금주의 묵상: 시편 96:1-13

본문: 마태복음 2:1-18

제목: 유대인의 왕으로 태어나셔서 만왕의 왕 만주의 주로 다시 오시는 주 예수 그리스도

       사도 마태는 하나님께서 유대인의 왕으로 이 세상에 나타나신 예수님에 대하여 증거했습니다. 성령께서는 동방으로부터 온 현자들을 사용하셔서 예수라는 이름으로 베들레햄 땅에 태어나신 분이 유대인의 왕이시며 또한 그분께서 구약에 예언되신 기름부음받은 자, 즉 그리스도이심을 증거하게 하셨습니다.

      주님께서는 이 땅에 유대인의 왕으로 태어나실 주 예수 그리스도에 대하여 그분께서 오시기 천 년 전에 더윗왕의 입을 통하여 예언하게 하셨습니다:

“‘내가 나의 거룩한 산 시온 위에 내 왕을 세웠도다’ 하시리라. 내가 칙령을 선포하리라. 주께서 내게 말씀하시기를 ‘너는 내 아들이라. 오늘 내가 너를 낳았노라. 내게 구하라. 그러면 내가 너에게 이방을 네 유업으로 땅의 맨 끝을 네 소유로 주리라.. 네가 그들을 철장으로 깨뜨맇 것이며ㅡ 토기장이의 질그릇같이 산산이 부수리라.’ 하셨도다. 그러므로, 너희 왕들아, 이제 현명해 지라. 너희 재판관들아, 교훈을 받을지어다. 두려움으로 주를 섬기고 떨림으로 즐거워하라. 그 아들에게 입맞추라, 그렇지 않으면 그가 노하실 것이요, 그가 조금만 격분하셔도 너희가 그 길에서 망하리라. 그를 신뢰하는 모든 사람은 복이 있도다.”(시 2:6-12)

      그렇습니다. 하나님의 독생자이신 예수께서 이스라엘 유대 땅 베들레햄에 태어나신 것은 그곳을 하나님께서 거하시는 시온으로 만드시고 유대인의 왕으로 태어나신 분을 믿고 섬길 수 있는 특권을 유대인들에게 먼저 주신 것입니다. 이에 대하여 사도 바울은 그리스도의 복음이 첫째는 유대인에게요, 또한 헬라인(이방인)이라고 증거한 것입니다(롬 1:16)

      또한 주님께서 탄생하시기 전 700여 년 전에 하나님께서는 선지자 이사야를 통하여 이 세상에 사람으로 태어나실 하나님의 독생자이신 예수님에 대하여 또 한 번 예언하게 하셨습니다:

“오 다윗의 집아, 이제 너희는 들으라. 너희가 사람을 괴롭게 하는 것이 작은 일이기에 너희가 또 나의 하나님을 괴롭게 하려느냐? 그러므로 주께서 친히 한 표적을 너희에게 주시리라. 보라, 한 처녀가 임신하여 아들을 낳으리니 그의 이름을 임마누엘이라 하리라.”(사 7:13,14)

“이는 우리에게 한 아이가 태어났고 우리에게 한 아들이 주어졌음이니 정부가 그의 어깨 위에 있을 것이요, 그의 이름은 경이로운 분이라, 상담자라, 능하신 하나님이라, 영원하신 아버지라, 화평의 통치자라 불리리라.. 그의 정부와 화평의 증가함이 다윗의 보좌와 그의 왕국 위에 바로 세워지고, 지금부터 영원까지 공의와 정의로 그것을 굳게 세우는 데 끝이 없으리라. 만군의 주의 열성이 이것을 실행하시리라.”(사 9:6,7)

        예수께서 이 땅에 유대인의 왕이시며 유대인의 메시야, 즉 그리스도로서 유대인뿐만 아니라 이 세상 모든 사람들을 구원하시려고 베들레햄 땅에 태어나실 때에 거의 대부분 유대인들이 그분이 누구신지 알지 못할 것을 미리 아셨습니다. 말라기 선지자 이후에 400여 년 동안 하나님의 말씀이 없었던 이스라엘 사람들의 심령 속을 잘 아시고 계셨던 것입니다. 이로 인하여 하나님께서는 먼 동방 땅에 있는 이방인 현자들을 사용하셔서 태어나신 예수님에 대하여 증거하게 하셨던 것입니다.

      그들은 하나님의 은혜로 선지자의 예언에 대하여 잘 알고 있었습니다: “한 별이 야곱에게서 나올 것이며 한 홀이 이스라엘에서 일어나서, 모압의 구석구석을 쳐서 셋의 모든 자손들을 멸망시키리라.”(민 24:17) 앞으로 다시 오실 주 예수 그리스도에 대하여 정작 유대인들은 모르고 있으며 대부분 거듭난 이방인들로 구성된 성경대로 믿는 거듭난 하나님의 교회는 알고 있는 것입니다. 현자들의 증거를 들어볼 때 하나님께서 그들을 사용하셔서 태어나신 예수님에 대하여 유대인들에게 증거하게 하신 이유를 잘 알 수 있는 것입니다.

      그 당시 유대인의 왕이었던 헤롯이 불안해 하며 백성의 모든 선임 제사장들과 서기관들을 모으고 그리스도가 어디서 태어나겠느냐 물었을 때 “유대 땅 베들레햄이오니, 이는 선지자에 의하여 이렇게 기록된 바 ‘너 유대 땅 베들레햄은 유다의 통치자들 가운데서 가장 작지 아니하도다. 이는 너에게서 한 다스리는 자가 나와 내 백성 이스라엘을 통치할 것임이라.’고 하였음이라.”고 그들이 헤롯에게 말했습니다. 그때부터 헤롯은 예수님을 죽이려고 이미 마음에 정했던 것입니다. 결국은 로마 정권 아래서 권세를 받아 이스라엘을 통치하던 때에 그 어떤 다른 왕도 용납할 수 없는 상황 하에서 하나님께서는 예수님이 누구신가에 대하여 유대인이 아닌 이방인들을 통하여 증거하게 하신 것입니다.

        그 현자들이 동방으로부터 와서 베들렘햄 땅에 이르는 데 거의 이 년이 걸린 것을 알 수 있습니다. 그들이 만났던 예수님은 아기가 아닌 이미 두 살이 된 한 아이로 자라나 있었습니다. 그들이 그 집에 들어가서 모친 마리아와 함께 있는 어린 아이를 보고 엎드려 그에게 경배하고 보물함을 열어 황금과 유향과 몰약을 예물로 드렸습니다. 황금은 에수님이 바로 하나님이심을 증거한 것입니다. 몰약은 에수께서 앞으로 선지자로서 이 땅에서 일하시는 동안 몰약같은 온갖 쓰라린 고통을 받으시고 마침내 세상 죄를 제거하시기 위해 십자가에 못박혀 죽으실 그리스도이심을 증거한 것입니다. 유향은 그분께서 부활하셔서 하늘에 오르시고 다시 오실 때까지 성도들을 위하여 중보하시는 대제사장이 되실 것을 증거한 것입니다. 또한 그분이 바로 하나님이심을 증거한 황금은 앞으로 그분께서 이 땅을 통치하시기 위하여 다시 오실 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주이신 주 예수 그리스도이심을 증거한 것입니다.

        뿐만 아니라 마리아에게 나타났던 천사 가브리엘도 태어나실 예수님에 대하여 친히 증거했습니다:

“마리아야, 두려워 말라. 이는 네가 하나님의 은총을 받았음이니라. 보라, 네가 너의 태 안에 임신하여 한 아들을 낳으리니 그의 이름을 예수라 하라. 그는 위대하게 될 것이며, 가장 높으신 분의 아들이라 불릴 것이요, 또 주 하나님께서 그에게 그의 조상 다윗의 보좌를 주실 것이며 그는 야곱의 집안을 영원히 통치할 것이요 그의 왕국은 무궁하리라….성령께서 너에게 임하실 것이며, 가장 높으신 분의 능력이 너를 덮으리니, 그러므로 너에게서 탄생하실 그 거룩한 이는 하나님의 아들이라 불리리라.”(눅 1:30-33, 35)

        그 당시 로마제국 아래서 헤롯이 통치하던 때에 비밀리에 태어나신 예수님을 만난 사람은 극 소수밖에 없었습니다. 예수님께서 탄생하실 것을 알고 기다리던 안나와 시므온을 비롯해서 들에서 양을 치던 목자들과 본문에 나오는 동방의 현자들입니다. 성령께서 시므온에게 계시를 주심으로써 그가 주의 그리스도를 보기 전에는 죽음을 보지 아니하리라고 하셨으며 그에게 주신 계시대로 그는 죽기 전에 아기 예수를 두 팔로 안을 수 있었습니다. 또한 같은 시간에 성전을 떠나지 않고, 밤낮 금식과 기도로써 하나님을 섬기고 있었던 안나도 아기 예수를 만날 수 있었습니다.

        이제는 더 이상 아기도 아니고 아이도 아니시며 삼십세 청년도 아니신 예수께서 이 세상 모든 민족을 심판하시기 위하여 다시 오시기 직전에 있는 때입니다. 주님께서 육신으로 태어나셨을 때 로마가 통치했던 것처럼 지금도 여전히 로마라는 이름을 가진 교회가 이 세상을 통치하고 있으며 그 아래서 권세잡은 헤롯같은 또 다른 왕이 통치하고 있는 것입니다. 옛날 유대 땅에는 씨저와 헤롯왕 외에는 어느누구도 왕이 될 수 없었던 것처럼 지금도 여전히 바티칸에 있는 왕 외에는 어떤 사람도 이 세상을 통치하는 왕이 될 수 없는 것입니다. 그러므로 어느누구도 주 예수 그리스도께서 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주로 이 땅에 다시 오셔서 이스라엘을 비롯하여 모든 민족을 통치하는 왕국을 세우실 것을 믿고 말하는 사람을 이단으로 정죄하는 것입니다. 예수님께서 탄생하셨을 당시 제사장이나 서기관같은 모든 종교지도자들이 하나님보다도 헤롯이나 로마의 씨저를 왕으로 섬기면서 자신들의 왕은 씨저밖에 없다고 외쳤던 것처럼 지금도 이 세상 기독교들은 로마의 수장이 주장하는 뜻을 따라 그리스도의 천년왕국은 오지 않는 다고 하면서 무천년과 후천년이라는 거짓 교리를 만들어 놓은 것입니다. 마침내 로마교회와 유엔의 합작품인 WCC를 만들어 주님께서 말씀하신 것처럼 다른 사람이 자기 이름으로 오면 너희가 그를 영접하게 됨으로써 그들은 그리스도이신 주 예수가 아닌 다른 그리스도인 적그리스도를 영접하게 될 것입니다.

      그러나 지금도 옛날처럼 하나님의 말씀을 자세히 공부하고 묵상하면서 기도히고 금식하면서 주님을 섬기고 있는 소수의 성경대로 믿는 그리스도인들은 옛날 동방의 현자들이나 목자들 그리고 시므온이나 안나처럼 도적같이 나타나시는 주 예수 그리스도를 빛 가운데 기다리다가 기쁨으로 만나는 축복을 받게 될 것입니다. 또한 시므온이 그리스도를 보기 전에는 죽지 아니할 것이라는 천사의 계시를 받고 기다리다가 죽기 전에 아기 예수를 만난 것처럼 주님께서 오시기 직전에 살고 있는 거듭난 그리스도인들 역시 이러한 계시를 받은 사람들마다 에녹처럼 죽음을 맛보지 않고 그리스도의 날, 즉 휴거의 날에 주님을 공중에서 만나는 축복을 맛보게 될 것임니다. 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 96:1-13

Main scripture: Matthew 2;1-18

Subject: Jesus, Born as the king of the Jew, and coming as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords

       Apostle Matthew testified of Jesus who appeared to the world as the king of the Jew. God used the wise men from the east to testify of Jesus who was born in Bethlehem as the king of the Jew as well as the Anointed One, the Christ that was prophesied in the Old Testament.

       The LORD God had King David testify of the Lord Jesus Christ to be born as the king of the Jew thousand years before he came to the world:

     “Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”(Ps. 2:6-12)

        Yea! The LORD God must have given special right unto the Jew so that they might believe in Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, and serve him as their king. God wanted to make Jerusalem as Zion through birth f Jesus in Bethlehem. Of this, Apostle Paul testified of the gospel of Christ for the Jew first, and the Greek (Rom. 1:16).

        Seven hundred years ago before the Lord Jesus was born, prophet Isaiah testified of Jesus, the only begotten Son of God to be born as a man in the earth: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”(Isa. 9:6,7)

        The LORD God foreknew, almost of the Jew might not know Jesus to be born in Bethlehem as the king of the Jew, their Messiah that is Christ that should be the Saviour of the Jew as well as all men in the world. God already knew the inside of the heart of the Jew without the word of God, for the word of God had never been given for four hundred years since prophet Malachi prophesied. This is the reason why God used the Gentiles such wise men from the east to testify of Jesus to be born.

        They must have been familiar with the prophesy of Jesus by the grace of God: “I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.”(Num. 24:17)

        Herod, the king of the Jew was troubled upon hearing of the king of the Jew in the land of Israel, and he gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, and asked them where Christ should be born. And they testified of Christ saying, “In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.” Since then Herod decided himself to kill Jesus. At that time, king Herod ruled Israel under the authority of Roman Empire. He couldn’t recognize any other king of the Jew. This is the reason why God had the wise men, the Gentiles to testify of Jesus as Christ as well as the king of the Jew.

       It took about two years for the wise men arrived at Jerusalem from the east. When they met with Jesus, he was grown up to be two years old already, no more baby. When they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. Presenting gold, they showed their faith of Jesus as the Lord God; and with myrrh, they believed him as the prophet to be suffered bitterly all his life, and die on the cross as Christ to take away the sin of the world; and with frankincense, they testified of him as the High Priest in heaven after he is risen to heaven to intercede the saints until he come. Another special thing of him, they must have testified of him as the Lord Jesus Christ coming as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords to reign in the earth.

        Even angel Gabriel also testified of Jesus unto Mary saying,

“Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. ….. And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”(Luke 1:30-33,35)

        There were a few that saw Jesus in secret under the rule of Herod under Roman Empire. They were Anna and Simeon and shepherds and wise men and so on. The Holy Ghost gave revelation Simeon saying he should not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ; and he came by the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law. Then he took he him up to his arm, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace. according to thy word. Anna, a prophetess of great age served God with fasting and prayers night and day; she also saw Jesus and gave thanks to the Lord.

        Jesus, no more baby, no more child, no more young man of thirties at all shall come as the Lord of Judgment to judge all the nations in the earth. As Roman Empire ruled the world when Jesus was born, still another Roman Empire in the name of Roman Catholic church is reigning in the world. Under the Roman church, another king Herod is reigning in the name of Pope. As no one other than Caesar and Herod in the land of Judea, no one could be a king except the king in Vatican in Rome. This is the very reason why no one can testify of the Lord Jesus Christ coming as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords to establish his kingdom in the earth to rule all the nations. As the religious leaders such as the priests and the scribes in Jerusalem served Herod and Caesar instead of the Lord Jesus as their king insisting their only king is Caesar, almost Christian churches happened to create false doctrines such as no Millennium as well as post Millennium denying the Millennium of Christ Jesus to come. Finally, WCC(World Church Counsel) has been created gathering with Roman church and United nations together to lead people to receive another Christ called as Antichrist coming in his name as Jesus prophesied.

       But, a little flocks of Bible believers searching the scriptures and meditating them with prayer and fasting such as the wise men from the east, and the shepherds and Simeon and Anna and so on shall be blessed to see the Lord Jesus Christ coming as a thief in the light. As Simeon received the revelation from the angel not to see death until he see the Lord’s Christ, the born again Christians living just before Jesus appear in the air could be blessed to receive the same revelation as Simeon, and they also are to blessed to see the Lord Jesus as Enoch not tasting death. Amen! Hallelujah!
