금주의 묵상: 시편 97:1-12

본문: 시편 2:1-12

제목: 헛된 일과 영원히 헛되지 않은 일

       오늘 본문에서 “어찌하여 이방이 분노하며, 백성들이 헛된 일을 꾀하는가? 땅의 왕들이 나서고 치리자들이 서로 의논하여 주와 그의 기름부음 받은 이를 대적하여 말하기를 ‘우리가 그들의 결박을 끊고 그들의 멍에를 벗어버리자.’ 하는도다.”(시 2:1-3)라고 말씀하신다.

       기름부음 받은 이가 누구인가? 우리 주 예수 그리스도가 아니신가? 아담이 범죄하여 땅의 왕권을 마귀에게 빼앗기고 난 후에 이 땅의 통치자로 군림한 마귀는 하나님으로부터 기름부음 받으신 예수 그리스도를 대적하고 그의 백성 이스라엘을 이 지구상에서 쓸어버리려고 온갖 획책을 다 해 왔다. 마침내 인류 역사 사천 년이 지난 어느날 그리스도께서 유대 땅 베들레헴에 태어나셨을 때에 헤롯 왕은 동방에서 온 현지들의 말을 듣고 예수님을 죽이기 위하여 두 살부터 그 아래로 다 죽였다(마 2:1-18).

      그러나 그리스도 예수께서는 모든 유대인들과 이방인들의 죄를 위하여 성경대로 죽으시고 장사되셨다가 성경대로 셋째 날에 부활하심으로써 그를 믿는 자들을 구원하시는 그리스도의 복음을 완성하셨다. 그리스도께서 부활 승천하신 후에도 여전히 마귀의 종들은 그리스도의 사도들을 핍박하며 감옥에 쳐 넣었고 죽인 것이다. 사도들이 풀려난 후 사도들의 말을 들은 그의 동료들은 오늘 본문 말씀에 다윗의 입을 통해 하신 예언의 말씀을 기억하면서 말했다: “어찌하여 이방이 분노하며 백성들이 헛된 일들을 꾀하는가? 땅의 왕들이 일어서고 또 치리자들이 함께 모여 주와 그의 그리스도를 대적하였도다.”(행 4:25,26)   그들이 기도하였을 때 그들이 모여 있는 곳이 진동하면서 그들 모두가 성령으로 충만하게 되어 담대하게 하나님의 말씀을 전파하였다.

      지금까지 인류 역사는 하나님의 백성들과 하나님의 자녀들인 그리스도인들을 핍박하고 죽이는 피의 발자취로 점철되어 왔다. 마귀의 신부로 세워진 로마 교회는 서기 325년 니케아 종교 회의 이후 지금까지 유대인들을 하나님께서 약속하신 필레스타인 땅으로부터 완전히 몰아낼뿐만 아니라 그들을 모두 살육하려는 계획을 세우고 지금도 UN과 더불어 변함없이 행해왔으며 거듭난 그리스도인들도 수없이 살육하였다. 또한 19세기 말에 들어와서는 에덴 동산에 나타났던 뱀처럼 하나님의 말씀을 변개하여 사람들이 구원받는 것을 방해하였으며 거듭난 그리스도인들이 순전한 진리의 말씀을 듣지 못하도록 교묘한 술책으로 사람들을 속여왔던 것이다. 그 대표적인 예가 1884년에 그들이 만들어내어 한국에 까지 들어오게 한  RV(개역성경)이며 1901년에 역시 그들의 손으로 변개한 ASV(미국 표준 역본)를 통하여 미국을 명실상부한 로마 캐톨릭 국가로 전락하게 하였으며 마침내 카톨릭 대통령까지 나타나게 되었던 것이다..

      그러나 본문에서는 하나님께서 그들에 대하여 어떻게 말씀하시는가?

      하늘들에 앉으신 분이 웃으실 것이며 주께서 그들을 조롱하시며. 그때 그가 진노 가운데 그들에게 말씀하시고 심히 불쾌하여 그들에게 화내실 것이라고 말씀하신다 (시 2:4,5) 다시 말해서 그리스도께서 자신의 신부인 교회를 하늘로 데려가신 후에 7년 대 환란 때에 이 땅에 엄청난 하나님의 진노를 내리실 것이라는 예언의  말씀인 것이다(계 6:1-18:24).

     또 어떻게 말씀하시는가? “내가 나의 거룩한 시온 위에 내 왕을 세웠도다.” (시 2:6) 하나님께서는 자신의 계획에 따라 마귀가 세운 적그리스도를 폐하시고 만왕의 왕이며 만주의 주이신 예수 그리스도를 예루살렘에 있는 왕의 보좌에 앉히실 것이라는 말씀이다.

      하나님께서는 칙령을 선포하셨다. 칙령은 선포하신 분까지도 바꿀 수 없는 엄격한 법인 것이다. “내가 칙령을 선포하리하. 주께서 내게 말씀하시기를 ‘너는 내 아들이라. 오늘 내가 너를 낳았노라. 내게 구하라 그러면 내가 너에게 이방을 유업으로, 땅의 맨 끝을 네 소유로 주리라.”(시 2:7,8) 이 땅에 예수라는 이름으로 유대인의 왕으로 태어나신 사람이 하나님께서 친히 낳으신 독생자 하나님이시며 예수 그리스도께 아버지께서 이 지구를 통치할 왕으로삼으셨기에 이 땅을 그분에게 돌려주시겠다는 약속인 것이다. 사도 바울은 예수 그리스도께서 이 땅을 창조하신 창조주라는 사실을 증거했다: “그는 보이지 않는 하나님의 형상이시며 모든 피조물의 첫태생이시니 이는 만물이 그에 의하여 창조되되 하늘에 있는 것들과 땅에 있는 것들과 보이는 것들과 보이지 않는 것들과 보좌들이나 주권들이나 정사들이나 권세들이나 만물이 그에 의하여 또 그를 위하여 창조되었기 때문이라. 그는 만물 이전에 계시고 또 만물은 그로 말미암아 존속하느니라.”(골 1:15-17)

     하나님께서는 계속 말씀하신다: “네가 그들을 철장으로 깨뜨릴 것이며, 토기장이의 질그릇같이 산산이 부수리라.”(시 2:9)

주 예수 그리스도께서 이 땅에서 통치하시는 천년왕국 때에는 그분은 더 이상 어린 양처럼 고난당하시고 죽임 당하시는 분이 아니시다. 그때에는 율법이 시온에서 나올 것이며, 주의 말씀이 예루살렘으로부터 나오게 될 것이다(사 2:3). 그때에 죄를 지은 사람은 가차없이 그의 철장으로 죽임을 당하게 될 것이다. 다윗왕은 앞으로 그리스도의 천년왕국에 들어갈 자에 대하여 증거했다:

“주의 산에 오를 자가 누구며 그의 거룩한 곳에 설 자가 누구인가? 깨끗한 손과 순결한 마음을 지닌 사람이니 그는 헛된 것에 자기 혼을 들어올리지 아니하며 거짓되이 맹세하지 아니하였도다. 그는 주로부터 복을 받고그의 구원의 하나님으로부터 의를 받으리라.”(시 24:3-5)

       하나님께서는 땅의 통치자들을 향하여 “오 너희 왕들아, 이제 현명해지라 너희 땅의 재판관들아, 교훈을 받을지어다. 두려움으로 주를 섬기고 떨림으로 즐거워하라. 그 아들에게 입맞추라. 그렇지 않으면 그가 노할 실 것이요, 그가 조금만 격분하셔도 너희가 그 길에서 망하리라.”(시 2:10-12)고 경고의 말씀을 주신다. 이 땅에 있는 통치자들과 권세자들이 누리고 있는 권세는 모두가 하나님께로부터 온 것이기 때문이다. 주님께서 이에 대하여 빌라도에게 친히 말씀하셨다: “위에서 네게 주신 것이 아니라면 너는 나를 대적할 아무런 권세도 갖지 못하였을 것이니라.”(요 19:11) 사도 바울도 이 세상 권세에 대하여 “각 사람은 위에 있는 권세자들에게 복종하라. 하나님께로부터 나오지 않은 권세는 없나니, 모든 권세는 하나님께서 정하신 것이라.”(롬 13:1)고 증거했다.

     마침내 하나님께서는 지상에 태어난 모든 사람들에게 말씀하신다: “그를 신뢰하는 모든 사람은 복이 있도다.”(시 2:12) 하나님께서는 지금까지 인류 역사 육천 년 동안 모든 시대에 살고 있었던 사람들에게 하나님을 알만한 양심을 주셨다. 그러므로 아무도 변명할 수 없다고 사도 바울이 증거했다:

“하나님의 진노가 불의 가운데 진리를 붙잡는 사람들의 모든 불경건과 불의에 대하여 하늘로부터 계시되거니와 이는 하나님을 알만한 것이 그들 속에 나타나 있기 때문이니 하나님께서 그것을 그들에게 보이셨음이라. 세상의 창조 때부터 그분께 속한 보이지 않는 것들이 분명히 보여졌고 심지어는 그분의 영원한 능력과 신격까지 만들어진 것들에 의해 알려졌으므로 그들이 변명하지 못하느니라.”(롬 1:18-20)

       특별히 본문에서 말씀하시는 하나님의 경고의 말씀은 은혜 시대가 지나고 대 환란 때와 천년왕국의 때에 살 사람들에 대한 경고이며 축복의 말씀이기도 한 것이다. 그러므로 지금 이 시대에 현명하게 되는 유일 한 길은 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주께서 우리가 아직 죄인 되었을 때 우리의 죄들을 위하여 성경대로 죽으시고 장사까지 되셨다가 성경대로 셋째 날에 살아나신 것을 믿음으로써 성령으로 다시 태어나 하나님의 자녀로, 그리고 그리스도의 신부된 교회의 일원이 되는 은혜를 받는 것이다. 그러나 조만간 때가 차게 되어 그리스도께서 나타나시는 휴거의 날이 오면, 때는 이미 늦은 것이다. 그를 신뢰하는 자가 받는 복이 무엇인가? 영원한 생명인 것이다.

      지금도 모든 이방나라와 유대인들과 하나님의 교회들까지도 얼마나 헛된 일들을 꾀하고 있는가? 그들이 기름부음 받으신 주 예수 그리스도께서 이 땅에 오셔서 그분의 왕국을 세우는 일에 대적하여 무천년과 후천년 교리를 만들어내어 만왕의 왕 만주의 주의 오심을 대적하고 있는 것이다. 로마 교회는 여전히 마귀의 신부가 되어 모든 종교를 통합하여 적그리스도에게 바치기 위한 준비를 마친 것이다. 하나님의 교회라고 일컫는 대부분의 개신교들까지도 WCC와 연합하여 그리스도의 신부가 아닌 마귀의 신부의 수중에 들어가서 헛된 일들을 하고 있는 것이다.

       영원히 헛되지 않는 소망과 헛되지 않는 삶은 무엇인가? 사도 바울은 그리스도께서 공중에 나타나시는 날을 바라보는 고린도교회 성도들에게 증거했다: “이 썩을 몸이 썩지 아니함을 입게 되면 그때 ‘사망이 승리 속에 삼킨 바되었느니라.’고 기록된 말씀이 이루어지리라. 오 사망아, 너의 쏘는 것이 어디 있느냐? 오 음부야, 너의 승리가 어디 있느냐? 사망의 쏘는 것은 죄요, 죄의 능력은 율법이라. 그러나 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 우리에게 승리를 주시는 하나님께 감사하노니. 그러므로 나의 사랑하는 형제들아, 견고하라, 흔들리지 말라, 항상 주의 일을 넘치게 하라. 이는 너희의 수고가 주 안에서 헛되지 아니한 줄을 너희가 앎이니라.”(고전 15:55-58) 주의 일이 무엇인가? 오로지 주님을 위하여 한 일이 아니겠는가? 나 자신을 위하여 한 일은 주님의 일이 아닌 것이다. 지금까지 살아오면서 얼마나 주님의 일을 하였는지 깊이 생각해 보면서 회개하고 다짐하는 시간이 된다면 큰 유익의 시간이 될 것이다.  아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 97:1-12

Main scripture: Psalms 2:1-12

Subject: Things in vain and nothing in vain eternally

     The main scripture begin to testify saying, “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”(Ps 2:1-3)

       Who is the one that is anointed? He is the Lord Jesus Christ. The devil has been sitting at the throne as the king of the world, since Adam sinned; and he  has been against the anointed one, the Lord Jesus Christ; and has been doing his best to sweep away the people of Israel from the face of the earth. When four thousand years passed by, the anointed one was born in Bethlehem in the land of Israel. Upon hearing of the birth of Jesus from the wise men from the east, king Herod killed all the babies under two years old to kill Jesus (Matt. 2:1-18)

       Jesus Christ died for the sins of the Jew as well as the Gentiles according to the scriptures, and buried, and rose again the third day according the scriptures to give the gospel of Christ to the world. Even after Jesus lifted to the heaven after resurrection, the servants of the devil continued to persecuted the apostles of Christ putting them into jail, and killed them. Upon hearing from the apostles, they remembered the prophesy of David, and said, “Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.”(Acts 4:25,26)

After they finished to pray, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

        Human history has been filled with bloody footprints of the people of God and Christians that has been persecuted to death. The church of Rome founded as the bride of the devil made a plan to cast out the Jews from the land of Palestine that was promised by God for the Jews to kill them all as well as the Christians  after they started Roman Catholic church in AD 325. They are still continue to do together with UN. From the end of 19 century, the Roman church began to corrupt the words of God as the serpent did in the Mount Eden to keep people to be saved, and to keep Christians to hear the pure words of God. Revised version (1884) that was sent to Korea, and American Standard version(1901) were published by Catholic church that has made America fallen to the nation of Catholic church. Finally, Catholic president was elected not WASP anymore.

        How the word of God in the main passage about them?

He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his soar displeasure (Ps. 2:4,5) In other word, he will pour severe wrath in the Great Tribulation after Christ Jesus take away his bride, the church of God to heaven (Rev. 6:1-18:24)

       He also speaks,. “Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.”(Ps 2:6)

According to his plan, God will destroy the Antichrist sponsored by the devil; and he will have Jesus Christ, Lord of Lords and King of Kings sit at the throne of king in Jerusalem.

      God himself declared a decree that cannot be abolished even by himself: ” I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

“(Ps 2:7,8) The one that was born in the name of Jesus as the king of the Jew is the only begotten Son of God; and God had chosen him as the king of the earth. And God the Father will have Jesus Christ  take the earth over again. Apostle Paul testified of Jesus Christ as the creator of the earth:

“Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”(Col. 1:15-17)

        God continues to say: “Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”(Ps. 2:9)

In the Millennium of Jesus Christ, he is no more like be a lamb that was persecuted and killed. Then, the law shall go forth out of Zion; and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem (Isa. 2:3). At that time, any sinner shall be destroyed by the rod of iron. King David testified of them that shall enter into the Millennium:

“Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.”(Ps. 24:3-5)

        God gives the rulers a warning saying, “Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”(Ps. 2:10-12)

Because all the power given unto the kings and judges in the earth came form God. Jesus spoke unto Pilate of the power: “Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.”(John 19:11) Apostle Paul also testified of the power in the earth:

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.”(Rom. 13:1)

            Finally, God speaks unto all men in the earth: “Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”(Ps. 2:12)

God has given all men in the earth the conscience that could know God if they try to find him, for no one can excuse one self: Apostle Paul testified of it: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”(Rom. 1:18-20)

         The word of warning shown in the main passage has been given unto them that shall live in the Great Tribulation as well as in the Millennium beyond the age of the grace; it is not only warning, but the message for blessing for them that obey the word of God. It is the best way of wisdom to be blessed in this age is to believe on Jesus Christ that died for our sins when we are still sinners, and buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures to be born of the Spirit as the children of God. It is the way to be the member of the bride of Christ. Sooner or later, the day Christ shall come when the time is fulfilled; then it shall be too late. What kind of blessing for them that trust him shall be? It is the life eternal.

       Even nowadays, all the Heathens and the Jews and even the churches of God are doing the same vain thing. They are against the Lord Jesus Christ, the anointed one that will build his own kingdom as the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings; they are deceiving the world with the false theology such as No Millennium and post Millennium. The church of Rome being the bride of the devil has done for uniting all the religions to have Antichrist take over the world. Almost Christian denominations have united with WCC are doing the thing in vain in the hands of the bride of the devil.

       What is the hope and life that is not in vain eternally? Apostle Paul testified of it unto the saints of Corinthians that were looking for the day of Christ in the air:

“So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”(1Cor. 15:54-58)

What is the work of the Lord? It is the work done only for the Lord. How much are you have done the work of the Lord? What about figuring out ourselves deeply to examine how much have we done the work only for the Lord? Amen! Hallelujah!
