금주의 묵상: 시편 122:1-9

본문: 스카랴 12:1-9

제목: 마지막 때에 무거운 돌이 되신 예수 그리스도와 예루살렘

       미국과 일부 국가들을 제외하고 거의 모든 나라들이 팔레스타인을 독립국가로 인정함으로써 이스라엘이 팔레스타인 땅에 존재하는 것을 부인하는 엄청난 결정을 했다. 지난 인류 역사 육천년 동안 일어났던 모든 일들은 하나님의 말씀대로 이루어져 왔고 또한 앞으로도 이루어질 것이다. UN이 아무리 어떤 결정을 할지라도 성경에 나타난 모든 예언은 반드시 성취될 것이다.

오늘 본문에서 선지자 스카랴는 "그 날에 내가 예루살렘을 모든 백성에게 무거운 돌이 되게 하히라. 비록 세상의 모든 백성이 그것을 치려고 함께 모일지라도, 그 돌을 드는 자들은 산산이 부서지리라."(슥 12:3)고 예언했다.

       인류 역사상 수많은 나라들이 예루살렘을 공격하고 파괴했지만 그 나라들은 모두 사라져버렸고 이스라엘과 예루살렘은 지금도 같은 이름으로 존재하고 있는 것이다. 전 세계를 통치했던 바빌론이나 앗시리아, 이집트, 메디아, 페르시아, 그리스, 로마 그리고 최근에는 독일의 나치집단 모두가 역사 속으로 사라진 것은 누구나 다 아는 사실이 아닌가? 그들 모두는 하나님께서 이스라엘에게 이 지상에서 하나님의 왕국의 제사장 민족으로 택한 사실을 알고 모든 나라들이 이스라엘을 이 지상에서 없애버리려는 한 가지 목적으로 끊임없이 시도했지만 하나님께서는 이스라엘 백성들을 치리하기 위하여 그들을 잠간 동안 도끼나 몽둥이로 사용하셨을 뿐 하나님께서는 이스라엘을 징계하기 위하여 사용하셨던 도구들을 모두 꺽어버리셨던 것이다.

      그러나 앞으로도 그들의 메시야를 죽인 그들의 죄를 물으시기 위하여 다신 한 번 더 그들을 징계하실 것이다. 하나님께서는 마지막 한 이레(약 칠 년)를 정해 놓으시고 마지막으로 야곱의 고난의 때를 허락하실 것이다. 이 사실에 대하여 스카랴는 "보라, 사람들이 유다와 예류살렘을 모든 백성에게 떨리는 잔이 되게 하리라….보라, 주의 날이 오나니, 네 약탈물이 네 가운데서 나눠지리라. 내가 모든 민족을 모아 예루살렘을 대적하여 싸우게 하리라. 성읍은 함락되고 집들은 강탕 당하며 여자들이 욕을 당하고, 성읍의 절반이 사로잡혀 갈 것이나, 백성의 나머지는 성읍에서 끊어지지 아니하리라."(슥 12:2; 14:1,2)고 예언했다. 이스라엘 백성들에게는 마지막으로 다시 한 번 엄청난 고난을 당해야 하는 운명에 놓여있는 것이다.

      그러나 이 때에도 하나님께서는 그들을 다시 회복시키실 것이다. 본 문 3절에서 보았듯이 그 돌(예루살렘)을 드는 자들은 모두 산산이 부서지리라고 하나님께서 이미 말씀하셨으며 이 말씀을 이루시기 위하여 "그 날에 내가 모든 말을 쳐서 놀라게 하고 그 탄 자(적그리스도)를 쳐서 격노하게 하리라. 또 내가 유다 집 위에 네 눈을 떠 백성의 모든 말을 눈멀게 하리라. 그리하면 유다의 총독들이 그들의 마음에 말하기를 '예루살렘의 거민들이 만군의 주 그들의 하나님 안에서 내 힘이 되리라.' 하리라. 그 날에 내가 유다의 총독들로 나무 가운데 불화로 같게, 곡식단 가운데 횃불 같게 하리니, 그들이 오른편과 왼편에 에워싼 모든 백성들을 삼킬 것이라. 그리고 예루살렘은 그 본래의 자리, 곧 예루살렘에 다시 거하게 하리라. 주는 또한 유다의 장막들을 구원하리니, 이는 다윗의 짐의 영광과 예루살렘 거민들의 영광이 유다를 대적하여 스스로 높이지 못하게 하려 함이라. 그 날에 주는 예루살렘의 거민들을 보호하리니, 그 날에는 그들 가운데 약한 자가 다윗같이 되겠고, 다윗의 집이 하나님같이, 그들 앞에 선 주의 천사같이 되리라. 그 날이 오면, 내가 예루살렘을 치러 오는 모든 민족들을 멸하고자 하리라."(슥 12:4-9)고 분명하게 말씀하셨으며 이 말씀 역시 반드시 이루어질 것이다.

      뿐만 아니라 이 모든 말씀을 이루신 후 예루살렘에서 일어날 일에 대하여 "그 날에는 생수가 예루살렘으로부터 솟아나서 그 절반은 앞 바다로 그 절반은 뒤 바다로 흐르리니, 여름과 겨울에도 그러하리라. 주(예수 그리스도)께서는 온 땅을 치리할 왕이 되시리니, 그 날에는 한 분 주(만주의 주, 만왕의 왕)께서 게실 것이며, 그의 이름 하나만 있으리라."(슥 14:8,9)고 하나님께서 말씀하셨다.

       첫 사람이 범죄한 이후 하나님의 공의의 법에 따라서 사탄이 이 땅을 차지하여 통치한지 육천 년이 흘렀다. 그 동안 이 세상 통치자는 정사와 권세와 이 세상의 어두음의 주관자들과 악한 영들(엡 6:12)을 사용하여 두 가지 일을 도모했는 바, 그 첫째는 죄와 사망으로부터 모든 사람들을 구원하기 위하여 하나님께서 육신으로 나타나신 예수님을 이 땅에서 제거하여 사탄이 영원토록 이 세상을 통치하기 위하여 이스라엘(여인)의 혈통으로 나타나신 왕을 죽였던 것이다. 그러나 사탄은 예수님을 죽이심으로써 오히려 모든 세상 죄들을 제거하시는 일을 돕는 일을 하게 되었으며, 하나님이신 그분께서 죽은자로부터 다시 살아나셨을 때 그가 가진 사망의 권세는 아무 것도 아닌 것으로 되어버림으로써 그가 이 땅에 가져온 죄와 사망에 대한 심판을 이미 받아 앞으로 주 예수 그리스도께서 예루살렘으로 다시 오실 때에 그에 대한 심판이 집행될 것이다. 두 번째로, 그는 이스라엘을 지상으로부터 없애버리는 것이지만, 이 또한 주님께서 다시 오실 때 물거품이 될 것이다.

       세상 권세자인 마귀는 거치는 반석이 되어 나타나신 주 예수 그리스도를 제거하면 그들의 세상이 영원토록 게속될 것으로 알고 그분을 죽였으나 그분께서는  다시 살아나셨던 것이다. 선지자 이사야는 수백년 후에 예루살렘에 나타나실 주 예수 그리스도에 대하여 "그러므로 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 내가 시온(예루살렘)에 한 돌을 기초로 두었나니, 시험받는 돌(a tried stone)이요, 귀한 모퉁잇돌이며, 단단한 기초라. 믿는 자는 다급하게 되지 아니하리라."(사 28:16)고 예언함으로써 죄와 사망을 멸하시고 모든 죄인들을 구원하시려고 나타나실 주 예수 그리스도를 믿지 않는 자들은 그분께서 세상 끝에 믿지 않는 자들을 심판하시기 위하여 나타나실 때 다급하게 될 것을 말씀한 것이다.

       사도 베드로는 성령 안에서 선지자 이사야의 예언을 다시 한 번 상기시키면서 "그러므로 성경에도 이런 말씀이 있으니 '보라, 내가 택한  귀중한 모투잇돌을 시온에 두노니 그를 믿는 사람은 수치를 당하지 아니하리라.'고 하였느니라. 그러므로 믿는 너희에게는 그가 귀중하나 불순종하는 자들에게는 건축자들이 버린 그 돌이 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되고 또 실족하게 하는 돌고ㅓ 거치는 반석이 되었으니, 곧 불순종함으로 말씀에 실족하는 자들에게니라. 그들은 또한 그헣게 되기로 정해졌느니라."(벧전 2:6-8)고 증거했다.

      이 땅에 나타나신 예수께서는 자신이 바로 이 돌임을 증거하셨다: "너희는 성경에서 '건축자들이 버린 돌이 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었도다. 이는 주께서 하신 일이라. 우리 눈에 기이하도다.' 하신 말씀을 읽어보지 못하였느냐? ….또 누구든지 이 돌 위에 떨어지는 사람은 부서질 것이요, 이 돌이 누구에게든지 떨어지면 그 사람을 가루로만들 것이라."(마 21:42,44)

이 말씀을 통하여 이스라엘은 그리스도 위에 넘어져 부서질 것이며, 교회는 그리스도 위에 세워질 것이고, 이방 세계 권세는 그리스도에 의해 부서질 것을 말씀하신 것이다.

      이 일에 대하여 하나님께서는 선지자  다니엘에게 미리 보여주셨으며 그는 보여주신대로 바빌론 왕 느부갓네살 앞에서 예언했던 것이다: "이들 왕들의 때에 하늘의 하나님께서 결코 멸망하지 않는 한 왕국을 세우시리니, 그 왕국은 다른 백성에게 넘겨지지 않을 것이요, 도리어 그 왕국이 이 모든 왕국들을 쳐부수고 멸하여 영원히 설 것이니이다. 왕께서 사람의 손을 대지 않고 산에서 떨어져 나간 돌과, 그 돌이 철과 놋과 진흙과 은과 금을 산산조작을 내는 것을 보신 것은 위대하신 하나님께서 이후에 있을 일을 왕께 알게 하신 것이니, 그 꿈은 분명하고 그 해석은 확실하나이다."(단 2:44,45)  이 예언을 들은 느부갓네살은 다니엘에게 엎드려 경배까지 하면서 "네가 이 은밀한 일을 나타낼 수 있음을 보니 너희의 하나님은 신들 중의 신이시요 왕들 중의 주시며 은밀한 일을 나타내시는 분이심이 분명하도다."(단 2:47)라고 고백했다.

       이 하나님께서 사람의 몸을 입으시고 하나님의 백성에게 나타나셨을 때 그들은 그분을 알아보지 못하고 산 돌이신 그분을 거친 반석으로 여기며 그분을 죽였던 것이다. 오늘날은 어떠한가? 과연 얼마나 많은 사람들이 이 예수님이 하나님이심을 알고 믿고 있는가? 지금이야말로 하루속히 만왕의 왕이시며 만주의 주께서 그분을 믿지 않는 자들을 심판하시러 오시기 전에(계 19:11-21) 그분을 영접하여 그분의 왕국에 들어가야 하는 것이다. 그렇지 않으면 영원한 수치를 당하게 될 것이다. 이 세상이 시도해 온 두 가지 일, 하나님이신 예수 그리스도와 이스라엘 백성들을 예루살렘으로부터 들어올리려는 모든 시도는 그들이 산산이 부서지는 심판으로 끝나게 될 것이다. 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 122:1-9

Subject: Jesus Christ and Jerusalem that became burdensome stone in the last days

       Almost all nations, only except US and some other states, recognized Palestine as a independent state to deny the existence of Israel in the land of Palestine. For last six thousand years, human history has been proving achievement of the words of God, and shall be done in the future. Whatever decision UN may make, all the prophesies in the scriptures shall be done as the word of God. In the main passage, prophet Zechariah prophesied:

"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem…. 1Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city."(Zech. 12:2; 14:1,2)

       In the human history, many nations have tried to attack Israel and destroy it; but all those nations and kingdoms have disappeared from the face of the earth; and Israel and Jerusalem are still existing in the same names. All the kingdoms that ruled over the world such as Babylon, Assyria, Egypt, Media, Persia, Greece, Roman Empire, and even Nazi of Germany have disappear behind human history. Knowing Israel to be the kingdom of priest  in the earth for the LORD God, they have been trying to sweep away Israel form the earth continuously, God have used them as axis and rod to discipline Israel for a while; and finally God broken them all after all.

       Even in the future, God will chasten Israel once again to ask them the sin that they crucified their Messiah. God set a seven years, and he will allow the days of pain of Jacob in the day of the LORD. Prophet Zechariah prophesied of this:

"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem…… 1Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city."(Zech 12:2; 14:1,2)

Israel is predestined to pass through extreme suffering once again

       God will restore them once again as before. As we see in the third verse, all that burden themselves with it (Jerusalem) shall be cut in pieces, saith the LORD. To achieve this prophesy, Prophet Zechariah prophesied clearly:

"In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hosts their God. In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah. In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem."(Zech. 12:4-9)

       The LORD God also spoke through Zechariah of what to happen afterwards in Jerusalem:

"And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one."(Zech. 14:8,9)

       Since the first man sinned, the Satan took over the earth according to the law of righteousness of God and he has been ruling six thousand years. This prince of the world has been plotting two kinds of work using principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and the spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph. 6:12). The first work is to eliminate Jesus Christ that God manifested in flesh in the blood of the woman (Israel) to save the world from sin and death so that the Satan could rule this world forever. Finally he killed the king crucifying on the cross. But the Satan killed him to be resulted in helping him to take away the sin of the world; and when Jesus rose again from the dead, his power of death lost the power. Finally the Satan became to be judged for his sin and death that was brought forth to the earth. When Jesus Christ come again to Jerusalem he shall be executed as the judgment.  And the second one is to eliminate Israel from the face of the earth, but it also shall be in vain when Jesus Christ comes back to the earth.

       The Devil, the prince of this world killed Jesus that appeared as a stone of stumbling in Jerusalem  to reign himself forever, but Jesus rose again from the dead. Prophet prophesied of Jesus that shall appear in Jerusalem several hundreds years later:

"Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste."(Isa. 28:16) As he prophesied, they that not believe on the Lord Jesus Christ that took away the sin of the world as well as death shall make haste when he appears again at the end of the world.

       Apostle Peter testified of Jesus as this stone:

"Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed."(1Pet. 2:6-8)

       Even Jesus also testified himself as this stone:

"Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?…. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder."(Matt. 21:42,44)  He prophesied through this word, Israel shall be broken stumbling on him; and the church of God shall be built on Christ; and all the Gentile world shall be ground to powder by Christ.

       Of this prophesy, the LORD God had already showed Daniel, and he prophesied it before the king Nebuchadnezzar:

"And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure."(Dan. 2:44,45) And the king of Babylon bowed down to Daniel, and confessed saying, " Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret."(Dan. 2:47)

    When the LORD God appeared in flesh before the people of God, they not recognized him as God, but rather as a stumbling stone instead of living stone. Finally they crucified him. What about today? How many people really know Jesus as the living God to believe? This is the right time to believe on him to enter into the kingdom of God before the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords come back to judge the world that not believe on him (Rev. 19:11-21). If not, it is the way to be ashamed forever. Two kind of thing that have been plotted by the world to lift up Jesus Christ as well as Israel from Jerusalem shall be judged to be ground in pieces. Amen! hallelujah!
