너를 축복하는 자들에게 내가 복을 주고 너를 저주하는 자를 저주하리라.
네 안에서 땅의 모든 족속들이 복을 받을 것이라." 하셨더라. (창 12:3)

Jun. 18, 2017: Looking Forward The Lord, And Renew The Strength To Win Spiritual Warfare

Posted on June 18, 2017
6-18-2017 Weekly Message
The Meditation of the Week: Psalm 42: 1-11
Text: Psalm 73: 1-28
Title of the Word: Looking forward the Lord, and renew the strength to win spiritual warfare
There is a very important thing for God’s children, who have already entered into the spiritual kingdom of God from the world of darkness,  shoud not forget. Before we were saved, we  belonged to the devil, the god of the world, and by nature were children of wrath:
” Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”(Eph. 2:2-3)-3).
But by believing in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ’s grace and being children of God, we are now free from Adam, who sinned from the beginning and has made  all men to be children of the devil from the birth. Now Jesus has received in his body all the sins, deaths, and curses that Adam sprinkled, and has brought us into the last Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ, from the lineage of Adam.
Knowing that the old Israelites were consecrated from all nations, and that they had been promised through Abraham to give them  the priestly nation  and  the devil continually persecuted the Jews for four thousand years There is. Moreover, the devil, knowing the promise of God to heaven and earth, which he gave to the church of God, who became the children of  God by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, and became the children of Abraham, knew that he had not forgotten the last two thousand years of persecution.
Before we were  saved, we  lived in the desert of the earth, and without knowing ourselves the devil who seduced Eve in the Garden of Eden, lived in the fleshly lusts, the lusts of the eyes, and the pride of life, but now we know the true Lord Jesus Christ, and  came out of the course of this world followed and entered into the kingdom of God. The devil, who knows this fact, is persecuting the children of God giving all kinds of troubles considering  God’s children as enemies. It is also more angerful for the devil to know that the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the seed of a woman, will soon bruise him  under the feet of the children of God . Apostle Paul testified about this:
“And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. .” (Romans 16:20)
Asaph, the man of God, confessed to God at that time that he was upset when he saw the prosperity of the wicked:
“But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped. For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.#firm: Heb. fat They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.#in…: Heb. in the trouble of other men#like: Heb. with Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment. Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish. They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily. They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth. Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them. And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High? Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.“(Psalm 73: 2-12)
Asaph said to God at that time about the wicked people and the wicked among the people of God. This confession is about the wicked people living in this evil world and the self-proclaimed Christians. Today tens of thousands of Christians say that their lips believe in and respect God, but they can see their tongues looking around the earth.
As David confessed in his psalms that if a man is honored, he is like a perishing beast (Psalm 49:20). But Asaph did not realize it for a moment and confessed his complaint to God, but finally he confessed:
” When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image. Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee. Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. “(Psalm 73: 16-26)
King  David also confessed that there was a time when his heart was depressed:
”  As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God   My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God? When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.  O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar “(Psalm 42: 2-6)
Apostle Paul also confessed that he had suffered all kinds of difficulty in living a life of preaching the gospel after he was born again:
Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. (2 Cor. 11: 23-27)
Apostle Paul confessed that he was glad for Christ when he spoke of all the weakness, insults, poverty, persecution, and distress he had suffered through such suffering and persecution. For that reason, he experienced and confessed the power of Christ in him when he became weak:
”  Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (2 Corinthians 12: 9)
We should engrave the words of Jesus spoken unto his disciples in out heart before he left the world: :
”  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
That is correct! Our soul that  is separated from the body of sin as the dust to be saved coulf overcome all kinds of sufferings  through  the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Ghost dwelling within us.  Before we were save, we were not able to renew our strength ourselves, but now we can do all things through the power given by Christ.(Philippians 4:13). As spoken through the prophet Isaiah, all of us who wait upon  the Lord will rise up with wings like eagle, renewing our strength, and running, not getting tired or weary. (Isaiah 40:31)
Amen! Hallelujah!
