너를 축복하는 자들에게 내가 복을 주고 너를 저주하는 자를 저주하리라.
네 안에서 땅의 모든 족속들이 복을 받을 것이라." 하셨더라. (창 12:3)

Nov. 1, 2015: The Ministry of Ambassador for Christ Constrained by the Love of Christ

Posted on November 1, 2015
11-1-2015 weekly message
Meditation of the week: Psalms 133:1-3
Main scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:14-21
Subject: The ministry of Ambassador for Christ constrained by the love of Christ
Apostle Paul testifies of the motive that he became the servant of God. The love of Christ was so much great unto him, and constrained him, for Jesus Christ so much loved him, and visited him personally to save. The Holy Ghost constrained him saying that he died for all, that they which love should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
He testified unto the saints in Rome:
“knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.”(Rom. 6:6,7)
He encouraged them that he testified to reckon also themselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord (Rom. 6:11). Therefore, reckoning no more life unto sins, but live unto God, to neither yield their members unto sin, but yield themselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and their members as instruments of righteousness unto God (Rom. 6:13).
In the main passage, he encourages unto the saints in Corinthians church in the same manner. Even now, the Holy Ghost also encourages us to do same thing. He also testified unto the saints in Ephesians saying, the body of the children of God are still living in the wicked world, but spiritually they already died with Christ on the cross; and their born again spirit is set at the right hand of God with Christ in heaven in the Spirit (Eph. 2:5,6)
Yeah! We are saved, and freed from the wicked world to be in Christ Jesus; and no condemnation at all, for we are all in Christ Jesus spiritually, for the law of the Spirit of life made us free from the law of sin and death (Rom. 8:1,2).
Therefore, we are no more living as the children of Adam, but as the children of the Lord Jesus Christ that is the last Adam, we are no more dwelling in the world, but live as pilgrims. Apostle Peter testified of this:
“Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.”(1Pet. 2:11,12)
In the main passage, Apostle Paul testifies of himself that was dead, but now a new creature in the Holy Ghost. Therefore, he encourages all including himself that are saved through the Lord Jesus Christ not to live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them and rose again.
Yeah! As he testifies, whosoever believes on the Lord Jesus Christ, and born again from the dead through the Holy Ghost already died in the old man as the son of Adam to be the new creature regenerated in the Spirit. Jesus also spoke unto Nicodemus of regeneration through the Holy Ghost:
“Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”(John 3:5)
Yeah! The first birth is from the blood of Adam, and the second one is regeneration through the Holy Ghost from the blood of Christ. Therefore, all things of our old man are passed away, and all things are become new.
We were the enemies of God, before we are bon again in the Holy Ghost through believing in the blood of Jesus Christ. The Devil that has the power of sin and death is the enemy of God. Therefore, all that are born in sin are also enemies of God. But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us as testified by Apostle Paul (Rom. 5:8)
God reconciled us through the sacrifice of his Son, Jesus Christ letting him take over all our sins to die on the cross. The LORD God spoke of Christ that shall come to be the sacrifice for all of us two thousand years before he came to the world:
“And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.”(Gen. 22:7,8)
Finally, Apostle Paul testifies how we live for Christ Jesus in the world. he testifies, all that are reconciled by God to have eternal life have the job of reconciliation between God and men. He testifies of how much glorious job it is; we are the ambassadors for Christ. The Spirit within us is as the letter of nomination of the ambassador written by God so that we may be able to do as the ambassador for Christ.
The Lord Jesus spoke unto all that labor and are heavy laden:
“Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”(Matt. 11:28-30)
Yeah! It is not a heavy burden for us not to live unto us, but unto him that died for us all, and rose again. The ministry of ambassador is only to do on behalf of the president in his home land according to the instruction made by him, not by his thoughts. he is able to live with his families in peace in the midst of performing his job of ambassador. We are also able to abide with our families in the world under God’s blessing in the midst of doing as the ambassadors of our Father God in heaven that is our heavenly kingdom.
As the Lord Jesus said, the job of ambassador given unto us is not heavy laden, but rather easy and graceful one. We only have to say unto anyone that we come across in the daily life to reconcile to God. And we only have to preach the gospel that is death of Christ for them, and his resurrection the third day. Whosoever believe in the gospel of reconciliation, and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior shall be reconciled to God.
But one thing that is very important that we should know is that we only have to preach the gospel of reconciliation. Then, the Holy Ghost will help them to reconcile to God through his power. Apostle Paul testified unto the saints in Corinthians of this:
“And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”(1Cor. 2:1-5)
