금주의 묵상: 이사야 35:1-10

본문: 이사야 43:18-21

제목: 새 일을 선포하시고 행하시는 하나님

       하나님께서는 마침내 선지자 이사야를 통하여 자신의 백성 이스라엘을 위로하라는 메세지 주셨다.  앞으로 광야에서 외치는 자의 소리로 나타나게 될 침례한 요한의 출현도 예언하셨다. 마침내 요한을 통하여 예수 그리스도를 이스라엘 백성에게 나타내실 때 주 하나님의 영광이 나타날 것을 예언하셨다. 또한 그분께서 마귀를 멸하시려 다시 오실 때에 그분께서 강하신 손으로 오셔서 그의 팔로 친히 다스리실 것이며, 그때에 시온은 높은 산에 오를 것이며, 예루살렘은 기쁜 소식을 가져오게 될 것이라고 말씀하셨다.. 또한 그때에 모든 유다의 성읍들은 예수 그리스도가 자신들의 하나님이심을 보게 될 것이다 (사 40:1-11).

        또한 선지자 이사야는 하나님의 종으로 이 땅에 나타나시는 예수 그리스도에 대하여 예언했는데, 하나님의 영이 그분 안에 있을 것이며, 그분께서 이방인들을 심판하실 것이라고 말씀하셨다. 그분은 외치지도 않고 음성을 높이지도 아니하며 그의 음성이 길거리에도 들리지 않게 하실 것이다. 그는 상한 갈대를 꺾지 아니하며 연기나는 심지를 끄지 아니하고,  심판을 진리로 가져오실 것이다. 또한 그분은 이스라엘 백성의 언약과 이방인들의 빛으로 오실 것이다. 그분의 빛, 즉 생명의 빛(요 1:4)을 보고 앞 못보는 눈들을 뜨게 하며, 감옥에서 갇힌 자들을 이끌어 내며 암흑 속에 앉은 자들을 감옥에서 이끌어내실 것이라고 말씀하셨다.(사 42:1-7)

       마침내 하나님께서는 새 일을 선포하실 것이다. 또한 그 일들이 시작되기 전에 하나님께서는 그 일들을 백성들에게 말하실 것이다. 이로 인하여 바다로 내려가는 백성들과, 그 안에 있는 모든 것들과 산들과 거민들은 새 노래로 주께 노래하며 땅 끝에서부터 그분을 찬양하라고 말씀하신다 (사 42:8-12) 그러나 이 새 일들은 범죄한 이스라엘이 징계를 받은 후 먼 훗날에 있을 것을 또한 말씀하신다. 우상들을 섬기던 이스라엘이 바벨론에 의한 70년 간의 포로 생활을 시작으로 메데와 페르시아와 헬라 그리고 로마의 지배를 받게 될 것이라는 것이다. 그후에 그들의 메시야를 십자가에서 처형하고 기원 70년에 로마에 의해 초토화 되고 세계 모든 나라로 뿔뿔히 흩어지게 될 것이다. 마침내 그들은 다니엘을 통하여 예언하신 칠십 번째 이레인 7년 대 환란이라는 마지막 용광로에서 연단을 받고 회개한 후에 새 일들이 나타나게 될 것이다.

     마침내 하나님께서는 이사야를 통하여 선택받은 민족 이스라엘이 구속받고 회복될 것을 말씀하셨다. 그분께서는 제일 먼저 이스라엘에 대하여 "너를 조성하신 분이 말하노라. 두려워 말라. 내가 너를 구속하였고, 내가 너를 지명하여 불렀으니, 너는 내 것이라. 네가 물들을 통과할 때에도 내가 너와 함께 있을 것이며, 네가 강들을 통과할 때에도 물이 너를 덮지 못할 것이라. 네가 불 속을 통과해서 걸을 때에도 타지 않을 것이며, 불꽃이 네 위에서 타지 못할 것이라."(사 43:1,2)고 말씀하셨다.

        하나님께서는 앞으로 그의 백성들이 적그리스도가 통치하는 대 환란에서 당할 모든 고난 가운데서 구해내실 것이라고 말씀하신다. 사도 요한은 성령 안에서 이 광경을 미리 보고 증거했다: "그 용이 자기가 땅으로 쫓겨난 것을 알고서 사내 아이(예수 그리스도)를 출산한 그 여인(이스라엘)을 박해하더라. 그때 그 여인이 큰 독수리의 두 날개를 받았는데, 이는 그녀가 광야에 있는 자기 처소로 날아가서 그곳에서 그 뱀의 낯을 피하여 한 때와 두 때와 반 때를 부양받으려 함이더라. 그 뱀이 여인(이스라엘 백성) 뒤에다 자기 입에서 물을 홍수같이 쏟아 그 여인을 홍수에 떠내려가게 하려 하되 그 땅이 그 여인을 도와 그 입을 벌려 용이 그 입에서 쏟은 홍수를 삼켜버리더라."(계 12:13-16)

또한 이스라엘이 바벨론에 포로잡혀 있을 때에 느부갓네살 왕이 세운 금신상에 절하지 않았던 사드락, 메삭, 아벳느고를 용광로 불 속에 던졌다. 그들은 불 속에서 하나님의 아들같은 분과 함께 걸어다니고 있었다. 그때에 불이 그들의 머리카락 하나도 그슬리지 못하였고 그들의 옷도 변하지 않았으며 그들에게 불탄 냄새조차 없었다(단 3:19-28). 이것은 앞으로 대환란 때에 큰 바벨론이 적그리스도 통치 하에서 이스라엘을 박해할 때에도 이스라엘의 남은 자들이 용광로같은 대 환란을 끝까지 견디어 그리스도의 왕국에 들어갈 것을 미리 보여주신 것이다.

       이제 마침내 하나님께서는 선지자 이사야를 통하여 새 일을 행하실 것을 선포하신다: "너희는 이전 일들을 기억하지 말며, 옛날 일을 생각하지 말라. 보라, 내가 새 일을 행하리니 이제 나타나리라. 너희가 그 일을 알지 못하겠느냐? 내가 정녕 광야에 길을, 사막에 강들을 내리라.  들의 짐승이 나를 존경할 것이요, 용들과 올빼미들도 그러하리라. 이는 내가 광야에 물들을 사막에 강들을 주어 나의 백성, 나의 택한 자로 마시게 할 것임이라. 이 백성은 나를 위하여 조성하였나니 그들이 나의 찬양을 나타내 보이리라."(사 43:18-21)

        그후에 하나님께서는 바벨론에 포로로 잡혀간 선지자 에스겔에게 하나님께서 그 백성을 위하여 행하실 새 일을 성령 안에서 보여주셨다. 또한 이스라엘이 회복된 후 하나님의 성전이 예루살렘에 재건될 것을 자세하게 보여주셨다(겔 40-46장). 그리고 성전 문지방 아래서 물이 흘러나와 동편으로 흘러가다가 남쪽으로 흘러가는 것을 보았다. 손에 줄을 잡은 사람이 네 번에 걸쳐 일천 규빗을 재니 헤엄칠 물과 같은 강물이 되어 남쪽으로 흘러가는 것을 보았다. 그 강물이 지금 팔레스타인 땅에 있는 시해 바다로 흘러 들어가니 그 물이 치유되어 살아나서 더 이상 사해(죽은 바다)가 아닌 살아있는 바다가 되어 큰 고기떼들이 있게 되어 어부들이 나타나게 되었다.  또한 강가 양 쪽에는 양식이 될 모든 나무들이 자라고 그 잎사귀들이 시들지 않고, 그 과실도 다하지 않았다. 나무들은 달마다 새로운 과실을 내며 그 잎사귀는 약이 되었다. 그 강물이 흐르는 곳에 모든 것이 살아났던 것이다 (겔 47:1-12).

        그렇다!  이스라엘은 하나님께 소망을 두지 않고 우상들을 섬기다가 마침내 그들의 메시야까지 몰라보는 소경들이 되어 그들을 인도하던 소경들인 종교지도자들(바리개인, 사두개인과 서기관)을 따라가다가 결국은 하나님이신 예수 그리스도까지 죽였다. 그러나 하나님께서는 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에 주신 조건 없는 언약을 기억하시고  마침내 대 환란 때 회개하는 이스라엘의 남은 자들을 통하여 이스라엘을 회복하시고 이 땅에 있는 시온산인 예루살렘 산 위에 그의 왕국을 세우실 것이다. 옛날에 그들이 범죄하였을 때 그들은 선지자 예레미야의 예언대로 사람과 육신을 그들의 무기로 삼다가 그들의 마음이 주로부터 멀리 떠나 그들은 마치 사막에 있는 히스나무같이 되어 좋은 때를 보지 못하고 광야와 소금 땅과 사람이 살지 않는 바싹 마른 곳인 온 세상에 흩어져서 수치 가운데 살았던 것이다 (렘 17:5,6) 그러나 그들이 다시 회개하여 주님을 찾을 때에 그들은 물가에 심겨진 나무가 강가에 그 뿌리를 뻗침과 같게 되어 더위가 와도 걱정하지 않고 그 잎이 푸르러 가뭄의 해에도 염려하지 않고 열매를 맺는 것도 그치지 않게 될  것이다(렘 17:7,8)

         하나님께서는 자신의 독생자를 종의 형체로 보내셔서 이스라엘을 회복하시기 전에 유대인이나 이방인이나 할 것 없이 모두에게 새 일을 행하셨다. 예수께서는 선지자 이사야가 예언한 새 일을 행하시기 전에 예루살렘에 나타나셔서 큰 소리로 외치셨다: "누구든지 목마르거든 내게로 와서 마시라. 나를 믿는 자는 성경이 말씀한 것과 같이, 그의 배에서 생수의 강들이 흐르리라."(요 7:37,38) 사도 요한은 생수의 강이 앞으로 예수께서 세상 죄를 제거하시기  위해 죽으시고 부활하신 후에 그를 믿는 자들에게 주실 성령이라고 증거했다 (요 7:39). 사도 바울은 예수 그리스도께서 행하신 새 일을 믿고 영원한 생명을 성령을 통하여 받는 그리스도의 복음을 선포했다 "내가 그리스도의 복음을 부끄러워하지 아니하노니 이는 이 복음이 믿는 모든 사람을 구원에 이르게 하는 하나님의 능력이 됨이라. 첫째는 유대인에게요, 또한 헬라인에게로다."(롬 1;16) 또한 그분이 행하신 새 일을 받아들여 새롭게 될 사람들에 대하여 "그러므로 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라. 옛 것들은 지나갔으니, 보라, 새롭게 되었도다."(고후 5:17)라고 선포했다.

         예수 그리스도께서는 성령을 통하여 지금도 새 일을 행하시고 계신다. 사막같이 메마른 심령 가운데 소망 없이 헤메는 죄인들읗 향하여 성령을 통하여 "나(예수)를 믿지 않는 것이 죄"라고 책망하시며 외치고 계신다. 그러나 조만간 이 외침도 사라지게 될 것이다. 그리스도께서 나타나셔서 하나님의 교회를 하늘로 들려올리신 후에 유대인들과 이방인들에게 마지막 기회를 다시 한 번 주실 것이다. 하나님께서는 온 세상을 마귀와 적그리스와 거짓 선지자의 손에 넘겨주실 것이다. 이 때에라도 회개하여 예수 그리스도를 믿고 그의 계명을 지키기 위하여 짐승의 표를 받지 않고 끝까지 견디는 소수의 사람들만이 구원받게 될 것이다. 그러나 그들은 성령을 받지 못하였기에 하늘에는 올라가지 못할 것이다. 그러나 그들은 이 땅에 새 일을 행하신  그리스도의 천년왕국에 들어가게 될 것이다. 그러므로 오늘이 바로 은혜받을 때요 구원의 날인 것이다. 앞으로 나타날 새 일에 대하여 하나님의 말씀을 자세히 보지 않으면 영원히 기회를 놓치게 될 것이다. 세상 사람들이 쓴 책들은 하나님께서 행하실 새 일들을 가려놓은 책들인 것이다. 또한 영적인 소경들이 하나님의 말씀을 변개해 놓은 성경들 역시 새 일들을 가려놓은 것들이다. 주님께서 사도 요한에게 하신 말씀을 기억하자:

 "또 보좌에 앉으신 분이 말씀하시기를 '보라, 내가 만물을 새롭게 만드노라.' 하시고 이 말씀들은 참되고 신실하니 기록하라….. 또 성령과 신부가 말하기를 '오라.' 하더라. 듣는 자도 '오라' 말하게 하고, 또 목마른 자도 오게 하며 원하는 자는 누구든지 생명수를 값었이 마시게 할지어다."(계 21:5; 22:17) 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Isaiah 35:1-10

Main scripture: Isaiah 43:18-21

Subject: The Lord God declared new things to bring forth them.

     Finally, God gave the message to comfort his people of Israel through prophet Isaiah. He also prophesied of John the Baptist to come as the voice in the wilderness. Isaiah also prophesied of John the Baptist that reveal Jesus Christ unto Israel to show them the glory of the LORD God. And Jesus Christ shall come to the earth with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him; and he shall destroy the devil. Then, Zion shall get up unto the high mountain, and Jerusalem shall bring good tidings. And all the cities of Judah shall behold Jesus Christ as their Messiah God (Isa. 40:1-11)

       Prophet Isaiah prophesied of Jesus Christ to come to the earth as the servant of God; then the Spirit of God shall be upon him. He shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall come as the light of the Gentiles as well as the covenant of the people. He shall open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. (Isa. 42:1-7)

       Finally, God will declare new things; and he will tell the people before they spring forth. And God asks to sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth (Isa. 42:8-12) And these new things shall be brought forth in the future long time  after people of Israel are chastened. Beginning 70 years of captivity in Babylon, they shall be under rule of Media and Persia and Greece and Roman Empire. Afterwards, they shall crucify their Messiah, and shall be devastated by Roman Empire in AD 70 to be scattered into all the nations in the world. Finally, after they pass through the final trial in the furnace to repent during the Great Tribulation as prophesied by Daniel, the new things shall be  brought forth.

       At last, God spoke through Isaiah to restore his Chosen Israel through redemption:

"But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee."(Isa. 43:1,2)

      God will deliver his people in the midst of the Great Tribulation under rule of the Antichrist. Apostle John saw this scene in the Spirit, and testified:

 "And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth."(Rev. 12:13-16)

During the time of captivity of Israel in Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace, because they not worshipped the golden image. Then, they were walking in the midst of fire with the one like the Son of God, and they had no hurt. And upon their bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.(Dan. 3:19-28) Through these three men of Israel, God showed the remnant of Israel to enter the kingdom of Christ Jesus after they endure to the end of the Great Tribulation like furnace passing through persecution of the Antichrist.

       Now, God declares new things through prophet Isaiah:

"Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise."(Isa. 43:18-21)

       Afterward, God showed prophet Ezekiel in the captivity in Babylon of new things to bring forth for his people in the Spirit. God also showed the temple to be built in Jerusalem in details after Israel is to be restored (Ezekiel 40-46 chapters). He saw the waters issued out from under the threshold of the house  eastward: and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the house. And the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward; he measured a thousand cubits four times, there was a river that he could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over. The waters flowed down to southward into the Dead Sea in the land of Palestine, and the waters were healed; and there happened to be multitude of fish as well as fishermen. And by the river upon the bank thereof, on both sides grew all trees for meat, whose leaf not faded, neither the fruits thereof not consumed; it was to bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary; and the fruit there was to be meat, and the leaf thereof was to be medicine. And it came to pass, that every thing that lived, which moved, whatsoever the rivers should come, should live.(Ez. 47:1-12)

      Yea! Israel worshipped idols not trusting in their God; and they ended up with blindness so that they not recognized their Messiah to follow blind religious hypocrites such as Pharisees and Sadducees and Scribes. At the end, they killed their Messiah God, Jesus Christ. But remembering the covenant without condition given unto Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, God shall restore Israel through the remnant that shall repent in the midst of the Great Tribulation to build his kingdom in Jerusalem that is Mount Zion. When Israel sinned against the LORD God, as Jeremiah prophesied, they trusted in man , and made flesh their arm, and their heart departed from the LORD; and they became like heath in the desert, and not saw when good came; but they inhabited the parched place in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. And they had to be scattered into the world to live under shame (Jer. 17:5,6).  But, when they repent their sins and seek their LORD God again, they shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and shall spread out  their roots by the river, and shall not see when heat comes: but their leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit again (Jer. 17:7,8).

       God sent his only begotten Son in the form of a servant, and has done new things for the Jew and the Gentiles for two thousand years already, even before he restores Israel. Jesus cried out with a loud voice before he did new things that was prophesied by Isaiah saying,

"If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."(John 7:37,38)

Apostle John testified of the rivers of living water that is the Holy Ghost that is to be given unto them that believe in him after he dies to take away the sin of the world and rise again (John 7:39). Apostle Paul also preached the gospel of Christ that gives the eternal life through the Holy Ghost through believing in the new thing done by Jesus Christ:

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."(Rom. 1:16) He also testified of them that shall be renewed through receiving the new things made by him:

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."(2Cor. 5:17)

         Jesus Christ is still doing the new thing through the Holy Ghost. He is still crying out toward sinners that are wandering in the hopeless heart as the wilderness reproving "Of sin, because they not believe in him". But sooner or later, his crying shall be ended. He will give the last chance unto the Jew and the Gentiles in the midst of the Great Tribulation one more time, after the church of God is translated to heaven. God will hand the world unto the devil and the Antichrist and the false prophet; then the little shall be saved when they believe in Jesus and keep his commandments not receiving the mark of Beast enduring to the end. But they shall not go to heaven, for they are not born of the Spirit. They shall enter into the Millennium of Christ where God does new thing. This is the reason why today is the day for salvation and grace. Unless you search the scriptures to find out the new things to come, shall lose the opportunity forever. All the books written by man are hiding the new things of God. Many spiritual blind men changed the scriptures to hide the new things also. Let us remember what the Lord Jesus spoke unto Apostle John:

"And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful…. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."(Rev. 21:5; 22:17) Amen! Hallelujah!
