금주의 묵상: 시편 24:1-10

본문: 이사야 59:20-60:1-22

제목: 주 예수 그리스도께서 시온으로 오실 때 이루어질 일들

        예수께서 모든 성경이 자신에 관하여 증거하고 있다(요 5:39)고 말씀하신 대로 오늘 주신 본문 말씀 안에는 주님께서 세상에 육신으로 오시기 700여년 전에 선지자 이사야를 통하여 미리 예언하신 말씀입니다. 이 말씀 가운데 이미 성취된 말씀도 있고 조만간 우리 앞에 나타날 일들도 있는 것입니다.

        선지자 이사야는 죄악으로 인해 어두움이 가득찬 이 땽에 빛을 비추시려고 오시는 예수 그리스도에 대하여 증거했습니다. 땅이 형체가 없고 공허하며 어두움이 깊음의 표면 위에 있으며 하나님의 영은 물들의 표면에서 거니시고 있을 때, 하나님께서 ‘있으라.”고 하시니 빛이 있었더라(창 1:2,3)고 모세는 증거했습니다.

그 빛은 태양이 창조되기 전에 있었던 생명의 빛이었습니다.

        다윗왕은 이 빛에 대하여 “생명의 원천이 주와 함께 있으며 주의 빛 가운데서 우리가 빛을 볼 것임이니이다”(시 36:9)라고 증거함으로써 하나님께서 이 땅에서 창조하신 빛은 생명의 원천이신 하나님께서 주신 생명이라고 증거한 것입니다. 그는 또한 “주의 말씀은 내 발에 등불이요, 내 길에 빛이니이다.”(시 119:105)라고 증거함으로써 하나님의 말씀 안에 있는 생명이 그의 길을 비추고 있다고 증거했습니다. 구약성경에서 수많은 하나님의 사람들 역시 이 생명의 빛에 대하여 증거했습니다.

       마태는 이 땅에 생명의 빛을 비추시기 위하여 오신 예수 그리스도에 대하여 “흑암에 앉은 백성들이 큰 빛을 보았고, 또 죽음의 땅과 그늘에 앉은 자들에게 빛이 비치었도다.”(마 4:16)라고 증거했습니다. 사도 요한도 이 빛에 대하여 증거할 때에 그 빛은 태초에 말씀으로 계셨고 아버지와 함께 만물들을 창조하신 예수 그리스도 안에 있었던 생명이 사람들의 빛이라고 증거했습니다(요 1:1-4) 마침내 세상에 자신을 드러내신 예수께서 자신에 대하여 분명하게 증거하셨습니다: “나는 세상의 빛이라. 나를 따라오는 사람은 결코 어두움 속에 다니지 아니하고 생명의 빛을 얻으리라.”(요 8:12)

선지자 이사야는 수백년 후에 이 땅에 생명의 빛을 비추시기 위하여 오실 예수 그리스도께서 주 하나님 아버지의 영광을 가지고 나타나실 것을 온 세상에 선포한 것입니다.

        본문에서는 앞으로 그분께서 모든 구속사역을 이루시고 승천하셨다가 어두움 속에 있는 세상에 다시 오실 때 일어날 일들에 대하여 예언한 말씀입니다. 다시 말해서 주 예수 그리스도께서 만왕의 왕으로 만주의 주로 영광스럽게 이 땅에 재림하셔서 (계 19:11-19)그의 왕국을 세우실 때 있을 일들을 예언한 것입니다.

      그때에 이방인들과 땅의 왕들이 생명의 빛을 받으려고 그분께로 나올 것입니다. 주 예수 그리스도께서 예루살렘, 즉 시온으로 오실 때 모든 이방인들이 평화의 도성 예루살렘으로 나오게 될 것입니다. 지금까지 비록 이스라엘이 증오의 대상이 되어버렸지만 그들이 회개하고 그리스도의 왕국에 들어갈 때 그들은 모든 이방인들에게 부러움의 대상이 될 것입니다.

      선지자 이사야는 이 일에 대하여 미리 예언했습니다: “많은 백성이 가며 말하기를 ‘너희는 오라. 우리가 주의 산에, 야곱의 하나님의 전에 올라가자. 그리하면 그가 그의 길을 우리에게 가르치실 것이며, 우리는 그의 길에서 행하리니 이는 율법이 시온에서 나오며, 주의 말씀은 예루살렘으로부터 나올 것임이라.”(사 2:3)

      하나님께 독특한 백성으로 택함을 받았던 이스라엘이 수천년 동안 그들이 죄악으로 인하여 징계와 연단을 받다가 마침내 정금처럼 나오게 하실 것입니다. 마침내 그리스도께서 그들을 구원하시려고 오실 때 그들이 회개하여 남은 자들로 온 땅의 제사장 민족이 되게 하실 것입니다. 그후에 하나님께서 그들에게 다시 주실 은혜에 대하여 선지자 이사야가 본문에서 낱낱이 증거하고 있는 것입니다.

      그들보다 먼저 하늘로 휴거되었던 하나님의 교회, 즉 그리스도의 신부는 이스라엘에게 주시는 은혜를 그들과 함께 나누기 위하여 그분과 함께 시온으로 오게 될 것입니다. 그때는 하나님의 교회는 모든 이방인들을 통치하는 통치자들로서의 영광을 누리게 될 것입니다.

      주 예수 그리스도께서 시온으로 오실 때 수천년 동안 그들이 땅도 빼앗기고 유리방황하던 이스라엘의 남은 자들은 마침내 한 사람도 빠짐없이 본토로 돌아오게 될 것입니다. 선지자 아모스는 그 일에 대하여 “내가 그들을 그들의 땅에다 심으리니 그들이 다시는 내가 그들에게 주었던 그들의 땅에서 뽑히지 아니하리라. 주 너의 하나님이 말하노라.”(암 9:15)고 예언했습니다.

      지금 이순간에도 이스라엘을 에워싸고 있는 팔레스타인을 비롯한 모든 아랍민족들과 세상 모든 나라들이 이스라엘 민족을 아브라함에게 주시기로 약속하신 팔레스타인 땅으로부터 내어쫓겠다는 위협 가운데 살고 있지만 조만간 그분께서 갑자기 하늘로부터 나타나실 때에 그들은 온 땅 팔레스타인 땅을 영원히 차지할 뿐만 아니라 바다 속에 있는 풍성한 모든 자원들까지도 그들의 것이 될 것입니다.

      만왕의 왕이시며 만주의 주이신 예수 그리스도께서 시온에 오실 때 온 땅에 흩어져 있는 그의 모든 백성들은 마치 구름처럼, 비둘기들이 그들의 집으로 날아가는 것처럼 시온으로 돌아오게 되어 온 땅에 흩어져 유리방황하던 디아스포라의 삶을 더 이상 살지 않게 될 것입니다. 또한 옛날 다윗왕과 솔로몬왕 시절에 모든 이방나라들이 그들의 보화들을 에루살렘으로 가져온 것처럼 이 땅의 모든 민족들이 금은보화를 예루살렘으로 가져오게 하여 이스라엘을 영화롭게 할 것입니다.

      주 에수 그리스도께서 시온인 예루살렘에서 통치하시게 될 때 수천 년 동안 이스라엘을 박해했던 모든 타국인들, 즉 이방 민족들과 왕들은 이스라엘 민족을 섬기는 일꾼들이 될 것입니다. 지금 이 세상은 모든 길이 로마를 통해야 하지만 그때에는 예루살렘을 통해야 되는 때가 될 것입니다.

      하나님께서는 그들이 오랫동안 받아왔던 수치를 갚아주시기 위해 이스라엘을 괴롭혔던 그들의 아들들도 몸을 굽혀 이스라엘 백성에게로 나오게 하실 것이며, 그들을 멸시했던 모든 자들도 다 유대인들 발 앞에 엎드리게 하실 것입니다. 그때에 예루살렘은 더 이상 테러의 도성이 아닌 “주의 도성”, 즉 “이스라엘의 거룩하신 분의 시온”이라 불리게 될 것입니다.

        그때, 태초에 빛을 창조하신 분께서 이스라엘을 통치하시게 될 때 그분께서 영원한 빛이 되심으로써 태양과 달의 빛은 무색하게 될 것입니다. 그들은 더 이상 슬퍼하지 않게 될 것이며 그들 모두는 의롭게 되어 영원히 땅을 상속받게 될 것입니다.

        주 하나님께서는 이 땅에 빛으로 임하실 뿐만아니라 우리가 영원히 살게 될 새 예루살렘에서도 영원한 빛이 되실 것입니다. 사도 요한은 이에 대하여 증거했습니다: “내가 보니 성 안에는 성전이 없더라. 이는 전능하신 주 하나님과 그 어린양이 그곳의 성전임이라. 그 도성은 해나 달이 그 안에서 비칠 필요가 없으니, 이는 하나님의 영광이 그곳을 비추고 어린양이 그곳의 빛이 됨이라.”(계 21:22,23).

        그렇습니다! 이제 잠시잠간 후면 우리 아버지 하나님의 뜻이 하늘에서와 같이 이 땅에서도 이루어지게 될 것입니다. 선지자들을 통하여 미리 예언하게 하신 이 엄청난 하나님의계획을 알지 못하던 유대인들에게 “아버지의 왕국이 임하시오며, 아버지의 뜻이 하늘에서와 같이 땅에서도 이루어지이다.”(마 6:10)라고 기도하라고 예수께서 분부하신 것입니다.

        사도 바울은 선지자들의 예언을 통하여 하나님의 뜻을 깨닫고 에베소 교회 성도들에게 증거했습니다: “그의 기쁘심에 따라 자기 안에서 계획하신 바 그의 뜻의 신비를 우리에게 알게 하셨으니 이는 때에 찬 경륜 안에서 하늘에 있는 것들이나 땅에 있는 것들이나 자신 안에 있는 것들까지도 만물을 그리스도 안에서 하나로 함께 모으려는 것이라.”(엡 1:9,10)

      우리가 믿고 구게주로 영접한 주 예수님이 바로 그 그리스도이신 것입니다. 그분을 믿은 우리는 그분의 신부가 되어 그분께서 회복하실 하늘과 땅을 함께 다스리는 공동상속자(롬 8:17)가 된 것입니다. 주님께서는 유대인들을 향해 “너희는 세상의 빛이라.”(마 5:14)고 말씀하셨습니다. 사도 바울도 에베소교회 성도들에게 “잠자는 자여 깨어라. 그리고 죽은 자들로부터 일어나라. 그리하면 그리스도께서 네게 빛을 주시리라.”(엡 5:14)고 권면했습니다.

      그러므로 우리는 그분께서 오시기 전에 그분의 말씀 안에 있는 빛 가운데 거함으로써 예수 그리스도의 피로 씻김받아 서로 간에 교제해야 하며, (요일 1:7)또한 말씀 안에 있는 물로 씻김받아 거룩하고 깨끗하게 되어 그분 앞에 영광스러운 교회로 나타나서 점이나 주름진 것들 없이 거룩하고 흠 없이 아름다운 그분의 형상으로 변모되어야 하는 것입니다(엡 5:26,27, 빌 3:21)). 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 24:1-10

Subject: Things to happen when the Lord Jesus Christ come unto Zion

       As Jesus said that the scriptures testifies of him (John 5:39), the main passage is the prophesy spoken through prophet Isaiah 700 years before the Lord Jesus was manifested in flesh. Some of them have been fulfilled, some shall be done sooner of later before our eyes.

       Prophet Isaiah testified of the Lord Jesus Christ that shall come to shine the light unto the world full of darkness of iniquities. Moses testified, the God said, Let there be light: and there was light, when the earth was without form, and void; and the darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters (Gen. 1:2,3). The light was the light of life that was before the Sun was created.

       King David testified of this light saying, “For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.”(Ps. 36:9)

He testified of the light as life given by God that is the fountain of life. He also testified saying, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”(Ps. 119: 105) The life in the words of God was shining his way wherever he may go. Many men of God in the day of Old Testament testified of this light of life.

        Matthew also testified of Jesus Christ that came to shine the light of life saying, “The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.”(Matt. 4:16) Apostle John testified of this light as the Word in the beginning, and the light of man that was in Jesus Christ that created all things (John 1:1-4). Finally, Jesus revealed himself, and testified of himself clearly saying,  “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”(John 8:12)

Prophet Isaiah decaled that Jesus Christ shall appear to the world with the glory of the LORD to shine the light of life.

        The words in the main passage is the prophesy of the things. when the Lord Jesus Christ come back to the world after he finishes his ministry of redemption, and be lifted to heaven. In other word, of the things that shall happen when the Lord Jesus Christ come gloriously as the LORD of LORDS, and the KING of KINGS, and establish his kingdom in the earth (Rev. 19:11-19).

      Then, the Gentiles shall come to his light, and kings to the brightness of his rising. When the Lord Jesus Christ come unto Jerusalem, the Zion, all the Gentiles shall come unto Jerusalem, the city of peace. So far, Israel has been the target of hatred for thousands of years; but when they repent their sins, and enter into the kingdom of Christ, Israel shall be envied by all the Gentiles.

        Prophet Isaiah prophesied of this saying, “And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will TEACH us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”(Isa. 2:3)

        Israel was chosen as a peculiar nation, but they have to be chastened and tried because their sins; and they shall be coming out again as gold. When Christ come back to the earth to deliver them, he will make the remnant of Israel that repent the nation of priest. Prophet In the main passage, Isaiah testifies of the grace that shall be given unto them by their God.

        The church of God, the bride of Christ that had been raptured unto heaven shall come with the Lord Jesus Christ unto Zion to share the grace of God with them. Then , the church of God shall be glorified as the rulers over all the Gentiles.

       Israel has been robbed of their land and wandered scattered to the world; but when the Lord Jesus Christ come back to Zion, all of Israel shall return to Zion as prophet Amos prophesied saying, “And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God.”(Amos 9:15)

        Even in this moment, all the Arabic nations as well as all other nations including Palestine are threatening Israel to sweep them out of the land that was promised unto Abraham by God. But, when the Lord Jesus Christ shall appear all of sudden from heaven, people of Israel shall occupy the land of Palestine forever, and the abundant natural resources’ of the sea shall be converted unto them also.

       When the Lord Jesus Christ come back to Zion as the LORD of LORDS and the KING of KINGS, all the people of Israel that have been scattered all the earth shall return to Zion as a cloud and the doves to their windows. They shall be no more living as Diaspora anymore. As all the Gentiles brought forth their treasures unto Jerusalem during the dynasties of king David and king Solomon, all the nations in the earth shall bring their silver and gold unto Jerusalem to glorify Israel.

        When the Lord Jesus Christ reign in Jerusalem, Zion, all the sons of the Gentiles and their kings that have persecuted Israel shall be their servants. Now, all the ways have to be through Rome, but when time comes, all the ways shall be through Jerusalem.

          God, to pay back their shames shall make sons of them that afflicted them come bending unto Israel; and all they that despised them shall bow themselves down at the soles of their feet. Then, Jerusalem shall not be the city of terrors anymore, but shall be called the city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

        When the One that created the light in the beginning reign in Israel, he shall be eternal light to make the Sun and the Moon as nothing. They shall not grieve anymore, and all of them shall be righteous as nation to inherit the land for ever.

        The LORD God shall come as the light unto the earth; and also he shall be the eternal light in the New Jerusalem where we shall dwell for ever in heaven. Apostle John testified of this saying, “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof..”(Rev. 21:22,23)

        Yeah! Sooner or later, the will of God, our Father shall be done in earth as is in heaven. The Jews were ignorant of such a amazing will of God; but Jesus asked them to pray saying, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”(Matt. 6:10)

       Apostle Paul understood the will of God spoken through the prophesies of the prophets, and testified unto the saints of Ephesians church saying, “Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:”(Eph. 1:9,10)

       The Lord Jesus Christ that we believed on and received as the Lord and Saviour is the very Christ. We that believed on him shall be his bride, and shall be the joint-heir with him to reign in heaven and earth that shall be restored by him (Rom. 8:17). The Lord Jesus spoke unto the Jews, “Ye are the light of the world.”(Matt. 5:14). Apostle Paul encouraged the Ephesians saying, “Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”(Eph. 5:14).

       Therefore, before he come, we have to abide in the light in his words to be cleansed by his blood to have fellowship one with another (1John 1:7).; we have to be sanctified and cleansed with washing of water by the word to be presented to Christ as a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Then our body shall be changed as his glorious body(Eph. 5:26,27, Phil. 3:21). Amen! Hallelujah!.
