금주의 묵상: 시편 42:1-11

본문: 아모스 8:11-14

제목: 마지막때에말씀의기근을보내시는하나님

        하나님께서는 자신의 선지자들을 보내시어 이스라엘 백성에게 말씀하셨지만 그 말씀들을 전하는 선지자들을 박해하고 죽이는 일들을 계속하였습니다. 하나님께서는 마침내 선지자 아모스를 동하여 더 이상 자신의 말씀들을 듣지 못하는 기근을 보내실 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다.

      하나님께서 선택하신 이스라엘 백성들에게는 하나님의 말씀은 마치 빛과 같아서 말씀이 없게 되면 암흑 가운데 헤멜 수 밖에 없는 것입니다. 다윗 왕은 이 진리를 께닫고 “주의 말씀은 내 발에 등불이요, 내 길에 빛이니이다.”(시 119:105)라고 고백했던 것입니다.

      선지자 아모스는 앞으로 때가 되면 사람들이 주의 말씀을 들으려고 “이리저리달릴것이나” 그것을 찾지 못하게 될 것이라고 예언했습니다. 선지자 다니엘도 그의 예언서 마지막 부분에 가서 동일한 예언을 했습니다:“…그 때에는 많은 사람이 “이리저리” 달릴것이요, 지식이 증가하리라.”(단 12:4)

       주의 말씀을 듣지 못하는 것에 대하여, 하나님께서는 선지자 이사야에게 완악한 이스라엘 백성들이 말씀을 들어도 깨닫지 못하게 하라고 말씀하셨습니다. 다시 말해서 말씀을 듣지 못하는 것은 말씀이 선포되어도 그들이 들을 수 없게 하라고 말씀하신 것입니다: “‘가서, 이 백성에게 말하기를 참으로 너희가 들으나 깨닫지 못할 것이요, 참으로 너희가 보나 알지 못하리라.’ 하라. 이 백성의 마음으로 살찌게 하고, 그들의 귀로 둔해지게 하며, 그들의 눈으로 감기게 하라. 그리하여 그들이 눈으로 보지 못하고, 귀로 듣지도 못하며, 마음으로 깨닫지 못하게 하라.’“(사 6:9,10)

       그 결과 이스라엘 백성들에게 깊은 영적인 잠에 취하게 하셔서 모든 환상이 그들에게 마치 봉인된 책의 말과 같이 되었고 사람들이 그것을 유식한 자에게 건네주며 말하기를 ‘청컨데이것을읽으라.’하나 그가 말하기를 ‘봉인되어있으니읽을수없노라.‘ 하며 또 그 책을 무식한 자에게 건네주며 말하기를 ‘청컨데이것을읽으라.’ 하나 그가 말하기를  ‘나는무식하다.‘ 라고 말하게 한다고  할 것이라고 예언했습니다.(사 29:10-12)

          완악한 이스라엘 백성들로 하여금 하나님의 말씀을 듣는 귀를 빼앗아가신 주님께서 사람으로 이 땅에 나타나셨을 때, 바리새인이나 서기관 같은 거듭나지 못한 종교지도자들에게는 비유로 말씀하시고 나중에 제자들에게 말씀의 뜻을 알려주셨습니다. 또한 주님께서는 선지자 이사야를 통하여 하신 말씀을 제자들에게 기억나게 하셨습니다: “그러므로 내가 그들에게 비유로 말하노니, 이는 그들이 보아도 보지 못하고 들어도 듣지 못하며 또 깨닫지도 못함이라. 또 이사야의 예언이 그들에게 이루어졌으니, 말하기를 ‘너희가 듣기는 들어도 깨닫지 못할 것이요, 또 보기는 보아도 알지 못하리라. 이 백성의 마음이 무디어져서 그들의 귀는 듣는데 둔하고 눈은 감았으니, 이는 그들이 어느 때라도 눈으로 보지 못하고 귀로는 듣지 못하며 마음으로 깨닫지 못하고 회심하지도 못하게 되어 나로 그들을 치유하지 못하게 하려 함이라.”(마 13:13-15)

        그러나 순수한 마음으로 주님을 믿고 따라가는 제자들에게는 “너희 눈은 볼 수 있고 또 너희 귀는 들을 수 있으니 복이 있도다. 진실로 너희에게 말하노니, 많은 선지자들과 의인들이 너희가 보는 것을 보기 원하였으나 보지 못하였고 너희가 듣는 것을 듣기 원하였으나 듣지 못하였느니라.”(마 13:16,17)고 말씀하셨습니다.

        뿐만 아니라, 에수 그리스도의 이름으로 이 땅에 오신 성령께서도 사도들을 통하여 하나님의 교회를 향하여 동일한 말씀을 하셨습니다. 사도 바울은 목회자 디모데에게 편지할 때에 마지막 날들에 아주 어려운 때가 올 것을 증거하면서 교회 안에서 배교가 일어날 것을 경고했습니다. 사람들이 자기를 사랑하고 돈을 사랑하며, 자긍하고 교만하며, 하나님을 모독하고 부모에게 불순종하며, 감사하지 아니하고 거룩하지 아니하며 무정하고, 화해하지 아니하며, 모함히고 절제하지 못하며, 사납고, 선한 것을 좋아하지 아니하며 배반하고 분별이 없으며, 자만하고 쾌락을 사랑하는 것이 하나님을 사랑하는 것보다 더하며 경건의 모양은 있으나 경건의 능력은 부인하는 자들이 나타날 것을 경고했습니다. 이들 가은데는 가정집에 몰래 들어가 어리석은 여인들을 사로잡아 죄들을 짊어지게 하여 여러가지 정욕으로 끌려가게 하는 자들이 나타날 것을 경고했습니다. 그러므로 마지막 날들에 이렇게 배교한 사람들은 교회에서 항상 무엇을 배우나 진리의 지식에는 결코 이를 수 없다고 증거했습니다. (딤후 3:1-7)

        하나님께서는 잠언기자를 통하여 “하나님의 모든 말씀은 순수하니, 그는 자기를 신뢰하는 자들에게 방패시니라. 너는 그분의 말씀들에 더하지 말라. 그분이 너를 책망하실까 함이며, 네가 거짓말쟁이가 될까 함이라.”(잠 30:5,6)고 말씀하셨습니다. 그러나 마지막 날들인 19세기 말로부터 20세기에 들어오면서 순수한 하나님의 말씀에서 32000군데나 넘게 성경을 변개하면서 수많은 번역본들을 만들어서 순수한 말씀들을 더럽힌 것입니다. 그러므로 사도 바울은 성령 안에서 증거했습니다: “우리는 하나님의 말씀을 변개시킴으로써 이익을 취하는 여러 사람들과 같지 않고 오직 성실함으로써 또 하나님께로부터 난 자로서 하나님 앞에서와 그리스도 앞에서 말하노라.”(고후 2:17)

          선지자  아모스는 앞으로 이스라엘 백성들을 마지막으로 연단할 대 환란 때에 아름다운 처녀들과 청년들이 갈증으로 인하여 기진할 것이라고 예언했습니다. 처녀들과 청년들은 요한계시록에 나타나는 144,000명의 동정들을 미리 보게 합니다. 대 환란 때야말로 선지자도 없고 복음전도자들도 이미 하늘로 사라진 후인지라 그야말로 하나님의 말씀을 듣지 못하는 기근의 때가 될 것입니다. 지금 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 거듭니지 못하면 마치 노아의 방주에 들어가지 못하고 때를 놓친 사람처럼 비참한 일을 겪게 되는 것입니다.

        선지자 아모스 당시에 이스라엘 백성들은 하나님의 말씀을 떠나서 우상을 섬기면서 “브엘세바의방식은살아있도다.” 라고 말하는 그들은 쓰러져서 결코 다시 일어나지 못할 것이라고 예언했습니다.  결국은 북쪽이스라엘이나 남쪽 유다나 하나같이 우상을 섬기면서도 자신들의 방식은 살아 있도다라고 억지를 부리지만 결국은 멸망할 것이라는 엄중한 하나님의 말씀인 것입니다. 이것은 오늘날 마지막 때 배교한 교회들이 하나님의 말씀을 버리고 자신들이 만들어 놓은 교단들을 섬기면서 우리의 방식은 살아 있도다. 그리고 하나님의 말씀을 떠나서 인성교육을 함으로써 하나님의 사람들이 아닌 사람의 종으로 만드는 일에 대한 경고의 말씀인 것입니다.

        지금이야말로 겸손한 마음으로 하나님의 말씀을 사모하며 말씀 안에 거한 제자의 삶을 살아야 할 때인 것입니다. 주님께서 겟세마네 동산으로 마지막 기도를 하시기 위하여 제자들과 함께 기드론 골짜기를 지나시면서 제자들에게 주신 유언의 말씀을 기억해야 할 때인 것입니다: “너희가 내 안에 거하고 내 말들이 너희 안에 거하면 너희가 원하는 것은 무엇이나 구하라. 그러면 너희에게 이루어지리라. 너희가 많은 열매를 맺는 이 일로 내 아버지께서 영화롭게 되실 것이요 너희는 내 제자들이 되리라.”(요 15:7,8) 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 42:1-11

Subject: The famine of the word of God be sent in the last days

       The LORD God sent his prophets unto the people of Israel to speak; but they continued to persecute them all unto death. Finally, God spoke unto them through Amos to send the famine of the word of God so that they couldn’t hear his words any more.  Unto the people of Israel, the words of God as light; and they are to wander in their ways without the words of God. King David understood this truth, and testified saying, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”(Ps. 119:105)

        Prophet Amos prophesied that they “they shall run to and fro”, to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. Prophet Daniel also prophesied in the end of the book of Daniel the same word, saying,  “many shall run to and fro,” and knowledge shall be increased. (Dan. 12 4)

        Of the famine of the word of God, the LORD God asked prophet Isaiah to have wicked people of Israel not to understand the word of God, even though they hear. In other word, not hear the word of God means not to understand it: “And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.”(Isa. 6:9,10)

        As the result of it, they became to be deep spiritual sleep as testified by Prophet Isaiah: “For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered. And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.”(Isa. 29:10-12)

        The LORD God took away the ear of hearing his word; and he appeared to the earth in flesh, and spoke unto the religious leaders such as Pharisees and Scribes that were not converted in parables. And later on, he explained about the meaning of the parables. And Jesus reminded his disciples of the prophecy that was spoken by prophet Isaiah saying, “Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”(Matt. 13:13-15)

        But Jesus explained about the parable unto his disciples that followed with pure heart and faith saying,

“But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.”(Matt. 13:16,17)

           Not only this, the Holy Ghost came to the earth in the name of Jesus Christ, and spoke unto the churches of God the same message through the Apostles saying,

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”(2Tim.. 3:1-7)

          God spoke through the writer of Proverbs, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”(Prov. 30:5,6)

But unfortunately, in the last days beginning from the end of 19th century and early 20th century, the pure words of God have been corrupted being changed more than 32,000 verses to making so many versions. Apostle Paul testified of this in the Spirit saying, “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.”(2Cor. 2:17)

         Prophet Amos prophesied, in the Great Tribulation that is the final trouble of Jacob to come, the fair virgins and young men shall faint for the thirst. They remind us of 144,000 virgins revealed in the book of Revelation. In the Great Tribulation, neither prophets nor preachers in this earth, for they are to be raptured to heaven; there shall be extreme famine of the word of God. Unless man be born again of the Spirit now, he shall be the one that missed the ark of Noah not being on board to be miserable forever.

        Prophet Amos prophesied against them that worship idols saying, The manner of Beer–sheba liveth even they shall fall, and never rise up again. This is the firm word of judgment of God, for they say, their manner is lives, but they shall be destroyed after all whether they are northern Israel or southern Judah. This prophecy is the warning message unto the churches in apostasy in the last days that forsake the word of God, and worship their denominations rather than word of God, saying our manner lives, for they are making people the servants of man through human education instead making them men of God.

        This is the real time for seeking the word of God in humility to abide in the word of God to be the disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have to remember the final word of the Lord Jesus Christ that was spoke unto his disciples walking through the valley  on the way up to the Gethsemane in the Mount Olive to make the final prayer saying, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”(John 15:7,8) Amen! Hallelujah!
