Daniel 18

Let’s continue  with Daniel 5:25 through the last verse. [ And this is the writing that was written, Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin.²⁶ This is the interpretation of the thing: Mene; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.²⁷ Tekel; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.²⁸ Peres; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.²⁹ Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.³⁰ In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain.³¹ And Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old.]

Historians do not know how Babylon fell. Only God knows. Only God’s Word knows. No matter how much research historians do, they can’t figure this out. Except in the Bible, there is no one who knows that Mede and Persia will appear in the future except Daniel, who had the Holy Spirit at that time.  It’s the same today. There are many nations in the world now, but God has weighed them all on the scales. No country has ever passed on a scale. That’s why Jesus come and take over the land and said that He would rule for a thousand years, the King of kings and Lord of lords.  After that, He will give the kingdom to the Father, and then He will return to the Triune God in the Word of the beginning. That’s why it’s  only been 6,000 years and 6 days of human history, right? Just as He worked for six days and finished it all, and deposed the last king of Babylon Belshazzar and established another nation, now that kingship is never divided, and the kingdom established by our Lord is an eternal kingdom that will never be handed over to another nation.  It’s in Daniel chapter 2, right? People don’t believe that the Lord will come and reign like this. Why? Even if you don’t read the Bible, don’t read it, don’t study it, and study it, you don’t believe it because you don’t have the Holy Spirit. Take a look here. Belshazzar says he’s ruined, but now he’s not, he’s doing it. Not now.  It’s been a while. While doing this, they ate and drank, and gave him a reward, and gave him a third ruler, but did they think they were going to die that night?  It’s the same with life. What are the plans and worries of people who are going to die when they are going to die, and when you look at Christians these days, they are just as worried and anxious,  and what is this?  Lives that don’t know what will happen today. What does life like fly worry about? We just have to eat and drink what you are given, and if you don’t have it, if you have a problem, you should be grateful for it. I’m worried that this is a real person of faith

Anxiety, nervousness, anxiety, irritability, these are people who still have a long way to go. Poor lives. There is nothing different from Belshazzar now.  God wrote the letters, but he wrote them in Aramaic Syriac, so the magicians there would know? Who knows if you write English when you can’t do English  in Korea? But it’s so easy if you go to someone who knows English. What’s more, I’ve written it as an abbreviation now. If you don’t use building  and  bldg  in that case, you don’t know what I mean.  If you use the word ”  please”, you don’t know what it is. And mene, then, in English, it’s  mene, but in fact, it’s actually written like this, minus the vowels, MNA, so you know what I mean? It’s written as an abbreviation, so you understand? You don’t know, right? But Daniel knew.  I knew because I had the Holy Spirit. Your God gives you the gift of tongues, doesn’t he? First, what are dialects? It is a foreign dialect. The second is speaking in tongues in the Holy Spirit  in a one-on-one relationship with God. There aren’t many people who speak in tongues. Very few. You usually speak in tongues in front of people. I don’t do that. The real spiritual tongues are one-on-one  with the Lord in the blanket. Like the newlyweds. There are very few people like that. They’re all speaking in a crappy dialect. That doesn’t mean we don’t recognize dialects. There are people who do it for real. I saw someone just praying and they were speaking in Japanese. Some people speak English. In the old days, the apostles spoke in ten nations on the day of Pentecost. That’s why people were surprised. Since these people are Galileans, how do they speak in our language? That’s what you said, right? So what do you call dialects? He said it was a sign for strangers. If unbelievers and ignorant people who believe in Jesus just speak a foreign language, they are targeted. Dude, there’s definitely something about that guy. How can someone who doesn’t speak Korean speak English? It’s a sign for strangers. That’s what I said. That is why we need to be familiar with the two dialects. I don’t know this very well,  and then the interpreter also interprets when he speaks a foreign language, and the New Version of the Bible says that it is interpreting, so it’s just someone speaking in tongues. You have no way of knowing what you want. I don’t know what to say. That’s why it was such a chaotic time, and the Corinthian church was such a chaotic church. That is why he said to the Corinthian church members, “Do you not know that Christ is in you?   This is what he said to the Corinthian church members. It was a church infested with charismatics today. Recognize gifts. You don’t know how precious gifts are. Without gifts, we cannot do the work of our Lord. Don’t be charismatic. If one’s gifts are above God’s, then one is charismatic. Believing in the Word and believing only in one’s own gifts is Charismatic. Since Satan is also a spirit, he can use any number of false gifts gives. The book of Proverbs says that a false gift is a cloud without rain. I think the clouds should be raining. Clouds without rain are not clouds. This is a false gift. It’s like a cloud without rain. Ah, that’s what I said. That’s why we need to be aware of these words. So here we look, Mene Mene, Mene is God counting the king’s kingdom and ending it. That’s what Daniel interprets to mean. Then Tekel weighed the king on the scales, and the lack appeared, what do you mean? It’s hard for you guys to see the scales these days, right?  What if I go to an antique store or a jewelry store? Does it weigh 1 kg? What happens when it becomes 1 kg?  Let’s put a 1kg  weight here, right? And if you listen to it and it is parallel, it is 1 kg. By the way, if you lean to the left, you will not gain 1 kg. On the other hand, it weighs more than 1 kg. There is such a thing, right? Weights that do the balancing act. We’re talking about scales. But now I see that God put a weight on King Belshazzar, and King Belshazzar flashed. By God’s standards, it sounded like a flash. It did not meet God’s expectations. That’s what I’m talking about. Nowadays, many religious people, mainly Catholics, put the pendulum of evil deeds on one side and good deeds on the other. So, how good is this person? When you put it like this, the bad deeds are heavier, and if you lift up the good deeds, you are hell. Let’s talk about it like this. Evil deeds are choosing. God is not an addition. You are going to hell and  you have to go to purgatory. That’s how people use their judgment.  In your world, in the world, you weigh yourself against the trends of the times, the spirit of   the times, social justice, public opinion, human rights, the principle of relativity, science, philosophy, majority opinions, scholars’ opinions, religious opinions    ,  values    , and so on.  Yes I have and I am right in my values these days. Then I am a righteous man. That’s how you do it. God’s scales are not good deeds. The weight of God’s balance is Jesus Christ. Put Jesus Christ on this side and weigh yourself. How do you become parallel and weigh that much? There’s no other way. Jesus needs to be in me.  Jesus has to be in me to be ugly and unanimous with Jesus. There’s no other way. So the Apostle Paul said test whether you are in the faith, and prove yourselves. I say plainly that if you do not know for yourselves that Christ is in you, you are forsaken. When an unsaved person hears this, it may give them goosebumps.  That’s not the case when a saved person hears this. That’s how it goes. It’s so easy to be saved. If you don’t have Jesus Christ as your weight on the scale, then that scale is not God’s scale. It’s a human scale, isn’t it? A scale that does not use the Bible as a balance is not God’s scale.  Nowadays, a lot of different ideas come up, and I prayed for something

There’s a lot of talk about it, and people love to hear it.  But what’s the weird thing. I’m so sorry. Uh, it’s in the Bible, these guys put this stuff on it and hang it up.  Take the words of men and put on the Bible, now. This isn’t usually the problem. That is why the Apostle Paul said,  “In the time of the end, men will turn away from the truth and pursue false stories.” I’m chasing nonsense. I see that when mentally ill people read the Bible, they just do something like prophecy. Do it very similarly.  I’ve seen too many of them. I’m talking about something that’s in the Bible. That’s why people believe him. But if you say something that isn’t in the Bible, you just skip it. Uh, this is right, right. It’s the other way around.  You have to do this with the Bible, but you are deceived because you put this person on this side and the Bible on the other side. The Apostle Paul said that people will turn away from the truth and pursue false stories. This is how it goes. How subtle Satan is. Because even if you read the Bible, you don’t understand it. But when people talk about it, they get excited. Weird, right? That’s it. It’s Satan’s trick. The Bible looks hard somewhere. If you look at the whole Bible, you’ve heard it all. All the prophecies have been heard.  You don’t study it, you keep going here, you go to meetings, you listen to people, you listen to this, you listen to that,  and then you get confused. Did I tell you this? When I went to Mexico, a woman repented, but why did she repent? she repented of his suicide attempt. When I asked her why she tried to commit suicide, she told me that she was so happy at first because she heard about this and that, but then she went and lost her mind. So what am I going to believe?  Yes, I’m going to die with it. she was a seeker of God, but no one taught her the Bible. She told me. There was no one to teach me the Bible. Amos prophesied this day. This is the pastor’s job. What is a shepherd? Sepherd feeds the sheep. He is the one who feeds the sheep, not the one who lords it over. I know that if pastors don’t go from Genesis to Revelation, they are usually beaten by the Lord. Don’t be a teacher much. He said that the teacher gets beaten more. If you look at these days

What rank is a pastor, everybody is trying to become a pastor, and that’s scary, folks.  I don’t know how long I’ve run away not to become a pastor. Oh, what am I going to do with the pastor, I take it out of here and there, but God insists so much that I raise my hand. But I don’t know why you’re scrambling to become a pastor. Also, I don’t know if women are doing that to make our husbands pastors. I guess I think of this as a masterpiece. It’s not an honorary position. How much suffering is that? What kind of honorary position is this? What do you get paid a lot of? Do you have a career? I don’t know why. There must be a lot of people who do it because they have nothing to do, right? Because there’s nothing to do. That’s the time. If you use something that is not the Bible as a pendulum, you will surely be deceived.  You can’t do it backwards. People say,  I’m okay with that pastor. Don’t put the pastor’s words on the pendulum.  You can’t put anyone’s words on the pendulum. You have to put the word of God as a pendulum.  There’s a certain scale that modern people use for themselves. I believe in that.  Oh, because I’m good, Koreans,  I’m righteous because I didn’t take other people’s money, I’m not guilty. That’s what adds up.  It’s an extra thing that doesn’t take any money. I’m righteous because I didn’t take the money, I’m not going to hell. That’s how I think about it. But because they don’t use Jesus Christ and God’s Word as pendulums, they don’t believe in Him.  When I weighed it on the scales, it turned out to be insufficient. What happens when you put Jesus Christ on a weight and put him on the scales, and he goes up? Since there is no Jesus, it is light and goes up, right? Then you’re going to hell. These words were not given only to King Belshazzar. It is a message to all the people of the world. I weighed it on the scales, and you fell. After all, this is what we’re talking about. Maybe that’s what the Lord will say later when he goes to hell. I have weighed you on the scales, and you are not qualified. In general, all religious people believe in their own good works. Oh, no matter how much you wipe the outside of the trash can.  It’s full of all kinds of filth inside, but no matter how much you wipe it off the outside. What’s that? Education, self-deeds, various things that he has accomplished,  and his achievements while living in this world. No matter how much I tried to wipe it off, I felt a filthy sin inside.  Jesus had to take the blood and wash it. When we say that Jesus went in, did He go in because His blood had already covered sin? You can’t be in sin. Spiritually speaking. The gospel isn’t being preached these days. What are you listening to in church right now? It’s mostly humanities. Well, if you do this, you’ll be fine. This is how you should live. Ah, that’s what Confucius, Mencius, and philosophers know better. Rather, Buddhist monks know better, right? They’re the ones who have abandoned the world and pushed their heads in. It’s fallen these days, but it’s still there. You can’t even compare yourself to someone like that. Nowadays, Christians can put Buddhist monks here and hang themselves on them. That’s not even enough. Jesus Not to mention Christ. We live in times like these. If the Lord comes, will the Son of Man find faith on this earth?

        Verse 28 says, “Peres says that the king’s kingdom is divided and given to the Medellins and the Persians.”  You said that earlier. But it’s Peres. Why? I  took the middle part of the uparshin off and read it.I  ‘ve only read a part. The word Uparshin has two meanings: divided and Persia. That’s why the Persian Gulf is taken apart, Pares and stuff like that. I’ll just talk about it and give it to Persia and Mede. That’s it. Isn’t that already prophesied? The Holy Spirit. Right? Who will prophesy? Will the prophets of the world prophesy? I can never predict it. Will pastors who are good at prophecy prophesy now? I can’t. Eventually, it was divided into Mede and Persia.Once upon a time,  when Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, the golden statue had a golden head, right? The arms and chest were silver, right? This is Mede and Parsia. Because the two are separated. It had already been prophesied to Nebuchadnezzar through Daniel, and it came out that the kingdom would be Mede and Persia.If you  study the book of Daniel a little longer, you will find Greece and Greece.You said that before there was even  a country called Greece. The Bible is all prophecy. You  can’t help but see the prophecy in these words. The Old Testament is all prophecy. Again, Genesis 1:    1 says, God created the heavens and the earth. This is also a prophecy. To create a new heaven and a new earth. So I went through the  book of Revelation a long time ago, and then I went straight to Genesis, Exodus. In the Psalms, he prophesied tremendously. They have eyes but can’t see, and they have ears but can’t hear, because they’re blind. I don’t see it. That’s why it’s not funny. In these words, there is a  picture of what is going to happen in all colors, but you can’t see it. You can only see the letters. That’s why the Bible isn’t fun. Why one book? It’s not a single book, actually. It’s not just one book, it’s a tremendous book. Let’s  dig deep. You can’t do it if you don’t see it. The prophet did, didn’t he? I’m so ignorant that I can’t see it. I’m blind and can’t see. In the end, this cannot be done without the Holy Spirit. Verse 29  [Then Belshazzar commanded, that Daniel should be clothed in scarlet, and put  a golden necklace about his neck, and declared concerning him, that he should be the third ruler of the kingdom.] He’s out of his mind, isn’t he? What do you give me when you don’t know if you’re going to die that day? How Daniel must have laughed to himself. What it is? No matter how much the kings of the world squabble and fuss, we are still the story of the future, and we do not know your fate. That’s about it. That’s Christian, folks. They’re real Christians. In Roman times, Christians and believers were bitten by lions and burned.

How much did they sing when they died? Have you seen the movie Quo Vadis, back in the day? So, in Romans 1, your faith is made known to the whole world. To the Romans. How did you get known all over the world? Quo Vadis Domini, in the movie ‘Lord, Where Are You Going?’ That’s what we saw.  It actually happened. Even though I was being eaten by a lion, I was told to eat my head first. This is the real Christian, folks. So I’ve said it many times, but if Philip or Stephen or any of these people were alive and were visiting the church today, what would they say?  What did I say? Lord, what are these people doing? That’s what you said, right? This is usually not a problem now. When I talk about this, people get stressed out again. Even though I’m telling you the truth. On the contrary, when the word falls, I am asked to repent, but people do not know how to repent. It’s good as it is now, and I’m good enough for it. I’m on my scales. Resting on the scales of the Word. That’s why I’m going to go for the rest of my life.  And people find it interesting because they don’t proclaim the words of a heart-piercing message, but give them a massage. That’s why pastors these days have to be comedians. I saw a pastor who was just singing a popular song while he was preaching, and people liked it that way. How do you sing a popular song from the pulpit? How does a pastor go on a comedian show? This doesn’t make sense, does it? I love it these days. Why?  He’s the one who adds the scales. Not the Lord. It’s sweet there. It’s the same with me.  That’s the pastor, so I’m okay with that. I’m OK. People just live in peace and safety. I don’t like people who preach the real word and put the weight of the word on it. Oh, when I listen to that person, I get a reverse feeling. They don’t repent and can’t turn back. Eventually, [that night he was slain by the Chaldeans, and Darius the Medean And he took the kingdom, and he was about sixty-two years old.]At the age of  62, Darius took over the kingdom. Daniel was also used during the reign of King Darius. In fact, as we mentioned last time, when Belshazzar was feasting, the Persian soldiers were besieging the outside of the city. The castle was about 15~20 meters  tall. It was an impregnable castle that could be traveled by two tanks in  two ways. I will go before thee, and I will level the rough places, and I will shatter the gates of brass […]  The brass door comes out. [I will split the iron bar in two. And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and the riches which are hidden in secret places, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord whom thou hast called by name, the God of Israel.]

King Cyrus was used by God. So what do you do with Cyrus? He sent the Israelites back to Jerusalem. That is why he is my anointed. God anointed. In order to write. That’s what I did. Now, look elsewhere  at Isaiah 44:28 . The word Cyrus comes up again. Concerning Cyrus it is said, “He is my shepherd, and will fulfill all my joys.”And he said to Jerusalem, ‘You will be rebuilt.’ and to the temple, “Your foundation shall be laid.” This is what we do.] Cyrus issued an edict for the Israelites to return. It was written by God. God uses the people He has set up. The presidents of South Korea are also appointed by God. This does not mean that the person is saved. If the person understands and repents, he will be saved. No matter how popular the vote is, it doesn’t work.  The same goes for the president of the United States, right? Take a look at it this time. It’s God’s will. Why did a man who admitted homosexuality become president? I talk about it, but I’m going according to God’s will. Who’s looking at me? You’re going to elect a pastor, right? I don’t. Why do I do it? Who am I going to photograph? God has decreed everything. I am a person who is not of the world. There are still many Christians in the world. We just have to watch and pray. It is done according to the will of the Father. It’s all in the Bible. If you look at the book of Revelation, it’s all there. We all know what’s going to happen. But I don’t believe them when I tell them about it. You know everything, right? I don’t talk about it. Because I can’t handle it. If you can handle it, you’re going to make a fuss about it. In the end, it is God who opens the gates of the city by itself.  Historians only know  that Cyrus used this or that strategy. But God, the soldier guarding the gate, was so distracted that he forgot to close the gate, so he opened it, and he didn’t know it. How do historians know this? We don’t know. I will open the door of the brass bar in the Bible. I will open the brass door to you. It’s God’s doing. So when King Belshazzar rewarded Daniel,  he didn’t think about it at all. Who’s going to open it and come in?  Even though it has been under siege for 20 years, it has never been opened, so how can it be opened that night? Isn’t it?

This is a guy who changed his life by drinking and feasting. That’s how it is these days. People do things that don’t seem like a big deal and change their lives. Fame, money, lust and life-changing. What a pitiful life. That is why we know that this word of God is fulfilled in this way. How quietly did the soldiers come in?,  they were all drunk and crazy that day. Even though the king died and the country changed. People didn’t know until three days later. It was just a bloodless fall. If they fought each other, people would know right away. They didn’t know that the king had died or that the regime had changed. This is what God does. It’s the same. Isn’t it the same when Rome falls? How vainly ruined was Rome?  He was stabbed to death by his own men, right? And it’s over. That’s why we’re here, let’s go ahead and find out. Let’s  readDaniel 2:44,45.[In the time of these kings…] Kings. It’s the ten-toe era, isn’t it? Revelation ten toes? [God will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, and it shall not be handed over to any other people, but it shall crush and destroy all these kingdoms, and shall stand forever.]  During the Great Tribulation, there are only 10  kings under the Antichrist. It’s all gone.  It’s divided into 10 pieces. We’re sharing it now.  United States of America, United States of Europe, United States of South America,  United States of Asia.  It’s all divided.  We’re working on it. Even when people see this, they don’t know.  It’s divided into 10 parts. Later, the Antichrist takes over everything. He says he will be the king of kings.  Then [the stone that fell from the mountain without the touch of the king, and the stone was made of iron, and brass, and clay, and silver, and gold…] Babylon, Medefasa, Greece, Rome, and then all the United States.  [When he saw it shattered, the great God made known to the king what was to come after, and the dream was clear, and the interpretation was certain.” And he did.] Nebuchadnezzar knelt down and worshipped.  Talk about this today. Heresy, syllogism. People today are worse than Nebuchadnezzar. Okay, so that’s how chapter 5 ends. Starting tomorrow, I’ll get into chapter 6. I will pray.

God the Father!  Thank you for telling us in your Word today what has already been done and what is to come to pass, that you will come and destroy all the nations of the world,  and that you will surely come to know that it will come to pass, and that it will come to pass, even if it is the King of kings and the Lord of lords for a thousand years. Thank you for giving us the Holy Spirit in us and the spirit of prophecy that looks into the future so that we can understand the Word and believe it. And thank You for letting us know that we are saved because of the Spirit of prophecy and that this salvation cannot be taken away from us by anyone.

Thank You for making the daughters of Jerusalem look to the Lord without wavering, like the Shulammite woman, no matter how much people talk about it.  Lord, help us to have people like the Shulammite woman in this church so that anyone who comes in can be born again and become children of God and brides of Christ. Please receive the Holy Spirit and fill us with the history, wisdom and understanding that we understand every time we read and listen to the Bible,  and pour out our gifts so that we can become a church where the saints love each other fervently and serve one another with the gifts they have received. May we be a church full of grace that lifts one another, humbles itself above others, considers others better than ourselves, girds its loins with humility, and washes its feet like you.  The history of forgiving and washing away all sins and transgressions by washing the feet. When this happens, no matter who comes into the church, let it be dissolved in your grace here. With thanks, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
