금주의 묵상: 시편 56:1-13

본문: 이사야 66:1-2

제목: 하나님께서 보살피시는 자

           본문 이사야서 66장은 하나님의 뜻이 이 지구상에 이루어지는 날에 대한 말씀입니다. 이때가 되면 하늘에 앉아계신 주 예수 그리스도께서 이 땅에 그의 발이 서시게 되는 때이며, 이 세상을 죄와 저주와 사망 가운데로 인도했던 마귀를 지하에 있는 끝없이 깊은 구렁으로 던져 천 년 동안 봉인한 후 마침내 마귀로 인해 쉬시지 못하셨던 주님께서 이 땅에 있는 보좌에 앉으셔서 안식하시는 때인 것입니다.

이 땅은 주님의 발판이기에 기도하며 찬양할 때에 우리는 주님의 발 앞에 무릎을 꿇는 것입니다.

     시편 기자는 이 날에 대하여 미리 예언했습니다:

“주께서 통치하시나니 백성은 떨 것이요, 그가 그룹들 사이에 앉으셨으니, 땅은 요동할지어다. 주께서는 시온(예루살렘)에서 위대하시며 그는 모든 백성 위에 높으시도다. 그들로 주의 위대하시고 두려우신 이름을 찬양하게 하소서. 이는 그의 이름이 거룩하심이니이다.”(시 99:1-3)

이 때가 되면 하나님이신 주 예수 그리스도께서 직접 이 세상을 통치하시기 위하여 하늘 보좌에 있는그룹들과 함께 이 땅에 오셔서 그의 보좌를 예루살렘 즉, 시온에 세우실 것입니다. 이 때에 땅은 요동할 것이며 이 세상 통치자들은 그 자리를 내놓게 될 것이며 주 예수 그리스도만이 온 땅을 통치하시는 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주가 되실 것입니다. 그분만이 위대하게 되실 것이며 그분은 더 이상 연약한 모습으로 죽으시는 분이 아니시고 두려움의 대상이 되실 것입니다.

유대인들에게 “아버지의 왕국이 임하시오며, 아버지의 뜻이 하늘에서와 같이 땅에서도 이루어지이다.”(마 6:10)라고 기도하라고 말씀하신 그 기도가 이 지구상에 이루어지게 될 것입니다.

           이 세상을 향한 하나님의 뜻은 우리에게 죄를 가져오고 저주를 가져올뿐만 아니라 죽게 만든 원수 마귀를 멸하시고(히 2:14, 요일 3:8) 저주받은 땅을 다시 회복하시고 영이 가난하고 항상 죄를 통회하고 하나님의 말씀에 떠는 자들만을 하늘과 땅에 살게 하시는 것입니다. 그러므로 주 예수 그리스도께서 이 세상을 심판하시려고 오실 때까지 이 세상은 죄와 사망과 저주가 끊이지 않을 것이며 소망도 없고 평안도 없는 삶의 연속인 것입니다. 세상 통치자들은 백성들에게 사막에 나타나는 신기루같은 거짓 평화와 거짓 소망을 심어줌으로써 사람들을 속이고 있지만 결국에 가서는 모든 것이 헛된 것으로 드러나게 될 것입니다. 미국이 주는 아메리칸 드림도 이제와서 또한 헛된 것으로 점차 드러나고 있는 것을 볼 수 있습니다. 점점 양극화가 극심해짐으로써 가난한 서민들은 한치도 앞을 볼 수 없을 정도로 두려움 가운데 살고 있는 것을 현실 속에서 보고 있는 것입니다.

         앞으로 자신의 왕국(나라)을 회복하시고 안식하시는 하나님께서 이 세상을 향하여 말씀하시고 있습니다:

그 모든 것들을 나의 손으로 지었으며, 그 모든 것들을 내가 이루었느니라. 주가 말하노라. 그러나 이러한 사람은 내가 보살피리니 곧 영이 가난하고 통회하고 내 말에 떠는 자라.”(사 66:2)

하나님께서는 하시는 모든 말씀들은 자신의 이름을 걸고 맹세하신 말씀이라고 성경은 증거하고 있습니다:

“오 주여, 주의 말씀은 영원히 하늘에 세워졌나이다…내가 주의 거룩한 전을 향하여 경배하고 주의 자애하심과 주의 진리를 인하여 주의 이름을 찬양하리니 이는 주께서 주의 말씀을 주의 모든 이름 위에 크게 하셨음이니이다…..오 주여, 지상의 모든 왕들이 주의 입의 말씀을 들을 때 주를 찬양하리이다.”(시 119:89; 138:2,4)

이 진리를 깨달은 다윗 왕은 이렇게 증거했습니다:

“하나님 안에서 내가 주의 말씀을 찬양하리니 내가 나의 신뢰를 하나님께 두나이다. 나는 육체가 내게 행할 수 있는 것을 두려워하지 아니하리이다…..하나님 안에서 내가 주의 말씀을 찬양하리니 주 안에서 내가 주의 말씀을 찬양하리이다. 내 신뢰를 하나님께 두었으니 나는 사람이 내게 행하는 것을 두려워하지 아니하리이다.(시 56:4,10,11)

솔로몬 왕도 하나님의 말씀만을 두려워하는 것이 지혜로움이라고 증거했습다:

“사람을 두려워하면 덫에 걸리나, 주를 신뢰하는 자는 누구나 안전하리라.”(잠 29:25)

         사도 바울도 시편 기자와 함께 거짓된 사람들을 절대로 믿어서는 안되며 오직 참되신 하나님의 말씀만을 신뢰해야 함에 대하여 증거했습니다: “내가 서둘러 말하기를 ‘모든 사람은 거짓말쟁이라.’ 하였도다 어떤 자들이 믿지 아니하였다면 어찌하겠느냐? 그들의 믿지 아니함이 하나님의 신실하심을 무효화 시키겠느냐? 결코 그럴 수 없느니라. 실로 하나님은 참되시나 사람은 모두 거짓말쟁이라, 기록된 바 ‘이는 주께서 주의 말씀에 의롭다 함을 얻으시고 판단받으실 때에 이기려 하심이라.’고 함과 같으니라.”(시 116:11, 롬 3:3,4)

         성경은 구원받지 못한 자연인들 안에 들어있는 죄악들에 대하여 증거함으로써 하나님의 말씀 외에는 그 어떤 사람들의 말도 믿어서는 안된다고 경고하고 있습니다:

“…유대인이나 이방인인들이나 다 죄 아래 있다고 우리가 이미 증거하였느니라. 기록된 바와 같으니 ‘의인은 없나니 없도다. 한 사람도 없도다. 모두가 탈선하여 함께 무익하게 되었으며 선을 행하는 자가 없으니 없도다 한 사람도 없도다. 그들의 목구멍은 열린 무덤이요, 그들이 자기 혀로는 속였으며 그들의 입술 아래는 독사의 독이 있고 그들의 입은 저주와 독설로 가득 차고 그들의 발은 피흘리는 데 빠른지라 파멸의 비참함이 그들의 길에 있고 그들은 평강의 길을 알지 못했으며 그들의 눈 앞에는 하나님을 두려워함이 없도다.”(롬 3:9-18)

           그렇습니다! 우리가 이 세상을 살아가면서 깨닫게 되는 중요한 한 가지는 이 세상에 아무도 믿을 사람이 없다는 것입니다. 심지어 부모조차도 믿음의 대상이 되지 못한다는 것을 많은 젊은이들이 경험하는 것을 듣습니다. 하나님께서는 선지자 이사야를 통해서 이에 대해서 말씀하셨습니다:

“여인이 자기의 젖먹는 아이를 잊을 수 있겠으며 자기 태에서 난 아들에게 동정하지 않겠느냐? 정녕 그들은 잊을지라도 나는 너를 잊지 아니할 것이라. 보라, 내가 너를 내 손바닥에 새겼으니 너의 성벽이 계속해서 내 앞에 있느니라.”(사 49:15,16)

이 말씀은 이스라엘 백성들이 하나님께서 그들을 버리셨고 그들을 잊으셨다고 말하는 것을 들으시고 하신 말씀이지만 또한 하나님의 자녀들 역시 버림받아 어렵고 비참한 환경에 처해 있을지라도 하나님께서는 그들의 이름을 잊지 않으시기 위하여 손바닥에 새겨놓으셨다고 위로하시는 것입니다.

               하나님께서는 회개하고 자신의 말씀에 떠는 사람들과 성령으로 거듭난 하나님의 자녀들을 보살펴주실 것이라고 약속하신 것입니다. 예수께서 산에 오르셔서 자신에게 나아오는 유대인들을 향하여 동일한 말씀을 하셨습니다: 영이 가난한 자들은 복이 있나니 천국(kingdom of heaven)이 저희 것임이요, 애통하는 자들은 복이 있나니, 그들이 땅(the earth)을 유업으로 받을 것임이요, 의에 굶주리고 목마른 자들은 복이 있나니, 그들이 배부를 것임이요.”(마 5:3-6)

             하나님께서 사도 바울을 통하여 그리스도의 은혜의 복음을 유대인들에게 전했을 때 그들이 외면하자 이방인에게로 간다고 말하면서 이방인들에게 전했을 때 구원받아 생명을 받은 많은 이방인들 역시 하나님의 말씀만을 신뢰해야 함을 깨닫고 그들 역시 하나님의 말씀을 찬양했다고 성경은 증거하고 있습니다: “주께서 우리에게 명하시기를 ‘내가 너(예수 그리스도)를 이방인의 빛으로 세웠으니 너는 땅 끝까지 구원을 베풀라.’ 하였음이라…이방인들이 이 말을 듣자 기뻐하며 주의 말씀을 찬양하였고 영원한 생명을 얻기로 정해진 자들은 다 믿더라. 그리하여 주의 말씀이 온 지역에 퍼지더라.”(행 13:47-49)

             하나님께서는 영이 가난하여 통회함으로 회개하여 구원받아 하나님의 말씀에 떠는 하나님의 자녀들과 이스라엘의 남은 자들과 또한 대 환란을 통해서 회개하여 어린 양의 피로 자신의 옷을 씻어 희게 되어 구원받는 모든 이방인들(계 7:9-17)을 위하여 새 하늘들과 새 땅과 새 예루살렘에서 영원 하나님과 함께 거하게 하심으로 영원히 보살피시는 축복을 주실 것입니다. 뿐만 아니라 주님이 오실 때까지 이 세상에 살고 있는 우리는 항상 영이 하나님의 말씀을 사모하는 가난한 마음을 가지고 죄에 대하여 애통함으로 회개하면서 하나님의 말씀을 들을 때마다 마음판에 깊히 새기면서 두려워하는 삶을 살 때에 하나님께서는 자신의 말씀 안에서 우리의 피난처가 되심으로써 우리들을 보살펴주실 것입니다.

             다윗왕은 하나님의 말씀만이 진리임을 깨닫고 말씀에 대하여 시편 119편을 통하여 자세하게 증거했습니다:

“청년이 무엇으로 자기 길을 정결케 하리이까? 주의 말씀을 따라 조심할 것이니이다. 내가 전심으로 주를 찾았으니 오 나로 주의 계명에서 벗어나지 않게 하소서. 주의 말씀을 내 마음에 간직하였으니 이는 내가 주께 범죄치 아니하려 함이니이다. 오 주여 송축받으소서. 주의 규례들을 내게 가르치소서. 주의 입의 모든 명령들을 내가 입술로 선포하였나이다. 내가 주의 법규들을 묵상하며 주의 길들을 존중하리이다. 내가 주의 규례들을 즐거워하며 주의 말씀을 잊지 아니하리이다.”(시 119:9-16) 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: psalms 56:1-13

Main scripture: Isaiah 66:1-2

Subject: The one that God looks after

               The main passage is of the day when the will of God is fulfilled on the earth. When the time is fulfilled, the Lord Jesus Christ shall be sitting at the throne of God in the earth making his feet stand on the earth, and he will cast the devil into the bottomless pit that has let the world unto sin and death and curse, and seal him for thousand years. Thereafter, finally God will have rest sitting at his throne. This earth is the footstool of God; whenever we pray and praise the Lord, we kneel down before his feet.

             A psalmist prophesied of this day of the Lord:

“The Lord reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

The Lord is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.

Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.”(Ps. 99:1-3)

When this day comes, the Lord Jesus Christ, our God will come down with his cherubims to the world to reign, and establish his throne in Jerusalem that is Zion. Then the earth shall be moved, and all the rulers of the world shall give up their thrones unto the Lord Jesus Christ. Only the Lord Jesus Christ shall only be the Lord of Lords, and the King of Kings on the earth. Only he shall be great in Jerusalem, and high above all the people. He shall no more be weak as he died on the cross, but all the people in the earth shall tremble before his feet. The prayer of the Jews shall be fulfilled at that time: “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”(Matt. 6:10)

               The will of God toward the world is to destroy the devil, our enemy that has brought sin and death and curses to the world for six thousand years (Heb. 2:14, 1John 3:8), and he will restore the cursed earth, and let the only they that is poor in spirit, and tremble at his word, and mourn with repenting sins dwell in heaven and earth. Until the Lord Jesus Christ come back to the world to judge, sin and death and curses shall not be ceased without any hope and peace

at all. The rulers of the world is still deceiving their people with false peace and false hope like the mirage appearing in the deserts, but it is matter of time before all their lies shall be in vain after all. We are already seeing even American Dream revealed as vanity. Because of too much gap between rich and poor, people living in poverty cannot see any hope of better life in the midst of fear and trembling.

              God is speaking unto the world of the restoration of his kingdom in the earth to rest himself:

“Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.”(Isa. 66:1,2)

All the words of God are his oath pledging his name as testified in the scripture:

“For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven…..I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name….All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.”(Ps. 119:89; 138:2,4)

             King David testified of the words of God pledged with his name:

“In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me… In God will I praise his word: in the Lord will I praise his word.

In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.”(Ps. 56:4,10,11)

                  King Solomon also testified, wisdom is to fear the words of God :

“The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.”(Prov. 29:25)

                    Apostle Paul testified of trusting in the true words of God not in the words of man that is liar along with a psalmist:

“I said in my haste, All men are liars….. 3For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”(Ps. 116:11, Rom. 3:3,4)

                 The scriptures testify of the wickedness in the heart of natural man to warn not to trust in the words of anyone:

“What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:

Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

Their feet are swift to shed blood:

Destruction and misery are in their ways:

And the way of peace have they not known:

There is no fear of God before their eyes.”(Rom. 3:9-18)

           Yeah! A very important one that we understand living in the world is that no one we can trust; even father and mother as testified by many young men and women theses days. The LORD God spoke of it through prophet Isaiah::

“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.”(Isa. 49:15,16)

Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. This word is the answer of God unto them. The LORD God comforted them saying, the LORD God engraved their name upon his palms. Not only they but also God is comforting the children of God saying, he engraved their names upon his palms even though they seem to be forsaken to miserable situation.

                God still promises to look after them that repent their sins, and tremble before the words of God. Jesus said the same messages unto the Jew who came forward unto him unto the mountain saying,

“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”(Matt. 5:3-6)

                 When Apostle Paul preached the gospel of Christ unto the Jews, they put it from them; then Apostle Paul and Barnabas said unto them, they turn to the Gentiles. They preached the gospel unto the Gentiles, they praised the word of the Lord understanding, only the word of the Lord to be trusted:

“For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.”(Acts 13:47-49)

                   God will bless the children of God, and the remnant of Israel, and all Gentiles that are to be saved through washing their garment with the blood of the Lamb of God in the tribulation (Rev. 7:9-17). The LORD God has prepared the new heavens and the new earth and the New Jerusalem for all of them to look after them all. The Lord will look after us until he comes back when we are poor in spirit for the words of God, and repent our sins, and tremble upon hearing the words of God engraving them, and he will be our refuge and fortress.

               King David understood that only the words of God are true, he testified of the words of God in his psalm 119:

“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.

With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.”(Ps. 119:9-16)
