금주의 묵상: 시편 90:1-17

본문: 시편 98:1-9

제목: 마지막 때를 살아가는 성도들의 삶의 자세

           하나님께서는 세상의 기초를 놓으시기 전에 주 예수 그리스도를 믿어 그분 안에 있는 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어간 사람들을 하나님의 교회로 인도하시고 그분의 기쁘심을 따라 우리를 하나님의 자녀로 입양하시기로 예정하셨습니다(엡 1:4,5). 지난 이천 년 동안 하나님께서는 그리스도의 은혜의 복음을 믿는 사람들을 그리스도의 몸의 지체들로 만드셨습니다. 또한 만물을 주 예수 그리스도의 발 아래 두시고 그를 만물 위에 머리가 되게 하셔서 교회에게 주셨습니다. 이를 통하여 하나님께서는 교회 안에 만물 안에서 모든 것을 채우시는 분의 충만함이 있게 하셨습니다(엡 1:22,23).

             하나님께서는 하나님의 교회뿐만 아니라 범죄한 유대인들과 이방인들을 위한 구원계획도 세우시고 앞으로 남은 칠 년 대 환란 기간을 통하여 마지막으로 주신 기간 동안에 회개하는 유대인들과 이방인들까지 구원하셔서 주 예수 그리스도의 왕국에 들어가게 하는 구원계획을 세워놓으신 것입니다. 이에 대하여 성령께서는 시편 기자를 통하여 예언하게 하셨습니다:

“주께서 그의 구원을 알리셨고 그의 의를 이방의 목전에 드러나게 하셨도다. 그가 이스라엘 집을 향해 그의 자비와 진리를 기억하셨으니 땅의 모든 끝이 우리 하나님의 구원을 보았도다. 온 땅아, 주께 즐거운 소리를 내어라. 큰 소리를 내며 기뻐하고 찬송하라. 하프로 주께 노래하라. 하프로 또 시를 말하며 노래하라. 나팔들과 뿔나팔 소리로 왕이신 주 앞에 즐거운 소리를 내어라. 바다와 거기 충만한 것은 외치며 세상과 그 안에 거하는 것들도 외칠지어다. 큰 물들은 손뼉을 치며 산들은 함께 즐거워할지어다. 주 앞에서 할지라. 이는 그가 땅을 심판하러 오시기 때문이라. 그가 세상을 의로, 그 백성을 공편으로 심판하시리로다.”(시 98:2-9)

           그렇습니다! 조만간 때가 차게 될 때에 하나님께서는 하나님의 교회와 회개하는 유대인들과 이방인들에게 구원을 베푸시고 그들로 하여금 하늘들과 온 땅에 충만하게 하실 것입니다. 모든 성경말씀들은 하나님께서 원수 마귀로부터 승리를 쟁취하시고 이처럼 놀라운 일들을 행하실 것에 대해 증거하고 있습니다. 성령 안에서 이 놀라운 일들을 보고 알게 된 사도 바울은 에베소 교회 성도들이 깨닫기를 기도했습니다:

이 때문에 나 역시, 주 예수를 믿는 너희의 믿음과 모든 성도를 향한 사랑을 들었으니 너희로 인하여 감사드리기를 그치지 아니하고 나의 기도에 너희를 말하노라. 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님, 영광의 아버지께서 자기를 아는 지식 안에서 지혜와 계시의 영을 너희에게 주시어 너희의 지성의 눈을 밝히셔서 너희로 하여금 그의 부르심의 소망이 무엇이며 성도들 안에 있는 그의 유업의 영광의 풍성함이 무엇인지 또 그의 강력한 능력의 역사하심을 따라 믿는 우리에게 향하신 그의 능력의 지극히 위대하심이 어떤 것인가를 너희로 알게 하시기를 원하노라. 하나님께서 그 능력을 그리스도 안에서 역사하게 하사 그를 죽은 자들로부터 살리셨으며 천상에서 하나님의 오른편에 앉히사 모든 정사와 권세와 능력과 다스림과 이 세상뿐만 아니라오는 세상에서도 이름지어진 모든 이름 위에 뛰어나게 하셨으며 또 만물을 그의 발 아래 두시고 그를 만물 위에 머리가 되개 하셔서 교회에게 주셨느니라. 교회는 그의 몸이니 만물 안에 모든 것들을 채우시는 분의 충만이니라.”(엡 1:15-23)

           하나님께서는 사도 바울을 택하셔서 그에게 하나님의 교회에게 주신 축복과 앞으로 회개하는 이스라엘 백성들, 그리고 이방인들이 받을 축복에 대한 계시들을 주셨습니다. 이로 인하여 하나님께서는 그를 통하여 하나님의 교회들과 히브리인들에게 편지하게 하셨던 것입니다. 또한 사도 바울은 하나님의 계시들을 전함으로 인해 유대인들로부터 수많은 박해와 환난을 받음으로 인해서 낙심하게 될 성도들에게 다시 한 번 무릎을 꿇고 기도한다고 증거했습니다:

“그러므로 너희가 너희로 인한 나의 환난 때문에 낙심하지 않기를 내가 바라노라. 그것은 너희 영광이니라. 이로 이로 인하여 내가 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께 무릎을 꿇고 비노니 그분께로부터 하늘이나 땅에 있는 모든 가족이 이름을 부여받았느니라. 하나님께서 그의 영광의 풍요함을 따라 그의 성령을 통하여 너희 속 사람 안에서 능력으로 너희를 강건하게 하시고 믿음으로 너희가 사랑 안에서 뿌리를 내리고 터를 닦아 모든 성도들과 함께 그 너비와 길이와 깊이와 높이가 얼마인가를 깨달을 수 있게 해 주시며 또 지식을 초월한 그리스도의 사랑을 알아 너희가 하나님의 모든 충만으로 가득 차기를 구하노라. 이제 우리 안에서 역사하시는 능력을 따라 우리가 구하는 것이나 생각하는 모든 것보다 훨씬 풍성허게 행하실 수 있는 그분께 그리스도 예수를 통하여 교회 안에서 그분께 영광이 모든 시대들, 곧 끝없는 세상에 걸쳐 있을지어다. 아멘”(엡 3:13-21)

             사도 바울은 교회 안에 있는 성도들이 영적인 눈을 뜨고 영적인 귀가 열려서 하나님의 말씀 안에서 앞으로 하나님의 영광이 나타나게 되는 때에 있을 광경을 미리 볼 수 있기를 기도했으며 또한 앞으로 그들이 가게 될 하늘들에 있는 것들과 하나님의 보좌에 있는 영광을 영안이 열려서 볼 수 있기를 기도했던 것입니다. 그러므로 그들이 바라는 것들이 믿음을 통하여 실상이 됨으로써 썩어질 세상을 바라보지 않고 영원한 하나님의 나라를 기다리며 달려가기를 원했던 것입니다.

             그는 빌립보 교회 성도들에게 편지할 때에도 부활의 날, 즉 그리스도께서 나타나실 때를 바라보라는 같은 메시지를 보냈습니다:

“그러나 나에게 유익하던 것은 무잇이나 그리스도를 위하여 다 손실로 여겼느니라. 실로 모든 것을 손실로 여김은 그리스도 나의 주를 아는 지식이 가장 고상하기 때문이며 내가 그를 위하여 모든 것을 잃어버리고 그것들을 오히려 배설물로 여김은 그리스도를 얻기 위함이요, 또 그 안에서 발견되고자 함이니 나의 의는 율법에서 나온 것이 아니요, 그리스도를 믿음으로 말미암아 나온 것이니 곧 믿음에 의해서 나온 의라. 이는 내가 그를 알고 그의 부활의 능력과 그의 고난의 교제를 알아 그의 죽음의 본을 따르려 함이며 어떻게 해서든지 죽은 자들의 부활에 이르려는 것이라. 내가 이미 이르렀다 함도 아니요, 이미 온전해졌다 함도 아니라, 다만 나는 붙잡으려고 좇아갈 뿐이라. 나 역시 그것을 위하여 그리스도 예수께 붙잡혀 있노라. 형제들아, 나는 내가 붙잡은 것으로 여기지 아니하노라. 다만 한 가지 일, 즉 뒤에 있는 것은 잊어버리고 앞에 있는 것들에 손을 뻗쳐 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 고귀한 부르심의 상을 위하여 그 푯대를 향해 좇아갈 뿐이라.”(빌 3:7-14)

             사도 바울이 지나왔던 삶은 그야말로 그리스도를 위하여 모든 약함과 모욕과 궁핍과 박해와 곤경으로 기득찬 삶이었습니다. 그러나 그는 고난들에 대하여 그리스도를 위하여 기뻐한다고 고백했습니다(고후 12:10). 그는 그가 지나온 삶을 회고할 때에 후회나 아픈 기억이 없는 삶이었습니다. 또한 그가 지나온 삶은 비록 고난의 길이었지만 그리스도의 부활의 능력과 그리스도의 고난에 동참함으로써 그리스도와 함께 교제하는 삶이었던 것입니다. 우리의 지나간 삶은 어떠했는지 묵상해 보는 시간이 되기를 바랍니다. 우리의 삶이 그리스도를 위한 삶이었든지 아니든지 상관 없이 이미 지나간 시간은 영원히 돌아올 수 없는 시간인 것입니다. 마치 강물을 따라 내려가면 거슬러 올라갈 수 없는 것처럼 우리의 지나간 삶도 돌아올 수 없는 강인 것입니다. 그러나 중요한 것은 지금이라도 우리가 우리 앞에 있는 소망이 무엇인지 깨닫고 그것들을 붙잡아야 하는 것입니다. 세상 사람들처럼 후회만 하는 삶이 되어서는 안될 것입니다.

             사도 요한은 영적으로 어린 성도들을 향하여 권면했습니다:

“세상도, 세상에 있는 것들도 사랑하지 말라. 누구든지 세상을 사랑하면 아버지를 사랑함이 그 안에 있지 아니하니 이는 세상에 있는 모든 것이 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 생의 자랑이요, 어비자께 속한 것이 아니라 세상에 속한 것이기 때문이라. 세상도, 세상의 정욕도 사라지지만 하나님의 뜻을 행하는 자는 영원히 거하느니라.”(요일 2:15-17)

             사도 야고보는 마지막 때를 살고 있는 이스라엘의 열두 지파에게 편지할 때 유대인들과 그리스도인들을 향하여 엄중한 메시지를 보냈습니다:

“너희 중에 싸움과 다툼이 어디로부터 오느냐? 너희 지체들 속에서 싸우고 있는 정욕들로부터 오는 것이 아니냐? 너희가 갈망하여도 얻지 못하고, 너희가 살인하고 갖고자 열망하여도 얻을 수 없으며, 너희가 다투고 싸워도 얻지 못하니 이는 너희가 구하지 않기 때문이라. 구하여도 받지 못함은 너희 정욕에다 쓰려고 잘못 구하기 때문이라. 너희 간음하는 남자들과 간음하는 여자들아, 세상과 친구가 되는 것이하나님과 원수되는 것임을 알지 못하느냐? 그러므로 누구든지 세상과 친구가 되고자 하는 자는 하나님의 원수가 되느니라. 너희는 성경이 ‘우리 안에 거하는 영이 시기할만큼 갈망한다.’라고 말씀하는 것이 헛되다고 생각하느냐?”(약 4:1-5)

           그렇습니다! 옛날 이스라엘과 유다가 바벨론과 앗시리아와 이집트 같은 나라들과 영적으로 음행하였을 때 그들에게 이혼증서를 주셔서 이혼하셨다고 성경은 말씀하고 있습니다(렘 3:8). 지금 우리가 살고 있는 현 세상은 여전히 마귀가 통치하고 있다는 것을 알아야 합니다. 비록 그가 주 예수 그리스도의 죽으심과 부활을 통하여 이미 심판을 받고 있는 상태지만 주님께서 오실 때 주님께서 그를 제거하실 때까지 마귀가 세상 통치자 노릇을 하면서 우는 사자처럼 울부짖으며 삼킬 자를 찾고 있다고 사도 베드로가 증거했습니다. 사도 바울은 이 세상에 살고 있는 하나님의 자녀들이 조심할 것에 대하여 증거했습니다:

“믿지 않는 자들과 멍에를 같이 메지 말라. 의가 불의와 어찌 관계를 맺으며 빛이 어두움과 어찌 사귀겠느냐? 그리스도가 벨리알과 어찌 조화를 이루며 또한 믿는 자가 믿지 않는 자와 어떤 부분을 같이 하겠느냐? 하나님의 성전과 우상들이 어찌 일치되갰느냐? 이는 너희가 살아계신 하나님의 성전임이라. 하나님께서도 말씀하시기를 ‘내가 그들 가운데서 살 것이며 그들 가운데서 다닐 것이며 나는 그들의 하나님이 되고 그들은 나의 백성이 되리라. 그러므로 주가 말하노라. 너희는 그들에게서 나와 따로 있고 더러운 것을 만지지 말라. 그리하면 내가 너희를 영접할 것이며 또 나는 너희에게 아버지가 되고 너희는 내 아들들과 딸들이 되리라. 전능하신 주가 말하노라.’고 하셨느니라.”(고후 6:15-18)

           그렇습니다! 우리는 우리 안에 있는 하나님의 나라(왕국), 즉 먹고 마시는 육신적인 것이 아니라 성령 안에서 의와 화평과 기쁨의 나라가, 때가 되어 이 세상에 심판이 이루어지고 의만 거하는 새 하늘들과 새 땅과 새 예루살렘이 우리 앞에 펼쳐질 때까지 주님 안에서 우리에게 주시는 소망의 말씀 안에 뿌리를 내리고 살아야 합니다. 또한 달려갈 길을 다 달릴 때까지 믿음을 지키면서 주 예수 그리스도의 오심을 앙망하는 삶을 살아야 하는 것입니다. 이 믿음이 온 세상을 이기는 능력이 되며 이 믿음 안에서 우리의 약함이 그리스도의 능력을 힘입어 강함이 되어 모든 일을 할 수 있는 것입니다. 모두가 지나간 시긴들이 후회할 것이 없는 시간이 되었기를 바라며 앞으로 남은 시간을 그리스도를 죽은 자들로부터 살리신 부활의 능력을 가지고 고난 속에서 고난 받으신 주님과 또한 수많은 신실한 그리스도인과 영적인 교제를 누리면서 기쁨의 삶을 사는 축복이 있기를 바라는 것입니다. 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 90:1-17

Main scripture: Psalms 98:1-9

Subject: The life of the saints passing through end time

             Before the foundation of the world, the LORD God has planned to adopt them as his children that enter the kingdom of God through believing in the Lord Jesus Christ; and lead them to the church of God according to the good pleasure of his will(Eph. 1:4,5). For last two thousand years, God has made them that have believed the gospel of Christ to be the members of the body of Christ. And God has put all things under the feet of Christ, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all in all(Eph. 1:22,23).

               God planned to save not only the church of God, but also the Jews that have sinned against God, and the Gentiles. In the Great Tribulation to come, God will save the Jews and the Gentiles that repent to lead them to the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Ghost made the psalmist prophesy of this:

“The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen

He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.

With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together

Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.”(Ps. 98:2-9)

                 Yeah! Sooner or later, when the time is fulfilled, God will give salvation for the church of God, and the Jews and the Gentiles when they repent, and make them be full in heaven and earth. All the scriptures testify of the victory over the Devil, and of such a wondrous works for him in heaven and earth. Seeing and knowing such wondrous works of God in the Holy Ghost, Apostle Paul prayed for the saints of Ephesians to understand his works to be done:

“Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”(Eph. 1:15-23)

             God chose Apostle Paul to give him the revelations of the blessing for the church of God as well as for the Jews and the Gentiles. And God had Apostle Paul send the epistles to the churches of God and the Hebrews to testify of theses blessings for them. Apostle Paul worried about the saints to be discouraged seeing him persecuted and troubled by the Jews, because he preached the revelation of God. And he said to them, for this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ saying,

“Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”(Eph. 3:13-21)

               Apostle Paul prayed for the saints in the church to be opened their spiritual eyes and ears so that they may be able to see the glory of God, and to see the things in the glorious throne of God in heavens where they are going in the future. He wanted what they hope for to be substance through their faith so that they may not look forward the corruptible world, but the eternal kingdom of God waiting for and running for it.

                He sent the same message unto the saints of Philippians for them look forward the day of resurrection, that is the day of rapture:

“But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”(Phil. 3:7-14)

               The life of Apostle Paul was full of all infirmities and reproaches and necessities and persecutions and distresses. After all, he confessed by faith saying, he took pleasure for all theses weaknesses fir the sake of Christ (2Cor. 12:10). He was never be troubled with his life of sufferings. His life was in the fellowship with the power of resurrection as well as passion of Christ participating in his sufferings. What about meditating our life that we have passes through this time? The times that passed by shall not come back before us anymore, whether it was for the sake of Christ of not. The time of past is the rive of no return, as if stream of river cannot flow backward at all. But what is important for us is for us to understand the hope before us, and hold it. Our life is not supposed to be repented as the worldly people.

                Apostle John encouraged unto the spiritually little children:

 “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”(1John 2:15-17)

               Apostle James sent a burdensome message unto the twelve tribes of Israel as well as Christians living in the end time:

“From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?

Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?”(James 4:1-5)

                Yeah! The LORD God gave a bill of divorce unto Israel and Judah to be divorced of them that committed adultery with Babylon and Assyria and Egypt(Jer. 3:8). The present world still has been reign by the Devil until Jesus Christ come to put him into the bottomless pit. Even though he was judged unto death through the death of Christ and his resurrection, he is still roaring as a lion to devour the children of God until his judgment is to be executed to be cast into the lake of fire. Apostle Paul testified of the thing that should be careful for the children of God:

“And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”(2Cor. 6:15-18)

               Yeah! We have to make our life rooted into the words of God until the world to be judged, and the New heaven and the new earth and the New Jerusalem before living in the kingdom of God within us that is nothing to do with meat and drink in righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Until we finish the race, we have to keep the faith waiting for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then our faith shall overcome the whole world, and we can do all things through the power of Christ even in our weakness. All of us are not supposed to feel sorry for the time passed by, but to have joyful life in the midst of spiritual fellowship with the Lord Jesus as well as faithful Christians in the power of resurrection of Christ even in tribulations. Amen! Hallelujah!
