금주의 묵상: 시편 17:1-15

본문: 시편 16:1-11

제목: 예수 그리스도의 부활과 우리 몸의 부활, 그리고 하나님의 나라(왕국)

        하나님께서는 이 세상(지구)의 기초를 놓으시기 이전에 이미 우리로 사랑 안에서 그분 앞에 거룩하고 흠 없게 하시려고 그리스도 안에서 우리를 택하시어 우리를 자신의 자녀로 입양할 것을 예정하셨습니다(엡 1:4,5)

       다시말해서, 하나님께서는 하늘에서 범죄하여 타락한 루시퍼, 즉 마귀가 앞으로 지상에 창조될 사람에게 죄를 가져올 것을 미리 아셨던 것입니다. 이로 인하여 하나님께서는 자신의 독생자를 예수라는 이름으로 세상 죄를 제거하는 하나님의 어린 양으로 보내실 것을 계획하셨던 것입니다. 선지자 이사야는 범죄한 루시퍼에 대하여 증거했습니다:

“오 아침의 아들 루시퍼야, 네가 어찌 하늘에서 떨어졌느냐? 민족들을 연약하게 하였던 네가 어찌하여 땅으로 끊어져 내렸느냐?”(사 14:12)

        사도 요한도 마귀에 대하여 증거했습니다:

“죄를 짓는 자는 마귀에게 속하나니 이는 마귀가 처움부터 죄를 짓기 때문이라. 이 목적으로 하나님의 아들이 나타났으니, 곧 마귀의 일들을 멸하시려는 것이라.”(요일 3:8)

사도 바울도 요한과 같은 증거를 했습니다:

“자녀들이 피와 살에 참여하는 자인 것같이 그 역시 같은 모양으로 동일한 것에 참여하신 것은 자신의 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 가진 자, 곧 마귀를 멸망시키며 또 죽음을 두려워하므로 평생을노예로 속박되어 있는 자들을 놓아주시려 함이니라.”(히 2:14,15)

        그렇습니다. 사도 바울을 통하여 전해진 그리스도의 복음대로 예수 그리스도의 죽으심과 장사되심, 그리고 그분의 부활은 원수 마귀가 이 땅에 뿌려놓은 죄와 사망과 저주를 멸하여 그 가운데서 신음하며 속박되어 있는 모든 사람을 구원하시기 위함인 것입니다.

        예수님께서 십자가에서 죽으셨을 때 이 땅에 있는 성전의 휘장이 둘로 찢어졌습니다. 찢어진 휘장은 바로 예수 그리스도의 찢어진 육체인 것입니다. 사도 바울은 히브리인에게 보내는 편지 가운데, “그가 우리를 위해 바치신 새롭고 살아있는 길로 휘장, 곧 그의 육체를 통하여 들어가느니라.”(히 10:20)고 증거했습니다.

그 이후로 누구든지 자신의 죄들을 위해 예수 그리스도께서 죽으신 것과 그의 부활을 믿는 사람은 그분의 찢어진 육체를 통하여 지성소, 즉 하나님의 임재 속으로 들어감으로써 영원한 생명을 받게 되는 것입니다.

        예수 그리스도의 몸이 찢어지고 성전의 휘장이 둘로 찢어졌을 때, 동시에 하늘에서는 하나님과 원수되어 막혀있던 하늘문이 열리게 된 것입니다. 주님께서는 앞으로 자신이 세상 죄를 제거하시기 위해 죽으시고 부활하시게 될 때에 하늘로 들어가는 문이 열리게 될 것에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다:

“진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 나는 양들의 문이라. 내 앞에 온 자는 다 도둑들이요, 강도들이라. 양들이 그들을 듣지 아니하였느니라. 나는 그 문이라. 누구든지 나를 통하여 들어가면 구원받을 것이며 또 들어가며 나오며 초장을 찾으리라. 도둑은 오직 도둑질하고 죽이며 멸망시키려고 오지만, 내가 온 것은 양들로 생명을 얻고 더 풍성히 얻게 하려 함이라. 나는 선한 목자라. 선한 목자는 양들을 위하여 자기 생명을 내어 놓으나 삯꾼은 목자가 아니요, 양들도 자기 양들이 아니므로 이리가 오는 것을 보면 버려두고 도망치느니라. 그리하여 이리가 양들을 채가고 흩어지게 하느니라.”(요 10:7-11)

        다윗왕은 본문에서 앞으로 천 년 정도 지나게 될 때에 자신의 죄를 위하여 죽으실 주 예수 그리스도를 성령 안에서 미리 보고 그가 기다리는 그리스도를 통하여 자신이 지옥에 가지 않을 것을 믿었으며 그분의 몸이 썩지 않고 죽은 자 가운데서 부활하실 것을 미리 보고 증거한 것입니다:

“그러므로 내 마음이 기쁘고 내 영광이 즐거워하며 내 육체도 소망 가운데 안식하리니 이는 주께서 내 혼을 지옥에 버려두지 아니하시며 주의 거룩하신 분으로 썩어짐을 보지 않게 하실 것임이니이다. 주께서 내게 생명의 길을 보여주시리니 주의 면전에는 충만한 기쁨이 있고 주의 오른 편에는 즐거움이 영원무궁토록 있나이다.”(시 16:9-11)

      또한 그는 그의 유일한 소망에 대하여 자신의 몸이 부활하는 날에 누리는 것이라고 증거했습니다:

 “오 주여, 주의 손인 사람들과 이생에서 자기들의 몫을 받은 세상 사람들로부터 나의 혼을 구하소서. 주께서 주의 감추어진 보화로 그들의 배를 채우셨으니 그들은 자녀들로 가득하고 그들의 남은 재산을 자기들의 아기들에게 남겨 주나이다. 나, 나는 의 가운데서 주의 얼굴을 보리니내가 깨면(부활하면) 주의 모습으로 만족하리이다.”(시 17:14,15)

        그리스도 안에서 잠들어있는 수많은 그리스도인들 역시 같은 소망 가운데 살다가 그리스도께서 공중에 나타나시는 그리스도의 날에 영광스러운 주님의 모습으로 변화되려는 한 가지 소망 속에서 살다가 잠들었던 것입니다. 이들을 대표하여 사도 요한은 그와 같은 그리스도인들의 소망과 이 세상을 어떻게 살아야 하는지에 대하여 증거했습니다:

“사랑하는 자들아, 이제는 우리가 하나님의 아들들이라. 우리가 어떻게 될 것인지는 아직 나타나지 아니하였으나 그가 나타나시면 우리가 그와 같이 되리라는 것을 아노니, 이는 우리가 그분 그대로 그분을 볼 것이기 때문이라. 그분 안에서 이 소망을 가지는 사람은 누구나 그분이 정결하신 것처럼 자신을 정결케 하느니라.”(요일 3:2,3)

        주 예수 그리스도께서 부활하신 후 당장 하늘로 올라가시지 않고 사십 일을 이 땅에 머무르시면서 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 대하여 가르치셨습니다. 사도행전을 기록한 누가는 이에 대하여 “예수께서 고난을 당하신 후 자신이 살아계심을 그들에게 많은 무오한 증거들로 보여주시고 사십 일 동안 그들에게 보이시며 하나님의 나라에 관한 일들을 말씀하셨노라.”(행 1:3)고 증거했습니다.

        사도들이 함께 모였을 때 주님께서는 그들에게 예루살렘을 떠나지 말고 아버지의 약속을 기다려야 한다고 명령하시면서 여러 날이 지나지 않아 그들 모두가 성령으로 침례를 받게 될 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다. 이 때에 사도들은 당장 하나님의 나라가 이 땅에 나타나는 줄 알고, 곧, 이스라엘이 회복되어 주 예수 그리스도께서 왕이 되시는 줄 알고 “주여, 이 때에 이스라엘에 그 왕국을 다시 회복하시겠나이까?“(행 1:6)라고 물었습니다. 그러나 주님께서는 그 때나 그 시기에 대하여는 아버지께서 자신의 권한에 맡기셨으니 성령이 임하시면 능력을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 자신에게 증인이 되라고 명령하셨습니다. 이 말씀은 그들이 해야 할 일은 이스라엘의 회복에 대하여 하나님의 때에 맡기고 다만 주 예수 그리스도의 죽으심과 부활하심을 증거하여 많은 사람들이 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어가도록 하라고 명령하신 것입니다.

        주님께서 부활하신 후 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 대하여 증거하신 것은 자신이 세상 죄를 제거하시기 위해 죽으시고 장사되셨다가 셋째 날에 부활하신 목적이 죄와 사망과 저주가 없는 자신의 왕국을 하늘과 땅에 세우시기 위함인 것을 말씀하신 것입니다. 이스라엘의 종교지도자 중 한 사람인 니고데모가 주님을 찾아왔을 때 그에게 “진실로 진실로 내가 너에게 말하노니, 사람이 거듭나지 아니하면 하나님의 나라(왕국)를 볼 수 없느니라…진실로 진실로 내가 너에게 말하노니, 사람이 물과 성령으로 태어나지 아니하면 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어길 수 없느니라. 육신으로 난 것은 육이요, 또 성령으로 난 것은 영이니라.”(요 3:3, 5,6)고 말씀하셨습니다.

      그렇습니다! 주 예수 그리스도의 죽으심과 부활하심을 통하여 이루실 하나님의 뜻은 사도 바울이 에베소 교회에게 증거한 것처럼, “때가 찬 경륜 안에서 하늘에 있는 것들이나 땅에 있는 것들이나 자신 안에 있는 것들까지도 만물을 그리스도 안에서 하나로 함께 모으려는 것이니라.”(엡 1:10)

          지난 이천 년 동안 수많은 사람들이 주 예수 그리스도를 믿어 영접함으로써 성령으로 다시 태어나서 살다가 하늘에 있는 하나님의 왕국으로 그들의 영과 혼이 들어간 것입니다. 또한 그들은 그리스도의 날, 즉 휴거의 날에 예수 그리스도와 함께 내려오게 될 때 그들의 몸이 죽지 않고 썩지 않는 몸으로 부활하여 그들이 일한 만큼 이 땅에서 천년 동안 유업을 누리게 되는 것입니다. 또한 살아 있는 거듭난 그리스도인들 안에는 부활하신 그리스도께서 살아계셔서 그들 안에 영적인 하나님의 왕국이 이루어진 것입니다. 사도 바울은 잠들었거나 살아 있는 거듭난 그리스도인들의 소망에 대하여 증거했습니다:

 “예수께서 죽었다가 다시 살아나신 것을 우리가 믿는다면 그와 같이 하나님께서는 예수 안에서 잠든 자들도 그와 함께 데리고 오시리라. 우리가 주의 말씀으로 너희에게 이것을 말하노니 주께서 오실 때까지 살아남아 있는 우리가 잠들어 있는 자들보다 결단코 앞서지 못하리라. 주께서 호령과 천사장의 음성과 하나님의 나팔소리와 함께 하늘로부터 친히 내려오시리니 그러면 주 안에서 죽은 자들이 먼저 일어나고 그리고 나서 살아남아 있는 우리도 공중에서 주와 만나기 위하여 그들과 함께 구름 속으로 끌려올라가리니, 그리하여 우리가 영원히 주와 함께 있으리라. 그러므로 이러한 말로 서로 위로하라.”(살전 4:14-18)

        그렇습니다! 거듭난 우리에게는 예수 그리스도의 부활이 더 이상 과거 사건이 아닌 것입니다. 그분의 부활이 이미 우리 속에 이루어진 것입니다. 또한 안에 그리스도의 왕국인 영적인 하나님의 나라(왕국)가 이루어진 사람은 앞으로 그리스도께서 공중에 나타나시는 그리스도의 날이 올 때에 몸이 부활하여 그리스도의 모습으로 변화하게 될 것입니다. 또한 죄의 몸인 육신은 이미 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 죽은 것으로 처리된 것입니다. 사도 바울은 이에 대하여 증거했습니다:

 “내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못박혀 있으나 그럼에도 나는 살아있노라. 그러나 내가 사는 것이 아니요, 그리스도께서 내 안에 사시는 것이라. 내가 이제 육신 안에서 사는 삶은 나를 사랑하시어 나를 위해 자신을 주신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음으로 사는 것이라…..너희를 위하여 내게 주신 하나님의 경륜을 따라 하나님의 말씀을 이루려고 내가 일꾼이 되었노라. 이 신비는 여러 시대와 세대에 감추어졌다가 이제 그의 성도들에게 나타났고 하나님께서는 이들에게 이방인들 가운데서 이 신비의 영광의 풍요함이 어떠한지를 알리고자 하셨으니 이 신비는 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시요 영광의 소망이라.”(갈 2:20, 골 1:25-27) 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 17:1-15

Main scripture: Psalms 16:1-11

Subject: Resurrection of Jesus Christ, and resurrection of our body, and the kingdom of God

        Before the foundation of the world, God has chosen us in Christ that we should be holy and without blame before him in love. And he had predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will (Eph 1:4,5)

        In other words, God has known, Lucifer, the Devil that had been fallen from heaven because of his sin would bring forth sin unto man to be created in the earth. That’s the reason why God had planned to send his only begotten Son in the name of Jesus as the Lamb of God which take away the sin of the world. Prophet Isaiah testified of this:

 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”(Isa. 14:12)

        Apostle John also testified of the Devil:

“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”(1John 3:8)

Apostle Paul made the same testimony of the Devil:

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”(Heb. 2:14,15)

        Yeah! As the gospel of Christ, the death of Jesus Christ, and his burial, and his resurrection were to destroy sin and death and curse sown by the Devil so that God may give the salvation unto all men in the earth.

        When Jesus died on the cross, the veil in the temple of God was torn in two pieces from the top to the bottom. The torn veil is the body of Jesus Christ torn for us. Apostle Paul testified unto the Hebrews saying, “By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;”(Heb. 10:20)

Since then, whosoever believes on the death of Jesus Christ and his resurrection for his sins is to receive the eternal life entering the most high place that is the presence of God through his body that was torn.

        When the body of Jesus Christ was torn, and the veil was torn in two piece, at the same time, the door of heaven was opened that was blocked because of the enmity with God. Jesus said, the door to heaven shall be opened when he dies to take away the sin of the world, and rise again from the dead:

 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”(John 10:7-11)

        King David foresaw Jesus Christ in the Spirit that should appear to die for his sin after thousand years passes by; and he believed that he was not going to hell through the Christ that he was waiting for. He also believed, his Holy One that is Christ not see corruption either. He testified of his vision saying,

 “Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.”(Ps. 16:9-11)

        He also testified of his only hope that should to receive in the day of resurrection of his body:

 “From men which are thy hand, O Lord, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.”(Ps. 17:14,15)

        Multitudes of Christians that had been sleeping in Christ in the same hope had the same hope to be changed as Christ in the day of Christ when he appears in the air. As a representative of them, Apostle John testified of the hope of Christians, and how they are supposed to live in the present world:

 “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”(1John 3:2,3)

        After the Lord Jesus Christ rose again from the dead, he stayed for forty days to speak of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. Luke, the writer of the book of Acts testified saying,

“To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:”(Acts 1:3)

        And being assembled together with the apostles, Jesus commended them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which they had heard of him. He also said, they shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. Then, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom of God?; they understood, Israel was to be restored as a kingdom through king Jesus. But Jesus said unto them, it is not for them to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in his own power. He continued to say unto them, ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon them; and they shall be witnesses unto him both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of this earth. The things that they were to testify the death of the Lord Jesus Christ and his resurrection so that many people may be able to enter the kingdom of God putting the restoration of Israel in the power of God.

        Jesus spoke the things pertaining to the kingdom of God to let them know the purpose of his death and resurrection is to establish his kingdom in heaven and earth without sin and death and curses. Nicodemus, one of the religious leaders of Israel visited Jesus, he said unto him,

 “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God…. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”(John 3:3,5,6)

        Yeah! The will of God to be fulfilled through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is as Apostle Paul testified unto the saints of the Ephesians,

 “That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:”(Eph. 1:10)

        For the last two thousand years, the multitudes of Christians have received the Lord Jesus Christ through faith to be born again of the Spirit, and their spirit and souls have entered the kingdom of God in heaven. And they shall appear with Christ in the air in the day of Christ; and their body shall be resurrected clothed with immortality and incorruption to receive their inheritance in the Millennium kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ as much as they had done for the Lord. And in the body of Christians, the Lord Jesus Christ who resurrected two thousand years ago is dwelling so that the spiritual kingdom of God is present within them. Apostle Paul testified of the born again Christians whether they sleep or live:

 “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”(1Thes. 4:14-18)

       Yeah! Unto us, the born again Christians, the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is no more the event of the past, for his resurrection is already present in us. Whosoever has the spiritual kingdom of God is present within shall be resurrected of his body to be changed like Jesus when the Christ appears in the air in the day of Christ.

And the body of sin is legally dead on the cross with Christ. Apostle Paul testified of this:

 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me…. Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”(Gal. 2:20, Col. 1:25-27)
