Title: Those who listen to the words of the Lord will live
Apostle John testifies of the One who was the Word in the beginning and was with God became a man and appeared in the name of Jesus and called him as a disciple:
He was the disciple who always listened closely to Jesus, saying that he was the disciple whom Jesus loved. He personally heard the words of Jesus near at him, and looked closely leaning on his knee, and touched him with his hands. He made detailed testimony of Jesus as the word of life more than any other disciples.
He could see and feel the fullness of grace and truth in Jesus. He knew more about Jesus than any other disciples. The Jews at that time saw Jesus and saw what He was doing, but they knew nothing but that He was the son of Joseph the Carpenter of Nazareth. All of them pursued only the things of the flesh, so they could not know that Jesus is the Creator God and that eternal life dwells in him.
Because He is no longer in the world in the flesh, we cannot see him with our eyes, and we can no longer hear what he says, and we cannot touch him either. No one can live with him like his old disciples and nor hear directly from him the words of his life. So how can we receive the life that is in him?
Jesus spoke of the way to receive the eternal life to them who at that time were spiritually dead because of their ignorance without their disobedience and unbelief: :
Before Jesus died, he told his disciples that it would be good for them to leave them. They could not understand what Jesus was talking about his departure to make it good for them. Jesus spoke of the reason, with the words that the Holy Spirit, the Comforter and Spirit of truth, could not come unless he left them:
Jesus foretold that when the Holy Ghost come, the words of the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms, which were written through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, as well as the words of God written in the New Testament through the apostles, would take the place of His words. Apostle Paul testified of all the Scriptures:
Therefore, in this age, the only way to see Jesus, who gives eternal life, as Apostle John, to touch Him, and to hear His voice is no other way unless we look deeply into the written Word of God. Even in Jesus’ day, He had given the Jews the words of life countless times, but they could not receive eternal life because they did not listen and not looked closely at Him.
In the Old Testament times, the LORD God had not spoken his words unto the Jews for four thousand years since prophet Malachi, because they did not repent from worshipping idols and serving the Gentile nations. God comforted them through the prophet Isaiah, knowing himself of double chastening against them Finally, through the prophet Isaiah, Jesus Christ, the light of life was prophesied of the appearing in the land of Israel:
However, most of them rejected the kingdom of heaven that had come upon them, and killed their King, Jesus Christ, not receiving the words of life. They joined with the servants of Satan..
The gospel of Christ, which God gives grace for the past two thousand years, regardless of whether Jews or Gentiles whosoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ has been testified through Apostle Paul. (1 Cor. 15:1-3)
Sooner or later God will appear with the heavenly clouds in the air to take his children of God home in heaven. calling their names. Apostle Paul testified of this:
However, with the Rapture, the Age of Grace shall be ended, and Jews and Gentiles who do not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and the unregenerate churches of God shall experience great suffering when the day of the Lord comes as they undergo trials in the great tribulation ruled by the Antichrist. The prophet Zechariah prophesied of what would happen in the day of the Lord that the day of judgment:
God will open the gates of heaven and destroy the armies of all nations who are united with the Antichrist And the Second Coming Lord Jesus Christ will destroy them all and will establish His Kingdom in the earth:
