너를 축복하는 자들에게 내가 복을 주고 너를 저주하는 자를 저주하리라.
네 안에서 땅의 모든 족속들이 복을 받을 것이라." 하셨더라. (창 12:3)

Meditation of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16
Text: Job 21:22-26
Sermon Title: Who can deceive saying no burning HELL testified by Jesus?
The prophet Isaiah spoke of what God said as he looked upon the inhabitants of the earth:
“It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
23 That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.
24 Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.” (Isaiah 40:22-24).
That’s right! God the Creator said that people are like worms, seeing how the people he created live in sin and do not know where they are going after death.
God chose a man named Job, and in order for him to represent man and make him realize that man is like a worm. God allowed Satan to take him in his hand as he please.  But God told Satan not to touch his life. God wanted to show men how much miserable they are to be as worms.
Finally, Satan set off a storm, killing his ten brothers and sisters in one morning. Satan then used his servants to confiscate all of his property. Not only that, when Satan struck him, he made him look like a leper all over his body. His wife cursed him and left him.
In the midst of this, he opened his mouth and spoke about the hardships he had endured:
” My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin is broken, and become loathsome.… My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin is broken, and become loathsome..” (Job 7:5;17;14)
Nevertheless, Job, who was a righteous man at that time time, testified that even if his body was destroyed, he would see God in a new body when the Redeemer appears on the Day of Resurrection:
” For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:” (Job 19:25-26).
He testified of the fate of those who live without faith in God and perish:
“One dieth in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet.
24 His breasts are full of milk, and his bones are moistened with marrow.
25 And another dieth in the bitterness of his soul, and never eateth with pleasure.
26 They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them.” (Job 21:23-26).
He also testified of how unclean people like worms are:
“Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?” (Job 25:5-6)
Jesus Himself spoke of Hell, to which those who are as unclean as worms go:
“And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.  ” (Mark 9:43-49).
During his lifetime, Job was covered with worms all over his body and suffered as if he had fallen into hell. As Jesus said, there are worms in hell. When he spoke of their worms, the souls of those who are thrown into hell will be covered with worms for eternity . But Christians who have been saved will prosper in the image of Christ when Jesus Christ comes, but those who do not believe in Him thrown into hell will be transformed into the image of the devil, which is the image of the Antichrist. Satan the Devil is a snake, a great worm.
The prophet Isaiah also testified of the hell he saw:
” And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.” (Isaiah 66:24).
To Jacob, God’s chosen one, God called him a worm:
“Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel..” (Isaiah 41: 14-16)
Jesus saw all the people living in the world going down the road to destruction like worms, and loved them, so he suffered for sinners like worms, hung on the cross, and became like a worm like the old Job, without blemish from head to toe, and he received the penalty of hell for sinners.  Therefore,  if man does not believe in the gospel that He died for our sins according to the scriptures and , was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures, he will have no choice but to go into the eternal fire of hell to be worms. All people in the world have already sinned with their hands, feet, and eyes, so they cannot enter the kingdom of God where God’s glory is. When Jesus was crucified, he said that he was a worm:
” But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.‘” (Psalm 22:6-8).
The Apostle Paul testified of the only way for sinners to enter the kingdom of God without becoming worms and entering Hell, an eternal fire that cannot be quenched:
 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law..” (Romans 3:23- 28)
Satan the Devil, who executed Jesus Christ like a worm on the cross, does everything possible to persecute his bride, the Christians, and make them like worms. After realizing it, I enjoyed the blessing of meeting God, and I was blessed twice in the last year. The hardships Christians face today are rather an opportunity for blessing to become more spiritually purified through hardships. The prophet Daniel prophesied of what would happen in the last days:
” Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” (Daniel 12:10).
The Apostle Paul testified that his sufferings were rather empowering:
” If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.… If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.…. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” ( 1 Corinthians 4:13; Corinthians 15:19, 2 Corinthians 12:10).
As the apostle Paul testified of his hope, he hoped for the glory of becoming a part of Christ at his coming and meeting him gloriously on the day of Christ to rule in the world to come.
He testified to the pastor Timothy that if we endure, we will reign with Christ (2 Timothy 2:12).
However, to the end, all who do not believe in Jesus Christ will be thrown into the eternal lake of fire:
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:15).
Amen! Hallelujah!
