금주의 묵상: 시편 104:1-35

본문: 시편 8:1-9

제목: 하나님의 눈에 사람은 과연 어떤 존재인가?

         에덴 동산에 있던 첫 사람 아담이 범죄하였을 때 하나님께서는 사람을 다시 창조하시기 위하여 아내와 함께 그를 죽이지 않았습니다. 다만 그에게 이브를 유혹하여 죄를 짓게 한 뱀을 저주하셨습니다. 그리고나서 아담과 이브에게 가죽옷들을 지어 입히시고 에덴 동산으로부터 몰아내셨습니다.

          옛 뱀 마귀가 첫 사람들을 유혹하여 죄를 짓게 하자마자 하나님께서는 아담에게 금지된 열매를 먹은 이유를 물으시고, 이브에게도 물으신 후에 뱀에게로 달려가셔서 마치 기다리셨다는 듯이 “네가 이것을 행하였으니, 너는 모든 가축과 들의 모든 짐승보다 저주를 받아 네 배로 다닐 것이며 네 평생토록 흙을 먹을지니라. 내가 너와 여자 사이에, 또 네 씨와 그녀의 씨 사이에 적의를 두리니, 그녀의 씨는 너의 머리를 부술 것이요, 너는 그의 발꿈치를 부술 것이라.”(창 3:14,15)

        하나님의 말씀으로 미루어 볼 때 하나님의 관심은 마귀를 멸하시는 것임을 알 수 있는 것입니다. 그렇지 않으셨다면, 하나님께서는 범죄한 아담과 이브를 당장 죽여 지옥에 보내시고 다시 사람을 만드셨을 것입니다.

하나님께서는 선지자 이사야를 통하여 분명하게 말씀하셨습니다.

“하늘들을 창조하신 주가 이같이 말하노라. 하나님은 스스로 땅을 조성하고 만들었으며, 그는 그것을 견고히 세우되 헛되이 창조하지 아니하셨으니 사람이 거주하도록 조성하였느니라. 나는 주라, 아무도 다른 이가 없느니라.”(사 45:18)

          하나님께서는 하늘들과 땅을 헛되이 창조하시지 않으셨듯이 자신의 형상대로 창조하신 사람이야말로 더더욱 헛되이 만드시지 않으신 것입니다. 하나님께서는 이 땅에 내려와서 첫 사람을 유혹하여 범죄케 한 마귀에 대하여 선지자 이사야를 통하여 말씀하셨습니다:

“오 아침의 아들 루시퍼야, 네가 어찌 하늘에서 떨어졌느냐! 네가 민족들을 연약하게 하였던 네가 어찌 땅으로 끊어져 내렸느냐? 이는 네가 네 마음 속에 말하기를 ‘내가 하늘에 올라가서 내가 내 보좌를 하나님의 별들보다 높일 것이요, 내가 또한 북편에 있는 회중의 산 위에 읹으리라. 내가 구름들의 높은 곳들 위로 올라가, 내가 지극하 높으신 분같이 되리라.’하였음이라. 그러나 너는 지옥까지 끌어내려질 것이요, 구렁의 사면까지 끌어내려지리라.”(사 14: 12-15)

        또한 선지자 에스겔을 통하여 그 마귀 루시퍼가 하늘에서 어떤 존재였는지에 대하여 증거하면서 그가 심판을 받는 이유에 대하여 증거했습니다:

“네가 하나님의 동산 에덴에 있어 모든 귀한 돌인 홍보석과 황옥과 금강석과 녹보석과 얼루마노와 벽옥과 사파이어와 에메랄드와 홍옥과 금으로 덮여 있었고 네 북들과 관악기들이 만들어짐이 네가 창조되던 날에 네 앞에 예비되었도다. 너는 기름부음을 받은 덮는 그룹이라. 내가 너를 그렇게 세웠더니 네가 하나님의 거룩한 산 위에 있었고 네가 불의 돌들 가운데를 위아래로 걸었도다. 네가 창조되던 날로부터 죄악이 네게서 발견되기까지 너는 네 길에 완벽하였도다. 네 상품이 풍부함으로 그들이 폭력으로 네 가운데를 채워서 네가 죄를 지었느니라. 그러므로 내가 너를 더럽게 여겨 하나님의 산에서 쫓아내리라. 오 덮는 그룹아, 내가 불의 돌들 가운데로부터 너를 멸하리라. 네 마음이 너의 아름다움으로 인하여 높아졌고 너는 네 지혜를 네 찬란함으로 인하여 변질시켰도다. 내가 너를 땅에다 던질 것이며 내가 너를 왕들 앞에 두어 그들로 너를 보게 하리라. 너는 네 죄악이 많음으로 인하여, 즉 네 거래의 죄악으로 인하여 네 성소를 더럽혔느니라. 그러므로 내가 네 가운데로부터 불을 일으키리니 그 불이 너를 삼킬 것이요, 내가 너를 보는 모든 자들의 목전에서 너를 땅 위에 재가 되게 하리라. 백성 가운데서, 너를 아는 모든 자들이 너를 보고 놀랄 것이며 너는 몰락하여 결코 더 이상 존재하지 못하리라.”(겔 28:13-19)

        하늘에서 죄를 지은 마귀에 대하여 같은 증거를 했으며 이 땅에서 하실 하나님의 목적에 대하여 분명하게 증거했습니다:

“죄를 짓는 자는 마귀에게 속하나니 이는 마귀가 처음으로 죄를 짓기 때문이라. 이 목적으로 하나님의 아들이 나타나셨으니, 곧 마귀의 일들을 멸하시려는 것이라.”(요일 3:8)

       사도 바울도 같은 성령 안에서 동일한 증거를 했습니다:

“자녀들이 피와 살에 참여하는 자인 것같이 그 역시 같은 모양으로 동일한 것에 참여하신 것은 자신의 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 가진자, 곧 마귀를 멸망시키시며 또 죽음을 두려워하므로 평생을 노예로 속박되어 있는 자들을 놓아주시려 함이니라.”(히 2:14,15)

       그렇습니다. 하나님께서는 자신이 땅으로 쫓아낸 마귀가 뱀의 형상으로 하나님께서 만드신 에덴 동산을 방문할 것을 미리 아셨던 것입니다. 또한 그가 살려주는 영이 아닌 살아있는 혼으로 창조된 아담과 이브를 찾아가서 유혹할 것을 미리 아셨던 것입니다. 그분은 전지하신 하나님이시기 때문입니다. 그러기에 그가 첫 사람을 유혹하여 범죄하자마자 공의의 하나님께서 아담과 이브에게도 범죄에 해당하는 징계를 하셨지만 기다리셨다는 듯이 마귀를 찾아가셔서 :네가 이것을 행하였으니…”라고 선전포고를 하신 것입니다.

          그후에 천 년이 지났을 때 수많은 사람들이 지상에 번성하게 되었습니다. 그 당시 인구가 얼마였는지는 알 수 없지만 천 년 동안 사람들이 구백 살을 넘을 때까지 자녀들을 낳았던 것으로 미루어 볼 때 이 지구를 덮을 정도로 많았을 것입니다. 마치 21세기의 인구 수와 버금가는 수였을지도 모르는 것입니다. 그러나 아담으로부터 물려받은 죄로 인하여 사람의 사악함이 세상에 창대해짐과 그 마음의 생각의 상상이 계속해서 악할 뿐임을 보시고 주께서 땅 위에 사람을 지으셨음을 후회하심으로써 그 일이 그의 마음을 비통케 하였습니다. 결국은 노아와 그의 가족들 외에 모든 지상에 있던 사람들을 홍수로 심판하여 멸하실 수밖에 없으셨지만 사람을 헛되이 창조하지 않으셨기에 노아의 세 아들을 통하여 지난 오천 년 동안 또 다시 사람들로 하여금 번성케 하시어 오늘날 70 억이라는 인구가 자상에 살게 하셨습니다.

        그러나 오늘날 역시 노아 때와 같이 사람들의 마음의 생각과 상상이 악한 때가 된 것입니다. 오천 년 동안 온 세상에 하나님의 심판을 보지 못한 까닭에 많은 사람들은 하나님께서 죽으셨다고까지 생각하게 된 시대가 된 것입니다. 솔로몬 왕은 이에 대하여 미리 예언적인 증거를 했습니다: “악한 일에 대한 징벌이 속히 집행되지 않으므로 사람들의 아들들의 마음이 그들 안에서 악을 행하기로 완전히 정해졌도다.”(전 8:11)

        이 땅에 사람들을 헛되이 창조하지 않으셨던 하나님께서는 마침내 하나님의 여인으로 택하신 이스라엘 자손으로 사람이 되어 나타나셨습니다. 자기 백성을 그들의 죄에서 구원할 것이라는 뜻인 “예수”라는 이름으로 다윗의 자손인 요셉의 가문에서 마리아의 태를 빌리셔서 성령으로 잉태되셨습니다. 사도 바울은 “이와 같이 기록되었으니 ‘첫 사람 아담은 살아 있는 혼이 되었느니라. ‘함과 같이 마지막 아담은 살려주는 영이 되었느니라.”(고전 15:45) 고 증거했습니다.

        또한 그는 로마에 있는 성도들에게 편지할 때에도 첫 사람 아담과 마지막 아담이신 예수 그리스도에 관하여 증거했습니다: “이런 연유로 한 사람에 의하여 죄가 세상으로 들어오고 그 죄에 의하여 사망이 왔으니 그리하여 모든 사람이 죄를 지었으므로사망이 모든 사람에게 전달되었느니라. 율법이 있기 전에도 죄가 세상에 있었으나 율법이 없을 때에는 죄를 죄로 여기지 아니하였느니라. 그러나 아담으로부터 모세까지 아담의 범죄와 같은 죄를 짓지 아니한 자들 위에도 사망이 군림하였으니 아담은 오실 분의 모형이라. 그 범죄와는 다르지만 그 값었는 선물도 그러하도다. 만일 한 사람의 범죄로 인하여 많은 사람이 죽었다면 더욱더 하나님의 은혜와 한 사람 예수 그리스도로 인하여 은혜로 말미암은 선물이 많은 사람에게 풍성하였느니라. 또 그것이 범죄한 한 사람으로 인한 것과는 다르지만 그 선물도 그러하도다. 이는 심판은 한 사람으로 말미암아 정죄에 이르렀지만 값없는 선물은 많은 범죄로 인해 의롭다 하심에 이르기 때문이라. 한 사람의 범죄로 말미암아 사망이 그 한 사람으로 인하여 군림하였다면 더욱더 은혜의 풍성함과 의의 선물을 넘치도록 받는 사람들이 한 사람 예수 그리스도로 인하여 생명 안에서 군림할 것이니라. 그러므로 한 사람의 범죄로 말미암아 심판이 모든 사람에게 임하여 정죄에 이른 것같이 한 사람의 의로 말미암아 값없는 선물이 모든 사람에게 임하여 생명의 의롭다 하심에 이르렀느니라. 한 사람의 불순종으로 인하여 많은 사람이 죄인이 된 것같이 한 사람의 순종으로 인하여 많은 사람이 의인이 되리라.”(롬 5:12-19)

         그렇습니다! 하나님께서는 이 땅에 자신의 형상으로 만드신 사람들을 죽이시는 것이 목적이 아니라 오히려 죄와 사망과 저주를 이 땅에 가져온 옛 뱀이며 사탄이고 마귀인 큰 용을 심판하시고 그로 인하여 하늘들과 땅에 퍼져있는 죄들을 제거하시며 의가 거하는 새 하늘들과 새 땅과 새 예루살렘을 만드시는 것입니다. 사도 바울은 하나님께서 이 지구를 창조하신 목적에 대하여 증거했습니다:

“하나님께서는 세상의 기초를 놓으시기 이전에 우리로 사랑 안에서 그분 앞에 거룩하고 흠 없게 하시려고 그리스도 안에서 우리를 택하시어 하나님의 기쁘신 뜻에 따라 예수 그리스도를 통하여 우리를 자신의 자녀로 입양할 것을 예정하셨으니 이는 하나님께서 그 사랑하시는 이 안에서우리를 받아들이신 그의 은혜의 영광을 찬양하게 하려 하심이니라. 그 살아하시는 이 안에서 우리가 그의 은혜의 풍성함을 따라 그의 보혈을 통하여 구속, 곧 죄들의 용서함을 받았느니라.”(엡 1:4-7)

       그렇습니다! 하나님께서 이 세상에 사람을 창조하신 목적은 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 모든 사람이 구원을 받고 진리의 지식에 이르게 하려 하심이라고 사도 바울은 디모데에 중거했습니다(딤전 2:4). 다시 말해서 예수 그리스도께서 세상 죄를 제거하시기 위하여 십자가에서 죽으시고 성경대로 셋째 날에 부활하신 이후 성령이 오신 이래로 이 세상에 태어난 모든 사람은 주 에수 그리스도이 복음을 믿어 그의 보혈을 통하여 모든 죄들이 용서되어 하나님의 의를 받아 하나님의 자녀가 되는 축복을 주시기 원하시는 것입니다. 이 세상에 태어난 것 자체가 축복의 기회가 되는 것입니다. 어떤 환경 가운데 태어날지라도 상관이 없는 것입니다. 주님께서는 가난한 자에게 복음을 전하게 하시려고 아버지께서 자신에게 기름을 부으셨다고 말씀하셨습니다(눅 4:18)

        사도 바울은 고린도교회에 있는 구원받은 성도들에게 편지할 때에, “형제들아, 너희는 너희의 부르심을 보라. 부르심을 받은 자들은 육신을 따라 지혜로운 자가 많지 않고 권력 있는 자도많지 않으며 좋은 가문에서 태어난 자도많지 아니하니라.” (고전 1:26)고 증거했습니다.

다시 말해서 주님의 말씀대로 가난한 자들이 그리스도의 은혜의 복음을 믿고 그분을 영접함으로써 생명을 얻는 축복을 받게 되었다는 것입니다.

        자! 이제 본문 말씀으로 돌아가서, 그 당시 다윗왕은 주의 손가락으로 하늘들과 달과 별들을 지으신 하나님을 생각해 볼 때 “사람이 무엇이기에 그를 마음에 두시며 인자가 무엇이기에 주께서 그를 돌보시나이까?”라고 하나님께 질문했습니다. 선지자 이사야도 미물같은 사람에 대하여 :” 원형의 지구 위에앉으신 분이 그분이시니 그곳의 거민들이 메뚜기 같으며“(사 40:22)라고 증거했습니다.

        다윗왕은 하나님께서 에덴 동산에서 천사보다 조금 낮게 지으신 사람에게 관을 씌우셔서 주께서 만드신 작품을 다스리게 하셨던 것을 기억하면서 하나님께 말씀드렸던 것입니다. 뿐만 아니라, 첫 사람이 범죄함으로 잃었던 왕권을 마지막 아담으로 오셔서 아담의 죄를 전해받아 세상에 충만한 죄를 제거하시고 이제 다시 오셔서 옛날 아담처럼 마귀를 무저갱에 가두시고 만왕의 왕 , 만주의 주로써 통치하실 때 “오 주 우리 주여, 주의 이름이 온 땅에 어찌 그리 뛰어나신지요!” 라고 모든 사람들이 외치게 될 그분께서 통치하시는 왕국과 그 후에 마귀를 불못으로 던지시고 새 하늘들과 새 땅과 새 예루살렘에서 영원무궁토록 통치하실 주 예수 그리스도를 찬양한 것입니다. 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 104:1-35

Main scripture: Psalms 8:1-9

Subject: What is man before the eye of God?

        When the first man, Adam sinned, God not killed the man with his wife, Eve to create another man. He only cursed the serpent that temped eve to sin. Then he made coats of skin for them to be clothed; and cast them out the Garden of Eden.

        As soon as the Devil, the old serpent tempted the first man to sin, God asked the reason why Adam ate the fruit as well as Eve; and thereafter God ran unto the serpent, and said unto him as if he had waited the serpent to tempt them:

“ Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”(Gen. 3:14,15)

       The interest of God seems to judge the serpent unto destruction. If not so, God might have killed Adam and Eve to send them to hell; and made a man again as the second man. The LORD God spoke through the prophet Isaiah very clearly:

“For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.”(Isa. 40:8)

       As God created heaven and earth not in vain, he never made man in vain at all, for he made man in his image and his likeness. The LORD God revealed who is the Devil that came down to the earth, and tempted the first man to sin against God:

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”(Isa. 14:12-15)

       And also through the prophet Ezekiel, he testified of the Lucifer, the Devil in heaven; and also testified why he is to be judged by God:

 ” Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.”

Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.”(EZ 28:13-19)

       Apostle John made same testimony of the Devil that sinned in heaven; and also testified of the purpose of God against the Devil in the earth:

“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”(1John 3:8)

        Apostle Paul also testified of the purpose of God against the Devil as Apostle John did:

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”(Heb. 2:14,15)

       Yeah! The LORD God had already known, the Devil casted out from heaven will visit the Garden of Eden in the form of the serpent; and tempt the first man that was a living soul, not a quickening spirit yet, for he is the God, the Omni Science. God of righteousness chastened Adam and Eve right after they sinned according to their sin, but unto the serpent, he went to him to declare the war as if he had waited the serpent to do that saying “Because thou hast done this”.

        Since then, men began to multiply the face of the earth for thousand years. There is no way to figure out how many people dwelt in the earth. But we can guess the number of men might have been enough to cover the whole earth knowing, they might able to give birth their children for nearly nine hundred years. The population at that time could be almost same as the one in 21st Century. But because of the sin inherited by Adam, the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually, it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. After all, the LORD couldn’t help destroyed all men on the earth by the flood saving Noah and his family. Because the LORD made man not in vain, he saved Noah with his three sons so that men have been multiplied again through them for last five thousand years.

        But unfortunately, the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of men still have been evil same as the time of Noah. Because they have not seen the judgment of God for last five thousand years, people even think of God that is dead no more living nowadays. King Solomon prophesied of this generation saying,“ Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.”)Eccl. 8:11)

       The LORD God the Creator who created man not in vain became a man as the seed of woman that is Israel. He was conceived in the womb of Mary by the Holy Ghost, and born in the name of JESUS that means the One that shall save his people from their sins in the family of Joseph, a son of David. Apostle Paul testified of him saying as the last man, “The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickning spirit.”(1Cor. 15:45)

       Apostle Paul testified of the first man as well as the last Adam Jesus Christ unto the saints in Rome:

 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”(Rom. 5:12-19)

         Yeah! The will of God is not destroy men that were made in his image and his likeness, but rather to judge the old serpent that is Satan and the Devil and the great Dragon, and to take away the sin and death and curses that have been spread out by him to the whole earth. and to create the New heavens and the New Earth and the New Jerusalem where only the righteousness abides. Apostle Paul testified of the purpose of God who created the earth:

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”(Eph. 1:4-7)

       Yeah! The purpose of God who created men in the earth is to save them all through the Lord Jesus Christ, and let them come unto the knowledge of the truth as testified by Apostle Paul unto Timothy (1Tim. 2:4). In other word, since the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross to take away the sin of the world, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures, and the Holy Ghost was sent by God in the name of Jesus, all men have been born to receive the blessing to be children of God through believing the gospel of the Lord receiving the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Jesus Christ to be clothed with the righteousness of God. In other word, the birth itself in the world is the opportunity of blessing of God. It doesn’t matter whatsoever kinds of situation where they are born. Jesus testified of himself saying he was anointed by the Holy Ghost to preach the good tiding unto the poor (Luke 4:18).

        Apostle Paul wrote unto the saints in Corinthian church saying, “For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:”(1Cor. 1:26))

In other word, as the word of the Lord Jesus, the poor hears the gospel of grace of Christ, and believe in him, and receive the eternal life.

        Now, returning to the main scripture, King David thought of God who created heavens by his fingers, as well as moon and the stars; and he asked the LORD saying, “What is man, and thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?” Prophet Isaiah also testified of man as a little insect saying, “It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers…”(Isa. 40:22)

        King David remembered , God made man a little lower than the angels, and crowned him with glory and honor in the Garden of Eden for him to rule over the works of his hands; and God put all things under his feet. King David also was looking forward the Lord Jesus Christ coming as the last Adam to take away of the sin of the world to be crowned restoring the crown lost by the first man, and come as the King of Kings , and the Lord of Lords, and put the Devil into the bottomless pit, and reign in the New Heavens and the New Earth and the New Jerusalem forever more. King David blessed the Lord Jesus ruling in his kingdom looking forward his coming reign in the earth saying,

“O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!”
