너를 축복하는 자들에게 내가 복을 주고 너를 저주하는 자를 저주하리라.
네 안에서 땅의 모든 족속들이 복을 받을 것이라." 하셨더라. (창 12:3)

Sep. 25, 2016: Our Judge, Lord Jesus Christ

Posted on September 25, 2016
9-25-2016 Weekly Message
This week’s meditation: Proverbs 18: 1-24
Scripture Psalm 50: 1-23
Word Title: Our Judge, Lord Jesus Christ
The LORD God revealed his name unto Moses as  “I AM THAT I AM” when he asked his name. He showed himself as  God the Absolute. Afterwards God spoke unto Moses his name as JEHOVAH:
” And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them.” (Exodus 6:03)
King David prayed testifying the LORD God as JEHOVAH:
” That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth..” (Psalm 83:18)
The prophet Isaiah also testified of JEHOVAH, the LORD God of Israel:
” Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation…. For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. “(Isa. 12:02; 25: 4).
In the main passage , Asaph testifies of JEHOVAH as the Judge against Israel that received the Law:
” Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.“ (Psalm 50: 5-6)
When the LORD God comes to Zion with fire and stormy wind from heaven, he will judge Israel according to the Law given to them. He will not reprove them for their sacrifices or burnt offerings, to have been continually before him. The LORD God rather want thanksgiving offering that sacrifices and burnt offerings. And he wants them to pay their vow unto the most High that they pledged to keep the Law of God. But even though they enter into the Great Tribulation because they not pay their vow, he will deliver them from the Tribulation to glorify him when they cry unto the LORD with repentance.
But for the wicked people that reject to repent to the end, they shall be judged miserably:
” But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my  statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee. When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son. These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.“(Psalm 50: 16-22 )
Asaph  testifies of what they may please God once again:
” Whoso offereth  praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.” (Psalm 50:23)
In the final verse in the book of Psalms, God commands to praise the LORD, whosoever that has breath:
” Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” (Psalm 150: 6)
Apostle Paul testified of the will of God in Christ Jesus saying, Rejoice evermore, Pray without ceasing, and in every thing give thanks.   (1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18)
Apostle Peter testified of the name of JEHOVAH, the LORD unto Israel, but since the Holy Ghost came to the world in the name of Jesus Christ,  JESUS became the Lord for the children of God :
“Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. ” (Acts 2:36)
When they the Jews knew of Jesus that is JEHOVAH manifested in flesh, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, and said, “What shall we do?”
That’s right! Since Jesus took away the sin of the world on the cross for the Jews and the Gentiles without discrimination shedding the waters and blood, Jesus Christ became the Judge. Therefore all the members of the church of God that believe on the Lord Jesus Christ have to come forward to the Judgment Seat of Christ in the day when Christ appear in the air.
As the LORD God never reprove the people of Israel for their sacrifices and burnt offerings, he will not reprove the children of God the sacrifice that are offered by them. For the sacrifice that is offered in the days of New Testament is Jesus Christ himself, the only begotten Son of God.
The LORD God commands the people Israel to make their behavior right. The word of God also command to make their behavior  right expecting to be judged according to their conversation. Apostle Paul testifies of this :
” We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.… For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.  “(2 Corinthians 5: 8-10 Rom. 14: 8-10)
King David testified of them that utters wicked words to be judged by God:
” The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things” (Psalm 12:03)
He also testified of them that shall dwell in the holy mountain of God in the future:
, “He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour .”(Ps 15:3)
King Solomon, the man of wisdom testified of the way to use the tongue of man::
” The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth…. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”(Proverbs 10:20; 18:21).
The Apostle James was also witness to what happens when an evil tongue will be used to:
” And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: “(James 3: 6,7).
But they that are filled with the Holy Spirit shall be blessed, fir they say according to the utterance of the Spirit. In other word, whenever they say , they shall reap the fruit of the Spirit:
” But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. “(Galatians 5: 22-24)
The Apostle Paul testified about the actions for them that have the dwelling of the Spirit within :
“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
 “(Eph. 4: 30-32). Amen! Hallelujah!
