The contemplation of the week: Psalm 45: 1-17

Text: I Peter 2:1-15

The title of the Word: The Church Of God That Became The Chosen Generation, The Royal Priesthood, The Holy Nation, And  A Peculiar People

          The Apostle Peter testifies of the best blessings of the Church of God that is the children of God as well as  the body of Jesus Christ, chosen through obedience and the blooming of Jesus Christ, through the sanctification of the Holy Spirit following His Father’s foreknowledge 1: 2).

          Through the same Spirit, the apostle Paul made the same testimony:

” According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world that we should  be holy and without blame before him love. Having predestinated us into the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. To the praise of the glory of the grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved……For whom he did foreknow, he also predestinate, them he also called; and whom he called, them also  he  justified ; and whom he justified, them he also glorified. “(Ephesians 1: 4-6, Romans 8: 29-30).

         As the two apostles testified, according to the foreknowledge of God, the chosen generations, royal priests, and holy nation, for the blessings of the Church of God, which was justified through the Holy Spirit, justified by the Lord Jesus Christ, It is evidence that it has become a unique people.

         We must realize what spiritual positions the Church of God has meant through Scripture. If you do not, you will not only enjoy these spiritual best blessings, but you will not be able to live in them.

         First, in order to know how it has become a chosen generation, God calls Abraham and in the covenant of blessings he can see how the Church of God is bestowed this best blessing.

         When God spoke to Abraham, he said, “I will bless them who bless you and curse him who curse you, and in you  will be blessed of all the tribes of the earth” (Genesis 12: 3) And that all the tribes of the earth will be blessed through a man who will be born into the world.

         The one who appears as a descendant of Abraham through the Holy Spirit has realized that the seed of the woman in the Garden of Eden who said that the seed of the woman would destroy the head of the serpent was the Lord Jesus Christ who appeared to Abraham as a descendant of Abraham . At the same time, the blessing was not the limited life of the flesh, but the eternal life through the Holy Spirit:

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us ; for it is written , Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree/ That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith…..Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not , And to seeds, as of many, but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. “(Galatians 3:13, 14, 16)

         Therefore, those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, whom God has chosen as the only,  the Jews or the Gentiles are born of the Holy Spirit through the blood of Christ and enter into the spiritual kingdom of God in Christ. Apostle Paul also testified that the chosen generation became the  family of God. :

“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and the household of God.  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself  being the chief corner stone. In whom all the building  fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord.  In whom ye also are builded together  for an habitation of God through  the Spirit.”  (Ephesians 2: 19-22)

           That is correct! A new generation, which did not exist for four thousand years before Christ came, has become a new generation of the Church of God for the past two thousand years, by believing in the blood of His shedding by taking away the sin of the world by His coming and dying .

           The Lord Jesus Christ, who redeemed all the sins of the law with his own blood, went up to the heavenly sanctuary with his blood, and now is the high priest, interceding for the church of God. He also established the church of God, who became a helping hand, as a royal priest. The priest who was in the Old Testament days did the work of the people for the remission of sins by taking sacrifices for the sake of their sins, pouring all the blood under the altar, and giving all flesh and gut on the altar as a burnt offering.

           But now no more sacrifices are needed to be forgiven of their sins. Apostle Paul testified to the Hebrews:“In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, lo, I come ((in the volume of the book it is written  of me) to do the will, O God. Above when he said, sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not , neither hadst pleasur therein; which are offered by the law. Then said he, lo, I came to do thy will O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all……But this man , aaafter he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, and sat down on the right hand of God. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.” (Hebrews 10: 6-10, 12, 13)

           That is correct! Jesus, who appeared on earth to remove the sin of the world, became a lamb and removed the sin of the world by sacrificing himself for the sins of the world once. But those who have received the Holy Spirit by believing in Him are priests of this day have to work as priests for them who  confess as sinners, preach them  of the Lord Jesus Christ who because the sacrifice for them so that they believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to receive the remission of sins

           Just before the risen Jesus ascended to heaven, he commanded the disciples saying, “But ye shall receive power, rafter theh the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the world.”  (Acts 1: 8) The command is to say through the Holy Spirit that he died for the sins of all the world, and that by his death only once, the sins of all who believe will be forgiven for him. In other words, it is a direct order of the priest to do his best by preaching the gospel of Christ’s grace. In addition, when he was faithful in doing this, he became a royal priesthood, as he said through the parable of Pound, that he would give power to reign on the earth, for someone ten city, or for someone else five cities, when  the Lord Jesus Christ return to the earth as the KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORD.

          God has made the Church of God, which sanctified through his blood, be a pure  bride of the Lord Jesus Christ, and made it a peculiar nation that cannot be found in the nations of the world as a holy nation. The Apostle Paul testified that God still works to make the church of God, which is a holy nation, glorious: “Then he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water of the word. Then he might present it to himself a glorious church, and not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. “(Ephesians 5: 26-27)
