금주의 묵상: 시편 19:1-14

본문: 이사야 9:1-7

제목: 온 땅의 유일한 소망이신 하나님의 아들

      선지자 이사야는 이스라엘의 유일한 소망이 되실 하나님의 아들이 이 땅에 태어나실 것을 예언했다:  "흑암에서 행하던 백성이 큰 빛을 보았으며, 죽음의 그림자의 땅에 거하는 자들 위에 빛이 비치었도다."(2절) 그의 예언은 이스라엘 땅에 장차 나타나실 주 예수 그리스도에 대한 예언이었다.  그러나 그분께서는 거절 당하시고 유대인과 이방인 모두의 죄들을 제거하시기 위해 죽으시고 셋째 날에 부활하셨다가  마침내 이 땅에 다시 오실 때에 자신을 다시 한 번 대적하는 무리들과 마지막 전쟁을 치르실 때에 혼란스런 소리와 피 묻은 의복과 함께 있을 것이며 타는 것과 불의 연료와 함께 있을 것을 예언하고 있는 것이다(4,5절).

       6절부터는 앞으로 한 아이로 이 땅에 태어나실 주 예수 그리스도에 대하여 그분이 어떤 분이신지 증거하고 있다: "이는 우리에게 한 아이가 태어났고 우리에게 한 아들이 주어졌음이니 정부가 그의 어깨 위에 있을 것이요, 그의 이름은 경이로운 분이라, 상담자라, 능하신 하나님이라, 영원하신 하나님이라, 화평의 통치자라 불리리라. 그의 정부와 화평의 증가함이 다윗의 보좌와 그의 왕국 위에 바르게 세우지고, 지금부터 영원까지 공의와 정의로 그것을 굳게 세우는 데 끝이 없으이라. 만군의 주의 열성이 이것을 실행하시리라."(6,7절)

       다시 말해서 앞으로 태어날 이 아이는 장차 왕국을 통치하는 왕의 되실 것이며 능하신 하나님 아버지께서 육신을 입으시고 나타나실 경이로우신 분이시며, 성령을 통하여 기록하실 그분의 말씀을 통하여 모든 사람들을 상담하실 분이시며 그분께서 통치하실 왕국에는 더 이상 전쟁이 없을 것이며 화평이 영원토록 증가할 것인 바 이는 그분께서 정의와 공의로 통치하실 화평의 통치자이신 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주가 되실 것을 예언한 것이다.

      사도 요한은 동일한 성령 안에서 이사야의 예언이 이루어질 때 일어날 광경을 성령 안에서 미리 보고 증거했다: "또 내가 하늘이 열린 것을 보니 흰말이 보이더라. 그 위에 앉으신 분은 신실과 진실이라 불리며 의로 심판하고 싸우시더라. 그의 눈은 불꽃 같고 머리에는 많은 왕관이 있고 또 한 이름이 기록되어 있는데 그 자신 외에는 아무도 모르며 피에 적신 옷을 입었는데 그의 이름은 하나님의 말씀이라 불리더라. 또 하늘에 있는 군대들은 희고 정결한 세마포를 입고 흰말들을 타고 그를 따르더라. 그의 입에서는 예리한 칼이 나와서 그것으로 민족들을 칠 것이요 또 철장으로 그들을 다스릴 것이며, 그는 전능하신 하나님의 맹렬한 진노의 포도즙틀을 밟으실 것이라. 또 그의 옷과 넓적다리에 이름이 기록되어 있는데 '만왕의 왕, 또 만주의 주'라 하였더라."(계 19:11-16)

       하나님께서는 이사야를 통하여 미리 하신 말씀을 이루시기 위하여 천사 가브리엘을 나사렛이라 하는 갈리리의 한 마을에 보내시어 다윗의 가문에 요셉이라고 하는 남자와 정혼한 마리아라 하는 한 처녀에게 가게 하셨다. 그 천사는 하나님의 말씀을 이루기 위하여 하나님의 말씀을 마리아에게 전했다: "기뻐하라. 은총을 받은 자여, 주께서 너와 함께 하시니 너는 여자 중에서 복 받은 자로다….마리아야, 두려워 말라. 이는 네가 너의 태 안에서 임신하여 한 아들을 낳으리니 그의 이름을 예수라 하라. 그는 위대하게 될 것이며, 가장 높으신 분의 아들이라 불릴 것이요, 또 주 하나님께서 그에게 그의 조상 다윗의 보좌를 주실 것이며 그는 야곱의 집안을 영원히 통치할 것이요 그의 왕국은 무궁하리라….성령께서 너에게 임하실 것이며, 가장 높으신 분의 능력이 너를 덮으리니, 그러므로 너에게 탄생하실 거룩한 이는 하나님의 아들이라 불리리라….하나님께는 불가능한 일이 전혀 없느니라."(눅 1:26-37)

       "남자를 모르는 데 어찌 이런 일이 있을 수 있겠나이까?"라는 마리아의 질문에 대하여 가브리엘 천사가 설명하는 모든 말씀을 다 들은 마리아는 "보소서, 주의 여종이오니 당신의 말씀대로 이루어지이다."라고 말했다. 마리아의 대답을 들은 천사가 떠났을 때 그 순간 예수께서 마리아의 태에서 성령으로 잉태되셨던 것이다. 가브리엘이 떠난 즉시 엘리사벳을 만났을 때 엘리사벳은 마리아에게 "너는 여자들 가운데 복이 있으며 너의 태의 열매가 복이 있도다. 내 주의 모친이 내게 오시다니 이 어찌된 일인가? 보라, 너의 문안하는 음성이 내 귀에 들리니 내 태의 아기가 기뻐서 뛰었도다. 믿은 여자는 복이 있도다. 이는 주께서 그녀애개 말씀하신 것들이 이루어질 것이기 때문이라."(눅 1:42-45)고 말했다.

       하나님께서는 선지자 이사야를 통하여 말씀하신 예언을 이루시기 위하여 칠백 여년을 찾으시다가 마침내 마리아를 택하시고 하나님의 은총을 내리셨던 것이다. 하나님께서 미리 아시고 자신의 뜻을 전하게 하시려 택함을 받은 사람들이 성경에 많이 나타나 있는 것을 본다. 마리아를 찾아 왔던 천사 가브리엘이 다니엘을 찾아가서 "오 다니엘아, 내가 이제 네게 지혜와 명철을 주려고 나왔느니라."(단 9:22)고 말했으며, 앞으로 불로 세상을 심판하실 것을 미리 보여주시기 위하여 하나님께서는 노아를 미리 아시고 방주를 짓게 하셨으며 하나님께서는 노아에 대하여 "노아는 주의 눈에서 은혜를 찾았더라."(창 6:8)고 말씀하셨다. 또한 앞으로 이스라엘에게 정해진 마지막 한 이래 동안 이스라엘이 받을 고난을 미리 보여주시기 위하여 하나님께서는 욥을 미리 아시고 택하신 후 사단에게 "너는 내 종 욥을 유의해 보았으냐? 세상에 그와 같은 사람은 아무도 없나니 그는 온전하고 정직한 사람으로 하나님을 두려워하고 악을 피하는 자니라."(욥 1:8)고 말씀하셨다. 또한 사도 바울이 모든 고난을 참아내며 이방인들에게 복음을 전할 재목으로 미리 아시고 사도 바울에게 보내심을 받은 아나니아가 근심하며 묻는 말에 "네 길을 가라. 이는 그가 이방인들과 왕들과 또 이스라엘 자손들 앞에서 내 이름을 증거하기 위하여 내가 선택한 그릇임이라. 그가 나의 이름을 위하여 얼마나 큰 일들로 고통을 받을 것인가를 내가 그에게 보여 주겠노라."(행 9:15,16)고 말씀하셨다.

        그렇다! 하나님께서는 지금도 미리 아신 자들을 자기 아들의 형상과 일치하게 하시려고 예정하시고 부르시어 복음을 듣게 하시고 은혜를 주셔서 자신이 죄인임을 깨닫게 하시고 회개케 하셔서 주 예수 그리스도를 믿음으로 의롭게 하시고 영화로운 하나님의 아들들이 되게 하시는 것이다(롬 8:29-30). 하나님께서는 자신의 왕국을 하늘과 땅에 온전하게 이루시기 위하여 지금도 자신의 왕국에 들어갈 자들을 찾고 계시는 것이다. 누구든지 겸손하게 자신을 낮추고 하나님께 나아올 때에 은혜를 주시는 것이다. 그 은혜를 받을 때에 주 예수 그리스도가 전능하신 하나님이시며 화평의 통치자이시며 만왕의 왕, 또 만주의 주이심을 알게 되는 것이다. 엣날에 하나님께서 미리 아신 자들을 찾아왔던 가브리엘을 더 이상 기다릴 필요가 없는 것은 하나님의 천사들을 통하여 성령께서 모든 말씀들을 기록하신 성경이 우리 앞에 들려있으니 그 말씀을 일고 듣고 묵상할 때 하나님께서 은혜를 주셔서 믿음을 주심으로써 그 은혜를 통하여 믿음으로 영원한 생명을 받아 영원하신 하나님의 아들들이 되는 것이다. 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: psalms 19:1-14

Main scripture: Isaiah 9:1-7

Subject: The Son of God, only the hope in the earth

       Prophet Isaiah prophesied of the Son of God, the only hope of Israel to be born in the earth: "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined."(Isa. 9:2)

His prophesy was of the Lord Jesus Christ to appear in the land of Israel. But he was rejected, and died for the sin of the world (Jews and Gentiles), and rose again the third day, and he will come back to the earth. He shall fight with his enemies as Isaiah prophesied saying, "For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire."(Isa. 9:5)

       Isaiah testified of the Lord Jesus Christ to be born as a baby in the future from verse six: "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this."(Isa. 9:6,7)

       In other word, this child shall be the King to rule the kingdom, and God shall be manifested in flesh to be called Wonderful, and Counselor that counsel all men through his words written through the Spirit, and his Kingdom shall stop wars so that he shall increase peace with no end. He shall establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever as the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

         Apostle John testified of the scene when the prophesy Isaiah is realized in the same Spirit: "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND Lord OF LORDS."(Rev. 19:11-16)

         God sent Gabriel unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. The angel delivered the word of God to Mary saying, "Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women….. Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end…. The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God…. For with God nothing shall be impossible."(Luke 1:26-37)

       Mary questioned to Gabriel saying, "How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?" But after she heard what the angel spoke unto her, she answered to the angel saying, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word." Right after the angel departed Mary, the passion of God made her conceived a baby by the Holy Ghost. Elisabeth testified of the baby in the Mary's womb saying, "Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord."(Luke 1:42-45)

       God had searched a woman for seven hundred years to do his will that was prophesied by Isaiah; finally God chose Mary, and he gave the favor. There are many  people chosen by God to be used for the will of God to be done through his foreknowing. The same Gabriel visited Daniel and spoke to him, "O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding."(Dan. 9:22)

       God foreknew Noah, and had him to build the ark to show the final judgment by fire in advance; God referred Noah saying, "But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord."(Gen. 6:8)

       And God had chosen Job to show the suffering during the last seven year Tribulation for the people Israel; and God spoke to the Satan of Job saying, "Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?"(Job 1:8)

       God also had foreknown Apostle Paul as the one that should preach the gospel to the Gentiles observing all the sufferings, and the Lord spoke to Ananias when he the Lord with doubt for Paul: "Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake."(Acts 9:15,16)

       Yea! God still predestinate his children to be conformed to the image of his Son, and call them so that they may hear the gospel, and give them grace, and  let them understand themselves sinners and repent, and receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith, and justifies them, and glorifies to be the children of God (Rom 8:29,30). God is still looking for the souls to have them enter his kingdom that shall be established in heaven and earth.  Whosoever low himself humbly, and come forward to God shall receive the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. When he receives the grace, he shall understand of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Almighty God, the Prince of peace, and Lord of Lords and King of Kings. We don't have to wait for Gabriel anymore, for we already have  all the words of God written by the angels through the Holy Ghost. We only have to read the bible and meditate to receive the grace of God, and receive the eternal life by faith to be the children of God eternity. Amen! Hallelujah!
