금주의 묵상: 시편 시편 96:1-13

본문: 이사야 45:18

제목: 땅(지구)에 대한 영원하신 하나님의 뜻

       오늘날 대부분의 교회들이 땅(지구)에 대한 하나님의 뜻에 무지한 이유를 알아야 한다. 육천 년 전에 이 땅을 차지한 사탄이 자신의 신부인 로마 교회로 하여금 그리스도의 대리자가 되게 하여 이 세상 나라들을 통치하게 함으로써 그리스도인들이 천년왕국에서 예수 그리스도와 함께 땅에서 누릴 소망을 가려놓은 것이다.

       오늘 본문에서 천지를 창조하신 하나님께서 분명히 말씀하신다. "하나님은 스스로 땅(지구)을 조성하고 만들었으며, 그는 그것을  견고히 세우되 헛되이 창조하지 아니하셨으니 사람이 거주하도록 조성하셨느니라. 나는 주라. 아무도 다른 이가 없느니라."(사 45:18) 하나님께서는 지구를 창조하신 목적을 말씀하시면서 "나는 주라."는 말씀으로 어인까지 찍으신 것이다. 뿐만 아니라, 하나님께서 "땅의 기초를 놓으사 영원히 요동치 않게 하셨나이다."(시 104:5)라고 선포하셨다.

      하나님께서 또 말씀하셨다.  "너희는 하늘과 땅(지구)을 지으신 분께 복을 받나니 하늘, 곧 하늘들까지라도 주의 것이나 그가 땅을 사람의 자손들에게 주셨도다."(시 115:15, 16) 하나님께서는 하늘들과 땅의 소유권에 대하여 말씀하신 것이다. 하늘들은 하나님의 것이요, 땅은 사람들에게 주셨다고 말씀하신 것이다.

       그러나, 하나님께서 주신 땅(지구)을 불행하게도 하늘에서 쫒겨난 루시퍼인 마귀에게 빼앗겨버렸던 것이다. 첫 사람 아담이 죄를 지음으로써 죄를 가져온 마귀의 종이 되어버렸던 것이다. 그때부터 땅의 소유권이 하나님의 공의 법에 따라 마귀에게 넘어갔던 것이다. 마귀는 하나님께서 육신으로 나타나신 예수께 나아와서 이 땅이 자기 소유로 넘어온 사실을 이렇게 말했다. "내가 이 모든 권세와 그것들의 영광을 너에게 주리라. 그것이 나에게 넘겨졌으므로 내가 원하는 자에게 줄 수 있느니라. 그러므로 네가 내게 경배하면, 모든 것이 너의 것이 되리라."(눅 4:6,7) 예수님은 그의 말에 대하여 이의(異意)를 제기하지 않으셨다. 왜냐하면, "죄를 짓는 자는 누구나 죄의 종이니라."(요 8:34)고 친히 하신 말씀과 같이  하나님의 공의 법에 의하여 마귀가  사람의 자손들에게 주신 땅을 사람이 죄를 지음으로 인하여 합법적으로 마귀 자신의 소유로 취한 것에 대하여 인정하셨던 것이다.

       그때부터 하나님께서는 마귀에게 빼앗긴 땅을 사람들에게 다시 돌려주시기 위하여 계획하셨다(창 3:15). 그렇게 하시기 위해서는 하나님의 공의의 법에 따라 사람들이 지은 모든 죄의 값을 치러주셔야만 하셨다. 또한 사람들이 영원히 땅에 살게하기 위해서 사망을 멸하셔야만 하셨다. 죄값을 치르고 사망을 없앤다는 것은 바로 죄와 사망의 권세 잡은 마귀를 없이 하는 것과 같은 것이다.

       사도 바울은 이 사실에 대하여 "자녀들이 피와 살에 참여하는 자인 것같이 그 역시 같은 모양으로 동일한 것에 참여하신 것은 자신의 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 가진 자, 곧 마귀를 멸망시키시며 또 죽음을 두려워히므로 평생을 노예로 속박되어 있는 자들을 놓아주시려 함이니라."(히 2:14,15)고 증거했으며, "주께서 모든 원수를 자기 발 아래 두실 때까지 통치하셔야만 하리니 멸망받게 될 마지막 원수는 사망이라.'(고전 15:25,26)고 증거했다.

       주님께서 다시 세상에 오실 때 제일 먼저 하실 일은 이 세상을 차지하고 있던 마귀를 붙잡아서 하나님께서 마련한 감옥인 끝없이 깊은 구렁(무저갱)에 던져 천 년 동안 그곳에 있게 하는 일이다. 사도 요한은 이에 대하여, "또 내가 보니, 한 천사가 하늘에서 내려오는데, 그의 손에는 끝없이 깊은 구렁의 열쇠와 큰 사슬을 가졌더라. 그가 용을 잡으니, 곧 마귀요 사탄인 옛 뱀이라 그를 천 년 동안 묶어 두니 그를 끝없는 깊은 구렁에 던져서 가두고 그 위에 봉인하여 천 년이 지날 때까지는 민족들을 다시는 미혹하지 못하게 하더라. 그후에는 그가 반드시 잠시 동안 풀려나게 되리라."(계 20:1-3)고 증거했다.

      다시 말해서 주님께서 이 땅에 오신 후 천 년 동안은 마귀의 유혹이 없는 주 예수 그리스도의 천년 왕국이 될 것을 말씀하신 것이다. 주 예수 그리스도께서 십자가에서 죽으심으로써 세상 죄를 제거하신 후(요 1:29) 셋째 날에 부활하셨을 때 사망의 권세를 이기심으로써 죄와 사망의 권세 잡은 마귀를 이미 심판하셨고 그분께서 다시 오시는 것은 심판 받은 마귀에 대한 형을 집행하시고 그로부터 이 땅을 다시 찾으시려는 것이다. 이에 대하여 예수께서는 제자들에게 "내가 진리를 너희에게 말하노니 내가 가는 것이 너희에게는 유익하니라. 만일 내가 가지 아니하면 위로자가 너희에게 오지 아니하시리라. 그러나 내가 떠나가면 내가 그분을 너희에게 보낼 것이라. 그분이 오시면 죄에 대하여, 의에 대하여, 심판에 대하여 세상을 책망하시리라. 죄에 대하여라 함은 그들이 나를 믿지 않기 때문이요 의에 대하여라 함은 내가 아버지께 가므로 너희가 나를 다시 보지 못하기 때문이며 또 심판에 대하여라 함은 이 세상의 통치자가 심판을 받기 때문이라."(요 16:7-11)고 말씀하셨다.

       하나님께서는 이 세상 통치자인 마귀를 심판하시어  땅의 소유권을 회복하신 후에 그분께서 기뻐하시는 의인들에게 다시 돌려주실 것이다. 주님께서 친히 땅에 내려오셔서 이 땅을 통치하실 천 년 동안 주님의 백성들과 하나님의 자녀들에게 보상하실 것이라고 성경은 말씀하신다. 마치 노아 홍수 이후에 온 땅을 의인 노아와 그의 가족들에게 주신 것처럼 말이다. 이로 인하여 주님께서는 이에 대하여 말씀하셨다. "그러나 노아의 날들과 같이 인자의 오는 것도 그러하리라."(마 24:37) 다윗 왕은 이 날을 바라보면서 에언했다: "주께서 내 원수의 면전에서 내 앞에 식탁을 마련하시나이다. 주께서 내 머리에 기름으로 부으시어 내 잔이 넘치나이다."(시 23:5)  다윗은 주 예수 그리스도께서 땅을 통치하실 때 다시 한번 그에게 기름을 부어 통치자로 세우실 것을 성령 안에서 미리 알았던 것이다. 선지자 에스겔은 이 사실에 대해 예언했다: "내가 한 목자를 그들 위에 세우면 그가 그들을 먹이리니, 곧 나의 종 다윗이라. 그가 그들을 먹일 것이요, 그가 그들의 목자가 되리라. 나 주는 그들의 하나님이 되고 내 종 다윗은 그들 가운데 통치자가 되리라. 나 주가 그것을 말하였노라."(겔 34:23,24)

         하나님께서 어떤 사람들에게 이 땅을 물려주실지에 대하여 하나님께서 성경 여러 곳에서 말씀하셨다. 우선 먼저 하나님께서는 이 땅을 자신의 독생자이신 주 예수 그리스도께 유업으로 주셨다고 말씀하셨다: "내가 칙령을 선포하리라. 주께서 내게 말씀하시기를  "'내가 나의 거룩한 산 시온 위에 내 왕을 세웠도다.' 하시리라. 너는 내 아들이라. 오늘 내가 너를 낳았노라. 내게 구하라. 그러면 내가 너에게 이방을 네 유업으로 땅의 맨 끝을 네 소유로 주리라. 네가 그들을 철장으로 깨뜨릴 것이며, 토기장이의 질그릇같이 산산이 부수리라."(시 2:6-9)

하나님께서 아브라함을 부르셨을 때, 그와 언약을 세우시고 그의 씨로 오실 예수 그리스도께서 차지하실 땅에 대하여 미리 말씀하셨다: "내가 이 땅을 이집트 강에서부터 큰 강 유프라테스까지 네 씨에게 주었으니…"(창 15:18) 사도 바울은 그의 씨가 바로 주 예수 그리스도시라고 증거했다 (갈 3:16)

      주님께서 산에 오르셨을 때 나아오는 유대인 제자들을 향하여 앞으로 자신이 왕으로 오실 때 땅을 유업으로 받을 자들에 대하여 말씀하셨다: "온유한 자들은 복이 있나니, 그들이 땅을 유업으로 받을 것임이요"(마 5:5) 이 말씀는 다니엘을 통하여 미리 예언하신 칠십 이레 중 유대인들이 마지막으로 통과해야 할 한 이레인 야곱의 고난의 때인 칠 년 대 환란(단 9:24-27) 때에 회개한  남은 자들(슥 12:10)과 부활한 사람 가운데 영원한 생명을 받게(단 12:2,3)되어 천년 왕국에 들어갈 자에 대하여 미리 말씀하신 것이다.

       하나님께서는 앞으로 천년 왕국 때에 통치자로서 이스라엘을 통치하게 될 다윗을 통하여 앞으로 어떤 자들이 이 땅을 차지하게 될지에 대하여 예언하게 하셨다:

"행악자는 끊어질 것이나 주를 기다리는 자들은 땅을 유업으로 받으리라. 잠시 후면 악인이 없어지리니 정녕, 네가 그가 있던 곳을 열심히 찾을지라도 그것이 없을 것이라. 그러나 온유한 자들은 땅을 유업으로 받을 것이요, 화평의 풍요함으로 기뻐하리로다."(시 37:9-11)

"그로부터 복을 받은 자는 땅을 유업으로 받을 것이요, 그로부터 저주를 받은 자들은 끊어지리로다."(시 37:22)

"의인은 땅을 유업으로 받을 것이며 거기서 영원히 거하리라."(시 37:29)

"주를 기다리고 그의 길을 지키라. 그리하면 그가 너를 높여 땅을 유업으로 받게 하시리라. 그때 악인은 끊어지리니 네가 그것을 보리라.'(시 37:34)

        주 예수 그리스도께서는 그의 신부인 교회를 하늘로 끌어올리신 후에 이 땅에 마지막 심판을 퍼부으시어 마지막으로 회개할 기회를 주실 것이다. 그때 회개하고 끝까지 견딘(마 24:13) 이스라엘의 남은 자들과 이방인 가운데 회개하고 예 수 그리스도를 믿어 끝까지 견디어 어린 양의 피로 옷을 씻어 희게 한 사람들(계 7:9-14)은 천년 왕국에 들어갈 것이다

지금은 마귀의 신부인 로마 교회가 이 세상을 통치하고 있지만  조만간 때가 되어 휴거된 그리스도의 신부인 하나님의 교회가 하늘에서 주님과 함께 칠 년 동안 혼인식(계 19:7-9)을 마친 휴거된 성도들은 주님과 함께 군사들이 되어 이 땅에 내려올 때(계 19:14) 마귀의 신부가 되어 적그리스도와 함께 땅을 통치하는 큰 바벨론을 멸망시키고 주님과 함께 내려온 하나님의 교회는 그리스도와 함께 세상의 악인들과 천사들까지 심판하고(고전 6:2,3) 현 세상에서 그리스도와 함께 고난 받은 만큼 그리스도와 함께 천 년 동안 왕노릇(딤후 2:12)하는 상을 받게 될 것이다 (계 20;6).

       적그리스도의 신부인 로마 교회가 현 세상을 통치해 왔듯이 그리스도의 신부가 그리스도와 함께 땅을 통치하게 되는 것은 너무도 당연한 일이 아니겠는가? 또한 지금 은혜 시대에 태어난 사람들은 예수 그리스도의 복음을 믿음으로써 의롭게 되어 천년왕국에서는 그리스도와 함께 다스리는 축복, 그리고  천년 후에는 예수 그리스도와  새 예루살렘에서 영원토록 사는 축복을 주셨으니 이 얼마나 복된 소망인가? 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 96:1-13

Main scripture: Isaiah 45:18

Subject: Eternal will of God for the earth

    In the main passage, God the Creator of heaven and earth clearly speaks unto us:

 "For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else."(Isa. 45:18)

God the LORD is engraving his Royal Seal on his word saying "I am the Lord". In addition, God proclaimed again saying,

 "Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever."(Ps. 104:5)

        God spoke again:

  "Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth. The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men."(Ps. 115:15,16)

God spoke of the ownership of heavens and earth; heavens are the Lord's and the earth is for men.

       But, unfortunately, the earth that was given to men  has been stolen by the devil, Lucifer that was cast out from heaven. The first man became the servant of the devil that brought forth sin to the earth. Henceforth, the ownership of the earth has been taken over to the devil according to the law of righteousness of God. The devil came to Jesus that God was manifested in flesh spoke of his ownership of the earth:

 "All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine."(Luke 4:6,7)

Jesus did not make any objection against his word, for as he said, "Whosoever commiteth sin is the servant of sin"(John 8:34), he recognized the ownership of the earth for the devil according to the law of righteousness of God, because man sinned.

       Since man lost the earth by the devil, God made a plan to retain the earth to return to the children of men (Gen. 3:15). To do this, God had to pay for the sin of the world according to the law of righteousness of God. And to make men live in the earth forever, God had to destroy death. This is the way to destroy the devil that has the power of sin and death.

       Apostle Paul testified of this:

 "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage."(Heb. 2:14,15)  "For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death."(1Cor. 15:25,26)

       The first thing that the Lord Jesus has to do when he come again to the earth is to bind  the devil that has occupied the earth into the bottomless pit that is the prison made by God for thousand years. Apostle John testified of this:

 "And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season."(Rev. 20:1-3)

       In other word, the earth shall be the Millennium of Jesus Christ without temptation of the devil since Jesus Christ come back to the earth.

When Jesus Christ took away the sin of the world through his death (John 1:29) and resurrection the third day, the devil has been judged that has the power of sin and death; and Jesus Christ will come again to execute the devil according to the sentence unto him, and to take over the earth again. Jesus Christ testified of the judgment of the devil:

"Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged."(John 16:7-11)

       God will return the earth unto the righteous for his pleasure, after God judge the prince of the world, the devil, and restore the ownership of the earth. The Lord Jesus Christ will come down the earth to reward his people as well as the children of God in his Millennium, as God gave the whole earth unto Noah and his family after the flood. Jesus said of this, "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."(Matt. 24:37) King David prophesied looking forward to this day:

 "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over."(Ps. 23:5)

       King David foreknew in the Spirit that the Lord Jesus Christ will anoint his again in his Millennium. Prophet Ezekiel prophesied of this:

"And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the Lord have spoken it."(Ez. 34:23,24)

       God spoke of unto what kind of people shall take over the earth in many places in the scriptures. First of all, God shall give the earth unto the Lord Jesus Christ, only begotten Son of God as he said,

"Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

9Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel."(Ps. 2:6-9)

When God called Abraham, he made a covenant, and said, Jesus Christ that is coming as his seed shall receive the inheritance: "Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:"(Gen. 15:18)

And Apostle Paul testified of his seed as the Lord Jesus Christ to come:

"Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."(Matt. 5:5)

         When Jesus went up into a mountain; and he was set, his disciples came unto him; Jesus spoke about who shall receive the earth as their inheritance when he come as the King: "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."(Matt. 5:5)

Jesus spoke about the remnant of Israel that shall repent in the last week(Zech. 12:10) that is the Great Tribulation of the seventy weeks that is the tribulation of Jacob prophesied by Daniel (Dan. 9:24-27), and them that shall resurrect to receive the life eternal (Dan. 12:2,3) to enter into the Millennium of Jesus Christ.

       God allowed David that shall be the prince in the Millennium of Jesus Christ to prophesy who shall occupy the earth in the Millennium of Jesus Christ:

"For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."(Ps. 37:9-11)

"For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off."(Ps. 37:22)

"The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever."(Ps. 37:29)

"Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it."(Ps. 37:34)

       After Jesus Christ translate his bride that is his church to heaven, he will give the last chance to the world for repentance through the last judgment. The, the remnant of Israel that repent, and endure unto the end (Matt. 24:13), and the Gentiles that repent to believe on Jesus Christ and endure unto the end washing their robes and making them white in the blood of the Lamb (Rev. 7:9-14) shall enter into the Millennium of Jesus Christ. Still now, the Roman Catholic church that is the bride of the devil is reigning in this world.  Sooner or later, the bride of Christ that is his church that is raptured shall come back to the earth as the army of heaven with Christ after she spend time in the marriage of the Lamb (Rev. 19:7-9) for seven years. Then, Jesus Christ shall destroy the Great Babylon, the bride of the devil  that is to rule over the world with the Antichrist; and the bride of Christ that comes with Christ shall judge the wicked people as well as even the angels together with Christ (1Cor. 6:2,3). And they shall reign with Christ as much as they suffered with Christ (2Tim 2;12, Rev. 20:6).

       As the bride of Antichrist has been ruling over the world, isn't it fair enough that the bride of Christ shall reign in the world with Christ? Whosoever is born in the age of grace is blessed to believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ to be justified, and to reign with Christ in the Millennium of Jesus Christ, and after Millennium, to dwell in the New Jerusalem with Jesus Christ forever and ever. What a blessed hope it is! Amen! Hallelujah!
