금주의 묵상: 시편 12:1-12

본문: 예레미야 5:1-9

제목: 마지막 때에 교회들에게 주시는 경고의 메시지

       하나님께서 그의 택한 이스라엘 백성들이 약속의 땅에 들어가서 행한 범죄에 대하여 선지자들을 통하여 주신 경고의 메시지는 오늘날 마지막 때에 진리를 떠나 세상과 타협하여 물질을 섬기는 교회들에 대한 경고이기도 한 것입니다. 사도 바울은 “무엇이든지 전에 기록된 것은 우리의 교훈을 위하여 기록된 것이니 이는 성경이 주는 인내로써 소망을 지니게 하려 함이니라.”(롬 15:4)고 증거했습니다.

        오늘 우리에게 주신 말씀은 하나님께서 범죄하여 하나님을 떠난 이스라엘 백성들을 향한 두 번째 경고의 말씀입니다. 하나님께서는 범죄한 이스라엘 민족을 향하여 경고하실 때에, “오 야곱의 집아, 이스라엘 집의 모든 족속들아 너희는 주의 말씀을 들으라.”(렘 2:4)는 말씀으로 시작하여 그들에게 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님께서는 먼저 그들의 조상, 즉 이집트로부터 나와 약속의 땅에 들어갔던 그들의 조상들에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다. 그때 그들의 조상들은 하나님을 떠나 허무한 것들을 쫒아 행하여 허무하게 되었다고 말씀하셨습니다. 그들은 심지어 그들을 이집트 땅에서 인도해 내시어 광야를 통과하게 하시고 사막의 구덩이 땅을, 가뭄과 죽음의 그림자의 땅을, 아무도 통과하지 않은 땅과 아무도 거하지 않는 땅을 통과하게 하신 주께서 어디 계신가?라고도 말하지 않을 정도로 하나님을 완전히 잊어버렸다고 말씀하셨습니다. 또한 그들은 그들을 윤택한 땅으로 인도하여 그곳의 열매와 그곳의 선함을 먹게 하였으나 그들이 약속의 땅에 들어와서는 하나님께서 주신 약속의 땅을 더럽혔고 하나님께서 그들에게 상속하신 땅을 가증한 것으로 만들었다고 말씀하셨습니다. 그들의 제사장들 마저 “주께서 어디 계신가?”라고 말하지 아니하였으며, 법, 즉 하나님의 말씀을 다루는 자들 역시 하나님이 누구신지도 알지 못하였으며 목자들도 하나님을 거역하여 범죄하였으며 선지자들은 바알을 힘입어 예언하였고 이롭지 못한 것들을 따라 행하였다고 말씀하셨습니다(렘 2:2-9).

        기가 막히신 하나님께서는 이방 나라들에 가서 열심히 살펴보고 어느 민족이 자기들의 신들을 바꾼 적이 있는지 보라고 말씀하시기까지 하셨습니다. 다른 이방 민족들은 신들이 아닌 것들을 절대로 다른 신들과 바꾸지 않고 열심히 섬기고 있는데 나의 백성은 그들의 영광을 유익하지 못한 것과 바꾸었다고 말씀하셨습니다. 심지어 하나님께서는 하늘들을 향해 말씀하셨습니다 “오 너희 하늘들아, 이 일에 놀랄지니라. 심히 부끄러워할지니라. 너희는 극심하게 황폐할지니라. 주가 말하노라.” 다시 말해서 하늘들로 하여금 문을 닫고 황폐하게 되어 그 황폐함이 이스라엘 백성들에게 임하게 하라고 명령하신 것입니다. 또한 하늘들이 그들에게 황폐함을 부으라고 명령하신 이유에 대하여 분명하게 말씀하셨습니다:”이는 내 백성이 두 가지 악을 범하였음이니, 즉 그들이 생명수의 근원인 나를 버렸음이요, 또 물통들을 만든 것인데 물을 저장하지 못할 깨진 물통이라.”(렘 2:10-13).

        오늘 우리에게 주신 본문 말씀 가운데 하나님께서는 이스라엘 백성들에게 두 번째로 경고의 메시지를 주셨습니다. 다시 말해서 그들을 용서하실 수 없는 이유에 대하여 말씀하신 것입니다: “너희는 예루살렘의 거리를 여기저기 달려서 이제 보고 알며, 거기 넒은 곳에서 찾으라. 만일 너희가 한 사람이라도 찾을 수 있다면, 공의를 행하고 진리를 구하는 누군가가 있다면, 내가 그 성읍을 용서하리라.”(렘 5:1)

        하나님께서는 그들은 말로만 하나님께서 살아계신다고 섬긴다고 말하고는 있지만, 그들은 거짓되이 맹세하는 자들이라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그들이 기도할 때에는 “주의 눈이 진실에 있지 않나이까?”라고 고백은 하는데 그들은 진실하신 하나님을 모욕하고 있다고 말씀하셨습니다. 그 이유에 대하여, 주께서 그들을 치셨을지라도 그들이 슬퍼하지 아니하였으며 주께서 그들을 소멸시켰을지라도 그들이 바로잡히기를 거부했으며. 오히려 그들은 그들의 얼굴들을 바위보다도 더 굳게하여 돌아오기를 거부했다고 말씀하셨던 것입니다(렘 5:1-3)

        하나님께서는 마침내 그들에 대한 심판의 메시지를 주셨습니다:’이러한데 내가 어찌 너를 용서할 수 있겠느냐? 네 자식들은 나를 버렸고 신들이 아닌 것들로 맹세하였도다. 내가 그들을 배불리 먹일 때 그들은 간음하고 창녀들의 집들에 떼지어 모였도다. 그들은 마치 아침에 잘 먹인 말들 같아서각기 자기 이웃의 아내를 쫒아 부르짖는도다. 주가 말하노라. 내가 이 일을 감찰하지 아니하겠느냐? 내 혼이 이 같은 민족에게 복수하지 아니하겠느냐?”(렘 5:7-9)

         사도 바울은 앞으로 마지막 때 하나님의 교회들이 배교한 후에 그리스도의 날(휴거의 날)이 오고, 동시에 멸망의 아들인 적그리스도가 이 땅에 나타나게 될 것이라고 증거했습니다:”형제들아, 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 오심과, 그 앞에 우리가 함께 모이는 일에 관하여 이제 너희에게 간구하노니, 영으로나 또는 우리에게 받았다고 하는 편지로나 그리스도의 날(휴거의 날)이 가까웠다고 마음이 쉽게 흔들리거나 두려워해서는 안될 것이라. 아무도 너희를 미혹하지 못하게 하라. 이는 먼저 배교하는 일이 이르지 않고서는 그 날이 오지 아니함이라. 그는 대적하는 자며, 또 하나님이라 불리는 모든 것과 숭배받는 대상 위에 자신을 높여 하나님의 성전에 앉아 하나님처럼 보여 자신을 하나님이라고 하느니라.”(살후 2;1-4)

        이 때 하나님께서는 한 이레(7년)동안 그들의 하나님이신 주 예수 그리스도를 믿지 않은 유대인들과 거듭나지 않은 교회의 종교인들을 심판하시는 날들이 될 것입니다. 하나님을 섬기지 않고 정욕을 따라 행하며 생수의 근원인 하나님의 말씀을 버린 유대인들과 타락한 교회들이 한꺼 번에 심판받는 날들이 될 것입니다. 마지막 때의 이스라엘 백성들과 교회들은 옛날 이스라엘 백성들이 간음하고 창녀의 집에 때지어 모인 것처럼, 마지막 때 교회들이 세상과 세상에 있는 것들을 사랑함으로써 간음하고 사탄의 신부인 창녀교회에 떼지어 모여 다른 신들을 자신들의 신이라 인정하면서 WCC로 떼지어 모이는 것을 봅니다.

        사도 베드로는 미자막 때 교회들에게 나타나는 일에 대하여 분명하게 경고했습니다: “그러나 백성 가운데도 거짓 선지자들이 있었던 것처럼 너희 가운데도 거짓 교사들이 있으이라. 그들은 저주받은 이단들을 비밀리에 끌어들여서 자기들을 사신 주를 부인하기까지 하며, 급격한 파멸을 스스로 불러들이느니라. 또한 많은 사람들이 그들의 파멸의 길을 따르리니 그들로 인하여 진리의 길이 비방을 받을 것이라. 그들은 탐욕을 품고 지어 낸 말로 너희에게서 이득을 취하리니, 이제 그들의 심판은 예로부터 지체하지 않으며 그들의 멸망은 졸지 아니하느니라.”(벧후 2:1-3)

        주 예수 그리스도께서 한 번 죽으심으로써 흘리신 보혈 외에는 그 어떤 것도 그 어떤 종교도 사람의 양심 속에 있는 악한 죄들을 씻어 제거할 수 없는데(히 9:14), 구원을 위해서 주님의 보혈만이 아니고 사람의 의를 주장하여 하나님의 피를 모독하는 이단들이 얼마나 많은지 설명할 필요조차 없는 것입니다. 진리를 믿는다는 기독교들까지도 주님께서 한 번 죽으심으로써 믿는 자들의 혼을 거룩하게 하셨다는 것(히 10:10)을 믿지 않으며, 또한 그리스도께서 한 번 의 속죄제를 영원히 드린 후 하나님의 보좌 오른편에 앉으셨고, 그분께서 한 번의 제사로써 거룩하게 된 자들, 즉 그분을 믿어 거룩하게 된 자들을 영원히 온전케 하신 것(히 10:12-14)을 믿지 않는 시대가 된 것입니다.

        사도 베드로는 하나님께서 행하시는 엄중한 심판에 대하여 증거할 때에, 하나님께서는 죄를 지은 천사들조차 아끼지 않으시고 지옥에 던져서 흑암의 사슬에 내어주어 심판 때까지 가두어두셨으며, 또 옛 세상을 아끼지 아니하시고 그 당시 하나님의 눈에서 은혜를 찾았던 단 한 사람과 그의 가족을 제외하시고 그 당시 천 년 동안 헤아릴 수 없는 수많은 경건치 않은 사람들을 한 사람도 남기지 아니하시고 모두 홍수로 쓸어버리셨다고 증거했습니다. 하나님께서는 노아의 가족으로부터 다시 인류를 번성하게 하셔서 70억에 이르는 사람들이 지면에 살게 하신 것입니다. 뿐만 아니라 소돔과 고모라 성읍들을 유황불로 재가 되게 하셔서 후세에 경건치 않게 살 자들에게 본으로 삼으셨다고 증거했습니다.

      로스엔젤레스를 포함하여 지금 우리가 살고 있는 세상은 이미 소돔과 고모라의 성읍보다도 더 악한 세상이 된 것입니다. 오직 주님의 오심을 기다리는 거듭난 하나님의 자녀들만이 옛날 소돔에 살면서 그 사악한 자들의 음란한 행실로 인하여 고통 당하던 롯처럼 고통 중에 기도하고 있는 것입니다.

       하나님께서는 선지자 에스겔을 통하여 그 당시 이스라엘 백성들의 죄악이 소돔과 고모라 보다도 더 심했다고 말씀하셨습니다: “보라, 이것이 네 자매 소돔의 죄악이니 지만과 양식의 충분함이라. 게으름의 풍성함이 그녀와 그녀의 딸들 안에 있고그녀가 가난한 자와 궁핍한 자의 손에 기운을 돋우어 주지 아니하였도다. 또 그들은 교만하였고 내 앞에서 가증한 짓(소돔이)을 행하였기에 내가 잘 보고 그들을 제거하였느니라.”(겔 16:49,50)

         오늘날 마지막 때의 교회들이 어떤 짓들을 하는지에 대하여 성령께서는 사도 바울을 통하여 예언하게 하셨고 또한 그대로 이루어진 것을 우리 눈으로 보고 있는 것입니다: “이제 성령께서 분명히 말씀하시나이, 마지막 때에 어떤 자들이 믿음에서 떠나 미혹하는 영들과 마귀들의 교리들을 따르리라. 그들 자신의 양심이 화인을 맞아 위선으로 거짓을 말하리라. 혼인을 금하고(카톨릭) 음식을 삼가라고(안식교) 명하리니, 이 음식은 하나님께서 진리를 믿고 아는 사람들이 감사함으로 받도록 지으신 것이라. 하나님께서 지으신 것은 모두 좋은 것이요, 감사함으로 받으면 아무 것도 버릴 것이 없으니, 이는 하나님의 말씀과 기도로써 거룩하게 됨이라….또 이것을 알라. 마지막 날들에 아주 어려운 때가 오리라. 사람들이 자기를 사랑하고 돈을 사랑하며, 자긍하고 교만하며, 하나님을 모독하고 부모에게 불순종하며, 감사하지 아니하고 거룩하지 아니하며 무정하고 화해하지 아니하며, 모함하고 절제하지 못하며, 사납고 선한 것을 좋아하지 아니하며 배반하고 분별이 없으며, 자만하고 쾌락을 사랑하는 것이 하나님을 사랑하는 것보다 더하며 경건의 모양은 있으나 경건의 능력은 부인하리니, 이런 자들에게서 돌아서라.”(딤전 4:1-5, 딤후 3:1-5)

       오늘 우리에게 주신 말씀들을 통하여 우리는 주님께서 더 이상 거듭난 자녀들을 하늘나라로 데려가시고 이 세상을 심판하시는 일을 늦추실 이유가 없음을 깨닫게 됩니다. 이제야말로 영적인 잠에서 깨어나서 죽은자들로부터 일어나야 할 때인 것입니다. 이렇게 할 때에 그리스도께서 주시는 성령의 기름부으심 안에서 주시는 말씀의 빛을 받아 어두운 죄악 세상에 빛을 비춰야 하는 것입니다. 뿐만 아니라 어두운 교회들에게 생명의 빛을 비춰야 하는 것입니다. 또한 우리는 우리 자신이 얼마나 정확히 행하고 있는지 주의하면서 미련한 사람같이 행하지 말고 현명한 자같이 행해야 하는 것입니다. 또한 이제는 썩어질 육신의 일을 줄이고 시간을 내어서 우리 몸을 산 제물로 드려 주님께서 의의 병기로 쓰실 수 있도록 해야 할 때가 된 것입니다. 주님의 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하지 못하면 어리석게 될 수밖에 없음을 알고 정신을 차리고 썩지 않고 영원히 남게 되는 주님의 일에 헌신해야 하는 것입니다(엡 5:14-17). 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: psalms 12:1-12

Main scripture: Jeremiah 5:1-9

Subject: Warning message given to the churches in the end time

        The warning message through the prophets against sins of the Israel, chosen people that they committed in the promised land is also applied as the warning message against the churches that follows the Mammon through compromising with the world. Of this, Apostle Paul testified:

“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”(Rom. 15:1)

         The word given to us today is the second warning message toward the people of Israel that departed the words of God through sinning against God. When the LORD God warned them, he said unto them, “Hear ye the word of the Lord, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel:”(Jer. 2:4)

God mentioned about their ancestors that entered into the promised land out of Egypt. He continued to say unto them:

What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

Neither said they, Where is the Lord that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?

And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.

The priests said not, Where is the Lord? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.

Wherefore I will yet plead with you, saith the Lord, and with your children’s children will I plead.(Jer. 2:2-9)

          Extremely getting angry with them, the LORD God even asked unto them, saying, Has a nation change their gods, which are yet no gods? But my people have changed their glory for that which not profit. In other word, other Gentile nations have never changed their gods that are no gods, rather have worshipping their gods with passion, but the people of Israel has forsaken their glorious God to serve the gods of the Gentiles that is no profit unto them. The LORD God spoke unto the heavens saying, “Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD.”

In other word, the LORD God asked heavens to close their doors so that the desolate may be poured unto the Israel.

And of the reason why the LORD God asked heaven to pour the desolated unto the Israel, God clearly spoke unto them saying,

“For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.”(Jer. 2:13)

         We hear the second warning message unto the people of Israel in the main scripture. In other word, he spoke about the reason why he was not willing to forgive them saying,

Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.”(Jer. 5:1)

         The LORD God testified of them saying, “Though they say, the LORD liveth; surely they say falsely”

The LORD God continued to say against them, even though they say in their prayer, O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? But they actually were insulting their God. Of the reason, even though the LORD God has stricken them, but they have not grieved; and God has consumed them, but they have refuses to receive correction; they even have made their faces harder than a rock; and they refused to return (Jer. 5:1-3)

        Finally, the LORD God gave them the message of judgment saying,

“How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have

forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses.

They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbour’s wife.

Shall I not visit for these things? saith the Lord: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?”(Jer. 5:7-9)

          Apostle Paul testified saying, the day of Christ(the day of Rapture) shall come after the churches of God fall away from God, and the son of perdition that is the antichrist shall appear to the world:

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”(2Thes. 2:1-4)

       Thereafter, for seven years, the days of judgment shall come upon the Jews that not believed in the Lord Jesus Christ that is their Messiah, God as well as many religious people that not born again of the Spirit in the churches of God. There shall be the days for the judgment against the Jews that have not served God, but have forsaken their God, the fountain of the living waters together with corrupted churches. As the people of Israel committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots houses, the churches of God in the end time are committing adultery loving the word as well as the things in the world; and they also are assembling to the church of the Harlot that is the bride of Satan; and finally they are assembling themselves by troops at WCC saying other gods of the Gentile nation are the same gods as their God.

        Apostle Peter warned against the churches in the end time saying,

“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.”(2Pet. 2:1-3)

       Even though only the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ shed through his one time death can purify the wicked sins in the conscience of man; nothing else in the other religions can do (Heb. 9:14), so many cults have appeared to blasphemy the blood of God, the Lord Jesus Christ saying, not only the blood of Jesus Christ, but also the righteousness of man for salvation. Even the churches of God are not willing to believe that the Lord Jesus Christ sanctified them that believe on him through his one time death(Heb. 10:10) even though they are saying, they believe the words of the truth; they also not believe that after the Lord Jesus Christ had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God. And for by one offering he has perfected for ever them that are sanctified(Heb. 10:12-14).

            Apostle Peter testified of the severe judgment of God saying, God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; and he spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly that had been born for thousand years. Since then, God has multiplied the people through the family of Noah now reaching seven Billion of population living on the face of the earth. He also testified saying, turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly.

          The present world including Los Angeles where we are living are more wicked than Sodom and Gomorrah. Only born again children of God are praying waiting for the coming of the Lord Jesus, dwelling therein among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed their righteous souls from day to day with unlawful deeds of the world. .

          The LORD God spoke unto the people of Israel through prophet Ezekiel saying, their sins are more wicked than Sodom and Gomorrah:

“Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.”(EZ. 16:49,50)

           The Holy Ghost made Apostle Paul prophesy of what kind of evil things to be done by the churches in the end time to come; and now we are seeing day by day that his word has been fulfilled before our eyes:

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer…..This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”(1Tim. 4:1-5, 2Tim. 3:1-5)

       Through the words given to us today, there may any reason why our Lord Jesus Christ delay the day when he takes his born again children of God to heavenly kingdom, and pour the judgment unto the present world. This is the very time when we have to awake from spiritual sleep, and arise from the dead. Then Christ will give us the light through the anointment of the Spirit so that we may be able to shine the light of life unto the world in the darkness. And we have to examine ourselves to see whether we are walking correctly not as fools, but as wise. And this is the right time when we not present ourselves unto the things that is corruptible, but redeem our time to present our body as living sacrifice so that God may use us the instruments of the righteousness. We are to be foolish unless we discern the will of God; and we have to be awaken spiritually to dedicate unto the work of the Lord that shall be not in vain, but be enduring forever (Eph. 5:14-17). Amen! Hallelujah!
