금주의 묵상: 시편 39:1-13

본문말씀: 시편 90:1-17

제목: 그리스도의 날을 바라보고 계획하면서 지혜롭게 살고 있는가?

        하나님의 사람 모세는 육안으로 보지도 못하고 듣지도 못한 천지창조로 시작하는 창세기를 비롯하여 다섯권의 책을 기록한 사람입니다. 자연인은 이 사실을 알 수도 인정할 수도 없지만 하나님의 영이 있는 사람은 알 수 있는 것입니다. 그러기에 창세기 1장1절을 믿지 못하는 사람은 성경 전체를 믿을 수 없는 것입니다.

      모세는 기도에서 하나님은 우리가 살고 있는 지구를 창조하기 전부터, 곧 영원부터 영원까지 주가 되신다고 증거하고 있습니다. 또한 세상에 태어난 모든 사람들은 세상에 태어났다가 하루살이 풀처럼 자라다가 사라지고 만다고 고백합니다. 그러나 사람들은 왜 그런지 알지 못하고 있으며 이것이 사람들이 지은 죄악으로 인한 것을 알지 못한다고 그의 기도에서 말하고 있습 니다. 기껏 칠십이나, 강건해도 팔십밖에 살지 못하면서도 그 짧은 시간이 천 년을 하루처럼 여기시는 영원하신 하나님 목전에서는 하루살이 정도밖에 안되는 것을 알지 못한다고 고백했습니다.

      그나마 짧은 시간을 살면서 단 하루도 편한 날이 없고 수고와 슬픔밖에 없는 세상을 그럭저럭 살다가 어느날 숨이 끊어지면 몸 속에 있는 혼이 어디론가 멀리 날아가게 된다고 말하고 있습니다. 영원하신 창조주 하나님께서 사람이 되셔서 그의 택한 백성들에게 그들이 하루살이 같은 삶을 살고 있음을 알려주시기 위해 말씀하셨습니다. 주님께서는 영이 죽어서 하루살이 같이 살고 있는 유대인들에게 말씀하신 것입니다 : “그러므로 너희는 무엇을 먹을까, 무엇을 마실까, 또 무엇을 입을까 하고 말하며 염려하지 말라. 이런 것들은 모두 이방인들이 구하는 것이라. 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께서는 너희에게 이런 모든 것이 필요한 줄 아시느니라. 오히려 너희는 먼저 하나님의 나라와 그분의 의를 구하라. 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더해 주시리라. 그러므로 내일을 위하여 염려허지 말라. 내일 일은 내일 엽려할 것이요, 그 날의 재앙은 그 날로 충분하니라.”(마 6:31-34)

        모세는 마침내 하나님께 간구했습니다: “그러므로 우리에게 우리의 날들을 세도록 가르치시어 우리의 마음이 지혜에 이르게 하소서. 오, 주여 돌이키소서. 언제까지니이까? 주께서는 주의 종들에게 관하여 돌이키소서. 오, 아침에 주의 자비로 우리를 만족케 하시며 평생 동안  우리로 즐거워하게 우리로 즐거워하고 기뻐하게 하소서.”(시 90:12-14)

        하나님의 사람 다윗왕도 하나님께 같은 기도를 드렸습니다: “주여, 나의 종말과 내 날들의 분량이 어떠한지 나로 알게 하시어 내가 얼마나 연약한지 나로 알게 하소서. 보소서, 주께서 냐의 날들을 손 너비만큼 주셨으므로 내 연수가 주 앞에서는 없는 것 같사오니 진실로 가장 좋은 상태에 있는 모든 사람도 다 헛될 뿐이니이다. 셀라. 진실로 사람마다 헛된 그림자같이 걸어다니며 진실로 그들이 헛되이 분주하니 재물을 쌓으나 누가 그것을 가질지 알지 못하나이다. 주여, 이제 내가 무엇을 기다리겠나이까? 나의 소망은 주께 있나이다. 나의 모든 죄악에서 나를 구하소서. 나로 어리석은 자의 질책이 되지 않게 하소서.”(시 39:4-8)

       하나님께서는 하나님의 사람들을 통하여 기도하게 하시고 아담의 자손으로 태어나서 죄악 가운데 살면서 깨닫지 못하는 사람들을 구원하기 위하여 수많은 선지자들과 사도들을 통하여 말씀하게 하셨습니다. 그분께서는 하루살이처럼 고통 가운데 잠깐 살다가 어디로 가는지도 모르며 사라지는 인생들을 위한 구원계획을 완성하시고  우리에게 기록된 하나님의 말씀을 주신 것입니다.

        이 말씀들을 자세히 읽고 공부할 때에 삶의 모든 문제들에 대한 정확한 해답을 얻을 수 있는 것입니다. 왜, 손 너비같은 이생의 삶을 주셨는지, 왜, 고난과 슬픔밖에 없는 이 세상에 태어났는지, 왜, 모두가 잠깐 후에 육신이 죽을 때 혼이 어디론가 날아가는지 등등에 대해 우리에게 자제히 말씀하고 있는 것입니다. 지금 우리는 모세가 말하는 아침에 대하여도 의의 태양이 떠오르는 그때인 줄 알고 있으며 의의 그 태양은 온 땅의 메시야이신 주 예수 그리스도이심도 알게 된 것입니다. 또한 그때가 오면 영원토록 즐거워하고 기뻐하는 영생을 누릴 것도 알고 있는 것입니다.

        예수님께서 유대인들에게 진정한 자유함에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다: “너희가 내 말에 거하면 참으로 나의 제자가 되고 진리를 알게 될지니 그 진리가 너희를 자유롭게 하리라.”(요 8:31,32) 그때에 유대인들은 그 말씀의 뜻을 깨닫지 못하고 주님께 물었습니다: “우리는 아브라함의 씨요, 아직껏 아무에게도 노예가 되지 않았는데 어떻게 ‘너희가 자유롭게 되리라.’고 말하는가?”(요 8:33) 그때에 주님께서 다시 말씀하셨습니다: “진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 죄를 짓는 자는 누구나 죄의 종이니라. 종은 집에서 영원히 거하지 못하나 아들은 영원히 거하느니라. 그러므로 아들이 너희를 자유롭게 하면 참으로 너희가 자유롭게 되리라.”(요 8:34-36)

주님께서는 자신이 바로 진리이심을 말씀하셨지만 그들은 알 수가 없었던 것입니다. 또한 그들이 주님을 믿어 모든 죄에서 용서받아야 비로소 자유롭게 된다는 말씀도 알 수 없었던 것입니다.

        이 시대의 사람들 역시 참된 자유가 무엇인지 모르고 사는 것을 봅니다. 물리적으로 어디에 갇혀있지 않으면 자신들이 자유인이라 여기면서 삽니다. 그러나 주님께서는 죄를 짓는 자는 자유롭지 못한 자이며 묶여서 살고 있는 자라고 말씀하시는 것입니다. 또한 죄에 대하여 말씀하실 때, 사람들이 자신을 믿지 않는 것이 죄라고 증거하셨습니다. 지금도 성령께서 동일한 증거를 하고 있는 것입니다(요 16:9) 오직 그분을 믿지 않은 죄를 자백하고 그분을 구세주 하나님으로 모셔들일 때에 죄로부터 진정한 자유를 누릴 수 있는 것입니다. 또한 그분을 통하여 받는 성령을 통하여 진정한 지혜를 받을 수 있는 것입니다.

        하나님의 사람 모세는 본문에서 “그러므로 우리에게 우리의 날들을 세도록 가르치시어 우리의 마음이 지헤에 이르게 하소서”라고 기도했습니다. 연수가 칠십이요 강건하면 팔십밖에 안되는 이생에서의 육신의 삶의 기간을 세는 것이 지혜라고 증거한 것입니다. 우리의 날들을 세는 것이 무엇이겟습니까? 세상 사람들은 어떤 일을 계획하게 되면 그 계획을 이루는 날을 정해놓고 D-100일, D-99일, D-98일…….D-3일, D-2 일, D-1일, 마침내 D-Day가 되면 그 계획이 이루는 것을 봅니다. 계획을 세운 후 그들은 하루 하루 해야 할 일을 정해 좋고 계획에 따라서 하루 하루 일하면서 마침내 그 계획을 이루는 것입니다.

       주님께서 어떤 불의한 청지기에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다. 그가 주인의 재산을 낭비한다는 것을 주인이 듣고  그를 불러 청지기 직을 그만 둘 것을 통보했습니다.  그때 그 청지기는 자신이 해고된 후에 땅을 일굴 수도 없고 구걸하자니 부끄러울 것을 생각한 나머지 주인에게 빚진 자들을 불러 빚을 탕감해주었는데도 그 주인은 오히려 그 청지기가 현명하게 처리하는 것을 보고 칭찬했다고 말씀하셨습니다(눅 16:1-8). 주님께서 이 불의한 청지기에 대하여 말씀하시면서 제자들에게 말씀하셨습니다: “이 세상의 자녀들이 그들 세대에 있어서는 빛의 자녀들 보다 더 현명하기 때문이라. ..불의의 재물로 친구를 사귀라. 그러면 너희가 죽을 때 그들이 너희를 영원한 거처들로 영접하리라. 지극히 작은 일에 신실한 사람은 큰 일에도 신실하며, 똑 지극히 작은 일에 부정한 사람은 큰 일에도 부정하니라. 그러므로 너희가 불의한 재물로도 신실하지 못하다면 누가 참된 재물을 너희 신용에 맡기겠느냐? 또 너희가 남의 것에 신실하지 못하다면 누가 너희에게 너희 자신의 몫을 주겠느냐?”(눅 16:8,9)

         다시 말해서 이 세상 자녀들은 그들이 죽을 때까지 편히 살기 위하여 수단과 방법을 가리지 않고 온갖 은퇴 계획들을 젊을 때부터 하는 지혜가 있다는 것입니다. 그러나 하나님의 자녀들은 육신의 생명이 끝나고 앞으로 나타날 그리스도의 날과 천년왕국과 영원세계에서 새 예루살렘에서 누릴 것들을 지혜롭게 준비하지 않는다는 것입니다. 세상의 자녀들은 은퇴를 위한 재정계획을 세우고 젊을 때부터 준비를 하는데, 하나님의 자녀들은 과연 남은 세월을 계산하면서 주님께서 나타나실 때 누릴 보상을 바라보면서 불의한 재물을 어떻게 사용할지 어떤 계획을 하며 일하고 있는지 생각해 보라는 말씀입니다. 그러므로 우리는 이에 대해 지혜롭게 생각하면서 D-Day인 그리스도의 날(휴거)을 바라보면서 하루 하루를 지혜롭게 살아야 하는 것입니다. 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 39:1-13

Main scripture: psalms 90:1-17

Subject: Are you living with wisdom looking forward the day of Christ?

        Moses is a man of God; he wrote five books of the scriptures from Genesis that begins from the creation of heaven and earth that he had never heard nor seen. Natural men cannot understand at all, but spiritual man that has the Spirit of God can see it. This is the reason why no one can believe the whole scriptures, unless he believes chapter 1, verse 1 of Genesis.

        In his prayer, Moses testified, LORD has been our dwelling place in all generation, before the mountains were brought forth, or ever he had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting, he is God. And he also confessed in his prayer, all men born in this earth live as the grass that lives only a day, and disappear. But men not understand such kind of their destiny that is because of their iniquities; not knowing their life is only seventy or eighty that is as a day before the eyes of the eternal God.

        He also testified, even a day of their life is without peace, but only labor and sorrow; and ended up with the cut offing  breath in the midst of this way and that; and their souls have to fly far. The eternal God became a man, and he spoke unto his chosen people so that they understand their life as a grass with dead spirit:

“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”(Matt. 6:31-34)

        Moses submit a petition unto God saying,

 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Return, O Lord, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.

O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.”(PS 90:12-14)

        King David also prayed unto God as Moses did:

 “Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.

Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.

Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.

And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.

Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.”(PS 39:4-8)

         God had made his people pray, and made many prophets and his apostles speak to save them that not understand their destiny of being born in sin as the children of Adam to live in sins. Finally, God had completed his plan of salvation for them that are living as a day-fly not knowing where to go after the painful life for a while; and he gave us written words of God.

         Searching the scriptures in detail, all the answers of life are given unto us clearly; why God gave us life as an handbreadth; why we were born in this world where are labor and sorrow; why our souls have to fly far after death and so on. Now we understand what is the morning mentioned by Moses when the sun of righteousness rise again; and the sun is the Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah of the whole earth. We also understand, we shall be rejoice in the eternal life forever when the day comes.

        Jesus spoke about the true freedom unto the Jews:

  “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”(John 8:31,32)

Then, the Jews asked him not understanding his word:

“We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?”(John 8:33)

Then Jesus spoke unto them again:

 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”(John 8:34-36)

Jesus meant himself as the truth, but they couldn’t understand it; they didn’t understand, they are going to be free only when they have to believe on him to receive the remission of sins.

        Even nowadays, there are so many people that understand what is the true freedom. They consider themselves as free men unless they are confined somewhere physically. But to the eyes of the Lord Jesus, sinners are confined without freedom.  And of sin, he said, because they not believe on him. Even now, the Holy Ghost is reproving of sin (John 16:9). The only way to be free from sin is to confess the sin that not believed on him, and receive him as the Lord and Savior. This as also the way to receive the wisdom through the Holy Ghost.

        Moses, the man of God prayed saying,

  “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Of wisdom, he testified of it as counting the number our days passing the days of life only as seventy or eighty. How can we number our days? How the natural men in the world are numbering their days? Once they set a plan, they begin to count days, D-100, D-99, D-98……..D-3, D-2, D-1, and they complete their project in the D- day. After they set a project, they set a daily work to do until they finish it.

        Jesus spoke unto his disciples of the parable of the unjust steward. His owner heard that he had wasted his goods; and he called him to fire him out. Then the steward said within himself, what shall I do? for my lord takes away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed. So he called every one of his lord’s debtors unto him; and he wrote off some portion of  their debts. Then, his lord commanded the unjust steward, because he had done wisely (Luke 16:1-8). Jesus spoke unto the disciples afterwards:

  “For the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light…..Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that , when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitation. 10He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?

No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

“(Luke 16:8-12)

        In other word, the children of this world are wise to set up their retirement plan from their youth even un lawfully for their comfortable life to day when their life end with death. On the other hand, the children of God are not that wise enough to prepare their eternity after their earthly life is ended for the day of Christ(Rapture), and the Millennium of Christ, and the eternity in the New Jerusalem. The children of this world make their financial plan for their retirement from their early age; Our Lord Jesus is asking us whether we are numbering our days, and how we are planning to use the mammon of unrighteousness looking forward the reward when Christ appear. Therefore we have to think about wisely daily looking for the D-day for us that is the day of Christ(Rapture). Amen Hallelujah!
