금주의 묵상: 시편 32:1-11

본문: 창세기 6:5-9

제목: 노아처럼 그리스도의 눈에서 은혜를 찾는 신부들의 축복

     하나님의 사람 모세는 창세기를 기록하면서 하나님께서 홍수로 세상을 심판하실 수밖에 없었던 것과 또한 노아 한 사람만이 믿음으로 하나님과 동행했다는 사실을 기록하고 있다. 그 많은 사람 가운데 어떻게 노아 한 사람만이 주의 눈에서 은혜를 찾아 그분을 신뢰함으로 하나님과 동행하였는지 진정 이것이 사실일지언정 하나님께서 땅 위에 사람을 지으신 것을 후회하실 수밖에 없었던 심정을 이해하고도 남을 것이다. 노아 이전에 에녹이 믿음으로 하나님과 동행하다가 홍수 이전에 하늘로 들려올라갔으며 이제 그의 자손 가운데 오직 노아 한 사람만이 하나님의 은혜를 신뢰하며 그분과 동행한 것이다.

     에녹은 홍수 이전 즉, 대환란 이전에 죽음을 보지 않고 휴거될 그리스도의 신부들을 예표하며, 노아는 대 환란 때에 하나님의 보호하심 가운데 적그리스도로부터 구원받을 유대인들을 예표하는 것이다. 사도 요한은 이스라엘이 대 환란 때에 적그리스도로부터 구원받는 장면을 보고 증거했다:

“그 용이 자기가 땅으로 쫓겨난 것을 알고서 사내아이를 출산한 그 여인을 박해하더라. 그때 그 여인이 큰 독수리의 두 날개를 받았는데, 이는 그녀가 광야에 있는 자기 처소로 날아가서 그곳에서 그 뱀의 낯을 피하여 한 때와 두 때와 반 때를 부양받으려 함이더라. 그 뱀이 여인 두이에다 자기 입에서 물을 홍수같이 쏟아 그 여인을 홍수에 떠내려가게 하려 하되 그 땅이 그 여인을 도와 그 입을 벌려 용이 그 입에서 쏟은 홍수를 삼켜 버리더라.”(계 12:13-16)

     주님께서는 자신이 재림하실 때 나타날 징조에 대하여 말씀하실 때에 노아의 때와 같을 것을 말씀하셨다: “그러나 노아의 날들에 그들이 먹고 마시며, 장가가고 시집가고 하기를 , 노아가 방주로 들어가던 날까지 하다가 홍수가 나서 그들을 모두 다 쓸어버릴 때까지 그들이 알지 못하였던 것같이 인자의 오는 것도 그러하리라. 그 때에 두 사람이 밭에 있는데, 한 사람은 데려가게 되고 한 사람은 남게 되리라. 두 여인이 맷돌을 갈고 있다가, 한 사람은 데려가게 되고 한 사람은 남게 되리라.”( 마24:37-41)

     예수께서 자신이 재림하실 때  이 세상에서는 노아 때와 같은 동일한 일들이 벌어질 것을 말씀하신 것은 어떤 의미가 있는 것일까?

     첫째로, 하나님의 눈에서 은혜를 찾는 사람이 너무도 적을 것이라는 것이 아니겠는가? 그 당시 단 한 사람 노아만이 하나님의 눈에서 은혜를 찾으면서 그분을 신뢰하면서 그분과 동행했다고 성경은 분명하게 말씀하신다. 예수께서는 물의한 재판관과 과부의 예를 통해서 “ 그러나 인자가 올 때에 그가 세상에서 믿음을 찾아볼 수 있겠느냐?”(눅 18:8)라고 분명하게 말씀하셨다.

     둘째로, 교회에 읹아있는 사람들을 포함해서 대부분의 사람들이 다시 오실 주 예수 그리스도의 눈에서 은혜를 찾지 않고 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 생의 자랑을 추구하면서 살고 있을 것을 말씀하신 것이다. 이 마지막 때에 일어날 일 가운데 하나님의 교회에 닥칠 일에 대하여 사도 베드로는 이렇게 증거했다: “그러나 만일 너희가 그리스도인으로서 고난을 당하면 부끄러워하지 말고 오히려 그 일로 인하여 하나님께 영광을 돌리라. 이는 하나님의 집에서 심판을 시작해야 할 때가 되었음이니 만일 그 심판이 우리에게서부터 먼저 시작되면 하나님의 복음에 순종하지 않는 자들의 종말은 어떠하겠느냐? 만일 의인들이 겨우 구원을 받는다면 , 경건치 못한 자들과 그 죄인은 어디에 나타나겠느냐? 그러므로 하나님의 뜻에 따라 고난을 받는 사람들은 선을 행하면서, 신실하신 창조주께 그들의 혼을 지키시도록 맡길지어다.”(벧전 4:16-19)

     그렇다면, 이 마지막 때에 어떤 사람이 에녹이나 노아처럼 구원받아 주님을 만날 수 있는 것인가? 다시 말해서 어떤 사람이 그리스도의 신부로서 예비되고 있는 사람들인가? 또 어떤 사람들이 주님이 오실 때에 버림받을 자들인가? 사도 바울은 이에 대하여 증거했다 여러 말로 증거했다: “육신을 따르는 사람들은 육신의 일들을 생각하나 성령을 따르는 사람들은 성령의 일을 생각하느니라. 육신적으로 생각하는 것은 사망이나 영적으로 생각하는 것은 생명과 화평이니라. 육신적인 생각은 하나님과 원수가 되나니 그것은 하나님의 법에 복종하지 않을뿐만 아니라 실로 할 수도 없음이라. 그러므로 육신 안에 있는 자들은 하나님을 기쁘시게 할 수 없느니라. 그러나 하나님의 영이 너희 안에 거하시면 너희가 육신 안에 있지 아니하고 성령 안에 있나니 이제 누구든지 그리스도의 영이 없으면 그의 사람이 아니니라…. 무릇 하나님의 영으로 인도함을 받는 이들은 곧 하나님의 아들들이니라.”(롬 8:5-9, 14)

     또한 사도 바울은 그리스도께서 오실 때에 휴거될 성도들에 대하여 “그리스도께서 오실 때 그분께 속한 사람들이라.”(고전 15:23)고 증거했으며 “그분께 속한 사람들에 대하여 “그리스도께 속한 사람은 그 육신을 욕정과 정욕과 함께 십자가에 못박았다.”(갈 5:24)고 확실하게 증거했는 바, 그들은 하나님의 영이 있는 자들로서 성령의 열매를 맺는 자들이라고 증거했다. 예수께서도 거짓 선지자들에 대하여 말씀하실 때에 그들의 열매로 그들을 알 수 있다고 말씀하셨다:

“거짓 선지자들을 조심하라. 그들은 양의 옷을 입고 너희에게 나아오나 속은 약탈하는 이리들이라. 너희는 그들의 열매로 그들을 알게 되리니, 사람이 가시나무에서 포도를, 또 엉겅퀴에서 무화과를 거둘 수 있겠느냐? 이와 같이 좋은 나무마다 좋은 열매를 맺고, 나쁜 나무는 나쁜 열매를 맺느니라. 좋은 나무가 나쁜 열매를 맺을 수 없으며, 나쁜 나무가 좋은 열매를 맺을 수 없느니라. 좋은 열매를 맺지 못하는 나무마다 찍혀서 불에 던져지리라. 그러므로 너희는 그들의 열매들을 보고 그들을 알게 되리라.”(마 7:15-20)

    또한 사도 바울은 구원받은 노아의 믿음에 대하여 증거했다:

“믿음으로 노아는 아직 보지 못한 일들에 대해 하나님의 경고하심을 받고 두려움으로 행하여 방주를 예비함으로 자기 집안을 구원하였으니, 그것을 통하여 세상을 정죄하고 믿음에 의한 의의 상속자가 되었느니라.”(히 11:7)

그렇다면, 노아 때처럼 사악한 세상에 살고 있는 우리들에게 주시는 하나님의 경고가 무엇인가? 이 하나님의 경고 또한 아직 우리 눈에 나타나지 않은 것들인 것이다. 사도 바울은 기독교계의 배교와 휴거, 그리고 멸망의 아들 적그리스도가 나타남에 대하여 성령 안에서 분명하게 증거했다:

“아무도 너희를 어떤 모양으로든지 너희를 미혹하지 못하게 하라. 이는 먼저 배교하는 일이 이르지 않고서는  그 날(휴거의 날)이 오지 오지 아니함이라. 그리고나서 그 죄의 사람 곧 멸망의 이들(적그리스도)이 나타나리라…불법의 신비가 이미 활동하고 있나니 현재는 막는 자가 있어 막을 것이나 그가 그 길에서 옮겨질 때까지만 그리하리라. 그리고 나서 그 악한 자가 나타나리니 주께서 그 입에서 나오는 영으로 소멸하시고  그이 찬란한 오심으로 제거하시리라.”(살후2:3,7,8)

     그렇다! 불법의 신비가 이미 활동하고 있가 때문에 그리스도께 속한 성령의 사람들은 고난을 받을 수밖에 없는 것이다. 노아는 “의의 전파자”라고 사도 베드로가 증거했는 바(벧후 2:5) 다가올 심판에 대하여 증거했기 때문이다. 오늘날에도 우리가 다가올 휴거와 대환란 그리고 천년왕국에 대하여 경고하면 고난을 받게 되는 것이다. 그러나 하나님께서는 자신의 눈이 우리를 향하시고 보호하고 계시기 때문에 평안 가운데 주님을 기다릴 수 있는 것이다. 사도 베드로는 이렇게 증거했다: “너희가 그리스도의 이름을 위하여 욕을 당하면 복이 있느니라. 이는 영광의 영 곧 하나님의 영께서 너희 위에서 안식하고 게시기 때문이니라. 그들의 편에서는 그분께서 비방을 당하시나, 너희의 편에서는 영광을 받으시느니라.”(벧전 4:14)

또한 다윗왕이 증거한 말씀을 인용하여 증거했다:

“주의 눈은 의인을 향하시고, 그의 귀는 그들의 기도에 열려 있으시나, 주의 얼굴은 악을 행하는 자들을 대적하시느니라.”(벧전 3;12, 시 34:15))

     주를 위하여 온갖 고난을 당한 믿음의 사람인 다윗왕은 그의 경험을 통해 마지막 때에 살고 있는 우리들에게 이렇게 증거하고 있다:

“보라, 주의 눈이 그를 두려워하는 자들 위에 있으며 그의 자비를 바라는 자들 위에 있어 그들의 혼을 사망에서 구해내시며 기근 속에서도 그들을 살게 하시는도다.”(시 33:18,19)

“이로 인하여 경건한 자는 누구나 주를 만날 수 있을 때에 주께 기도하리니 진실로 큰 물들의 홍수들일지라도 그에게 미치지 못하리이다. 주는 나의 은신처시니 주께서 고난으로부터 나를 보호하시며 구원의 노래들로 나를 두르시리이다. 셀라. 네가 가야 할 길을 내가 네게 지시하고 가르치리니 내가 너를 내 눈으로 인도하리라.”(시 32:6-8) 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 32:1-11

Main scripture: Genesis 6:5-9

Subject: The Bride of Christ finding grace in His eyes

      Writing Genesis, Moses, man of God manifested the reason why the LORD God couldn’t help judging the world with the flood; and he wrote; only Noah was walking with the LORD by faith. If it was true that only Noah among the whole population found the grace in the eyes of the LORD to trust in Him and to walk with Him, it may be enough for to understand the heart of God that repented that he had made man on the earth. Before Noah, Enoch was walking with God by faith; and he was translated before the flood. Now only Noah, one of his children trusted in the grace of God, and walked with him.

     Enoch is the model of the Bride of Christ that shall be translated before the flood, that is the Great Tribulation; and Noah the model of the Jews that shall be delivered from the Anti-Christ in the Great Tribulation in the midst of God’s protection. Apostle John testified of the Israel that shall be saved from the Anti-Christ:

“And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. “(Rev. 12:13-16)

     When Jesus spoke to his disciples of the signs that shall be appearing before his Second Coming, it’ll be same as the time of Noah:

 “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”(Matt. 24:37-41)

     Let us find out the signs of His Second Coming as the same things shall be happening as Jesus said:

     Firstly, there shall be few that find grace in the eyes of God. The scripture says very clearly that only Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD, and trusted in him, and walked with Him. When Jesus spoke of a parable of the unjust judge and a widow, he also confirmed of this saying, “Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”(Luke 18:8)

     Secondly, Almost of all including the people sitting in the churches for worship shall not find grace in the eyes of the Lord Jesus only following the lust of the flesh, and the lust of eyes, and the pride of the current life. Apostle Peter testified of the thing that shall happen to the church of God among many things to happen in the last days:

“Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.”(1Pet. 4:16-19)

     Then, who shall be the one that shall see the Lord Jesus as Enoch and Noah? In other word, who is the one that is prepared as the bride of Christ? And who shall be forsaken when Christ comes? Apostle Paul testified of this:

 “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. …. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. “(Rom. 8:5-9, 14)

     Apostle Paul testified of the saints that shall be translated (Raptured) when Christ comes saying, “They that are Christ's at his coming.”(1Cor. 15:23)  ^“And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts “(Gal. 5:24). They must have the Spirit of God bringing forth the fruit of the Spirit continuously. Jesus spoke of the false prophets that shall be revealed by their fruits:

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. “(Matt. 7:15-20)

     Apostle Paul testified of the faith of Noah that was saved:

“By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.”(Heb. 11:7)

Then what is the warning towards us that are living in the wicked world as the time of Noah? His warning has not been seen yet also. Apostle Paul testified of the falling away of the Christianity, and the Rapture, and the appearing of the Anti-Christ in the Spirit very clearly:

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;…..   ⁷For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”(2Thes. 2:3, 7,8)

     Yea! The mystery of iniquity does already work; this is the reason why the men of the Holy Ghost cannot avoid afflictions; Apostle Peter testified of Noah as a preacher of righteousness (2Pet. 2:5), for he testified of the judgment to come. Even today, we warn of the things to come such as the Rapture, and the Great Tribulation, and the Millennium of Jesus Christ. But the eyes of God are towards us to protect them so that we may be able to wait for Him in peace.

Apostle Peter testified of this:

“If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.”(1Pet. 4;14)

He also testified quoting the word of King David saying, “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.”(1Pet. 3:12, Ps 34:15)

       King David, man of faith who experienced all kinds of suffering is testifying unto us through his experiences:

^“Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.”(Ps. 33; 18, 19)

“For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him. Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. “(Ps. 32:6-8) Amen! Hallelujah!
