The contemplation of the week: Psalm 45: 1-17

Text: Ephesians 2: 11-22

The title of the book: A Great Blessing, From The Gentiles To Be God’s Family

           God said that everyone in the world should listen to his word:  Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:#for: or, of Both low and high, rich and poor, together.” (Psalm 49: 11-2)

       Some of the people who are born and live in the world  are born in low places, some are born in a high royal palace, some are born in economically wealthy houses, others are miserably born in a beggar’s house  

        Because of this, many of those who are  born in a poor family,  and have to go through hardship complain saying,  the world is unfair. In the end, we  see them  grumbling with God.

        But God is telling people to listen to God’s Word no matter where they are. No matter how wealthy or lonely they may be born, if you do not listen to God’s Word, you will eventually become unhappy. Even if you are born in a low position or in a poor place, do not complain, but if you listen to God’s Word, you will receive eternal blessings from God.  

              As to the reason God asks his people to listen to His word, ” That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption. For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others. Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.#all… Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish. “(Psalm 49: 9-12)

          Towards all of them  that are complaining,   God is saying, all men are  born fair. The people of the world are lamenting their own miserable situation  in a short moment like the fog of a moment when all the thoughts are gone for a while, but when God sees everyone in the eternal world, he is paradoxically speaking that he is cursed like a perishing beast, I will.

           Because of this, God sees  that all those whom he himself has created from his mother’s womb  have  to be born in sin, death, and curses because of Satan.  Jesus, who had not created everything in vain, spoke unto Nicodemus, a hypocrite  sinner  ” For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

           Before Jesus said this, he said that man should be born again (John 3: 3, 5). This means that the first birth is born as a miserable sinner, born of sin, death, and curses, born out of an unfair world, but believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, born again of  the Holy Spirit in the kingdom of God,  For if we receive life that does not die for eternity, it is natural that we will be completely freed from sin, death, and cursing in this time, into righteousness, life, and blessings. Therefore, God loves all who are born in this world, and he has given the opportunity to believe in God wherever he may be, without discrimination. Therefore, God is speaking to all people to listen to His word and understand them   not to grumble against God but to praise  God.

            God saw that the first man sinned  in this world, and that everyone should be born in sin, and that the seed of the woman would bruise the head of  the devil that brought sin. Jesus, who spoke to Nicodemus, is  the seed of the woman God spoke to the serpent six thousand years ago before his coming.

            God has made His only begotten Son to be a woman’s seed   to appear in this world to destroy the devil who has held the power of sin, death, and curse. He made a covenant with Abraham two  thousand years before he came to send his only begotten Son, the seed of the  woman, to the world, and to bless all nations in him (Gen. 12: 1-3). After choosing Abraham’s grandson Jacob and giving him a new name, he made his descendants a chosen nation, and God himself declared that he was the husband  of the nation Israel, and made the nation of Israel a woman.. The Holy Spirit spoke to the apostle Paul about the seed of Abraham. That is to say, who is the woman’s seed:

” Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. “(Galatians 3:16)

                He who believes in Him is not destroyed by sin, death, and cursing, but that he is willing to bless eternal life, ” Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.“(Galatians 3: 13-14).

            In the text given to us this day, we are told that we were Gentiles who had not received circumcision. We were also  foreigners who ware separated from the Lord Jesus Christ, the promised seed, who was not of the kingdom of Israel, unfamiliar with the covenants of promise, with no hope, no God in the world.

         But now that we once were far away, we are now closed   by Christ’s blood in Christ Jesus. This is not to say that only the Jews have the authority to believe in Christ, but that God has given that opportunity to all the world. Everyone who believes in the blood of Christ is given the blessing of being a child of God by receiving God’s blood, just as a person is born with the blood of the Father and born as a child. Jesus told the Jews first about this, but most of them did not believe: ” Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.  Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.  He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him., (John 5: 53-56)

          Therefore, everyone who believes that the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is for redeeming from the sin, death, and curse of the law , whether   the  Jew or the Gentile receive the Holy Spirit without discrimination and come to the Father by the Holy Spirit. In other word, the Church of God is the gathering of the children of God to form the family of God. In other word, we, who are  born as spiritual beggars, received tremendous blessings of being adopted again as children of God.

        This tremendous blessing has been exhorted to the Church of God and the members of the Body of Christ through the apostle Paul, who was kept in prison by the Holy Spirit;

” I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. “(Ephesians 4: 1-6)

           The blessings we received as members of the body of Christ in the church of God who came to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ after the Holy Spirit came to this world after the day of Pentecost  , cannot be expressed in human words.. In other word, it is a mysterious grace that natural persons without Holy Spirit cannot understand. However, those who are born of the Holy Spirit by believing in the blood of Christ are easily understood by the teaching of the Holy Spirit. The Apostle Paul said, ”  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.….  who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.“(I Corinthians 2: 14,16).

            Great number  of people have been  born and have left for four thousand years until Christ came to this world to fulfill our righteousness. For two thousand and five hundred years from Adam, there were times when people had to follow conscience without law. There were also some who lived under the law, and there were many gentiles who were not of Israel even after the law was given. The Holy Spirit made the Apostle Paul testify of the many who lived without the law: ” For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. “(Romans 2: 14-16).

The Apostle John testified on the Day of Judgment what he saw about the judgment of the White Throne  of God, judged by the work of conscience (Revelation 20: 11-15).

           That is correct! God is  love and the God of justice who saves people by all ages. The Holy Spirit has testified through the psalmist to the multitudes who will live in God’s kingdom with God forever and ever:

 ” Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house; So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him… The king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold. She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee. With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king’s palace. Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth “(Psalm 45: 9-11, 13-16)

          The Holy Spirit witnessed through the apostle Paul to testify of the church of God, the bride of Christ, the King sitting   on the right hand of the King, with the gold of Ophil: ” But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.“(Ephesians 2: 4-7).

            That is correct! The Church of God’s children born of the Holy Spirit is already spiritually resurrected with Christ and sitting with Christ on the right side of the throne of God. Therefore, we are no longer on earth, but are blessed in heaven. I pray for all of you to understand deeply.. Amen! Hallelujah!
