금주의 묵상: 시편 19:1-14

본문: 시편 20:1-9

제목: 더딜지라도 주 안에서 주신 계획을 이루시는 하나님

          선지자 이사야는 주의 영에 대하여 증거할 때에, 지혜와 명철의 영이요, 계획과 능력의 영이며, 지식과 주를 두려워하는 영이라고 증거했습니다. 성령으로 거듭난 하나님의 자녀들에게는 지혜와 명철을 주실뿐만 아니라 하나님의 뜻을 이루시기 위하여 성령 안에서 계획하는 능력도 주시는 것입니다.

       본문에 나타난 다윗의 기도는 이스라엘 백성들이 고난에 처할 때에 그들의 하나님께서 그들의 기도를 들으시고 하나님의 이름이 그들을 지키시고 성소로부터 그들에게 도움을 보내시고 시온으로부터 그들에게 힘을 주실 것이라고 증거하고 있습니다. 하나님께서는 그들에게 주신 율법의 언약대로 그들의 제사들을 기억하시고 그들의 번제의 희생제물을 받으시기 원하신다고 증거하고 있습니다.

        그렇습니다! 그들이 비록 바빌론과 앗시리아와 이집트같은 나라들과 더불어 영적으로 음행하여 하나님의 징계를 받았지만 그들이 회개할 때에 그들의 기도를 들으시고 그들을 징계하시는 데 사용하셨던 나라들이 교만해졌을 때 그들을 멸망시키심으로써 자신이 도끼로 사용하셨던 나라들을 꺾으셨던 것입니다.

        뿐만 아니라, 마침내 그들의 왕으로 이 땅에 나타나신 하나님이신 주 예수 그리스도를 거절하고 로마의 왕을 믿음으로 그분을 십자가에 못박아 처형한 결과로 주님의 피값을 받으시기 위해 세계대전을 통하여 엄청난 죽임을 당하게 하셨지만, 그들의 기도를 들으시고 아브라함에게 약속한 카나안 땅인 팔레스타인 땅의 일부를 회복하게 하셨을 뿐만 아니라 본토를 비롯하여 온 땅에 이천만이나 되는 유대인들을 살려두셨던 것입니다.

        또한 그들은 여전히 그들이 바라던 메시야가 오실 때 그들이 온 땅에 제사장 민족이 될 것이라는 시오니즘(Zionism)이라는 계획을 이루기 위하여 지금도 기다라고 있는 것입니다. 그러나 그들이 바라고 있는 메시야가 참 메시야가 아니지만 그들이 대 환란 가운데 고난 중에 있을 때 이 땅에 나타나시는 주 예수 그리스도가 바로 그들이 찌른 참 하나님이신 메시야임을 처절하게 깨닫고 회개할 때 마침내 그들의 메시야이신 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 그들의 모든 계획을 이루게 될 것이라고 다윗은 성령 안에서 예언하고 있습니다.

        그들은 마침내 대 환란 가운데 회개하여 그들의 메시야를 통하여 구원을 받아 기뻐하게 될 것이며 주 예수 그리스도의 보좌가 있는 시온, 즉 예루살렘에 그들의 주님의 깃발을 세우게 될 것이라고 예언하고 있는 것입니다. 마침내 하나님께서는 회개한 이스라엘의 남은자들의 모든 간구를 천년왕국의 때에 다 이루게 될 것입니다.

      그때부터 이스라엘 백성들은 더 이상 어떤 이방나라들의 우상들이나 육신적인 무기들을 의지하지 않게 될 것이며 오직 그들의 주 하나님만을 기억하며 의지하게 될 것이라고 증거하고 있습니다. 그들은 영원무궁토록 그들의 하나님만을 섬기게 될 것입니다.

        다윗왕 안에 계셨던 성령님께서 앞으로 주 예수 그리스도께서 이 땅에 오셔서 세우실 왕국에서 통치자가 될 다윗왕을 통하여 앞으로 이 땅이 회복될 때 이스라엘에 이루실 모든 계획이 모두 성취될 것을 미리 예언하게 하셨던 것입니다. 이에 대하여 선지자 에스겔은 그 날들에 대하여 예언했습니다:

“그러므로 내가 내 양무리를 구해 내서 그들로 다시는 약탈물이 되지 않게 하리니 그러면 내가 송아지와 송아지 사이에서 심판하리라. 내가 한 목자를 그들 위에 세우면 그가 그들을 먹이리니, 곧 나의 종 다윗이라. 그가 그들을 먹일 것이요, 그가 그들의 목자가 되리라. 나 주는 그들의 하나님이 되고 내 종 다윗은 그들 가운데 통치자가 되리라. 나 주가 그것을 말하였도다. 내가 그들과 화평의 언약을 세우고 악한 짐승들을 그 땅에서 그치게 하리라. 그리하면 그들이 광야에서 안전하게 거하며 수림 가운데서 잠자리라. 내가 그들과 내 산 사면에 있는 곳들을 복이 되게 할 것이며 또 내가 때를 따라 소니기를 내리게 하리니 거기에는 복된 소나기가 있게 되리라. 들의 나무들은 열매를 맺고 땅은 그 소산을 내리라. 그들은 그들의 땅에서 안전할 것이니라. 내가 그들의 멍엣줄은 꺾고 그들로 자신을 섬기게 했던 자들의 손에서 그들을 구해 낼 때 그들은 내가 주인 줄 알리라. 그들이 다시는 이방에게 약탈물이 되지 아니할 것이며 그 땅의 짐승도 그들을 삼키지 아니하리라. 그러나 그들은 안전하게 거하리니 아무도 그들을 두렵게 하지 아니하리라. 내가 그들을 위하여 유명한 한 초목을 일으키리니 그들이 다시는 그 땅에서 배고픔으로 소멸되지 아니할 것이요, 더 이상 이방의 수치를 짊어지지 아니할 것이라. 그리하여 그들은 나 주 그들의 하나님이 그들과 함께 있는 줄 알 것이며 그들, 즉 이스라엘 집이 나의 백성인 줄 알리라. 주 하나님이 말하노라.”(겔 34:22-31)

       하나님께서 이스라엘 백성에게 주신 옛 언약인 율법을 지키지 않음으로 인해 그들 스스로 파기하였으나 선지자 에스겔과 예레미야와 이사야를 통하여 예언하게 하신 하나님께서 그들과 새 언약(New Covenant)을 세우실 것에 대하여 히브리서 기자인 사도 바울도 성령 안에서 증거했습니다:

“만일 첫 번째 언약이 흠이 없었더라면 두 번째 것이 요구될 여지가 없었으리라. 그들에게서 허물을 발견하고 그가 말씀하시기를 ‘보라, 그 날들이 오리라, 주가 말하노라. 내가 이스라엘 집과 유다 집과 더불어 새 언약(the new covenant)을 맺으리라. 그것은 내가 그들의 조상의 손을 잡아 이집트 땅에서 인도하여 내던 날에 그들과 세운 언약과 같지 아니하니, 이는 그들이 내 언약 속에 머물러 있지 아니하므로 내가 그들을 돌아보지 아니하였음이라. 주가 말하노라. 그 날들 이후에 내가 이스라엘 집과 세울 언약이 이것이라. 주가 말하노라. 내가 내 율법들을 그들의 생각에 두고 그들의 마음에 그것들을 기록하리라. 나는 그들의 하나님이 되고 그들은 내 백성이 되리라. 그들이 자기 이웃이나 형제에게 일일이 가르쳐 주를 알라고 하지 아니하리니, 이는 그들이 가장 작은 자로부터 가잔 큰 자에 이르기까지 다 나를 알게 될 것이기 때문이라. 내가 그들의 불의에 대하여 자비를 베풀며 그들의 죄들과 불법들을 다시는 기억하지 아니할 것이라.’고 하셨느니라. 그가 말씀하시기를 ‘새 언약(A new covenant)이라.’고 하셨으니, 그가 먼저 것은 옛 것이 되게 하신 것이라. 이제 낡아지고 오래된 것은 사라져 가느니라.”(히 8:7-13)

        율법 안에 거하지 않았던 이스라엘이 마침내 회개할 때에 그들에게 새 언약(New Covenant)을 맺으시는 하나님께서 유대인이나 이방인이나 차별 없이 독생자이신 주 예수 그리스도의 피를 믿는 사람들이 하나가 되게 하셔서 세우신 하나님의 교회와도 새 언약(New testament)을 맺으셨습니다. 이스라엘과 맺은 새 언약(The new Covenant)은 아브라함과 맺은 언약에 따라 그들이 새 땅에 영원히 거하는 언약이지만, 하나님의 교회와 맺으신 새 언약(The New Testament)은 하늘 새 예루살렘에서 주님과 영원히 살게 되는 언약인 것입니다. 사도 마태는 이에 대하여 증거했습니다:

“그들이 먹고 있을 때에, 예수께서 빵을 가지고 축복하신 후 떼어 제자들에게 주시며 말씀하시기를 ‘받아 먹으라. 이것은 나의 몸이니라.’고 하시고 또 잔을 가지고 감사드린 후에 그들에게 주시며 말씀하시기를 이것을 모두 마시라. 이는 이것이 죄들을 사하심으로 인하여 많은 사람을 위해 흘리는 나의 새 언약(the new testament)의 피이기 때문이라. 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 이제부터 내가 너희와 함께 내 아버지의 왕국에서 세 것으로 마시는 그 날까디 이 포도 열매에서 난 것을 마시지 아니하리라.'”(마 26:26-29)

     하나님께서 자신의 피로 사신 교회에게 주신 새 언약 을 받은 모든 그리스도인들은 성령 안에서 주시는 하나님의 계획을 이루시는 데 쓰임받는 축복을 주셨습니다. 하나님께서는 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 모든 사람들이 구원을 받고 진리의 지식에 이르기를 원하신다고 사도 바울이 목회자 디모데에게 증거했습니다(딤전 2:4). 하나님께서는 모든 고난 가운데 있는 이스라엘 백성을 구하시고 지켜주시는 것처럼 하나님의 자녀들에게도 동일한 축복을 주시는 것입니다. 또한 영적인 시온이 교회 안에서 도움을 보내시며 힘을 돋우어 주시는 것입니다. 또한 주 안에서 주신 모든 계획을 이루시기 원하시는 것입니다. 하나님께서는 복음의 깃발을 온 땅에 세우시는 데 자신의 교회를 쓰시기를 원하시는 것입니다.

          하나님의 교회에게 주신 축복은 이스라엘에게 주신 것보다 값절의 축복입니다. 이스라엘은 땅의 제사장 민족이 되는 축복이지만 하나님의 교회에게 주신 축복은 주님과 새 예루살렘에서 영원히 함께 사는 것 외에 그리스도와 함께 천 년 동안 이 땅에서 통치하는 왕같은 제사장이 되는 축복을 주신 것입니다. 주님께서 므나 비유를 통해서 아주 구체적으로 말씀하신 것처럼, 어떤 사람은 열 고을을 , 또 다른 사람은 다섯 고을을 통치하게 될 것이며 통치권을 잃어버릴 자들 또한 있을 것리라고 말씀하셨습니다(눅 19:11-27)

        사도 바울은 그리스도와 통치하는 영광스런 축복에 대하여 증거했습니다: “우리가 참으면 우리도 그와 함께 다스릴 것이요 우리가 그를 부인하면 그도 우리를 부인할 것이라…자녀이면 또한 상속자들이요, 그리스도와 함께 한 공동 상속자들이니 우리가 그와 함께 고난을 받은 것은 함께 영광도 받게 하려 함이니라. 이는 현재의 고난들이 우리에게 나타날 영광에 감히 비교되지 못한다고 내가 여기기 때문이라…그러나 만일 우리가 보지 못하는 것을 바란다면 인내로 기다릴지니라(딤후 2:12, 롬 8:17,18,25).

      또한 사도 바울은 이 소망을 가진 골로세 성도들에게 그들이 살고있는 큰 도시에서 그들이 범하기 쉬운 죄에 대하여 경고하면서 이 영광스러운 소망에 대하여 증거했습니다:

“그러므로 너희가 그리스도와 함께 살아났으면 위에 있는 것들을 구하라. 거기에는 그리스도께서 하나님의 오른편에 앉아 계시느니라. 위에 있는 것들에 너희 마음을 두고 땅에 있는 것들에 마음을 두지 말라. 이는 너희가 죽었고 또 너희의 생명이 그리스도와 함께 하나님 안에 감추어졌기 때문이라. 우리의 생명이신 그리스도께서 나타나실 때 그때 너희도 그와 함께 영광 가운데 나타날 것이라. 그러므로 땅 위에 있는 너희의 지체를 죽이라. 곧 음행과 부정과 사욕과 악한 색욕과 탐심이니 탐심은 우상숭배니라. 이런 것들 때문에 하나님의 진노가 불순종의 자녀들 위에 임하느니라.”(골 3:1-6)

        하나님께서는 이 교회를 통하여 하나님께서 친히 보존하신 순수한 말씀 안에 있는 건전한 주 예수 그리스도의 복음과 진리의 지식을 온 땅에 있는 그리스도인들에게 전파하는 소명을 주시고 성령 안에서 계획하신 것을 에벤에셀의 하나님께서 인도하시고 계신 것입니다. 우리 모두가 인터넷 성도들과 함께 한 영 안에서 하나가 되어 이 모든 계획을 이루기 위하여 기도하며 나갈 때에 “네 마음을 따라 네게 허락하시고 네 모든 계획을 이루시기를 원허노라. 우리가 너의 구원을 즐거워하며 우리 하나님의 이름으로 우리의 깃발을 세우리니, 주께서 너의 모든 간구를 이루시기를 원하노라.”는 본문 말씀대로 이뤄지게 될 것입니다. 하나님의 계획을 이루지 못하게 방해하는 사탄의 시험을 이겨내고 끝까지 인내하는 자만이 주 예수 그리스도께서 조만간 공중에 나타나시는 휴거의 날인 그리스도의 날에 칭찬과 존귀와 영광을 주님께로부터 받게 될 것이며 주 예수 그리스도의 왕국에서 그와 함께 영광스럽게 통치하는 축복을 누리게 될 것입니다.

          사도 베드로는 하나님의 날을 기다리는 성도들에게 “주의 약속은 어떤 사람들이 더디다고 생각하는 것같이 더딘 것이 아니라 오직 우리에 대하여 오래 참으시어 아무도 멸망치 않고 다 회개에 이르게 하려 하심이라.”(벧후 3:9)고 증거했습니다. 또한 하박국 선지자도 주 하나님께서 영광스럽게 오셔서 이 땅을 심판하시고 영광스럽게 통치하시는 일에 대하여 “그러나 환상은 정해 놓은 때가 있으니 결국은 말할 것이요, 거짓말하지 아니하리라. 더딜지라도 기다리라. 그 때가 더디지 아니하고 반드시 이를 것임이라.”(합 2:3)고 증가했으며, 주의 심판의 날을 바라보면서 그는 그의 삶을 결단하면서 증거했습니다:

“비록 무화과나무가 무성하지 않으며 포도나무들에 열매가 없고 올리브 나무의 수고가 헛것이 되고 밭들이 양식을 내지 못하며 우리들에 양떼가 끊어지고 외양간들에 소떼가 없을지라도 나는 여전히 주를 기뻐할 것이요 나는 내 구원의 하나님을 즐거워하리라. 주 하나님은 나의 힘이시니 그가 나의 발을 암사슴들의 발 같게 하실 것이요, 그가 나로 하여금 나의 높은 곳으로 걷게 하시리로다.”(합 3:17-19) 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: psalms 19:1-14

Main scripture: Psalms 20:1-9

Subject: God will fulfill his plan in the Lord Jesus Christ, even though it may be delayed

       Prophet Isaiah testified of the Spirit of God as the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. Therefore, unto all born again Christian of the Spirit of God, not only the wisdom and understanding, but also the spirit of counsel that is planning so that they may be able to the will of God.

        The prayer of King David in the main passage is for the people of Israel as prophesy; in the day of trouble that is the Great Tribulation, the LORD God will hear them; and the name of the God of Jacob will defend them; and he will send them help from the sanctuary, and strengthen them out of Zion. According to the promise under the law, he will remember all their offerings, and accept their burnt sacrifice.

        Yeah! Even though they had been involved in the fornication spiritually with Babylon, Assyria, Egypt and they had been chastened by God, had heard their prayer when they repented their , sins; afterwards, God destroyed the nations that had been used as axes upon seeing their arrogance.

        When their king, Jesus appeared unto them in the earth, they rejected him and crucified him trusting in the king of Roman Empire as their king. As they wanted the price of the blood of Jesus to be imputed unto their children, multitude of them had been killed through the World War II; but finally, upon hearing their prayer, God restored the land of Palestine partially according to the promise unto Abraham; and God has increased the number of them nearly twenty Million in their home land as well as in all other nations.

        And they are still waiting for fulfilling Zionism to make them the people of priest of the world when their Messiah is to come. Even though the Messiah that they are waiting for is not the true one they shall repent miserably upon looking at the Lord Jesus Christ knowing themselves killed their Messiah. King David prophesied in the Spirit, God shall fulfill his all his plan for them through the Lord Jesus Christ after all.

        They shall rejoice for their salvation through their Messiah when they repent in the midst of the Great Tribulation; and they shall set up their banner of their Messiah in Zion, Jerusalem. Finally, the LORD God will receive all the supplication of the remnant of Israel in the Millennium of the Lord Jesus Christ.

        Since then, they shall never worship the idols of the Gentiles; and no more trust carnal weapons, but they shall trust only in their God so that they shall serve their God forever more.

        The Holy Ghost in King David let him prophesy to fulfill the will of God for Israel through him in the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ in the earth. Prophet Ezekiel prophesied of the things that shall be done in Israel in those days: “Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.

And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the Lord have spoken it.

And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.

And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.

And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.

Thus shall they know that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord God.

And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God.”(EZ. 34:22-31)

       Even though the people of Israel had broken the law of God that is the old covenant, the LORD God had prophet Jeremiah and Isaiah of the new covenant that shall be establish with God; Apostle Paul, the writer of Hebrews testified of the new covenant in the Spirit:

“For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.”(Heb. 8:8-13)

As God gave the new covenant unto the Israel when they repent their sins in the future, God made the new testament with them that believe in the blood of Jesus Christ whether they are the Jew or the Gentiles. The new covenant that is given unto Israel is the covenant according to the covenant with Abraham for them to dwell in the earth forever; but the New Testament for the church of God is to have the children of God to dwell in the New Jerusalem in heaven forever. Apostle Matthew testified of the New testament for the church of God:

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”(Matt. 26:26-28)

       Unto all the Christians that have the New Testament given his church purchased by his blood are blessed to be used to fulfill the will of God. Apostle Paul testified unto Timothy saying, God wants to save all men, and let them come unto the knowledge of the truth (1Tim. 2:4). As God had been deliver the people of Israel in the midst of the days of trouble, and protected them, the same blessing are upon the children of God. And in the church of God is as the spiritual Zion, God also send help and strengthen us also; and God wants us to fulfill all the plans given unto us in the Lord so that we are supposed to set up the banner of the gospel of Christ in all the earth.

        The blessing given unto the church is double blessing compared to the one for Israel, for Israel shall be the people of priest in the earth, but the blessing for his church is not only to be the royal priests reigning with Christ in the earth for thousand years, and also to dwell in the New Jerusalem in heaven with him forever. As Jesus spoke unto his disciples of a parable in details, some one shall reign in ten cities, and some one else in five cities, and others shall have no reigning power at all (Luke 19:11-27).

        Apostle Paul testified of the glorious blessing of ruling with Christ Jesus in his Millennium: “If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us…. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us…… But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.”(2Tim. 2:12, Rom. 8:17,18,25)

       Apostle Paul also testified unto the Colossians that were living in the great city as Los Angeles of the glorious hope warning them of sins that they could be involved in sins: “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:”(Col. 3:1-6)

      God of Ebenezer has been guiding us to preach the sound gospel and the knowledge in the purely preserved word of God unto all the earth according to his plan through the Holy Ghost. We are supposed to be one in the Spirit together with the saints in the internet, and pray together, the will of God shall be done as said in the main passage saying, “Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.”

We have to endure the temptation of Satan that is hindering us so that we may not be able to perform his will; then we shall receive the honor and praise and glory from the Lord Jesus Christ in the day of Christ when he appears in the air sooner or later; and we hall be blessed to reign with him gloriously in his kingdom.

        Apostle Peter testified, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”(2Pet. 3:9)

Prophet Habakkuk also testified of the Lord Jesus Christ coming to the world gloriously to judge the earth and reign gloriously: “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”(Hab. 2:3)

        And he resolved himself looking toward the day of the Lord of judgment, and testified:

“Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.”(Hab. 3:17-19)

Amen! Hallelujah!
