금주의 묵상: 시편 16:1-11

본문: 사도행전 1:1-11

제목: 예수님의 부활과 하나님의 나라(왕국)

         예수께서는 자신이 죽으시기 전에 유대인들에게 가르치실 때, 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다. 또한 그의 왕국으로 들어가기 위해서 무엇을 먼저해야 할 것인가에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다: “오히려 너희는 먼저 하나님의 나라(왕국)와 그분의 의를 그하라. 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더해 주시리라.”(마 6:33)

         이 말씀을 주신 것은 그들이 이방인들처럼 먹을 것 마실 것 그리고 입을 것을 구하지 말아야 함을 말씀하시면서 가장 먼저 구해야 할 것은 썩어질 것들이 아니고 썩지 않고 영원한 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어가야함에 대하여 말씀하신 것입니다. 또한 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어가기 위해서 그들이 또한 가장 먼저 구할 것은 하나님의 의라고 말씀하신 것입니다.

           예수께서 이 세상에 나타나시기 전 천오백 여 년

동안 그들이 지키지도 못할 율법 아래서 온갖 징계와 고난을 받아 그들에게 필요한 것은 자신의 죽으심과 장사되심과 부활하심을 믿는자마다 율법의 죄에서 해방되어 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어가지 않으면 소망이 없음에 대하여 말씀하신 것이며 또한 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어가기 위해서는 율법의 의가 아닌 하나님의 의를 구해야 함에 대하여 말씀하신 것입니다. 하나님의 의를 구하기 위해서는 앞으로 자신이 그들의 모든 죄들을 위하여 죽으심을 믿어야 함에 대하여 말씀하신 것입니다.

            사도 바울은 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어가기 위해서는 그리스도의 복음을 믿어야함에 대하여 증거할 때에 첫째가 바로 유대인이라고 증거했습니다: “내가 그리스도의 복음을 부끄러워하지 아니하노니 이는 이 복음이 믿는 모든 사람을 구원에 이르게 하는 하나님의 능력이 됨이라. 첫째는  유대인이게요, 또한 헬라인에게로다.”(롬 1:16)

          또한 예수께서는 재물을 섬기고 있는 유대인들에게 한 가지 비유로 말씀하실 때 재물을 섬기는 사람은 하나님을 섬길 수 없음에 대하여 말씀하시면서 그런 사람은 하나님의 나라에 들어갈 수 없음에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다:

“낙타가 바늘 귀로 들어가는 것이 부자가 하나님의 나라에 들어가는 것보다 쉬우니라.”(마 19:24)

          그러므로 자신이 죄인임을 깊히 깨닫고 하나님의 의가 필요한 사람들에 댜하여 말씀하시면서 하나님의 나라(왕국)는 그런 자들의 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다:

“진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 세리들과 창녀들이 너희보다 먼저 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어갈 것이니라.”(마 21:31)

            예수님을 세상에 알리기 위하여 세상에 태어나서 그분을 “세상 죄를 제거하는 하나님의 어린 양”(요 1:29)이라고 선포한 침례인 요한이  감옥에 갇힌 후, 예수께서는 비로소 갈릴리로 오셔서 하나님의 나라(왕국)의 복음을 전파하시면서 말씀하셨습니다: “그 때가 찼고 하나님의 나라가 가까이 왔도다. 너희는 회개하고 복음을 믿으라.”(막 1:15)

            예수께서 제자들에게 말씀하실 때,  하나님의 나라(왕국)는 신비로운 곳이라 말씀하시면서 그들에게는 하나님의 나라(왕국)의 신비를 알도록 허락되었으나 밖에 있는 사람들에게는 모든 것이 비유로 되었느니라고 말씀하셨습니다)막 4:11). 이 말씀을 하신 후에 어린 아이들이 자신에게 오는 것을 허락하고, 금하지 말라고 말씀하시면서 하나님의 나라(왕국)가 이런 자들의 것이니라고 말씀하셨습니다:

“진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 누구든지 하나님의 나라(왕국)를 어린아이처럼 영접하지 않는 자는 결코 그곳에 들어가지 못하리라.”(막 10:15)

            예수께서는 세상에 오신 목적에 대하여 말씀하실 때에도 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다:

“다른 성읍에도 하나님의 나라(왕국)를 전파해야 하느니라. 이를 위하여 내가 보냄을 받았느니라.”(눅 4:43)

        예수께서는 그를 따르는 가난한 제자들에게 말씀하시기를, “너희 가난한 자들은 복이 있나니, 하나님의 나라(왕국)가 너희의 것임이요.”(눅 6:20)라고 하셨으며, 하나님의 나라(왕국)에서는 가장 작은 자일지라도침례인 요한 보다 더 크다고 말씀하셨습니다(눅 7:28). 또한 하나님의 나라에 들어가는 일이 언제부터 일어나는 지에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다: “율법과 선지서들은 요한까지요, 그후로는 하나님의 나라(왕국)가 전파돠어 사람마다 그 안으로 밀려 들어가느니라.”(눅 16:16)

              또한 예수께서는 자신을 따르기 위하여 모든 것을 버린 제자들을에게 말씀하실 때 그들이 하나님의 나라(왕국)를 위하여 헌신한 자들이라고 말씀하셨습니다:

“진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 하나님의 나라를 위하여 집이나, 부모나 형제나, 아내나 자식을 버린자(떠난 자)로서 이 현세에서는 여러 배를 더 받지 못할 자가 없고, 또 오는 세상에서 영생을 받지 못할 자가 없으리라.”(눅 18:29-30)

             어떤 자들이 하나님의 나라를 볼 수 있으며 또한 들어갈 수 있는가에 대하여 종교인 바리새인 니고데모에게 말씀하셨습니다:

“진실로 진실로 내가 너에게 말하노니, 사람이 거듭나지 아니하면 하나님의 나라(왕국)를 볼 수 없느니라…..사람이 물과 성령으로 태어나지 아니하면 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어갈 수 없느니라. 육신으로 난 것은 육이요, 또 성령으로 난 것은 영이니라.”(요 3:3,5,6)

              예수께서는 자신이 세상 죄를 제거하시기 위해 죽으시기 전에 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 대하여 끊임없이 말씀하신 것입니다. 마침내 고난당하시고 죽으신 후에 셋째 날에 부활하신 예수께서는 자신이 고난 당하신 후 자신이 살아 계심을 제자들에게 무오한 증거들로 보여주시고 사십 일 동안 그들에게 보이시면서 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 대한 일들을 말씀하셨습니다. 사십일 동안이나 그들에게 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 대하여 말씀하신 내용은 세세히 기록되지 않았지만 분명히 알 수 있는 것은 자신이 고난 받으시고 죽으시고 부활하심을 통하여 누구나 그분을 믿는 자마다 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어감에 대하여 말씀하셨음을 알 수 있는 것입니다.

            또한 예수께서 제자들에게 사십 일 동안이나 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 대하여 가르치신 것은 그들로 하여금 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 대한 복음을 전해야 하는 사명을 주시기 위함이었습니다. 예수께서는 자신의 제자들이 그 사명을 감당하기 위해서는 위로부터 오시는 성령의 능력을 받아야 함에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다.

그러므로 예수께서는 그들이 예루살렘을 떠나지 말고 아버지의 약속을 기다려야 할 것을 명령하신 것입니다. 그들이 하나님의 나라(왕국)를 증거하기 위해서는 물과 성령으로 거듭나기 위해서 성령으로 침례받아야 함에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다.

            사도 바울은 하나님께서 그들의 조상 아브라함에게 하신 하나님의 약속에 대하여 증거할 때에 그 약속이 바로 성령의 약속이었으며 성령을 통하여 그들이 거듭나서 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어가는 것에 대하여 증거했습니다:

“그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 저주가 되셔서 율법의 저주로부터 우리를 구속하셨으니 기록되기를 ‘나무에 매달린 자는 누구나 저주받은  자라.’고 하였도다. 이는 아브라함의 복이 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 이방인들에게 미치게 함이며 또 우리로 하여금 믿음으로 말미암아 성령의 약속을 받게 하려는 것이라.”(갈 3:13-14)

“하나님의 나라(왕국)는 먹고 마시는 것이 아니라 다만 성령 안에서 의와 화평과 기쁨이라.'(롬 14:17)

             예수께서 제자들에게 예루살렘을 떠나지 말고 아버지의 약속을 기다리라는 말씀을 하셨을 때, 그들은 에수께서 주와 그리스도(메시야)가 되셔서 모든 민족을 심판하시고 예루살렘에 메시야 왕국을 세우시는 것으로 질못 알아듣고 “주여, 이 때에 이스라엘에 그 왕국을 회복하시겠나이까?”라고 물었습니다. 그들이 즉시 이스라엘 땅에 주 예수 그리스도의 천년왕국이 임하는 줄 았았던 것입니다. 그들의 마음 속에는 다른 유대인들처럼 하루속히 이방 나라들의 압제 속에서 벗어나기를 원했던 것입니다. 옛날 바빌론, 앗시리아, 페르시아, 그리스 등의 압제 하에서 살았던 조상들을 생각하면서 현재 그들 또한 로마의 압제 하에 있는 그들로서는 당연한 생각이었습니다. 그러나 주님께서는 침례인 요한 이후로 하나님의 나라(왕국)가 전파되어 믿는 사람마다 그 안으로 밀려 들어가게 하기 위하여 제자들에게 성령으로 침례주셔서 복음을 전파하게 하는 계획을 세우셨던 것입니다.

            제자들의 마음 속에 들어있는 생각을 아시는 주님께서는 그들이 원하는 그리스도(메시야)의 왕국에 대하여 부인하지 않으시고 다만 그들에게 아직 때가 되지 않았다고 말씀하신 것입니다: “너희에게는 그 때나 시기를 알게 하신 것이 아니요, 아버지께서 자신의 권한에 두셨느니라. 그러나 너희에게 성령이 임하시면 너희가 능력을 받으리니 그러면 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 내게 증인이 되리라.”(행 1:7-8)

              이 말씀을 마치시자마자 갑자기 하늘 구름 속으로 사라져버리신 예수님을 주시하려는 제자즐에게 나타난 천사는 앞으로 그분께서 다시 오실 때에 이스라엘에 왕국을 세우실 것에 대한 메시지를 주었습니다:

“너희 갈릴리 사람들아, 어찌하여 너희는 하늘을 쳐다보고 서 있느냐?너희를 떠나 하늘로 들려 올라가신 바로 이 예수는 너희가 하늘로 올라 가심을 본 그대로 오시리라.”(행 1:11)

                하늘에서 최초로 죄를 지은 마귀로 인하여 하늘이 더럽혀졌으며 이 땅 또한 마귀가 가져온 죄로 인하여 더럽혀졌으며 아담의 죄로 인하여 지난 육천 년 동안 죄와 사망으로 가득차게 된 것입니다. 사천 년이 지난 후에 이 땅에 아버지 하나님께로부터 보내심을 받은 태초에 말씀으로 계셨던 하나님께서 하나님의 독생자의 모습으로 나타나셔서 아담의 형상을 입으시고 나타나신 것입니다. 아담의 죄로 인하여 하나님께서 창조하신 사람의 온 영과 혼과 몸이 하나님의 형상을 잃어버리고 죄 가운데 파멸 속에 있게 되었던 것입니다. 이 죄인들을 하나님의 형상으로 다시 회복시키시기 위하여 세상 죄를 제거하시기 위해 고난 가운데 채찍에 맞으시고 죽으심으로써 믿는 자들을 치유하시고 믿는 자들의 혼을 파멸로부터 구원하시고 죽은 영을 살리시어 믿는 자들을 세상나라들로부터 구원하여 하나님의 나라(왕국)로 인도하신 것입니다.

             이 일을 위하여 하나님께서는 독생자 예수 그리스도를 통하여 하늘과 땅에 죄를 가져온 마귀를 멸하시는 계획을 세우시고 그분의 죽으심을 통하여 세상 죄를 제거하셨으며 부활하심으로써 복음을 믿는 자들이 성령을 통하여 다시 태어나서 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어가게 하신 것입니다. 그러나 지금은 하나님의 나라(왕국)가 믿는 자 속에 영적으로 이루어져 있지만 주님께서 다시 오실 때 하늘들과 땅이 하나님의 나라(왕국)가 되는 것입니다.

             그러므로 사도들은 하나님의 독생자께서 세상에 나타나신 목적에 대하여 분명하게 증거했습니다:

“자녀들이 피와 살에 참여하는 자인 것같이 그 역시 같은 모양으로 동일한 것에 참여하신 것은 자신의 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 가진 자 마귀를 멸망시키며 또 죽음을 두려워 하므로 평생 노예로 속받되어 있는 자들을 놓아주시려 함이니라.”(히 2:14-15)

“죄를 짓는 자는 마귀에게 속하나니 이는 마귀가 처음으로 죄를 짓기 때문이라. 이 목적으로 하나님의 아들이 나타났으니, 곧 마귀의 일들을 멸하시려는 것이라.”(요일 3:8)

              마귀의 일이 무엇입니까? 그는 죄와 사망의 권세를 가진 자인 것입니다. 그 마귀를 심판하여 멸하기 위해서는 하나님의 독생자이신 예수께서 세상 죄를 자신의 몸에 모두 전가받으시고 죽으셔야 했던 것입니다. 그분께서는 이천 년 전에 우리가 태어나기도 전에 이미 온 세상 죄를 품으시고 죽으심으로써 이미 세상 죄를 제거하셨습니다. 또한 그분께서 셋째 날에 부활하셔서 믿는 자에게 성령을 주심으로써 사망에서 생명으로 옮기셨습니다. 이천 년 전에 이 땅에 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 오신 성령께서는 지금도 세상을 향하여 죄에 대하여 말씀하시면서 죄라는 것은 모든 사람의 죄를 위하여 죽으시고 부활하신 주 예수 그리스도를 믿지 않는 것이라고 책망하고 계시며, 또한 그분을 믿어 구원받지 않으면 하나님의 나라(왕국)에 들어갈 수 없으며, 세상 통치자인 마귀는 이미 심판받았으니 더 이상 그가 통치하는 세상을 따라가지 말라고 책망하고 계신 것입니다. 아멘! 할렐루야!

Meditation of the week: Psalms 16:1-11

Main scripture: Acts 1:1-11

Subject: Resurrection of Jesus, and the kingdom of God

              Jesus taught the Jews of the kingdom of God before he died on the cross, and of what they are supposed to do first to enter his kingdom:

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”(Matt. 6:33)

              They were supposed to seek the eternal kingdom of God not to seek what to eat and drink that is corruptible as the Gentiles seek. And they were supposed to seek first the righteousness to enter the kingdom of God.

             They had been the midst of all kinds of discipline and affliction under the law that they couldn’t observe for fifteen hundreds of years before the Lord Jesus appeared to the world. They were hopeless unless they were delivered from the law through believing in the Lord Jesus Christ for his death and burial and resurrection. And they were supposed to seek the righteousness of God instead of the righteousness of the law. To see the righteousness of God is to believe in the death of Christ for their sins.

               Apostle Paul testified of the gospel of Christ that should be the Jew first for them to believe to enter the kingdom of God:

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”(Rom. 1:16)

                Jesus spoke unto the Jews a parable of them that served mammon; they couldn’t serve God at the same time so that they cannot enter the kingdom of God:

“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”(Matt. 19:24)

               Jesus spoke of them that need the righteousness of God through understanding themselves serious sinners. Jesus said, the kingdom of God is for such kinds of people:

“Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.”

              After John the Baptist was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God. John the Baptist was born to introduce Jesus as the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world(John 1:29)

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”(Mark 1:15)

               Jesus spoke unto the disciples of the kingdom of God that is mysterious that is given unto them to know the mysterious kingdom: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables(mark 4;11). Afterwards he said unto them not to forbid the little children to come unto him; for of the such is the kingdom of God:

“Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.”(Mark 10:15)

             Jesus spoke of the reason why he came to the world related to the kingdom of God:

“I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.”(Luke 4:43)

               Jesus spoke unto his poor disciples, “Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.“(Luke 6:20)

He also said, he that is least in the kingdom of God  is greater than John the Baptist(Luke 7:28). He also mentioned about the time when people begin to enter the kingdom of God:

“The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.”(Luke 16:16)

               Jesus spoke of his disciples that departed all things as the ones that dedicated for the kingdom of God:

“Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake,

30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.”(Luke 18:29-30)

                Jesus spoke unto Nicodemus who was one of religious Pharisees of them that can see the kingdom of God to enter into it:

“Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God…. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”(John 3:3,5)

                Jesus had continued to speak repeatedly of the kingdom of God before he died to take away the sin of the world. Finally, Jesus rose again the third day after he suffered and died; unto his disciples  he showed himself alive after  his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days. and speaking of the things pertaining the kingdom of God. We don’t know what he spoke unto the disciples in details through the records, but he must have spoken unto them whosoever believes in him enters the kingdom of God.

              Jesus taught his disciples for forty days pertaining the kingdom of God was to give them the mission to preach the gospel of his kingdom. As Jesus said, they needed the power of the Holy Ghost from above in heaven to be able to do their mission. Therefore Jesus commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father. They had to be baptized with the Holy Ghost to testify of the kingdom of God to be born again of the Spirit.

             Apostle Paul testified of the promised given unto Abraham their father that was the promise of the Holy Ghost. Therefore they had to be born again through the Holy Ghost to enter the kingdom of God:

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”(Gal. 3:13-14)

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”(Rom. 14:17)

               When Jesus commanded the disciples not to depart Jerusalem to wait for the promise of the Father, they misunderstood his word thinking of the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ to be establish in Jerusalem after he Judge all the nations. This is the reason why they asked Jesus saying, ” Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?” They thought of the coming of the Millennium kingdom of Christ in Israel right away. They wanted to be delivered from the ruling of the gentile nations as soon as possible as other Jews. It was natural for them to think of that memorizing of their fathers afflicted under Babylon, Assyria, Persia, and Greece, and even Roman Empire that was ruling them. But Jesus had planned for every man that believe in the kingdom of God presses into it so that he wanted them to be baptized with the Holy Ghost for them to preach the gospel.

              Knowing the thoughts in their heart, Jesus never denied of the kingdom of Christ their Messiah in Israel, but he said, it was not the time for it:

” It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”(Act 1:7-8)

             The angels appeared unto them when Jesus was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight, and gave them the message of the kingdom in Israel when he come back as he was lifted up:

“Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”(Act. 1:11)

              Because of the Devil that sinned in the beginning in heaven, the heaven was defiled as well as the earth because of the sin that was brought forth. And since then, the earth has been full of sins and death for six thousand years because of the sin of Adam. When four thousand had passed by, the Word in the beginning that was with God was sent by the Father to the earth as the only begotten Son of God  in the form of Adam. Because of the sin of Adam, all men were in destruction of their souls and spirit and body losing the image of God. To restore the sinners , Jesus suffered with stripes, and died to heal them that believe in him quickening their spirit, and deliver their souls from destruction through taking away the sin of the world so that he lead them to the kingdom of God.

           For this ministry of God, he had planned to destroy the Devil that brought for the sin to heaven and earth through Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son; and though the death of Christ, he took away the sin of the world, and let them that believe in the gospel of Christ to be born again of the Spirit to enter the kingdom of God. But now, the kingdom of God is within the believers spiritually, but it shall be in heaven and the earth physically seen when the Lord Jesus shall come back to the earth.

            Therefore, apostles testified of the purpose of the only begotten Son of God appeared to the world:

“14Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

15And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”(Heb. 2:14-15)

“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”(1John 3:8)

            What is the work of the Devil? he is the one that has the power of sin and death. To judge him unto destruction,  the only begotten Son of God had to take the sin of the world unto his body unto death. He  died embracing the sin of the world even before we were born, and took away the sin of the world. And he rose again the third day, and gives the Holy Ghost unto them that believe in him to deliver them from death unto life. The Holy Ghost came to the world in the name of Jesus Christ, and he is reprove against the world of sin because they believe not on him even though he died for their sins. He also reprove the world saying, they cannot enter the kingdom of God because of their unfaith of him. he also reproves of judgment because the prince of the world that is the Devil is judged already so that no one follow the world under him. Amen! Hallelujah!
