This week’s meditation: Psalms 39:1-13

Scripture: Isaiah 64: 5-12

Word Title: Is it that difficult to understand as sinner before God?

          Looking down the world filled with death and curses because of sin, God so loved  the world to send his only begotten Son for him die for the sin of the world. But unfortunately, most of people not try think of the reason why they have to die after all , but busy for what they need daily life. King David prayed unto the LORD God thinking of them:

“Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.  Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth no who shall gather them.  And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee. “(Psalm 39: 5-7).

            King David considered himself  righteousness, and prayed unto God, saying “See my righteousness” But after he committed sins of adulteries  and  murder, he finally understood of himself born as a sinner  form mother’s womb; He prayed unto God of repentance. :

” Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my motheR conceive me. (Psalm 51: 5)

            King David prayed unto the LORD God with sympathy for the Jews that are so busy to pile up materials in the midst of sinning every day..

           That’s right! God chose Israelites  as his own people, and gave them the  law through Moses so that they might understand the reason why they have to die. But they were satisfied with bringing sacrificing offerings that died for their sins for their forgiveness of sins. They not realized that they were sinning because of their birth as sinners. They not understood that their sacrificing offering only cleansed their flesh , not the sins in their hearts. Apostle Paul testified of this unto the Hebrews:       

 ” For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: “(Hebrews 9: 13-14)

            However, most of the Jews  have the special privilege of the law that they received, and consider the Gentiles as nothing. They respect Moses more than Jesus Christ.

              The LORD God that gave then the law through Moses appeared them to have them understand of themselves as sinners once again. But the Jews not realized  that only the blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse the sins in their heart affected by the religious leaders. Their leaders were pride of keeping the law. They were ended up killing Jesus , their redeemer by his blood. Jesus warned the hypocrites badly because  only clean their outside, but so dirt within: 

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.  Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. “(Matthew 23: 25-28)

            So Jesus rebuked them showing the bones of the dead as well as all uncleanness inside of them:

 ” That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.  For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,  Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:  All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. “(Mark 7: 20-23)

           In addition, Jesus said to the hypocrites who claim that there is no such a dirty things within them:

 ” But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”(Matthew 5:28)

             At that time almost of people whether the Jews or the  Gentiles not believed the words of the Lord Jesus Christ; he was crucified shedding his blood and waters  looking forward the day when they understand his words, and cleanse their sins in their heart through repentance. he sent the Holy Ghost in his name after he rose again from the dead..

               The Holy Ghost, the Comforter  has been reprove the world without ceasing of sin, and of righteousness, and of  judgment for last two thousand years. He testifies of sin, because they not believe in Jesus. Of sin, no one can go to the Father God in heaven unless their sins  in the conscience are cleansed by the blood of Jesus. And of judgment, the prince of the world is judged, because Jesus Christ took away the sin of the world, and overcame  the devil that has the power of death through his resurrection. Finally, the Holy Ghost urging the world not to follow the world, but to have the hope in the kingdom of God. (John 16: 8-11 )

             The prophet Isaiah had foretold about the day when the Jews shall understand themselves as sinners. They shall realized of themselves when the LORD God divide heavens to come down to judge the Jews as well as the Gentile nations that not believed in him :

” Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. “(Isaiah 64: 5-6).

           The prophet Isaiah  prophesied of the Jews that they shall  be judged miserably by God because they not believed in the Lord Jesus Christ their Messiah at the end the Great Tribulation:

: ” Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste. Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O Lord? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore? “(Isa. 64: 10-12)?

         That’s right! God gave the Torah to the Jews as an example so that all men in the world may understand themselves as sinners. But the Jew have been failed to realize themselves as sinners through the law. They shall come the Lord Jesus Christ after they pay for their sins miserably. For the last 2,000 years, the Holy Ghost have used his servants to preach the gospel of grace reproving of sin. Whosoever repents upon  hearing the gospel receive the eternal life through the Holy Ghost through cleansing their conscience . When time is fulfilled, such a grace shall be ended. After the Lord Jesus Christ reign in the earth for thousand years, there shall be the final judgment. God has given the world enough time for last 3,500 years since the law was given. The final judgment shall be for them that insist their own righteousness. Apostle John testified of this:

 ” And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire“(Revelation 20: 11-15)
