금주의 묵상: 시편 73:1-28

본문: 시편 37:1-40

제목: 주를 기뻐하며 신뢰하고 모든 길을 주께 맡기는 자가 받을 유업

         하나님께서 다윗을 성령으로 기름부으셔서 자신과 그의 백성 이스라엘과 나아가서는 오늘날 주 예수 그리스도를 믿어 하나님의 자녀들이 된 독특한 백성들이 받게 될 영원한 유업에 대하여 예언하게 하셨습니다.

         다윗은 개인적으로는 악신이 들린 사울왕이 끊임없이 그를 죽이려고 따라다녔습니다. 그는 그가 사망의 골짜기로 다녔다고 고백하였으며 그러나 그가 두려워하지 않은 것은 주께서 그와 함께 하심이라고 증거했습니다(시 23:3).

하나님께서는 마침내 사울을 죽게 하심으로써 그를 풀같이 베어지게 하셨으며푸른 나믈처럼 말라지게 하셨습니다. 그러나 다윗은 한 때 기름부움 받았던 사울을 미워하거나 시기하지 않았으며 온전히 하나님의 손에 맡겼습니다.

          다윗의 삶 속에서 그와 함께 동행하셨던 하나님께서는 다윗을 본보기로 삼으셔서 그 당시 이스라엘 백성들과 오늘날 그리스도인들에게 권면하고 있습니다: “주를 신뢰하고 선을 행하라. 그리하면 네가 땅에 거할 것이요, 진실로 그가 너를 먹이시리라. 또 주를 기뻐하라. 그리하면 그가 네 마음의 소원을 네게 주시리라. 너의 길을 주께 맡기고 또 그를 신뢰하라. 그리하면 그가 이루어 주시리라. 그가 네 의를 빛같이 가져오시며 네 공의를 대낮같이 가져오시리라. 주 안에서 쉬고 인내하며 그를 기다리라. 자기 길에서 번성하는 사람, 곧 악한 계책을 성사시키는 사람으로 인하여 초조해 하지 말라. 화를 그치고 노여움을 버리라. 결코 악을 행하려고 초조해 하지 말라. 행악자는 끊어질 것이나 주를 기다리는 자들은 땅(the earth)을 유업으로 받으리라.”(시 37:3-9)

            그렇습니다. 자신을 이어 이스라엘 왕이 될 다윗을 끊임없이 공격하던 악한 사울이 죽임을 당한 후에 다윗은 온 이스라엘을 통치하는 왕이 되었던 것입니다. 그 당시 이스라엘 왕은 온 땅을 유업으로 받은 것과 같은 통치권을 받은 것이었습니다.

              또한 이 세상을 육천 년 동안 통치해 온 악한 마귀는 이스라엘 백성들이 앞으로 이 땅을 차지하여 제사장 민족이 될 것을 미리 알고 지금도 끊임없이 그들을 죽이고 박해하고 있습니다. 그리고 조만간 자신이 사람으로 나타나 자신이 그리스도라고 속이면서 그의 정사들과 권세들을 사용하여 이스라엘 백성들을 이 땅에서 완전히 멸하려고 계획하고 있지만 그 역시 풀같이 베어질 것이며 푸른 나물처럼 말라지게 될 것입니다. 사도 요한은 앞으로 적그리스도에게 일어날 일을 성령 안에서 보고 증거했습니다:“그러나 그 짐승이 잡히고, 짐승 앞에서 기적들을 행하던 거짓 선지자도 그와 함께 잡혔으니 그는 짐승과 더불어 그 짐승의 표를 받은 자들과 그의 형상에게 경배한 자들을 속이던 자라. 이 둘이 유황으로 불타오르는 불못에 산 채로 던져지더라.”(계 19:20)

          뿐만 아니라 오늘날 성령으로 거듭난 하나님의 자녀들 역시 지난 이천 년 동안 이 세상 통치자로부터 끊임없이 미움과 박해를 받아온 것입니다. 예수께서는 이런 일이 일어날 것에 대하여 제자들에게 미리 말씀하셨습니다: “인자로 인하여 사람들이 너희를 미워하고, 그들의 동료들에게서 따돌리며, 욕하고, 너희의 이름을 악하다 하여 너희를 버릴 때 너희는 복이 있도다….만일 너희가 세상에 속한다면 세상은 자기 사람들을 사랑할 것이라. 그러나 너희는 세상에 속한 자가 아니요 내가 너희를 세상으로부터 선택하였느니라. 이로 인하여 세상이 너희를 미워하느니라”(눅 6:22, 요 15:19)

         주님께서는 자신 때문에 박해받는 사람들이 받을 상에 대하여 친히 말씀하셨습니다: “나로 인하여 사람들이 너희를 욕하고 박해하고, 거짓으로 꾸며 갖은 악한 말로 너희를 거슬러 말할 때에 너희에게 복이 있나니, 기뻐하고 크게 즐거워하라. 이는 하늘에서 너희의 상이 큼이라. 너희 앞서 있었던 선지자들도 그들을 이같이 박해하였느니라.”(마 5:11,12)

           사도 바울은 구원받은 하나님의 자녀들이 이 땅에 사는 동안 치러야 할 영적 전쟁과 이를 위하여 무장해야 하는 일에 대하여 에베소 교회 성도들에게 편지했습니다: “끝으로 나의 형제들아, 주 안에서와 그의 힘의 능력 안에서 강건하라. 너희는 마귀의 술책에 대항하여 설 수 있도록 하나님의 전신갑옷을 입으라. 이는 우리의 싸움이 혈과 육에 대항하는 것이 아니라 정사들과 권세들과 이 세상 어두움의 주관자들과 높은 곳들에 있는 영적 악에 대항하는 것이기 때문이니라. 그러므로 너희는 하나님의 전신갑옷을 입으라. 이는 너희가 악한 날에 저항할 수 있으며 또 모든 일을 다 이루기까지 서 있게 하기 위함이니라. 그러므로 서서 진리로 너희 허리띠를 두르고 의의 흉배를 붙이고 화평의 복음을 준비한 것으로 너희 발에 신고 모든 것 위에 믿음의 방패를 가짐으로써 능히 너희가 악한 자의 모든 불붙은 화살들을 끌 수 있을 것이라. 또한 구원의 투구와 성령의 칼, 곧 하나님의 말씀을 가지고 모든 기도와 간구로 항상 성령 안에서 기도하고 이를 위하여 모든 성도들을 위해 모든 인내와 간구로 깨어 있으라.”(엡 6:10-18)

           또한 사도 바울은 목회자 디모데에 주님을 위하여 모든 고난을 견뎌내는 자에게 주실 상에 대하여 증거했습니다:

“그러므로 내가 택함받은 자들을 위하여 모든 것을 참음은 그들도 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 구원을 영원한 영광과 함께 얻게 하려 함이라.이 말씀은 신실하도다. 우리가 그와 함께 죽었으면 또한 그와 함께 살리라. 우리가 참으면 우리도 그와 함께 다스릴 것이요 우리가 그를 부인하면 그도 우리를 부인할 것이라.”(딤후 2:10-12) 사도 바울은 주님께서 므나 비유에서 친히 말씀하신 것처럼(눅 19:11-27) 주님께서 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주로 이 세상에 오셔서 모든 민족들을 심판하신 후 세우실 그의 왕국에서 열 고을 다스릴 자들과 다섯 고을 다스릴 자들과 그리고 통치권이 없는 자들이 있을 것에 대해 디모데에게 증거한 것입니다.

          그러므로 다윗왕은 성령 안에서 앞으로 이 땅을 차지할 사람들에 대하여 증거한 것입니다. 그는 계속해서, “행악자는 끊어질 것이나 주를 기다리는 자들은 땅(the earth)을 유업으로 받으리라.”고 다시 한 번 증거했습니다. 그는 또다시 말하기를, “잠시 후면 악인이 없어지리니 정녕, 네가 그가 있던 곳을 열심히 찾을지라도 그것이 없을 것이라. 그러나 온유한 자들은 땅을 유업으로 받을 것이요 화평의 풍요함으로 기뻐하리로다.”라고 증거했습니다. 다윗은 다시 한 번 성령 안에서 하나님으로부터 복받은 자들에 대하여 증거했습니다: “그로부터 복을 받은 자는 땅(the earth)을 유업으로 받을 것이요, 그로부터 저주를 받는 자들은 끊어지리라.”

주님께서도 제자들에게 온유한 자들이 받을 유업에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다: “온유한 자들은 복이 있나니, 그들이 땅(the earth)을 유업으로받을 것임이요.‘(마 5:5)

         그렇습니다! 주님의 오심을 믿고 기다리는 자들은 이러한 소망 가운데 기뻐할 수 있는 것입니다. 손 너비만한 이생의 삶이 끝나고 주님께서 오실 때 받을 유업을 기다리는 자들에게는 어떤 고난도 기쁨으로 인내할 수 있는 것입니다. 세상 사람들도 자신들이 이루고자 하는 일을 굳게 믿는 사람들은 어느누구도 보장하지 않는 가운데서도 모든 고난을 견디다가 이루는 것을 볼 수 있는데, 하나님께서 일곱 번 말씀하심으로써 맹세하신 약속의 말씀들을 믿고 그분을 기다리는 사람들이야말로 죽음까지도 견딜 수 있는 것입니다.

            옛날 선지자들은 앞으로 마지막 때 주님께서 이 세상을 심판하시고 그분의 왕국을 세우시는 것을 성령 안에서 보고 예언했습니다. 그러므로 성령 안에서 모든 것을 본 그들은 모든 고난들을 이겨낼 수 있었던 것입니다. 선지자 하박국은 마지막 때가 될 때에 주 예수 그리스도께서 오셔서 이 세상을 심판하시는 장면을 성령 안에서 보고 두렵고 떨림 가운데 증거했습니다:

“산들이 주를 보고 떨었으며 물의 넘침이 지나갔으니 깊음이 그의 음성을 내며 그의 손을 높이 들었나이다. 해와 달이 아직도 그들의 처소에 멈춰 섰으니 그들이 주의 화살들의 빛과 주의 번쩍이는 창의 광채로 나갔나이다. 주께서는 분개 가운데 땅을 활보하셨으며 분노 가운데서 이방을 밟으셨나이다. 주께서는 주의 백성의 구원을 위하여, 곧 주의 기름부음받은 자와 함께하는 구원을 위하여 나가시어 그 기초를 끝까지 드러내심으로써 악인의 집에서 그 머리에 상처를 입히셨나이다. 셀라. 주께서는 그의 막대기들로 그의 마을들의 우두머리를 찌르셨나이다. 그들이 회오리바람처럼 나와서 나를 흩으려 하였나이다. 그들의 즐거움은 가난한 자를 몰래 삼키는 것이었나이다. 주께서 주의 말들을 타시고 바다, 곧 큰 물 무더기를 통과하셨나이다. 내가 듣자 내 배가 떨리며, 내 입술이 그 음성에 떠니 썩음이 내 뼈 속으로 들어왔으며 내가 내 안에서 떨었으니, 이는 고난의 날에 내가 쉬고자 하였음이라. 그가 백성에게로 올라오면 그의 군대와 더불어 침략하리라.”(합 3:10-16)

          이 엄청난 광경을 목도한 하박국은 정신을 차리고 두려움과 떨림 가운데 회개하면서 고백했습니다: “비록 무화과나무가가 무성치 않으며 포도나무들에 열매가 없고 올리브나무의 수고가 헛것이 되고 밭들이 양식을 내지 못하며 우리들에 양떼가 끊어지고 외양간들에 소떼가 없을지라도 나는 여전히 주를 기뻐할 것이요, 나는 내 구원의 하나님을 즐거워하리라. 주 하나님은 나의 힘이시니 그가 나의 발을 암사슴들의 발 같게 하실 것이요, 그가 나로 하여금 나의 높은 곳으로 걷게 하시리로다.”(합 3:17-19)

           그렇습니다! 모든 성경말씀들은 성령으로 거듭난 하나님의 자녀들이 읽고 들을 때에 생생하게 환상처럼 볼 수 있는 것입니다. 그러므로 밤에 찾아온 니고데모에게 주님께서, “진실로, 진실로 내가 너에게 말하노니, 사람이 거듭나지 아니하면 하나님의 나라(왕국)를 볼 수 없느니라.”(요 3:3)고 말씀하신 것입니다. 성령으로 다시 태어나서 성령 안에서 앞으로 일어날 일들을 말씀들을 통하여 확실하게 보게 될 때에 이 세상 일로 인해 낙심하지 않고 오직 주님께서 오실 때를 위하여 준비하는 삶을 살면서 주님만을 기뻐함으로 능력을 받아(느 8:10) 모든 고난을 이길 수 있는 것입니다. 또한 주님을 기뻐하게 될 때에 주님께서 주시는 소원을 가지고(시 37:4) 주님의 일을 할 수 있는 것입니다. 사도 바울도 이에 대하여 빌립보교회 성도들에게 증거했습니다: “그러므로 나의 사랑하는 자들아, 너희가 항상 복종했던 것처럼 내가 있을 때뿐만 아니라 내가 없는 지금도 더욱더 두려움과 떨림으로 너희 구원을 온전히 이루라, 이는 너희 안에서 역사하시는 분은 하나님이시기 때문이니 그분은 너희로 그분의 선한 기쁘심에 따라 뜻을 두고 행하게 하시느니라. 모든 일에 불평이나 다툼이 없도록 하라. 이는 너희 하나님의 아들들이 흠 없고 순전하여 비뚤어지고 변질된 민족 가운데서 책망받지 않게 하려 함이니 너희는 빛들로서 세상에 비추는 자들이라.”(빌 2:12-1). 그렇습니다! 이스라엘 백성에게는 새 땅에서 영원한 제사장 민족이 되는 유업을 주셨으며, 거듭난 하나님의 교회에게는 하늘에 있는 새 예루살렘에 살면서 땅을 주님과 함께 영원히 통치하는 유업을 주신 것입니다. 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 73:1-28

Main scripture: Psalms 37:1-40

Subject: The inheritance for them that delight of the Lord, and trust in him in all ways.

             The LORD God anointed David, and let him prophesy of the eternal inheritance for him as well as the people of Israel and the children of God that became the peculiar people through Jesus Christ.

            David, individually had been pursued by king Saul without ceasing who was possessed by the evil spirit. He continued to pass through the valley of death, but never fear, for the LORD was with him always (Ps. 23:3).

The LORD God cut down Saul unto death like grass, and let him wither as the green herb. But David had never hated Saul or envied him. for he was anointed by the LORD God before, but he put him in the hands of God.

            The LORD God was walking with David; and God made him a sample to encourage the people of Israel as well as the Christians nowadays:

“Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit

the earth.”(Ps. 37:3-9)

             Yeah! After wicked Saul was put to death after he had chased to attack David without ceasing, he became the king of Israel to rule over the whole nation of Israel. In other word, his ruling power over the Israel was as the inheritance of the whole earth.

              The wicked Devil has been ruling the present world for six thousand years; he has been persecuting the people of Israel unto death continuously, knowing them to occupy the earth to be the people of priest in the future. And sooner or later, he shall be manifested in flesh in the form of man to deceive the world saying himself the Christ. And he has been planning to destroy the people of Israel form the earth using his Principality and the Power. But he also shall be cut off like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Apostle John saw the thing to be happening fir Antichrist in the Spirit, and testified:

“And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”(Rev. 19:20)

           Not only the people of Israel, but also the born again Christian that are the children of God have been hated and persecuted by the prince of the world continuously. Jesus spoke unto his disciples, such things shall be coming to pass unto them saying, “Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake….. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”(Luke 6:22, John 15:19)

              The Lord Jesus also testified of the reward for them that shall be persecuted for the sake of him:

“Blessed are ye when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. ..Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”(Matt. 5:11,12)

           Apostle Paul wrote unto the saints in the church of Ephesians of the spiritual warfare as well as armaments for it in the present world:

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”(Eph. 6:10-19)

              Apostle Paul testified of the reward for them that endure all the sufferings for the sake of the Lord unto pastor Timothy:

“Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:

If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:”(2Tim. 2:10-12)

              Knowing the parable of pound(mina) that was spoken to the disciples in the book of Luke(Luke 19:11-27), Apostle Paul testified unto Timothy of them that shall reign over ten cities, and for some others five cities, and for some one no reigning power at all in the Millennium kingdom of Jesus Christ that shall be established after the Lord Jesus come to the earth in the name of King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, and judge the all nations.

            In the main passage, David testified in the Spirit of them that shall occupy the earth. He continued to testify again saying, “For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”

David testified again of them that shall be blessed by God saying, “For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.”

Jesus also testified of them that shall inherit the earth saying,

“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”(Matt. 5:5)

            Yeah! Whosoever is waiting for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith is able to delight himself of the Lord in such hope. Whosoever is waiting for the inheritance upon the coming of the Lord when the present life as an handbreadth is over is able to endure any kind of suffering with joy. Even natural men that are non Christians are enduring themselves in the midst of all kinds of suffering with their confidence to achieve their goal, even though no one support them at all. Whosoever believe the words of God that are spoken seven times by God, and wait upon him is able to endure even unto death.

            The ancient prophets saw the judgment of the LORD God in the Spirit as well as his kingdom in the earth to be established after the judgment prophesied. They could endure all the sufferings, for they saw the things to come. Prophet Habakkuk testified in fear and trembling seeing the scene of judgment of the Lord Jesus Christ in the end time in the Spirit:

“The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.

The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.

Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.

Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.

Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.

When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.”(Hab. 3:10-16)

            Upon seeing such a marvelous scene, he repented himself awakening his spirit, and confessed in fear and trembling:

“Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.”(Hab. 3:17-19)

              Yeah! The children of God born of the Spirit are able to see all the visions in the words of God, when they read them or hear. This is the reason why Jesus spoke unto Nicodemus saying, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”(John 3:3)

              When we are born again of the Spirit of God, and see the things that are coming to pass clearly, we are not to be discouraged, but to prepare for his coming, and to receive the strength through the joy of the Lord(Neh. 8:10), and to able to over come all the sufferings. And we shall receive the desire form God when we delight of the Lord; and we are able to do the works of the Lord. Apostle Paul testified unto the saints in Philippians of this:

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;”(Phil. 2:12-15)

              Yeah! The people of Israel has been given the inheritance to be the nation of priest in the New earth to come; and for the born again church of God, eternal reigning power over the earth with Christ Jesus dwelling in the New Jerusalem. Amen! Hallelujah!
