금주의 묵상: 시편 23:1-6

본문: 갈라디아서 1:6-17

제목: 휴거의 날까지 전파되는 그리스도의 은혜의 복음

     사도 바울은 갈라디아의 교회 성도들에게 경고의 메세지를 주고 있다. 그들이 그리스도 안에서 믿음에 의하여 무조건적으로 주신 은혜의 복음에서 떠나 다른 복음을 따랐기 때문이었다. 다른 복음은 없으며 예수 그리스도께서 우리의 죄들을 위하여 피흘려 죽으시고 장사되셨다가 셋째 날에 부활하심을 전심으로 믿어 회심한 자들에게 모든 죄들을 용서하심으로써 영원한 생명을 주신 무조건적인 선물인 은혜에 어떤 무엇이라도 섞는 것은 그리스도의 복음을 변개하는 것이라고 경고했다.  뿐만 아니라 하늘에서 온 천사라도 사도 바울과 그의 동역자들이 전한 은혜의 복음 외에 어떤 다른 복음을 전한다면 그는 저주를 받으리라고 선포했다.

     하나님께서는 성경 66권 안에 죄인들을 향한 하나님의 은혜의 복음이 넘처흐르고 있다. 하나님 아버지를 통하여, 또, 그의 독생자 예수 그리스도를 통하여 그리고 성령께서 사도 바울과 그의 동역자들을 통하여 주시고 있는 것이다. 하나님께서 주신 은혜에 그 어떤 것이라도 섞는다면 예수 그리스도께서 흘리신 피를 모독하는 것이 되기 때문에 사도 바울은 저주를 받으리라고 천명한 것이다. 오래전 선지자 이사야는 사람들의 의가 얼마나 불결한 것인지에 대해 강력하게 증거했다:

“그러나 우리는 다 불결한 것 같고, 우리의 모든 의는 더러운 걸레 같으며, 또 우리는 다 잎사귀처럼 시들며 우리의 죄악들은 바람처럼 우리를 옮겨갔나이다.”(사 64:6)

     첫 사람이 범죄하여 죄가 세상에 들어왔을 때 여호와 하나님 자신이 직접 은혜의 복음을 선포하셨다.  하나님께서는 옛 뱀 마귀에게 복음을 선포하셨다: “네가 이것을 행하였으니, 너는 모든 가축과 들의 모든 짐승보다 저주를 받아 네 배로 다닐 것이며 네 평생토록 흙을 먹을지니라. 내가 너와 여자 사이에, 또 네 씨와 그녀의 씨 사이에 적의를 두리니, 그녀의 씨는 너의 머리를 부술 것이요, 너는 그의 발꿈치를 부술 것이라.”(창 3:14, 15)

다시 말해서 장차 이스라엘을 자신의 아내로 삼아 자신의 독생자를 예수라는 이름으로 유대인으로 태어나게 하셔서 세상에 죄를 가져온 마귀를 멸하시고 아들의 피를 온 세상에 뿌려 세상 죄를 제거하심으로써 사람들을 사망으로부터 생명을 옮기시는 은혜를 베푸실  것을 미리 말씀하신 것이다. 이 은혜의 복음을 먼저 아담과 그의 아내에게 베푸시기 위하여 그들에게 가죽으로 옷을 만들어 입히심으로써 죄로 인한 그들의 수치를 가려주셨다. 그들로 인하여 죄없는 짐승 두 마리가 피를 흘리게 하심으로써 “피흘림이 없이는 죄사함이 없느니라.”(히 9:22)는 공의의 법을 미리 선포하셨다. 오랜 후에 모세를 부르시고 이스라엘 백성에게 율법을 주시고 하나님의 독생자가 오실 때까지 짐승의 피를 흘리게 하심으로써 그들의 죄들을 잠시 덮어주시고 그들이 죽은 후에 아브라함의 품 안에 있게 하시다가 그리스도께서 피를 쏟으시고 죽으셨다가 부활 하셨을 때에 그들을 살리시어 셋째 하늘로 데려가신 것이다. 이 사실을 본 마태는 이렇게 증거했다: “그런데, 보라, 성전의 휘장이 위에서 아래까지 둘로 찢어지고 땅이 흔들리며, 바위들이 갈라지고 무덤들이 열리며 잠들었던 많은 성도들의 몸이 일어났으며 주께서 부활하신 후에 무덤에서 나와 거룩한 도성으로 들어가 많은 사람들에게 나타나더라. 백부장과 그와 함꼐 예수를 지키고 있던 사람들은 지진과 그 일어난 일들을 보고 크게 두려워하며 말하기를 ‘참으로 이 사람은 하나님의 아들이었도다.’라고 하더라.”(마 27:51-54)

     하나님 아버지께서 친히 복음을 전하신 뒤를 이어 아들이신 예수 그리스도께서 자신을 통하여 이루실 은혜의 복음에 대하여 제자들에게 친히 말씀하셨다. 주님께서 잡혀가시던 날 올리브 산에 있는 겟세마네에서 기도하시기 전에 제자들에게 친히 자신이 주실 은혜에 대하여 말씀하셨다: “:그들이 먹고 있을 때에, 예수께서 빵을 가지고 축복하신 후 떼어 제자들에게 주시며 말씀하시기를 ‘받아 먹으라. 이것은 나의 몸이니라.’고 하시고 또 잔을 가지고 감사를 드린 후에 그들에게 주시며 말씀하시기를 ‘이것을 모두 마시라. 이는 이것이 죄들을 사하심으로 인하여 많은 사람을 위해 흘리는 나의 새 언약의 피이기 때문이라. 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 이제부터 내가 너희와 함께 내 아버지의 왕국에서 새 것으로 마시는 그날까지 이 포도 열매에서 난 것을 마시지 아니하리라.”(마 26:26-29)

주님께서는 앞으로 그를 믿고 그를 영접하게 될 많은 사람들의 죄들을 이미 용서하셨기 때문에 찢기실 자신의 몸과 쏟으실 자신의 피를 말씀하신 것이다. 그를 믿기만 하면 조건 없이 영원한 생명을 주실 은혜의 복음을 말씀하신 것이다. 주님께서는 자신과 함께 십자가에서 피를 흘리며 죽어가는 한 행악자가 예수님께 “주여, 주께서 주의 왕국에 임하실 때 나를 기억하소서.”라고 하였을 때, “진실로 내가 너에게 말하노니, 오늘 네가 나와 함께 낙원에 있으리라.”고 말씀하시면서 그를 그날에 은혜로 구원하셨다(눅 23:42,43).

     마침내 부활하신 예수께서 제자들을 만나 은혜의 복음을 전파하라고 말씀하셨다: “’이런 것이 내가 너희와 함께 있을 때 말했던 바 모세의 율법과 선지서들과 시편에 나에 관하여 기록된 모든 것이 이루어져야 한다던 그 말이니라.’고 하시고 그때 지각을 열어 성경을 깨닫게 하시니라. 또 그들에게 말씀하시기를 ‘그리스도가 고난을 당하는 것과 죽은자들로부터 셋째 날에 살아나는 것이 기록되었으며, 또 그렇게 되어야 마땅하니라. 예루살렘에서 시작하여 모든 민족 가운데 그의 이름으로 회개와 죄사함이 선포되어야 하리라. 너희가 이런 일의 증인이니라.”(눅 24:44-48)

“너희는 온 세상에 가서 모든 피조물에게 복음을 전파하라. 믿고 침례를 받는 자는 구원을 받을 것이나 믿지 않는 자는 정죄함을 받으리라.”(막 16:15,16)

“하늘과 땅에 있는 모든 권세를 나에게 주셨도다. 그러므로 너희는 가서 모든 민족들을 가르치고, 아버지와 아들과 성령의 이름으로 침례를 주며 내가 너희에게 명령한 것을 가르쳐 지키게 하라. 보라. 내가 세상 끝까지 너희와 항상 함께 있으리라.”(마 28:19,20)

     이스라엘의 왕으로 오신 예수님을 먼저 유대인들에게 증거하던 침례인 요한은 그들이 회개할 것을 외쳤지만 자기 백성이 그를 영접하지 아니하였을 때 요한도 은혜의 복음을 증거했다: “그러나 누구든지 그를 영접한 사람들에게는 하나님의 아들들이 되는 권세를 주셨으니, 즉 그의 이름을 믿는 자들에게니라. 그들은 혈로나 육신의 뜻으로나 또한 사람의 뜻으로 나지 아니하였고 하나님에게서 난 자들이라….율법은 모세를 통하여 받았지만 은혜와 진리는 예수 그리스도를 통하여 온 것이라.”(요 1:12,13,17)

     예수께서는 자신을 찾아온 니고데모에게 자신을 믿어 영접하는 자들이 성령으로 거듭나서 하나님의 나라에 들어갈 것을 미리 증거하셨다:

“진실로 진실로 내가 너에게 말허노니, 사람이 거듭나지 아니하면 하나님 나라를 볼 수 없느니라….. 진실로 진실로 내가 너에게 말하노니, 사람이 물과  성령으로 나지 아니하면 하나님의 나라에 들어갈 수 없느니라. 육신으로 난 것은 육이요, 또 성령으로 난 것은 영이니라.”(요 3:3,5,6)

연이어 예수께서는 은혜의 복음을 선포하셨다: “모세가 광야에서 뱀을 들어올린 것같이 인자도 그렇게 들어올려져야 하리니 이는 그를 믿는 사람은 누구든지 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이니라. 하나님께서 세상을 이처럼 사랑하셔서 그의 독생자를 주셨으니, 이는 그를 믿는 사람은 누구든지 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이니라. 하나님께 자기 아들을 세상에 보내신 것은 세상을 정죄하려 하심이 아니요, 그를 통하여 세상이 구원받게 하려 하심이라. 아들을 믿는 사람은 정죄를 받지 아니하나 믿지 않는 사람은 이미 정죄를 받은 것이라. 이는 그 사람이 하나님의 독생자를 믿지 않았기 때문이라.”(요 3:14-18)

     썩을 것만을 찾는 유대인들을 향하여 예수께서는 생명을 은혜로 주실 것에 대해 말씀하셨다: “나는 하늘에서 내려온 살아있는 빵이니 누구든지 이 빵을 먹으면 영원히 살리라. 또 내가 줄 이 빵은 세상의 생명을 위하여 줄 나의 살이라… 진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 너희가 인자의 살을 먹지 않고 또 그의 피를 마시지 아니하면 너희 안에 생명이 없느니라. 내 살을 먹고 내 피를 마시는 자는 누구든지 영원한 생명을 가졌나니 내가 그를 마지막 날에 살리리라. 이는 내 살은 참된 양식이요, 내 피는 참된 음료임이라….살리는 것은 영이니, 육은 전혀 무익하니라. 내가 너희에게 한 말들은 영이요 생명이라.”(요 6:51,52,53,54,55,63)

    나사로를 살리시기 전에 마르다에게 또 한 번 은혜의 복음을 전하셨다: “나는 부활이요, 생명이니 나를 믿는 자는 죽어도 살 것이며 또 살아서 나를 믿는 자는 영원히 죽지 아니하리라. 네가 이것을 믿느냐?”(요 11:25,26)

     이 은혜의 복음을 예수 그리스도로부터 직접 전해받은 사도 바울은 고린도 교회 성도들에게 은혜로 구원을 주시는 그리스도의 복음을 증거했다: “형제들아, 내가 너희에게 전한 복음을 이제 너희로 알게 하노니 이는 너희가 받았고 그 안에 선 것이라. 만일 너희가 내가 전한 복음을 굳게 잡고 헛되이 믿지 아니하였다면 복음을 통하여 너희도 구원을 받은 것이라. 내가 받은 것을 먼저 너희에게 전달하였나니 이는 성경대로 그리스도께서 우리의 죄들로 인하여 죽으시고 장사되셧다가 성경대로 셋째 날에 다시 살아나셔서 게바에게 보이시고 그후에 열두 사도에게 보이신 것이라.”(고전 15;1-5)

     사도 바울은 예수 그리스도께서 우리의 죄들을 위하여 죽으시고 부활하시려고 이 땅에 오신 궁극적인 목적에 대하여 증거했다: “자녀들이 피와 살에 참여하는 자인 것같이 그 역시 같은 모양으로 동일한 것에 참여하신 것은 자신의 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 가진 자, 곧 마귀를 멸망시키시며 또 죽음을 두려워하므로 평생을 노예로 속박되어 있는 자들을 놓아주시려 함이니라.”(히 2:14,15)

사도 요한도 동일한 증거를 했다: “죄를 짓는 자는 마귀에게 속하나니 이는 마귀가 처음부터 죄를 짓기 때문이라. 이 목적으로 하나님의 아들이 나타나셨으니, 곧 마귀의 일들을 멸하시려는 것이라.”(요일 3:8)

     또한 성령께서는 사도 바울을 통하여 예수 그리스도를 믿고 구원받아 성령으로 거듭난 로마에 있는 그리스도인들이 받은 영원한 보장에 대하여 증거했다:

“하나님께서 택하신 자들에게 누가 혐의를 씌우리요? 의롭다 하신 분은 하나님이시니라. 누가 정죄하리요? 죽었다가 살아나신 분은 그리스도시라. 그분은 또한 하나님 오른 편에 게셔서 우리를 위하여 중보하시느니라. 누가 우리를 그리스도의 사랑에서 떼어놓을 수 있으리요? 환난이나 곤경이나 박해나 기근이나 헐벗음이나 위험이나 칼이랴? 기록된 바와 같으니 ‘우리가 주를 위하여 온종일 죽임을 당하였으며 도살당할 양으로 여김을 받았나이다.’라고 하였느니라. 그러나 이 모든 일에서 우리를 사랑하시는 그분으로 말미암아 우리가 이기는 자들보다 더 나으니라. 내가 확신하노니 사망이나 생명이나, 천사들이나 정사들이나 권세들이나 현재의 일들이나 다가올 일들이나, 높음이나 깊음이나, 어떤 피조물이라도 우리를 그리스도 예수 우리 주 안에 있는 하나님의 사랑에서 떼어놓을 수 없으리라.”(롬 8:33-39)

     사도 바울은 에베소 교회에 있는 성도들에게도 은혜의 복음과 구원의 영원한 보장에 대하여 증거했다:

“너희가 믿음으로 말미암아 은혜로 구원을 받았으니 이것은 너희에게서 난 것이 아니요, 하나님의 선물이라. 행위에서 난 것이 아니니 아무도 자랑하지 못하게 하려 하심이라.”(엡 2:8,9)

“그분 안에서 너희도 진리의 말씀, 곧 너희 구원의 복음을 듣고서 그분을 신뢰하였으니 또 너희가 그분을 믿고서 약속의 그 성령으로 인침을 받은 것이니라. 이는 값 주고 사신 그 소유를 구속하기까지 우리의 유업의 보증이 되사 그의 영광을 찬양하게 하려 하심이라.”(엡 1:13,14)

     예수께서도 자신을 통하여 생명을 받은 양들의 구원에 대하여 분명하게 말씀하셨다: “내가 그들에게 영생을 주노니 그들은 영원히 멸망하지 않을 것이며, 또 아무도 나의 손에서 그들을 빼앗지 못할 것이라.”(요 10:28)

     사도 요한은 계시록에서 성경의 마지막 약속을 증거하면서 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜를 위한 기도를 했다: “이런 일들을 증거하신 분이 말씀하시기를 ‘반드시 내가 속히 오리라.’ 하시니라. 아멘. 그러하옵니다. 주 예수여, 오시옵소서. 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 너희 모두와 함께 있을지어다.. 아멘.”(계 22:20,21)

Meditation of the week: Psalms 23:1-6

Main scripture: Galatians 1:6-17

Subject: The gospel of grace of Christ to be preached by the day of Rapture

     Apostle Paul gave a warning message unto the saints of Galatians church, for some of them followed another gospel departing from the gospel of grace that gives unconditional salvation by faith in Christ. He warned that it is the way to mix something else in the gospel of Christ that died for our sins shedding blood, and buried, and rose again the third day; And whosoever believe in with all the heart receives the remission of sin to receive the eternal life. He also proclaimed, though an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto them that which Paul and his co-labors preached unto them, let him be accursed.

     There are flowing out the gospel of grace in the 66 books in the word of God. This gospel has been preached by the Father God, and by his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, and by Apostle Paul and his fellow servants in the Holy Ghost. Apostle Paul proclaimed of the curse, for it is the way to insult the blood of Jesus Christ, if anyone mix anything else in the grace of God. Prophet Isaiah testified of the righteousness of man very clearly: But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”(Isa. 64:6)

     Jehovah God himself proclaimed the gospel of grace, when sin came to the world through the sin of the first man:

“Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”(Gen. 3:14, 15)

In other word, the LORD God foretold of Israel to be his wife that will give birth to the only begotten Son, Jesus as a Jew; and destroy the devil that brought forth sin to the world; and sprinkle the blood of his Son to take away the sin of the world; and give the grace moving the believers from death to life. To give this grace to Adam and Eve, the LORD God covered their shame of nakedness clothing them with coats of skins. Because of them, two animals had to die for them shedding blood through which God proclaimed the law of righteousness, “Without shedding of blood is no remission.”(Heb. 9:22)

The LORD God called Moses after long time passes by, and gave the people of Israel the law; and he had covered their sins by the blood of animals until the only begotten Son, Jesus came; and sent them to the bosom of Abraham. Finally God raised them with Jesus Christ to be translated into the third heaven when he rose again from the dead after he shed his blood. Matthew testified seeing this scene saying:

“And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. “(Matt. 27:51-54)

     Following the Father God, Jesus the Son of God explained about the gospel of grace that will be done by him. On the day of arrest, Jesus said to his disciples about the grace to be given through him before he prayed at the Gethsemane:

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.”(Matt. 26:26-29)

The Lord Jesus had already forgiven the sins of many people that will receive him by faith; so he talked about his flesh to be torn and his blood to be shed. He was talking about the unconditional gospel of grace that will give the eternal life, if anyone believes in him. When a malefactor crucified with Jesus together spoke to him, “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, “Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. “Luke 23:42, 43) The malefactor was saved on that day by grace.

     Finally, Jesus asked his disciples to preach the gospel of grace after he rose again:

“These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.”(Luke 24:44-48)

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”(Mark 16:15, 16)

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”(Matt. 28:19, 20)

     John the Baptist testified of Jesus, the King of Israel to the Jew, and asked them to repent. But his people rejected to receive their King. Then he also preached the gospel of grace:

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God….  ¹⁷For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”(John 1:12, 13, 17)

     Jesus testified to Nicodemus who visited him of the kingdom of God for them that believe on him by faith to be born again: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. ….Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.    ⁶That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”(John 3:3,5,6)

     Jesus continued to preach the gospel of grace unto Nicodemus:

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. ⁶For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”(John 3:14-18)

     Jesus testified of the eternal life given as grace towards the Jew that was pursuing the corruptible things:

“I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed….   ⁶³It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. “(John 6:51-55, 63)

     Right before Jesus raised Lazarus to life, he preached the gospel of grace unto Martha: “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”(John 11:25, 26)

     Apostle Paul who was delivered the gospel of grace from the Lord Jesus preached the gospel of Christ unto the Corinthians:

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: “(1Cor. 15:1-5)

     Apostle Paul testified of the reason why Jesus came to the earth to die for our sins, and to rise again:

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. “(Heb. 2:14, 15)

     Apostle John also made the same testimony as Paul:

“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. “(1John 3:8)

     Apostle Paul also testified of the eternal security of salvation unto the saints in Rome that were born again Christians: ^“Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”(Rom. 8:33-39)

     Apostle Paul also testified of the eternal security of the salvation through the gospel of grace unto the saints of Ephesians: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”(Eph. 2:8, 9)

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. “(Eph. 1:13, 14)

     Jesus also clarified of the salvation of his sheep that received the eternal life through him: “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck out of my hand.”(John 10:28)

     Testifying the final promise in the word of God, Apostle John prayed for the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ:

“He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”(Rev. 22:20, 21)  Hallelujah!
