1: 9-12).

           Things in Christ, as Apostle Paul testified means the church of God that is the body of Christ. Apostle Paul testified, whosoever believed on the Lord Jesus Christ has been baptized into the body of Christ:

” Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?” (Romans 6:03)

            Apostle John testified in the Spirit saying the church of God  appearing as one body shall enter the city of the New Jerusalem to be a bride of Christ:

”  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband…. And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.  And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.“(Rev. 21: 2,9-23)

           Apostle Paul encouraged the Ephesian church to be sure of the hope of New Jerusalem where they shall dwell together with the Lord forever as the bride of the Lamb of God:

” That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. “(Eph 3: 17-21)

          God testified  of the eternal inheritance for the people of Israel through the prophets as well as the Lord Jesus Christ who came as a prophet. In addition, he also testified of the eternal inheritance of the New Jerusalem in heaven for the members of the church of God through the apostles of God, and also of the thing that fill all in all as the helping spouse of the Lord. When we run holding fast the hope of faith, we shall be able to rejoice always, and give thanks in everything, and overcome the world. Apostle John testified of the blessing given unto them that overcome, “He will give the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”, “They shall not be hurt of the second death.”, “He shall give to eat of the hidden manna.”, “He will give power over the nations.”, They shall be clothed in white raiment; and he will not blot out his name of the book of life” Amen! Hallelujah!
