너를 축복하는 자들에게 내가 복을 주고 너를 저주하는 자를 저주하리라.
네 안에서 땅의 모든 족속들이 복을 받을 것이라." 하셨더라. (창 12:3)

Meditation of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16
Text: Song of Solomon 2:1-13
Word Title: Prophetic message in the song between Solomon and the Shulamite woman
Jesus said to the Jews not believing in him, ” Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life..” (John 5:39-40).
When Jesus met his disciples after his resurrection, he said, ” These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.” (Luke 24:44). You said.
In the Old Testament, written before Jesus appeared to the world, there are types of Jesus Christ who will appear in the future. The Apostle Paul testified that Adam was a type of Jesus Christ who was to come (Romans 5:14), and that Jesus Christ was the last Adam and became a quickning Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45). Also, Abraham’s only son Isaac is a shadow of Jesus who went up to Mount Moriah (Calvary) carrying a wooden cross, and Joseph, Solomon, and David are also shown as the types of Jesus Christ to come.
King Solomon, a type of Jesus Christ, said to the Sulamite woman: ” I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.” (Sol 2:1).
The words spoken through the mouth of King Solomon are that Jesus Christ will come to the world in the future and made the final prayer, like a pure white lily, and will ascend to the Mount Olive through Kidron Valley with his disciples, and will judge the world after the great tribulation He was telling in advance about the beauty of the millennial kingdom that will be revealed when the kingdom of Christ is established on the earth.
The prophet Isaiah prophesied of the future coming of Jesus Christ as the Rose of Sharon:
“The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.” (Isaiah 35:1-2).
Sharon means a fertile plain, and when Jesus Christ establishes his millennial kingdom on the earth in the future, ” in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.” (Isaiah 35:6) prophesied by the prophet Isaiah. At this time, the rose of Sharon that blooms in the fertile land will be a truly beautiful rose, not the thorny rose growing in the present world.  The whole earth shall be a beautiful land, free of thorns and thistles because of the sin of the first man (Genesis 3:18). Our Lord Jesus Christ will personally reign like the rose of Sharon in the beautiful land he establish.
King Solomon went on to say about his bride, the Sulamite woman:
“As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.” (Sol 2:2).
The lilies that bloom in the middle of the thorns are pierced by thorns whenever the wind blows and suffers. But even in pain, the lilies emit fragrance. This is speaking of Christians who, like the Shulamite woman, who has become the bride of Christ, must live in the world and be pierced by words like thorns that come out of the mouths of sinners There is joy in fellowship among Christians, exchanging beautiful fragrances with each other, but when we go out and witness the word like a double-edged sword to sinners, the world will smell the scent of death. The Apostle Paul testified of these two kinds of fragrances:
“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 2:14-17).
In response to King Solomon’s words, the Shulamite woman is speaking. It is a duet of love offered by his bride in response to the words of Christ:
“As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.
4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
5 Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick of love. ” (Sol 2:3-5)
Although it is not shown in the Bible what the raptured and glorified bride of Christ shall eat.  Looking at the apple tree shown here, looking at the millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ and the fruit trees in the New Jerusalem cities, the representative fruit among fruits is the apple. We can only imagine how sweet the fruits of the trees that bear fruit every month in the Millennium Kingdom and the New Jerusalem will be.
Through the prophecies witnessed by the prophet Ezekiel and the Apostle John, we are able to foresee in the Holy Ghost how sweet fruits are to be tasted in the future:
“And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine. …. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.“( Ezekiel 47:12, Rev 22:2)
The Shulamite woman, who was loved by Solomon, confesses that she is sick of love. Her word is also a confession made by Christians who are the bride of Christ who have receives the Lord’s love to the fullest, through  the Holy Ghost. This disease is because of love from above from the Lord in the Holy Ghost.  D.L. Moody was overwhelmed  with the pouring love of the Lord. Moody said to the Lord , “Lord stop pouring your love anymore I cannot handle it.”  Indeed, as  Shulamite woman, he was sick of  love. How happy he was? He is known for being so grateful for the Lord’s first love that he won a million souls from the devil and dedicated them to Christ.
The Shulamite woman told of herself  dwelling with King Solomon on her bed. She testified of the love of Christians living in close relationship with Christ Jesus:
“His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.
7 I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please. ” (Sol 2:6-7)
That’s right! The brides who are waiting for Christ to appear  opening the gate of heaven on the day of Christ must live together with maintaining a deep relationship with the Lord. But for such a deep relationship, carnal Christians cannot imagine like the daughters of Jerusalem. Rather, they are filled with jealousy  and cannot understand the Bride of Christ who shares love in the room with the Lord  being sick of love in the love of Christ. The Holy Ghost is speaking to Christians like the Shulamite woman:
” Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD..” (Psalm 27:14)
Amen! Hallelujah!
