Meditations on this week: Psalm 99: 1-9

Text: Matthew 24: 15-51

The title of the Word: The abomination of destruction that will soon stand in holy places, and our hope

              When asked by his disciples to teach them about what would be the last time two thousand years ago, the Lord explained it in a very detailed and easy to understand way. True Christians in the Holy Spirit will be able to understand the meaning of these words. The only hope of the Lord’s disciples at that time was that they believed in the Lord’s promise that the Lord would judge the world and give His power to judge the twelve tribes of Israel when He established His kingdom on earth.

             In today’s text, in the Lord’s words, we must realize the very important things we need to know. He told the disciples that they were blessed with ears to hear when He spoke of Kingdom of heaven, the kingdom He would build on earth in the future (Matthew 13). What we say in the text today is a spiritual blindness if we do not understand it today.

            He said that the abomination of destruction that the Lord spoke through the prophet Daniel would be seen in the holy place. The prophet Daniel prophesied of the abomination of destruction:

” And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time…. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.. “(Dan. 7:25; 9:27)

            For them that understood Jesus  also said that when it happened, those in Judea would flee to the mountains. He told them to rush away on the roof or in the fields, not into the house. He also said that there would be wrath with those who are infants and suckers because they will be struck by death if they do not flee quickly.

          The Lord also told them to pray that the evacuation would not take place in winter or on the Sabbath before it happened. English King James bible told the Bible that the word, “flee” as “flight”. In the book of Revelation, John the Apostle, who had seen this scene beforehand in the Holy Spirit, said in his book of Revelation, ” And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.”(Revelation 12:14).

           The Lord then asked them why they should flee, for there will be a great uprising at that time, since there has never been and never will have been since the beginning of the world. But he will shorten the days for the elect, “(Matthew 24: 21-22). This is the one and two and half times Daniel and the apostle speak, and Daniel testified that three and a half years after the midst of one week, he would sit in this holy temple, the abomination of destruction. The Apostle Paul testified beforehand that the Son of perdition, the Antichrist, would sit in the temple and say that he is God, and that the sacrifice to God be abolished and given to him as the prophet Daniel prophesied (2 Thess. 2: 4).

       The Lord also sent General Titus in Rome to judge the Jews who had killed them after he had left, preaching and saddening them that they would destroy Jerusalem and the temple on the stone, but not leave it. ” O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.“(Matthew 23: 37- 39)

              It is because the Jews must enter the Great Tribulation and suffer tremendous suffering under the Antichrist for three and a half years because they must reap as they have sown. The Lord spoke clearly to the Jews who did not believe Him and did not receive Him: ”   I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?John 5: 43-44)

              That is correct! Jews or Gentiles who say to believe in God or believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and not deny themselves, seeking their own glory instead of their own cross, will enter the Great Tribulation and receive the Antichrist who comes in His name .

            The Lord said in one word that there would be miserable slaughter in the Great Tribulation: ” For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.” (Matthew 24:28)

Job also testified beforehand in the Holy Spirit what the Lord would say: ” She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place. From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off. Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she. “(Job 39: 28-30)

           The Lord Jesus said that after the Great Tribulation the sun will be darkened, the moon will not shine, the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken from heaven to earth. He said that at that time all the nations who did not believe in him would come to see him coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory in wailing.

         To the saints of Thessalonica, who had longed for Christ to appear before the Great Tribulation and take them to the heavenly home while witnessing the gospel of Christ to the Jews, suffering mass persecution from the Jews, Apostle Paul testified about the season  of rapture that is the day of Christ, as it is now and for all the born-again Christians on earth: ” Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:“(2 Thessalonians 2: 1-4, 7-8)

          Nowadays, most churches   on  the earth are already filled with Satan’s deception such as philosophy, not the fullness of the one that fill in all that is Christ. We are  living while watching the extreme apostasy. Now, as soon as the Antichrist, the son of the abominable ruin, appears, our Lord comes down from heaven with the voice of the archangel and the sound of the trumpet of God to lift the  church of God that is the body of Christ that is his bride.

           We have to keep the faith looking forward the day with the words of the prophesied God in our hearts. The Sanhedrin Council that  accused of the old Jesus, is organized in Israel and asked the United States and Russia to help to  build the third temple, and they already promised to help. Even China agreed on this. The two temples built in the past were destroyed by Babylon, the second by Rome. Now, as soon as the third temple is built, it is a matter of time before the appearance of the Antichrist, the son of perdition. Already all building materials have been secured long ago, and red cows are being prepared as sacrifices. Now, as we prepare ourselves for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, who will soon appear, and prepare for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, we will prepare ourselves for the cleansing of this church as the bride of Christ..

          Therefore, at the end of the Great Tribulation, when we come down with the Lord and judge together, we will be able to enjoy the power and glory of judging both the Antichrist who persecuted us and all nations together. John the Apostle testified  in the Holy Spirit of  the sight of the Lord coming and judging the Son of the perdition that is Antichrist and all the nations: ”  

 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.… And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND Lord OF LORDS.“(Revelation 19: 1- 16, 19-21)

            The Lord has given us warning and blessings about what life we ​​should be looking at this day:

”  Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame..” (Revelation 16:15) Amen! Hallelujah!
