금주의 묵상: 시편 23:1-6

본문: 시편 22:22-31

제목: 죄인들을 주 예수 그리스도의 형제가 되게 하신 하나님의 은혜

         시편 22편은 성령께서 오래전 다윗 왕의 입을 통하여 앞으로 이 땅에 나타나실 하나님의 독생자이신 예수께서 받으실 고난과 죽으심과 부활에 대하여 미리 예언하게 하신 말씀입니다.

           “나의 하나님, 나의 하나님, 어찌하여 주께서는 나를버리셨나이까?” 라는 말로 기도를 시작한 다윗은 그 당시 자신이 하나님께 버림받은 것 같은 환경 가운데서 부르짖었던 신음소리였지만, 하나님께서는 다윗을 앞으로 오실 예수 그리스도의 모형으로 삼으시고 그에게 기름을 부으시어 예수님처럼 선지자와 왕과 제사장의 직분을 주시어 성소에 차려놓은 진설병을 먹게 하신 것입니다. 이 시편 뿐만 아니라 그의 시편들 속에는 앞으로 오셔서 고난 받으시고 쥭으시고 부활하실 예수 그리스도에 대한 예언들 뿐만 아니라 그리스도인들을 데리려 오시는 일, 그리고 다니엘의 칠십째 주, 즉 7년 대 환란 때에 일어날 일들과 마침내 만왕의 왕이시며 만주의 주로 이 세상에 오셔서 세상을 심판하시고 그의 왕국을 세우실 일들에 대하여 자세하게 들어 있는 것입니다.

             예수께서는 자신에 대한 이 예언의 말씀을 이루시기 위하여 아버지 하나님께서 그분을 잠시 동안 버리신 동안 십자가 상에서 극심한 고통 속에서 아버지께 부르짖으셨습니다. 이 장면을 본 마태는 그가 보고 들은대로 증거했습니다:

“제육시에서 제구시까지 어두움이 온 땅을 덮었더라. 제구시경에 예수께서 큰 음성으로 소리질러 말씀하시기를 ‘엘리, 엘리, 라마 사박타니?’ 하시니, 이는 ‘나의 하나님, 나의 하나님, 어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까?’ 라는 말이라.”(마 27:45-46)

           사도들이 기록한 복음서에는 예수께서 십자가 상에서 하신 말씀들을 자세하게 기록하지 않았지만 성령께서는 오실 그리스도의 모형으로 택함받은 다윗 왕이 왕으로 기름부음받기 전에 적그리스도의 모형인 사울 왕에게 극심한 고난을 받게 하심으로 그가 고난 가운데서 그의 입을 통하여 말하게 하심으로 자신도 모르게 그리스도 예수께서 하실 말씀들을 미리 예언하게 하신 것입니다:

“그러나, 나는 벌레요, 사람이 아니라. 사람들의 비방거리요, 백성들에게 멸시거리니이다. 나를 보는 자는 다 조롱하고 비웃나니 그들이 입술을 내밀고 머리를 흔들며 말하기를 ‘그가 주께서 자기를 구원하실 줄 신뢰하였도다. 주께서 그를 기뻐하시니 그를 구하시게 하라.’ 하나이다.”

              사도 마태는 다윗 왕의 입을 통하여 말하게 하신 분이 바로 그리스도이신 예수시라는 사실을 증거했습니다:

“거기 서 있던 자들 가운데 몇 사람이 그 말을 듣고 말하기를 ‘이 사람이 엘리야를 부른다.’고 하더라. 그러나 그들 가운데 한 사람이 즉시 달려가서 해면을 가져다가 식초에 적셔 갈대에 꿰어 주깨 마시라고 주더라. 그러나 나머지 사람들이 말하기를 ‘가만 두어라. 엘리야가 와서 그를 구원하나 보자.’고 하더라. 예수께서 다시 큰 음성으로 소리지르신 후, 숨을 거두시더라.”(마 27:47-49)

           다윗 왕은 다른 시편(69편)에서 사람들이 십자가에 못박혀 있는 예수께 식초를 마시게 할 것을 마치 본 것처럼 예언했습니다:

“그들이 또 쓸개즙을 나의 음식물로 내게 주었으며 내 갈증에 나로 식초를 마시도록 주었나이다.”(시 69:21)

             다윗 왕은 그의 생전에 쓸개즙을 먹고 식초를 마신 적이 없었으나 성령께서 말하게 하심을 따라 말함으로써 오실 메시야이신 예수 그리스도의 고난에 대하여 성령 안에서 미리 증거한 것입니다. 뿐만 아니라 그는 그의 손과 발이 못박한 적이 없었지만 에수께서 십자가에 못박힌 것을 본 것처럼 증거했던 것입니다.

“개들이 나를 에워싸고 악인의 무리들이 나를 둘러쌌으며 그들이 내 손과 내 발을 찔렀나이다. 내가 내 모든 뼈들을 셀 수 있으니 그들이 나를 보며 쳐다보나이다. 그들이 그들 가운데서 내 겉옷을 나누고 내 속옷을 제비뽑나이다.”(시 22:16-18)

           오늘 우리가 읽은 22절부터는 우리의 죄들을 위하여 고난받으시고 죽으시고 부활하신 예수께서 마침내 택하신 이스라엘 백성들과 자신의 몸된 하나님의 교회를 향하여 승리를 선포하시는 장면에 대한 예언이며 그리스도 예수께서 자신의 백성들과 하나님의 교회에 대하여 선포하시는 말씀입니다:

“내가 주의 이름을 내 형제들에게 선포하며 회증 가운데서 내가 주를 찬양하리이다. 주를 두려워하는 너희여, 그를 찬양하라. 너희 야곱의 모든 씨들아, 그를 영화롭게 하라. 너희 이스라엘의 모든 씨들아, 그를 두려워할지어다. 이는 그는 고통받는 자의 고통을 멸시하거나 증오하지 않으셨으며 그가 부르짖을 때에 들으셨음이라. 큰 회중 가운데서 나의 찬양이 주께 있으리니 나는 주를 두려워하는 자들 앞에서 나의 서원들을 갚으리이다.온유한 자는 먹고 만족할 것이요, 주를 칮는 자들은 그를 찬양할 것이니 너희 마음이 영원히 살 것이라.”(시 22:22-26)

             죄를 알지도 못하신 하나님이신 분이 하늘에 있는 모든 영예를 버리시고 사람의 모습으로 나타나셔서 세상 죄를 모두 전가받으심으로써 죄덩어리가 되셔서 (고후 5:21,빌 2:7) 우리 죄인들이 받아야 마땅한 저주와 형벌을 받으시고 죽으시고 부활하신 목적이 유대인이나 이방인이나 차별없이 그분을 믿고 영접하는 모든 사람들을 자신의 형제들이 되게 하시려는 것이라고 성령께서 증거하고 있는 것입니다.

             예수께서 부활하신 후 그분을 만났던 여인들에게 하신 말씀 속에서 우리는 이 엄청난 사실을 확인할 수 있습니다: “두려워 말라. 가서 나의 형제들에게 갈릴리로 가라고 말하라. 그리하면 그들이 거기서 나를 보리라.”( 마 28:10)

부활하신 주님께서 막달라 마리아에게 하신 말씀 가운데서도 그분께서 부활하신 목적에 대하여 알 수 있습니다.: “나를 만지지 말라. 내가 아직 내 아버지께로 올라가지 아니하였노라. 그러나 내 형제들에게 가서 내가 나의 아버지, 곧 너희 아버지, 또 나의 하나님, 곧 너희 하나님께로 올라간다고 말하라.”(요 20:17)

             또한 성령께서는 다윗 왕의 입을 통하여 다시 세상에 나타나셔서 세상을 심판하신 후 세우실 왕국에 대하여 예언하시고 있습니다:

“세상의 모든 끝이 기억하고 주께로 돌이키리니 민족들의 모든 족속들이 주 앞에 경배하리이다. 이는 왕국이 주의 것이요, 주께서 민족들 가운데 통치자시기 때문이니이다. 땅 위의 모든 풍요로운 자들이 먹고 경배할 것이요, 진토로 내려가는 모든 자들도 그 앞에 절하리로다. 자신의 혼을 살려둘 수 있는 자는 아무도 없으리라.”(시 22:27-29)

             하나님께서는 주 예수 그리스도의 죽으심과 부활하심을 통하여 이스라엘과 하나님의 교회뿐만 아니라 그분께서 오실 때에 회개하고 그분을 믿는 이방 민족들에게도 그의 왕국에서 축복을 누리게 하실 것에 대하여 다윗을 통하여 증거하게 하신 것입니다. 이 사실을 깨달은 사도 바울은 고린도교회 성도들에게 권면했습니다:

“유대인에게나 이방인에게나 하나님의 교회에게나 아무도 거치는 자가 되지 말라.'(고전 10:32)

             시편 22편 마지막 두 절에서 다윗 왕은 아주 중요한 예언을 하고 있습니다:

“한 씨가 그를 섬길 것이요, 그것이 주께 한 세대로 여겨지리라. 그들이 와서 태어날 한 백성을 위한 그의 의를 선포하리니 이는 그가 이것을 행하셨음이라.”

             그렇습니다. 하나님께서는 세상의 기초를 놓으시기 전에 세상 죄를 제거하시기 위해 죽으시고 부활하시는 그리스도 예수를 믿는 모든 사람들, 즉 유대인이나 이방인이나 차별 없이 그들을 성령 안에서 다시 태어나게 하시셔 자신의 양자들로 삼으시고(엡 1:4-5) 동시에 자신의 독생자이신 주 예수 그리스도의 친 형제들로 삼으신 것입니다. 이에 대하여 다윗 왕은 성령 안에서 “태어날 한 백성”이라 증거했으며, “그의 의를 선포하리니 이는 그가 이것을 행하셨음이라.”고 증거함으로써 주 예수 그리스도의 보혈을 통하여 구속, 곧 죄사함(골 1:14)을 받는 모든 사람들은 자신의 의가 아닌 하나님의 의를 구함으로써 이루어질 것을 증거한 것입니다.

             사도 베드로는 이 태어날 백성들이 바로 하나님의 교회에 속한 하나님의 자녀들이라고 증거했습니다: “그러나 너희는 선택받은 세대요 왕같은 제사장이며, 거룩한 민족이요, 독특한 백성이니, 이는 너희를 어두운 데서 불러내어 그의 놀라운 빛으로 들어가게 하신 분의 덕을 너희로 선포하게 하시려는 것이라. 너희가 전에는 배성이 아니었으나 이제는 하나님의 백성이며, 전에는 자비를 받지 못하였으나 이제는 자비를 받았느니라.”(벧전 2:9-10)

           사도 바울은 히브리인들에게 쓴 편지 가운데서도 예수 그리스도를 믿어 거듭난 사람들이 하나님의 자녀이며 예수 그리스도의 형제가 된 놀라운 은헤에 대하여 증거했습니다: “거룩하게 하시는 문과 거룩하게 된 사람들이 모두 한 분으로부터 나왔으니, 그러므로 주께서 그들을 형제라 부르시기를 부끄러워 아니하시고, 말씀하시기를, ‘내가 내 이름을 내 형제에게 선포하고 교회 가운데서 주를 찬송하리라.’ 하셨으며 또다시 ‘내가 주를 의지하리라.’하시고, 또다시 ‘보라, 나의 하나님께서 내게 주신 자녀들이라.’고 하셨느니라.”(히 2:11-13)

             사도 바울은 다윗 왕의 입을 통하여 말하게 하신 분이 바로 예수 그리스도시며 그분의 형제들은 바로 하나님의 교회, 즉 자신의 몸된 교회의 지체들인 것을 성령 안에서 증거한 것입니다. 그러므로 이 엄청난 은혜를 확실하게 깨달은 그는 예수 그리스도의 몸인 하나님의 교회를 위하여 모든 고난을 받았다고 증거했습니다:

“이제 내가 너희를 위하여받는 나의 고난들을 기뻐하고 또 그리스도가 고통받으신 이후에 있는 것을 그의 몸인 교회를 위하여 내 육신에 채우노라. 너희를 위하여 내게 주신 하나님의 경륜을 따라 하나님의 말씀을 이루려고 내가 일꾼이 되었노라. 이 신비는 여러 시대와 세대에 감추어졌다가 이제 그의 성도들에게 나타났고 하나님께서는 이들에게 이방인 가운데서 이 신비의 영광의 풍요함이 어떠한지를 알리고자 하셨으니 이 신비는 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시요, 곧 영광의 소망이라.”(골 1:24-27)

             하나님께서는 하나님의 교회에 대한 계시를 받은 사도 바울을 통하여 성령 안에서 교회들에게 증거하게 하심으로써 교회들이 자신들이 받은 축복이 얼마나 큰지에 대헤 깨닫게 하시기를 원하시는 것입니다. 그가 로마와 에베소에 있는 교회들에게 쓴 편지를 통해 우리는 우리가 받은 축복을 깨달아야 할 것입니다:

“성령이 친히 우리의 영과 함께 하나님의 자녀이심을 증거하시거니와 자녀이면 또한 상속자들이요, 그리스도와 함께한 공동 상속자들이니 우리가 그와 함께 고난을 받은 것은 함께 영광도 받게 하려 함이니라. 이는 현재의 고난들이 우리에게 나타나게 될 영광에 감히 비교되지 못한다고 내가 여기기 때문이라.”(롬 8:16-18)

“하나님께서 그 능력을 그리스도 안에서 역사하게 하사 그를 죽은 자들로부터 살리셨으며 천상에서 하나님의 오른편에 앉히사 모든 정사와 권세와 능력과 다스림과 이 세상뿐만 아니라 오는 세상에서도 이름지어진 모든 이름 위에 뛰어나게 하셨으며 또 만물을 그의 발 아래 두시고 그를 만물 위에 머리가 되게 하셔서 교회에게 주셨느니라. 교회는 그의 몸이니 만물 안에 모든 것들을 채우시는 분의 충만이니라.”(엡 1:20-24)

           성령께서는 오늘 우리에게 주신 말씀들을 통하여 하나님의 교회, 즉 그리스도의 몸인 교회의 지체가 된 사람들이 받을 영광이 얼마나 큰지 깨닫기를 원하시는 것입니다. 들을 귀가 있는 사람만이 복된 사람입니다. 하나님의 말씀을 알아듣는 사람만이 앞으로 받을 영광을 바라보면서 하나님의 교회를 위하여 모든 고난을 자신의 몸에 채울 수 있는 것입니다.

             우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님, 영광의 아버지께서 자기를 아는 지식 안에서 지혜와 계시의 영을 우리 모두에게 주시어 우리의 지성의 눈을 밝히셔서 우리로 하여금 그의 부르심의 소망이 무엇이며 성도들 안에 있는 그의 우업의 영광의 풍성함이 무엇인지 또 그의 강력한 능력의 역사하심을 따라 믿는 우리에게 향하신 그의 능력의 지극히 위대하심이 어떤 것인가를 알게 하시기를 원하는 것입니다(엡 1:17-19).

Meditation of the week: Psalms 23:1-6

Main scripture: Psalms 22:20-31

Subject: The grace of God that made the sinners be the brothers of the Lord Jesus Christ

              Twenty second chapter of Psalms is the prophecy of the suffering and death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus, the only begotten Son of God to be appearing in the earth spoken through the mouth of King David long time ago.

…………..King David began to pray saying, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” It was his own crying of screaming in the situation that he felt himself as if he were forsaken by the LORD God. But the LORD God had chosen him as the figure of Jesus Christ to come; and he anointed him as prophet, a priest and a king as Jesus. He ate the breads in the Holy Place. Not only Psalms 22, but in other Psalms of him, there are written of the Lord Jesus Christ such as his suffering, and his death and his resurrection; and also of his appearing to take the Christians home in heaven, and of the things to be happening in the period of Seventy’s week of Daniel that is the Great Tribulation to come, and of judgment of the Lord Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and of his kingdom to be built in the earth for thousand years.

             To fulfill the prophecies of himself, Jesus cried out unto the Father God in the midst of extreme suffering on the cross being forsaken by the Father for a while. Apostle Matthew testified of this scene as he saw and heard:

“Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”(Matt. 27:45-46)

               In the books of the gospel written by the apostles of Jesus, there are not written of the words of Jesus in details. But the Holy Ghost used the mouth of King David to prophesy of the words of Jesus in the midst of extreme afflictions by King Saul, a figure of the Antichrist to come choosing David as the figure of Christ to come:

“But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.”

               Apostle Matthew testified of Christ Jesus prophesied through the mouth of King David:

“Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.

And straightway one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.

The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.”(Matt. 27:47-49)

           King David prophesied of Jesus nailed on the cross, and received vinegar in other psalm:

“They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.”(Ps. 69:21)

               King David had never eaten gall for his meat nor drank vinegar; but the Holy Ghost made him prophesy of the suffering of Jesus Christ, the Messiah to come. He had never had his hands and feet nailed on the cross; but he testified of the crucifixion of Jesus as if he had seen him on the cross:

“For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.”(Ps. 22:15-18)

                 Now, from the verse 22 through the end of the chapter, we see the prophesy of declaration of the victory for the people of Israel as well as the church of God that is his body through his suffering and death and resurrection:

“I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

Ye that fear the Lord, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.”(Ps. 22:22-26)

             The one that knew no sin made himself of no reputation in heaven, and took upon him the form of a servant , and was made in the likeness of man. He also made the sin of the world unto his body to make him sin itself(2Cor. 5:21, Phil. 2:7) to receive the curse and punishment that the sinners deserve to receive. The Holy Ghost declares of what he had done for all men to make his brothers when they believe and receive him, whether they are the Jew of the Gentiles without any discrimination.

                 We are able to confirm of such a surprising fact in the word of Jesus spoken the women after he resurrected:

“Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.”(Matt. 28:10)

Jesus spoke unto Magdalene Mary of this:

“Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”(John 20:17)

                 The Holy Ghost also prophesied through the mouth of King David of the kingdom of Christ to be established in the earth after he appears again to the world to judge the world:

“All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

For the kingdom is the Lord’s: and he is the governor among the nations.

All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.”(Ps. 22:27-29(

               The LORD God made King David prophesy of the blessing of not only the people of Israel and the church of God in the kingdom of Christ but also the Gentile nations of people that shall repent and receive him by faith through the death of Jesus Christ and his resurrection/ Apostle Paul understood of the blessing in the kingdom of Christ encouraged unto the saints in Corinthian church:

“Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:”(1Cor. 10:32)

           In the final two verses of Psalms 22, King David mad a very important prophesy:

“A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.”(Ps. 22:30-31)

               Yeah! God made a plan to adopt his children (Eph. 1:4-6)through regeneration in the Spirit before the foundation of the world whosoever the Jew or Gentiles believe in Christ Jesus that shall die to take away the sin of the world, and to make them brothers of the Lord Jesus Christ. King David testified of this saying, “a people that shall be born,” “shall declare his righteousness… he hath done this.”

He testified of the righteousness of God that gives salvation unto them through the redemption of sins, even the remission of sins that is given by the blood of Jesus Christ(Col. 1:14).

                Apostle Peter testified of the people that shall be born; thy are the children of God belong to the church of God:

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”(1Pet. 2:9-10)

               Apostle Paul also testified of the children of God that are born again of the Spirit that are the brothers of Jesus Christ in the epistle unto the Hebrews:

“For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.”(Heb. 2:11-13)

               Apostle Paul testified of the brothers of Jesus Christ that is the church of God that are the members of the body of Christ. He understood of the such a amazing grace so that he was willing to rejoice in his sufferings for the church members:

“Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”(Col. 1:24-27)

               God made Apostle Paul testify in the Spirit of the blessing given unto his church giving him the revelation of his church, for God wants his church to understand such a amazing n blessing given unto them. We are able to understand of the blessing that we have received through the letters of Apostle Paul unto the church of Roam as well as unto Ephesians:

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”(Rom. 8:16-18)

“Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”(Eph. 1:20-23)

             The Holy Ghost wants us to understand the glory for the church of God, even the members of the body of Christ through the words given today. Blessed are they that have the ear to hear. Only that understand the words of God could see the glory to receive in the future could fill all kinds of afflictions unto his body for the church of God.

               I pray for all of you that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; the eyes of understanding being enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power(Eph. 1:17-19). Amen! Hallelujah!
