금주의 묵상: 전도서 12:1-14

본문: 시편 1:1-6

제목: 아브라함의 씨를 통하여 받는 영원한 복

       해가 바뀔 때마다 "새해에 복 많이 받으세요!" 라는 인사를 나눈다. 모든 사람들은 복 받기를 원한다. 세상에 사는 동안에 물질이 풍요한 복, 건강한 복, 자식이 잘 되는 복, 사업이 잘 되는 복 등등 이러한 복을 받으면 생활이 편안해 진다. 그러나 세상 사람들이 말하는 복과 하나님께서 말씀하시는 복은 그야말로 하늘과 땅의 차이다.

       하나님께서 아브라함을 부르셨을 때 "내가 너로 큰 민족을 이루게 할 것이며 네게 복을 주고 네 이름을 위대하게 하리니, 너는 복이 되리라. 너를 축복하는 자들에게 내가 복을 주고 너를 저주하는 자를 저주하리라. 네 안에서 땅의 모든 족속들이 복을 받을 것이라."(창 12:2,3)는 약속의 말씀을 주셨다. 하나님께서는 아브라함이 단지 복을 받은 자가 아니라 모든 민족에게 복을 주는 복 자체가 될 것을 말씀하신 것이다.

       아브라함이 카나안 땅에 들어왔을 때에 또 다시 나타나신 주 하나님께서 그에게 다시 말씀하셨다: "내가 이 땅을 네 씨에게 주리라."(창 12:7) 사도 바울은 성령 안에서 아브라함의 씨가 누구인지에 대하여 증거했다: "이제 그 약속들은 아브라함과 그의 씨에게 하신 것인데 많은 사람을 가리켜 씨들이라고 말씀하지 아니하시고 한 사람을 가리켜 너의 씨라고 말씀하셨으니 그는 그리스도시라."(갈 3:16)

다시 말해서 예수 그리스도께서 아브라함의 자손으로 나타나셔서 그분을 통하여 모든 민족이 복을 받을 것을 말씀하신 것이다.

      본문에 나타난 복 있는 사람은 이 죄악 세상에 최초로 복을 주시려고 나타나신 예수 그리스도의 모습을 보여주고 있다. 욥기 다음에 시편이 기록된 것이 결코 우연한 일이 아닌 것이다. 욥기 42장은 앞으로 이스라엘 백성이 겪을 대 환란인 야곱의 고난의 때(후 삼년 반 42개월)를 욥의 극심한 고난을 통하여 보여주고 있는 것이다. 또한 대 환란 끝에 이스라엘의 남은 자들을 구원하시려 나타나셔서 천년왕국에 들어갈 이스라엘의 남은 자들을 욥처럼 배나 복 주시는 주 예수 그리스도의 모습을 보는 것이다.

       주님께서는 이 땅에 계시는 동안 아버지의 말씀을 묵상하시면서 그 말씀들만을  이루시는 삶을 사셨다. 하나님께서는 선지자 예레미야를 통하여서도 복받은 자에 대하여 말씀하셨다: "주를 신뢰하고 그의 소망을 주께 두는 사람은 복이 있도다. 그는 물가에 심겨진 나무가 강가에 그 뿌리를 뻗침과 같아서 더위가 와도 걱정하지 않고 그 잎이 푸르러 가뭄의 해에도 염려하지 않고 열매를 맺는 것도 그치지 아니할 것임이라."(렘 17:7,8)

       강가에 심겨진 나무는 계절과 상관 없이 항상 강물을 빨아먹으며 자란다. 항상 줄기와 잎사귀들이 수분으로 기득차게 된다.  그리고 그 나무는 그의 즐거움이 강물을 빨아먹는 일이다. 성령께서는 하나님의 법, 다시 말해서 하나님의 말씀을 즐거워하며 그 말씀을 묵상하는 자를 강가에 심겨진 나무로 비유하고 있는 것이다. 이런 삶을 사는 사람이 복있는 사람이라고 하나님께서 말씀하고 있는 것이다.

      그렇다면, 하나님의 말씀을 즐거워하면서 그 말씀을 항상 묵상하는 자에게 어떤 복을 주시는가? 세상 사람들은 세상에서 누릴 수 있는 여러가지 복을 즐거워하면서 항상 주야로 그것들을 묵상하면서 그 복을 받기 위하여 열심히 사는 것을 본다. 복(福)이라는 한자에 나타는 뜻을 보게 되면 화려한 옷과 안락한 집, 그리고 기름진 음식과 좋은 사업체를 가지고 있으면 그 사람을 복받은 사람이라고 칭하게 되는 것이다. 이 복은 땅에서 육신의 삶을 사는 동안 누릴 수 있는 복인 것이다. 그러나 이 복은 그 사람의 죽음과 더불어 그 복도 끝이 나게 되어 있는 것이다.

       그렇다면, 아브라함의 씨이신 주 예수 그리스도를 믿어서 의인이 되 사람들에게 주시는 복은 어떤 것인가? 이 복에 대하여 성경 전체에 걸쳐서 말씀하고 있다. 그러기에 이 말씀을 즐거워하면서 이 말씀을 주야로 묵상하지 않으면 이 복이 어떤 복인지 알 수가 없기에 이 복을 받을 소망 가운데 살 수 없는 것이다. 사실, 세상에서 말하는 복은 하나님께서 예수 그리스도를 통하여 주시는 복의 그림자인 것이다. 그림자는 잡을 수 없는 것이기에 세상에서 주는 복은 영원히 누릴 수 없는 것이다.

      하나님께서 주시는 영원한 복은 어떤 것인가?

     첫째로, 주 예수 그리스도께서 하나님의 자녀들을 하늘로 데려가시려고 나타나실 때 주 안에서 잠든 성도들의 몸이 먼저 일어나고, 살아있는 성도들은 산채로 죽지 않고 썩지 않는 영생체로 부활하게 되는 것이다. 그야말로 가장 멋진 새 몸이라는 빛나는 옷을 받게 되는 것이다 (살전 4:16-18, 고전 15:51-53).

     둘째로, 보석으로 된 열두 기초석과 열두 진주문을 가지고 있으며, 벽은 벽옥이며 도성은 순금으로 만든 맑은 유리 같은 새 예루살렘 도성을 영원한 집으로 받게 되는 것이다 (계 21:9-27)

      셋째로, 말씀이신 주 예수 그리스도와 영원히 새 예루살렘에서 살면서 가장 진미로운 음식인  생명수와 그분의 생명의 말씀을 영원토록 먹으며 살게 될 것이다.

       넷째로, 이 땅에서 그리스도와 함께 고난받은 만큼 면류관을 받아 천년동안 회복된 하나님의 왕국에서 그리스도와 함께 열 고을도 다스리고 다섯 고을도 다스리는 통치권이라는 유업을 받게 될 것이다 (딤후 2:12, 눅 19:11-19)

       보이는 세상만 바라보는 사람은 가히 상상할 수도 없고 믿을 수도 없는 하늘의 복이 예비되어 있건만, 이런 복을 알기 위하여 하나님의 말씀을 즐거워하면서 주야로 묵상하는 사람이 심히 적은 것이 안타까운 현실인 것이다. 과거 백년 전만 해도 많은 그리스도인들은 하나님께서 주시는 영원한 복을 바라보면서 이 땅에서 누리는 썩을 복을 마다하면서 그리스도와 함께 고난받는 일을 기쁘게 여기며 살다가 그 복을 누리기 위하여 하늘 나라로 갔던 것이다.

       하나님의 말씀을 창세기로부터 요한계시록에 이르기까지 상고하지 않으면 하나님의 왕국에 대한 비젼을 볼 수 없는 것이다. 하나님께서는 그분께서 사랑하시는 자들만이 하나님의 왕국에서 누릴 복을 알 수 있도록 마치 퍼즐(Puzzle)처럼 말씀을 성경 전체에 흩어놓으신 것이다. 새해를 맞이하여 올해 일 년 동안 성경을 상고하면서 하나님께서 감추어 놓으신 모든 복들을 하나 하나 찾아내면서 보내지 않겠는가? 창세기부터 성경을 읽으면서 동시에 교회 홈페이지에 입력되어 있는 말씀들을 일년 동안 듣기 위하여 계획을 세운다면 성령님의 도우심을 통하여 능히 할 수 있을 것이다. 아브라함의 씨로 나타나신 하나님이신 주 예수 그리스도를 통해서만이 진정한 복을 받을 수 있으며 다른 사람들에게 복을 주는 복이 되게 하시는 것이다. 믿음으로 난 자, 다시 말해서 예수 그리스도를 믿어 하나님의 자녀로 태어난 사람은 아브라함과 같은 복을 받은 자들인 것이다.(갈 3:9)  아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Ecclessiastes  12:1-14

Main scripture: Psalms 1:1-6

Subject: The eternal blessing receiving through the seed of Abraham

        The greeting saying, "Happy New Year!" we hear every new year. All men want to be blessed. They pursue the blessing such as wealthy life, healthy life, successful life of their children, and prosperity of their business and so on. Such kinds of blessing make men comfortable. Bur the earthly blessing and heavenly blessing are different from each other as much as heaven and earth.

        The LORD God called Abraham, and spoke unto him as promise: "And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."(Gen. 12:2,3)

God not only blessed him, but he wanted make him "blessing" itself.

       When Abraham came to the land of Canaan, God appeared to him again to give the word of promise: "Unto thy seed will I give this land:"Gen. 12:7)

Apostle Paul testified of the seed of Abraham in the Spirit:

"Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ."(Gal. 3:16)

In other word, Jesus Christ shall appear as the seed of Abraham, and all nations of people shall be blessed through him.

       In the main passage, the blessed man must be Jesus Christ to come to bless the wicked world. It is not an accident that the book of Psalms is followed by the book of Job. Forty two chapters of Job prophesies of the Great Tribulation for the people of Israel that is the Tribulation of Jacob (the second three years and half) through the extreme suffering unto Job.

       Jesus Christ always meditated the words of the Father only to achieve the words in his earthly life. The LORD God spoke of the blessed through Prophet Jeremiah: "Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit."(Jer. 17:7,8)

        The tree planted by the rivers of water grows drinking the water of the river regardless of seasons; its branches and leaves are always filled with the water. The tree always delights to drink the water of the river. The Holy Ghost compares the man that delight the word of God to meditate it as the tree planted by the rivers of water; and such kind of man is considered as the blessed.

       The, what kind of blessing shall be given unto the man that delights the word of God to meditate it? Worldly people delight the blessing that they want to have in the world, and they always meditate it day and night and work hard until they have it. The meaning of blessing in Chinese word consist of luxurious clothes, luxurious mansion, organic foods, and good business and so on. But such kind of blessing are limited to enjoy as long as they live in the earth so that such blessing shall be end when they die.

     Then, what kind of blessing shall be given unto them that believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the seed of Abraham? The theme of the whole scriptures is the blessing of God. No one can understand the blessing of God, unless man delights the word of God and meditates day and night; no one can live in the hope of such kind of blessing. In fact, the earthly blessing is the shadow of the heavenly blessing. No one catch shadow at all, for the earthly blessing is not eternal one but temporal.

        How the scriptures are speaking about the eternal blessing of God?

       Firstly, when Jesus Christ appear in the air to take the children of God to home in heaven, the saint sleeping in Christ shall rise first, and living saints in Christ shall be changed; both of them shall be resurrected to be clothed with immortal and incorruptible body that is glorious body as the eternal clothes.

       Secondly, the children of God shall live in a mansion called as the New Jerusalem of which foundation are twelve precious stones, and the twelve gates are made of pearl, and the wall of jasper, and the city is pure gold like unto claer glass.

        Thirdly, living with the Lord Jesus Christ eternally, they shall enjoy to drink the living waters as well as the living word of him.

         Fourthly, as mush as they suffer in the earth with Christ, they shall reign ten cities or five cities wearing the crown in the kingdom of God in the Millennium of the Lord Jesus Christ in the earth.

       It is not imaginable at all for them that only see the visible current world, not be believable at all either. Even though such kinds of heavenly blessing have been reserved, it is few that delight the words of God, and meditate to understand the heavenly blessing. Even hundred years ago, many Christians were willing to give up the earthly blessing and suffer with Christ looking forward the eternal blessing from God, and went up to heaven.

       It is impossible to see the vision of the kingdom of God clearly, unless we search the scriptures from Genesis through Revelation. God has scattered the words of God in the whole scriptures as puzzle so that only the beloved children of God understand the blessing in the kingdom of God. What about spending searching for the blessing on by one preserved by God in heaven for the new year. It may be good to plan to read the scripture from Genesis through Revelation as well as visiting the home page of the church being helped by the Holy Ghost. It is only possible to receive the true blessing only through the Lord Jesus Christ. In other word, the children of God, born of the Spirit shall be blessed along with Abraham (Gal. 3:9). Amen! Hallelujah!
