금주의 묵상: 시편 104:1-35

본문: 잠언 8:22-36

제목: 하나님의 지혜를 받았는가?

     본문에서 솔로몬 왕은 성령의 기름부음을 통하여 태초에 말씀으로 계셨던 주 예수 그리스도께서 아버지 하나님과 함께 천지를 창조하시던 때의 광경을 성령 안에서 증거하고 있다. 주님의 사랑하시던 제자인 사도 요한도 동일한 성령 안에서 분명하게 증거했다:

"태초에 말씀이 계셨고, 그 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니, 그 말씀은 하나님이셨느니라. 그 말씀이 태초에 하나님과 함께 계셨느니라. 만물은 그에 의하여 지은 바 되었으며, 이미 지음 받은 것 가운데 그가 없이 지어진 것은 아무 것도 없더라….그 말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시므로, (우리가 그 영광을 보니, 아버지의 독생자의 영광으로) 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라….태초부터 계셨고, 우리가 들었으며, 우리 눈으로 보았고, 주목하여 살폈으며, 우리 손으로 직접 만졌던, 생명의 말씀에 관해서라. 그 생명이 나타나시매 우리가 보았고 증거하였으며 너희에게 그 영원한 생명을 보여 주었으니, 그 생명은 아버지와 함께 계셨으며 우리에 나타나셨느니라."(요 1;1-3,14, 요일 1:1,2)

       사도 바울도 동일한 성령 안에서 동일한 증거를 했다: "그는 보이지 않는 하나님의 형상이시며 모든 피조물의 첫태생이시니 이는 만물이 그에 의하여 창조되되 하늘에 있는 것들과 보이는 것들과 보이지 않는 것들과 보좌들이나 주권들이나 정사들이나 권세들이나 만물이 그에 의하여 또 그를 위하여 창조되었기 때문이라. 그는 만물 이전에 계시고 또 만물은 그로 말미암아 존속하느니라. 그는 몸인 교회의 머리시라. 그는 시작이시며 죽은 자들로부터 첫 번째로 나셨으니 이는 그가 만물 안에서 으뜸이 되려 하심이라."(골 1:15-18)

         시편 기자도 하나님께서 지혜로 천지를  창조 하심에 대하여 "지혜로 하늘들을 지으신 그분께 감사하라.  그의 자비가 영원히 지속됨이라."(시 136:5)고 증거했다. 또한 선지자 이사야는 하나님의 영에 대하여 증거하기를 "지혜와 명철의 영이요, 계획과 능력의 영이며, 지식과 주를 두려워하는 영이라."(사 11:2)고 증거했다. 또한 솔로몬 왕은 지혜와 지식에 대하여 "주를 두려워하는 것이 지식의 시작이거늘, 어리석은 자들은 지혜와 훈계를 멸시하느니라….주를 두려워하는 것이 지혜의 시작이요, 거룩한 이에 대한 지식은 명철이니라."(잠 1;7; 9:10)고 증거했다.

그랗다! 하나님의 영을 받은 자만이 하나님을 알고 그분을 두려워하는 지혜를 받게 되는 것이다.

       하나님께서는 선지자 이사야를 통하여 자신들을 창조하신 하나님을 모르는 어리석은 백성들을 향하여 책망하셨다: "소도 자기 주인을 알고 나귀도 자기 주인의 구유를 알건만, 이스라엘은 알지 못하고 나의 백성은 깨닫지 못하는도다.. 아, 죄지은 민족이요, 죄악을 짊어진 백성이요, 향악자들의 씨앗이요, 부패한 자손들이여! 그들은 주를 버렸고 그들은 이스라엘의 거룩한 분을 성나게 하였으며, 그들은 타락하여 멀리 갔도다.'(사 1:3,4)

       시편 기자는 자기 주인을 아는 모든 짐승들에 대하여 "이것들이 모두 주를 기다리오니 이는 주께서 때를 따라 그들에게 먹이를 주심이니이다. 주께서 그들에게 주시면 그들이 모이고, 주께서 주의 손을 펴시면 그들이 좋은 것으로 채워지나이다. 주께서 얼굴을 숨기시면 그들은 곤란해지며, 주께서 그들의 숨을 거두어 가시면 그들이 죽어서 그들의 흙으로 돌아가나이다."(시 104:27-29)

그렇다! 우리가 우습게 여기는 짐승들은 모두가 주님을 알고 있다. 다시 말해서 주 예수 그리스도께서 그들을 창조하신 주인임을 알고 그분을 두려워하고 있으며 때를 따라 양식을 공급받는 것을 알고 있는 것이다. 그러나 오로지 사람들만이 교만해서 자신들을 지으신 그분을 알지도 못하고 두려워하지도 못하는 것은 죄인임을 깨닫고 회개하지 못하여 그분의 영을 받지 못한 까닭인 것이다. 예수 그리스도를 믿지 않는 사람들은 마치 자신이 살고 있는 집이 어느누군가도 만든적이 없이 저절로 생겼다고 생각하면서 사는 어리석은 사람인 것이다. 다시 말해서 짐승만도 못한 것이다. 세상에서 살고 있는 집도 누군가 지은 사람이 있는데 하물며 자신의 영과 혼이 살고 있는 육신의 장막이 저절로 생겼다고 생각하는 사람이 있다면 그는 실로 어리석은 사람임에 틀림없지 않겠는가? 그러므로 하나님의 말씀은 이들에 대하여 단호하게 말씀하신다: "사람이 존귀에 처해도 오리살지 못하니 그가 멸망하는 짐승들과 같도다…사람이 존귀에 처해 있어도 깨닫지 못하면 멸망하는 짐승들과 같도다."(시 49:12,20)

       오늘 본문에서 잠언 기자는 예수 그리스도께서 만물들을 창조하신 일을 증거하기 전에 세상 사람들을 향하여 부르짖고 있다: "지혜가 부르짖지 아니하느냐? 명철이 그 음성을 높이지 아니하느냐?… 오 너희 우매한 자들아, 지혜를 깨달으라. 너희 어리석은 자들아, 마음이 명철한 자들이 되라….내 입이 진리를 말하리니, 악은 내 입술에 가증한 것이라….지혜가 루비보다 나으니 원하는 모든 것들이 그것에 비교될 수 없느니라….나 지혜는 신중함과 함께 거하며 창의적 지식을 찾아내느니라……나(지혜)를 사랑하는 자들은 내가 사랑하나니, 일찍 나를 찾는 자들은 나를 만나리라. 부귀와 명에가 나와 함께 있으니, 정녕, 지속되는 부와 의도 그러하니라."(잠 8:1,5,7,11,12,17,18)

       주님께서는 자신을 "지혜'라고 말씀하시고 있다. 그분은 "지혜의 영" 자체이시기 때문인 것이다. 중국어 한자에서도 그 진리를 찾아 볼 수 있는 바, "지혜"(知慧, 智慧)라는 말의 뜻이 "사물의 이치와 선악을 분별하는 슬기"라는 뜻이다. 이 얼마나 멋진 의미인가? 하나님께서는 모든 사람들에게 자연 계시들을 통하여서도 지혜로 천지를 창조하신 예수 그리스도를 알 수 있는 길을 열어 놓으신 것이다. 사람의 영과 혼이 살고 있는 우리의 육신의 집을 묵상하면서 살펴본다면 이처럼 콤퓨터 보다도 더 정확하게 연결되어 멋있게 지은 집이 또 어디 있겠는가? 하나의 오차도 없이 연결되어 호흡하게 하시며 사람 안에 있는 생각대로 보며, 말하며, 느끼며, 노래하며, 때로는 눈물을 흘리며, 뛰기도하고 걷기도 하며, 자유자재로 움직이면서 활동하게 하게 만들어진 집이 저절로 생겼다고 생각하면서 자신을 지으신 주인이 없다고 생각하며 산다면 그야말로 짐승보다도 못한 존재가 아니겠는가? 그렇다! 오늘 주인을 알지도 못하고 두려워하지도 못하고 찬양하지도 못하면서 그분께서 주신 호흡을 가지고 교만하게 살던 죄를 회개하고 지혜이시며 명철 자체이신 주 예수 그리스도를 영접할 때에 모든 죄들이 용서받고 그분의 지혜와 명철과 지식의 영을 받게 될 때에 진정한 지혜자가 되어 참된 진리의 지식을 알게 되어 영원한 생명과 함께 영원한  부와 의를 받는 은혜의 날이며 구원의 날이 될 것이다. 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 104:1-35

Main scripture: Proverbs 8:22-36

Subject: Have you received the wisdom of God?

       In the main passage, King Solomon testifies in the anointment of the Holy Ghost of the scene of creation  of heaven and earth that Jesus Christ, the Word in the beginning did with the Father God. Apostle John, the beloved disciple by Jesus made the same testimony clearly in the Spirit:

 ^"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made….. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth…..That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)"(1John 1:1,2)

       Apostle Paul also made the same testimony in the same Spirit:

 ^"Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence."(Col. 1:15-18)

       A Psalmist also testified of the creation of God that was made by the wisdom:

 ^"To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever."(Ps. 136:5) Prophet Isaiah testified of the Spirit of God: ^"And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;"(Isa. 11:2) King Solomon testified of wisdom and knowledge: ^"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction….. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding."(Prov. 1:7; 9:10)

Yea! Only they that received the Spirit of God know God, and receive the wisdom of fearing God.

       God rebuked the people of Israel through Prophet Isaiah for their foolishness, because they were so ignorant of God that made them:

^"The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward."(Isa. 1:3,4)

       A Psalmist testified of all the beasts that know their Lord: ^"These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season. That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good. Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust."(Ps. 104:27-29)

       Yea!  All the beasts know who is their owner, even though we look down on them. In other word, they know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord, and fear him. And they receive their meat in due season. But only men are so arrogant that they don't know the Creator that made them, and fear not either; because they don't understand themselves as sinners, and not repent either so that they cannot receive the Spirit of God. They that don't believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are so foolish that they think as if their house was never built by anyone, but it is by itself. In other word, they are inferior to the beasts. All the houses have their builders; how they can think their body wherein their soul and spirit dwell  could be not made by anyone? If then, they must be really foolish ones. Therefore God speaks unto them firmly:

^"Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish…. Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish."(Ps. 49:12,20)

       In the main passage, the writer of Proverbs is crying out toward the people in the world before he testifies of the Lord Jesus Christ that created all things:

^"Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?…. O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart….. For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips…… For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions…… I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness."(Prov. 8:1,5,7,11,12,17,18)

       The Lord says himself the wisdom itself; because he is the Spirit of wisdom itself. We can find a truth in the Chinese letter(智慧, 知慧) that means "the sense that discerns principle of things as well as good and evil" What a wonderful meaning it is! God has opened the way to men even through the natural revelation so that they may know the Lord Jesus Christ that created heaven and earth by wisdom. Let us meditate our body wherein our soul and spirit dwell. Is there any other house that is designed so beautiful and active more than any computers?  Without any error, all the members of the body are connected to one another, we breathe, see according to our thoughts, feel, sing, cry, run, walk, move freely and so on. If someone think that his body happened to be spontaneously of itself not believing in the owner of his body, he must be inferior to the beasts. Yea! If someone repent today for not knowing the Lord, not fearing him either, not praising him either, and breathing arrogantly, and receive the Lord Jesus Christ in his heart sincerely, he shall receive the Spirit of wisdom and understanding and knowledge; and he shall be the true wise man to come unto the knowledge of the truth unto the eternal wealth and righteousness along with eternal life. Then today shall be the day of grace and salvation for him. Amen! hallelujah!
